Arc 3 Chapter 14: Battle's End
"I thought gentle was taking care of you." Daito shouted.
"Not anymore, Daito." Izuku said, dodging a slash from Daito's shadow sword. "Let's just say that Gentle had a change of heart, he's currently helping us and has agreed to testify against you in court. So have fun in the depths of tartarus."
In anger, Daito uses more of his shadows to make his one handed sword into a two handed buster sword.
"Im going to have so much fun chopping you down, Deku. But i'll make sure that i don't kill you. Oh no. That is something that only he deserves to do. I will however, make you watch as i kill that little bitch of yours and those little friends that help you. Starting with gamer boy."
"Oh no. you aint chopping anyone, Daito." Kirito said, jumping between Izuku and Daito, blocking Daito's slash as Kenshi returned with Momo.
"Thanks for holding him off Deku, Kirito." Kenshi thanked him. "Now its time to end this."
"I'm joining you guys too. 5 minutes ago, this fight would have been all yours. But he called my darling Mochi a bitch and he is going to pay for that." Izuku said.
"Well, if you're fighting him, let's even the odds a bit." Kirito said, using his quirk to spawn Excalibur. "I believe that this would be the perfect sword for you, Deku. And Arcade, these are yours." He said as he handed his own blades to Kenshi.
"You sure?" They asked in unison.
"Yup, I can't wield Excalibur as easily as you, Deku and Captain Arcadia, it's time you got a bit of an upgrade from cheap copies of my swords isn't it?" Kirito told him. "Now go, the clock is ticking on these weapons."
Kenshi and Izuku glance at each other, smirking before launching themselves at Daito.
"Hey, Deku, remember what I taught you about switching in SAO Universe?" Kenshi asked the boy.
"Yup." Izuku responded.
"Then lets get this boss battle over with." Kenshi said as he crossed blades with Daito, repelling and stunning the man long enough for Izuku to slash at the mans abdomen.
Daito however dodges the attack by converting his body into shadows, thus nullifying the attack. Izuku went for a kick which was blocked by his shadow. Kenshi then went for an attack with Kitiro's sword. However none of the slashes were able to touch him. Kirito pulled another sword from his inventory hoping it would do the job. But his luck be damned as Daito managed to block him.
Each of the pros was working their hardest in an effort to stop him. Izuku waas using a mix of kicks and punches, while Kenshi was using the Eraserhead Special to try and restrain him. No matter what they tried, Daito always managed to evade.
"Your foolish attacks won't work on me little heroes," Daito said, "As long as I have my shadow intact I can evade all attacks possible!"
He then used his shadow to force the others apart from him. He was about to finish them off when he heard a sound from an instrument. It was a bass. Daito smirked.
"Looks like someone wants to get funky," he said.
He turned to see Jirou playing a bass guitar wanting a go at the villain. Daito smirked. He formed his shadow into a bass with real strings. He then walked forward to her.
"You're going down," he said, "Metal style."
Jirou continued to play the same notes on her bass. Daito then played something to go against her riff. Jirou knew she was gonna have to up the anti eventually. She then played another riff in order to throw Daito off.
"You think that's gonna stop me?" he asked.
He played another bass riff that was better than her's. However that wasn't gonna stop Jirou from doing what she loved! She played another riff to throw Daito off. He played another riff on top of her. The sound waves were getting too much for Jirou. Daito grinned.
"That's right cupcake," he said, "I actually know how to play bass."
He then played one final chord that forced Jirou back into a wall. Daito walked forward and grabbed her by the shirt.
"Did you really think you were gonna beat me with some pathetic bass playing?" Daito asked.
"First off, she plays the bass VERY well." Kaminari shouted.
"And second of all, I wasn't trying to beat you. Not exactly." Jirou said,
She looked to her right. Daito looked and noticed his shadow coming apart and the portal being shut down. He suddenly realized what just happened. He was distracted! The portal was being torn apart. Jirou then punched him in the face and ran, escaping from his grasp. Daito turned to Izuku, Kenshi, and Kirito who accomplished their first mission.
"Now you've done it boy," he said, "I was going to spare you all a horrible fate. But now that you've pushed me over the edge, I'm not gonna stop until I kill every last one of you!"
His shadow formed all around him. It soon became a giant creature that was taller than most buildings. Everyone was concerned about what was to happen next. Player alpha appeared before Kenshi.
"Anything I can use against this monster?!" Kenshi asked.
"Good thing you asked. You earned enough XP points to unlock this!" Player Alpha said pointing to a specific item.
He saw a mech-like figurehead in his itinerary that he could pick for this battle. He figured this would be a great time to test it out. He selected the item. Suddenly a hologram of a mech appeared. Kenshi was placed on a control panel and was lifted up. The mech slowly transformed into a Gundam Mech from the Gundam video games. It was big enough to match the shadow monster. Everyone was amazed by this, especially Iida.
"Holy SHIT!" Iida exclaimed.
"LANGUAGE!" Katsuki shouted out of nowhere.
"Not the time, Bakugou!" Iida retorted as the Gundam mech was faced off against the giant.
It was a big brawl of good vs evil. The gundam mech pulled out a shield and knocked the giant away into a building. While this was happening, the other pros were evacuating the city. Tsu was pulling people away with her tongue as the brawl was continuing. The Gundam mech grabbed a sword and started slicing at the shadow creature.
"You will never stop me from fighting the corrupt!" he said, "All you pro heroes will be mincemeat when I'm finished with you!"
Kenshi continued fighting hard to protect the ones he loves.
"You made two mistakes bastard," he said, "Mistake 1: Trying to destroy a whole campus out of revenge. Second mistake: Trying to kill the woman I love."
He then dashed at the shadow monster and punched it hard. Ochako was looking for Izuku.
"Has anyone seen Deku?!" she asked, "Has ANYONE seen Deku?!"
The battle was continuing. Daito looked at Kenshi with a smirk.
"Just who the hell do you think you are? You think you're a hero? Well I'll tell you what you are; a pain in my ass," he said, "Do you have any idea how long it took for me to form the league, develop those weapons, and come up with the money to make this portal so I could carry on with this godforsaken scheme?! Like 2 story arcs! 2 STORY ARCS!"
Kenshi was listening to him monologue. Meanwhile in the Mech's hand, Izuku was getting ready.
"You're not cool enough to be aa hero. You're zero, you're nothing!" Daito said, "Me, I'm what's hip, I'm what's happening, I'm blowing up right now!"
"You are blowing up," Kenshi saiad, "Right now."
The mech released his hand revealing Izuku who had Full Cowling to 50%. Izuku then lunged at the giant with full speed, getting ready to perform an ultimate move. He was spinning around multiple times, and getting ready to attack with the heel of his foot.
"Las Vegas… SMAAAAAAAAAAAAAASHHHHHHHHHHH!"
The kick was so powerful that it managed to tear through his defences and kick Daito right in the face. A tremendous explosion was seen by everyone in the city. The dust started to clear up. People walked over. They saw Izuku in a victory pose over the villain. He managed to save the day and defeat the bad guy. The crowds cheered as Izuku turned around to face the crowd.
Ochako ran up to him and shouted, "Deku!"
She then gave him a smooch. Izuku was surprised at first but he smiled. He then scooped Ochako down and kissed her in front of the whole audience. He was making a name for himself as a great hero!
Iida looked around to make sure Izuku was safe. He was looking in a pair of binoculars that Momo gave him. He saw some people walking by. Class 1A was safe and sound. He went down to confront them.
"Midoriya, Uraraka, you're both safe!" Iida said, "Tokoyami, Kaimiari, Jirou! And Jotaro and Asui as well!"
"I told you to call me Jojo/Tsu!" Kenshi and Tsu said before glaring at each other.
"Right," Iida said.
Later on, Daito was arrested for his crimes and thrown in the police car. The day was saved once again. Before departing to go back to U.A, Kenshi got an autograph from Kirito, and was given an exact replica of his trademark sword. Kenshi then bowed multiple times and thanked him before being pulled away by Momo.
The ride back to U.A was a peaceful one to say the least. Feeling sorry for Awase, Kenshi agreed to set him up with a girl when they got back. Meanwhile Sero was getting well acquainted with Amelia, while Kirishima and Mina were discussing plans for a double date with Ojiro and Toru.
Everyone was happy with what had happened that day, and Izuku was making his mark as a future pro. The second semester was about to start for our heroes. Izuku was excited for what was to come. However, he was called into Aizawa's office one morning. And then…. It happened.
"Problem child, I got some bad news," he said, "You're on house arrest for a few days."
Hearing those words shocked Izuku.
