Sanji only waited thirty minutes before Sabo ran in to see Sanji sitting down. Sanji turned his head, to the side. He smiles at Sabo, they both close their eyes and shield them from the hallway light turning on. After their eyes adjust Sabo moves Tim over to lay him on his stomach. Sabo zip ties him. Sanji takes the opportunity to stand up.

"Hows Zoro?" Sanji asks smacking his pants, getting the dust of him.

Sabo turns to him and examines him. He's hurt here and there. "Law and Chopper are checking him right now. You should get checked too." Sabo says. He picks up and puts Tim over his shoulder. Sanji starts walking and starts to feel the slight burn of his wounds. Sanji goes in the elevator and looks to see Sabo still standing. He notices Sanji's confused expression. "I'm heading to the car outside. You should see Law or Chopper." Sabo says.

Sanji wanted to see Zoro so he headed to his room. When he got there he saw Zoro back on the bed a d Chopper and Law talking to each other. When they see Sanji they are shocked and Chopper is the first to freak out. He sits Sanji on the the foot of Zoro's bed. He gets disinfected and small bandages. He cleans all the cuts and puts them in bandages. Once done he sighs in relief. "What happened Sanji?" Chopper asks.

"To me or Zoro?"

"Both. We got a call saying something happened and came to Penguin looking over Zoro on the floor."

"The person who kidnapped Zoro wasn't capture and came. He did something to Zoro and I fought him just now which is why I'm full of cuts." Sanji explains to them as he look at Zoro laying down. "What happened to him?" Sanji asks obviously worried.

"He's a little bruised and hurt, he must have tried to get away. He's just passes out." Sanji sighs. That's really good news.

"Don't worry he'll be fine with more rest." Law says walking out of the room. Sanji stared at the door he walked out of. Chopper smiles.

"He cares, just doesn't show it like Luffy or you do." Chopper says.

"How did he even meet Luffy?" Sanji asks.

"The night Jamie died. Zoro was stabbed. He was the doctor to stitch him up. Luffy was there and met Law. Luffy took the initiative. It took a long time for Law to finally say 'yes' to dating Luffy. They've been dating ever since."

"That's quite the love story."

"It's not the most romantic but it's Luffy and Law and it fits them." Chopper says. He looks at Sanji, "are you staying?"

"Yeah, when will he wake up?"

"Maybe by sunrise or in the afternoon. It's a waiting game now." Chopper says. He also takes his leave. He waves Chopper goodbye. He looks at Zoro glad his love is okay. Well, not on his deathbed.

Sanji had gotten permission from Zeff to take a break off of work for a while and he's gotten the okay from Nami to stay with Zoro at the hospital. He needed to talk to Zoro, there were a lot of things he needed to say.

He's been next to him the whole time. The nurses that come to check on Zoro seem to be friendly with him too. Chopper came a couple times to check on both of them.

Chopper had said by sunrise or afternoon but it's been almost a week. A lot of people were getting worried, even the nurses and Chopper.

Sanji sat on a chair next to Zoro's hospital bed as he sucked on a lollipop. He bought a whole bag of them not knowing how long he'll be waiting. It was nearing the night of the first whole week and Sanji began to doze off, he hasn't been doing anything but sit there so his body is getting weird, since he's not getting any sun or exercise he usual gets.

Sanji jumps in his chair, wide awake now as Zoro jerks awake, sitting up panting heavily. He groans and holds his head in hands. "Damn," the man murmurs. His eyes closed tight as he groaned again. Sanji finally got his baring and stood up.

"Are you okay?" he asks. Zoro turns to Sanji surprised.

"What are you doing here?" Zoro asks, then he looks around to see he's still in the hospital. He gets flashes of what happened, Tim came for him, but he doesn't know what happened after.

"I came to talk to you but then Tim got in the way." Sanji looks at Zoro, he seems upset. Well why wouldn't he be? He learned a lot, he's been hurt a lot, and he misses a lot of people. He doesn't know how to start this, what should he start with? Should he even tell him now? It seems like he needs to think about things first.

Both men look at the door after hearing a knock. Then they hear the door opening, "Sanji, I am about to leav-" Chopper comes around the corner. "Zoro!" He runs to hug the man. "You finally opened your eyes." He pulls back and looks at the man, tears threaten to spill. "I'm so glad. I'll be back. We need to do some more tests." He smiles. He looks at Sanji a little angry. "You should have told us he's up." Chopper frowns.

"He just woke up." Sanji says.

"Well you should eat something. I'll be back." Chopper runs off, out the door so the nurses station. Then he comes back to Zoro. They put the man in a wheelchair and take him out.

Sanji sits back down in his chair finishing his lollipop. He felt relieved that the man's awake. He could finally tell him. He's been wanting to get it out since he came back to the hospital, now he can as soon as he comes back. He felt really tired all of a sudden. Having been on edge since Tim's attack, not knowing if he'll wake up and that someone else will take him but Sabo has said he's gotten everyone. There's no one else after Zoro. He's free.

Sanji's eyelids felt really heavy. He put the stick in the trash before sitting back on his chair. He couldn't keep his eyes open any longer so he let them close.
