"He has to be somewhere on your records somewhere, there's nowhere else he could have come from!" A hand rose to comb through his tresses in frustration as he paced.

The man on the video call was just as frazzled. "I do not know what to tell you, sir, but he is not a resident of this country! It could be that he is an immigrant-" His words stalled as a paper was fluttered in front of his face, momentarily blocking his face from the camera, then it was filled with the angry expression of a young woman.

"Seto, why are you running a background check and had Pegasus send you a hair sample?" Her oceanic eyes were dark with anger and the heavy warning in her tone told him to carefully pick his next few words.

"I have every reason to, Anzu, after all you have brought him into my house." The tall sapphire eyed man regarded the screen with concern when she scowled. "I heard about the accident but nowhere does anything say that he was legally aboard that boat!"

"It's a ship and frankly I don't care if he isn't a citizen of our country! He needed help so I'm giving it! Kindness doesn't have to cost anything and can make all the difference to someone in need!" Her arms crossed over her chest. "You're just upset because you aren't here to stop me." His brow twitched but chose to remain silent. It was one of their rules that whoever was home at the time was head of the house, meaning that their way was law upon the grounds. "You're about to meet up with that guy from DungeonDiceInc, right? How are you feeling about your presentation?"

"Don't change the subject," he huffed. "I expect him to be gone by the time I'm back." The call ended with a press of the red button on the keyboard and he settled back into the luxury chair behind the glass desk, turning so that he could fix his gaze out upon the endless horizon. Something wasn't right with this whole thing but what more could he do? His finger met the call button and the captain appeared upon the computer screen. "Increase our speed. I have a meeting and places to be."
