"Wake up, mom," two voices rang in my head. Slowly, my eyes fluttered open to a bright red sky. Two silhouettes appeared over me.

"Billy and Tommy?" tears brimmed in the corners of my eyes.

"Wake up, mom," they told me again.

"You can't be here," Billy told me.

"Get back to Wanda," Tommy followed quickly.

"What happened?" I coughed out. They looked between each other and then back down at me.

"You can't blame Peter for what he did," Billy said softly. "He only did what we asked him to."

"Those… people…. The Power Broker what they wanted from us we couldn't give them," Tommy added.

"What did they want from you?" I sobbed. "What could they have possibly wanted? You were just children! You still had time to live!"

"No, we didn't," Billy told me. "We did what we had to do."

"Thank you for everything," Tommy said softly. "We couldn't have asked for anything better."

"Wait!" I shouted, shooting up quickly. My vision faltered but quickly returned to normal. I felt each of their hands on my back steadying me.

"It's time to let us go," they told me.

"You can't leave me," I sobbed. "You can't!"

"Mom, there is someone that wants to see you before you go," Billy whispered with a small smile.

"Please don't leave me," tears flowed from my eyes.

"We love you so much," Tommy told me. Both of them started to fade into a dim light.

"I don't want to lose you!" I sobbed.

"Tell Wanda that we said thank you for everything," they said together before they finally faded into nothing.

"Saying goodbye is death by a thousand cuts, isn't it?" a voice whispered from behind me.

I turned and saw a different figure standing behind me. Dark curly hair flowed over her shoulders. Her auburn eyes met mine but they weren't filled with the love that they used to be filled with, instead, they were full of pity.

"I look through the windows of this love," she said, gesturing between me and her. "Even though we boarded them up. Chandeliers still flickering here because I-"

"I can't pretend it's ok when it's not," I finished in a soft whisper.

"No it's not," she agreed with a small smile. Her eyes fell down to her feet.

"Allie?" I whispered.

"Yeah, it's really me," she responded.

"I-"

"I don't blame you," she interrupted. "You didn't mean to… do what you did. I know you loved me with your entire heart but I wasn't the one for you."

"That's not tr-"

"It is," she said slowly. "You love Wanda…. Like really love her. And you were right about what I would want you to do. I did want you to move on. I didn't want you to mourn me just because you made a simple mistake."

"Allie, I killed you," I mumbled. "That's not a mistake… that's a crime."

"I didn't help much," she muttered. "I pinned your hands behind your back because I thought I had reason to attack, but no. Sorry that I hurt you."

"You didn't hurt me," I told her. She sighed and looked around the empty valley.

"Look at us now," she said with a small chuckle. "We met each other in the Afterglow."

"Allie," I whispered.

"You should get back to Wanda," Allie told me. "And do me a favor."

"Anything."

"Tell her that you're still hers," she stared me right in the eyes as she talked. "Tell her that you'll be just fine, even when you lose your mind. Tell her that it's not her fault, tell her that she's all you want, even when she breaks your heart. Will you do that for me?"

It didn't seem like a question, more like a command.

"Ye-yes," I stuttered.

"Thank you, Mya," she whispered with a smile. "I have a feeling we won't be seeing each other for a while now."

White light shone through my closed eyelids and as my sense came back I heard the steady pulse of a heart monitor. I slowly opened my eyes to the white walls of a small medbay. My breathing hitched when I felt pressure on my stomach, but when I looked down I saw Wanda fast asleep. Her mouth was open and a little drool spilled onto the front of my hospital gown. Her hair spilled all over the front of me and it fell into her face. I couldn't help but smile at the sight before me.

I moved my hand from my side towards her face only stopping once to wince in pain. I slowly brushed the hair out of her face. The pad of my thumb traced over her cheek and my heart panged with pain. She stirred under my touch and I watched as she slowly opened her eyes. Her eyes quickly widened when she saw me looking down at her.

"Mya?" she whispered. I nodded softly as she pulled me into a tight hug. "I-I missed you."

"How long have I been in here?" I muttered into her hair. She pulled away and looked into my eyes.

"Oh, Mya," her voice was soft and soothing.

"What?"

"I've been here waiting for you for the past two months," she mumbled.

"Was it really that long?" I was shocked by her reply.

"They said there might be a chance that you weren't going to come back to me bu-but I waited here every day with you," tears brimmed in her eyes.

"Hey, it's ok," I whispered, pulling her into a hug. "I wouldn't want anyone else to wait for me."

She studied my face for a few moments before she placed her hand on top of mine. We sat in silence for a few minutes before she let out a shaky breath. Tears spilled from the corners of her eyes.

"Please don't blame Peter for what he did," she sobbed. "He's felt so b-bad."

"Hey, I know what happened," I whispered calmly. "I would never blame him for any mistake he made because they're mistakes. I talked- I mean I have a feeling that he didn't want to do what he did."

"He's barely slept over the past two months," she cried out. "He's woken up with nightmares every night and I think I'm barely keeping him sane."

"It's ok," I whispered trying to get her to calm down. "Everything is going to be ok. I promise."

I just held her until her shaky breath became calm again. Then, I pulled away and looked into her bright green eyes. The eyes that I fell in love with all those years ago. The eyes that still have me memorized to this day. I placed my hand under her chin and pulled her towards me. Our lips brushed together and I felt a small spark pushing me further into her.

"I missed this," I whispered softly. She placed her hand on my cheek and for the first time in a long time, I felt a sense of calm overtake me.

"We couldn't have asked for anything better," Tommy's voice rang in the back of my head.

I waited until Wanda was asleep again to tell her what I was asked to say. My fingers ran through her hair as she snored a little. My heart didn't hurt like I thought it would and maybe that was because I did what the twins asked me to do. Or maybe it was because I was with Wanda again. Maybe just maybe it was because I finally was able to let go of my past with Allie. Whatever it was I was glad Wanda wouldn't have to see my hurt once again.

I knew the past two months had taken a toll on her and I couldn't imagine putting myself in her shoes. We had been through so much together in such a short amount of time. For once, we deserved to be happy.

Wanda let out a deep sigh bringing me back from my thoughts.

"The twins wanted you to know that they were thankful for everything you did for them," I whispered to the sleeping girl. "And I swear Wanda Maximoff I will let no one hurt you. No matter what."
