A/N: Here is the second update of the night, and I should warn you... it has a hell of a cliffhanger. A couple of more chapters and I shall be writing Part 3. Happy reading my lovely readers! :)

This chapter is Rated M.

As they arrive at the garage of Emma's apartment, the blonde switches off the car. Her body turns to face Regina, her elbow casually resting against the steering wheel, her eyes burning. Her hand comes up to caress Regina's lower lip, ending all the way up to her scar.

"We will make love in the car, one day. But right now, I wish to make love to you on every possible surface inside my apartment."

"Yes, please." Regina bites down on her lip, unable to help it. Every single muscle in her body was clenching.

Once they enter the elevator, they remain quiet as they are in its confinements. And Regina doesn't know how she does it. She doesn't know how she doesn't lose control, rip her shirt open and just force her to fuck her inside this elevator. It wasn't until there was a ding, and the doors parted that Emma surprised her by lifting her up, exiting the elevator with her and knocking off the vase that stood against the foyer table directly to the floor. It shattered into a million pieces beneath them.

"First surface here," she whispered, placing Regina down against the table, all while undoing her jeans and pulling them down. Eager and ready, while positioning herself in between the brunette's parted legs once her own pants were off.

Regina couldn't help but notice the strap on as eager and ready as he was. How the hell does she always have it on? Did she have it on at Dr. Hopper's? She could remember feeling something press against her ass while they were in the elevator, but she couldn't be sure since she was being way too distracted by this same beautiful, broken woman.

"Do you know how much you turn me on?" Emma breathes, yanking off the woman's pants with one swift pull.

Regina shakes her head, watching Emma's hands as they place themselves against her thighs, spreading them apart further. She bites her lip, wanting her already inside.

"Well, you do," Emma breathes. "All the time." She releases a moan, sinking into her, and Regina's eyes close, her body arches up at the wanting, the fullness of it.

She can feel as Emma withdraws slowly, sinking into her again, deeper this time. Her eyes open to see Emma's erotic expression and it automatically makes her combust, moaning her name again and again as the blonde's hips kept moving with no means end. Not until Emma herself was crying out her very own release.

Both lie naked in Emma's bed- their bed- Regina is sprawled over Emma's chest, panting. Holy fuck- does her energy ever run out? They must have made mad love on this bed about ten times already, and in various different positions. Not to mention the guest bedroom, the stairs, and couch…

"Satisfied, Ms. Mills?"

The brunette could feel Emma's soft touch caress along her back as she hums her response, too tired to use her words. Her head lifts up, her eyes look up into Emma's, indicating her of her intention to place a kiss on her bare chest. She can feel Emma tense a bit, but immediately relaxing under her gentle contact.

"Is sex like this for everyone?" Asks Regina. "I'm surprised anyone ever goes out," she murmurs.

Emma grins. "I can't speak for everyone, but it's pretty damn special with you, Regina." She lifts her head up to kiss her, finding the brunette's chin resting against her folded arms that were placed over her bare chest.

"That's because you're pretty damn special, Ms. Swan," she smiles, her hand caressing away at her cheek.

"It's late. We should sleep."

Hm, so she doesn't see herself as special. Well, she was. At least to Regina. Why couldn't Emma see it herself?

Regina cuddles more up to Emma's naked body, happy to feel the woman's arms wrap around her form even tighter. "I loved the house," she murmurs.

Emma grins. "I love you. Go to sleep." She nuzzles the brunette's hair, placing a gentle kiss against it before her eyes close. Soon after, Regina's eyes drift off into a deep sleep, cuddled safely in the blonde's protective embrace, dreaming of sunsets and French doors and wide staircases… and a small brunette haired little boy running through a meadow, laughing and giggling as he is being playfully chased.

Regina shifts in bed, feeling a gentle caress along her hair, followed by picking up on Emma's soft and gentle voice.

"I have to get going, baby." Emma leans in, placing a kiss right on the woman's cheek.

Regina's eyes open, realizing it is still morning. She stretches, her arms reaching out and wrapping around her girlfriend's neck. She inhales, because she can't ever get enough of Emma's perfume.

"Don't go."

She cocks her head to one side and raises an eyebrow. "Ms. Mills- are you trying to keep me from an honest day's work?"

Regina nods, and Emma smiles her new shy smile.

"As tempting as you are, I have to go." She kisses the brunette again and stands. She's wearing an all navy suit with a navy tie and white crisp shirt. She looks every bit the CEO… the hot CEO. "Laters, baby," she murmurs and she's off.

While in the shower, Regina came up with another idea as a gift for Emma on her birthday. It was difficult to buy something for the woman who has everything. True, she had already given her the main gift, but this present was more for Regina than for Emma. It would be something both could enjoy equally.

For work she decided on a black dress that fit perfectly against her figure. Once she is ready for work, she starts looking through Emma's drawers, opening the one that holds all of her ties, which are neatly rolled up in very straight rows. On the bottom drawer are her old ripped jeans, the ones worn in the playroom and looks incredibly hot in. Regina's entire hand runs along them, taking in their softness.

Beneath the jeans, she finds a large, black, flat cardboard box. It piques her interest immediately. What's in here? Her brow furrows, feeling a little like she's trespassing. She takes it out and shakes it. It's heavy as if it holds papers or manuscripts. She can't resist, she opens the lid and quickly shuts it again once her eyes land on the items. Holy shit! Photographs from the red room. The images are branded into her mind. Why did I open this? Why has Emma kept them?

She shudders and scowls at herself- this was before you. Forget them. Emma wants you. She wants to marry you!

She quickly puts everything back, opening the drawer where Emma kept all her ties, quickly pulling out her favorite and exits the closet. She can't exactly ask Emma about those photos, because that would give her away and it would kill the surprise she had for her. She shakes her head. Forget it. Those photos are BR- Before Regina. She heads into into the main room for breakfast, where Mrs. Lucas smiles and then frowns at her.

"Everything all right, Ms. Mills?" She asks kindly.

"Yes," Regina murmurs, distracted. "Mrs. Lucas… do you have the key to the… um…" her cheeks turn red, "playroom?" She whispers as if it were a secret between them.

Mrs. Lucas pauses momentarily, surprised. "Yes, of course." She unclips a small bunch of keys from her belt. "What would you like for breakfast, dear?" she asks as she hands Regina the key.

"Just granola, please. I won't be long."

She heads back upstairs, down the hallway and into the red room. Once she prepares everything, she comes right back down to eat her granola in peace. She made sure to lock the door back how it was. The thought of Daniel stumbling upon that room would be catastrophic for him. Her mind lingered on those photos she stumbled upon… she wondered who of the fifteen could have been photographed? Was it Lily, maybe? Maybe Emma had forgotten she had them or never thought of getting rid of them?

Whatever the reason behind it- it was the past. She was Emma's future. That's all that mattered.

Even at work, Regina chews on the decision if she should mention her discovery to Emma or not. Her subconscious screaming at her not to say anything.

Her phone startles her as it vibrates against her desk.

I calculate that there are at least 30 surfaces to go. I am looking forward to each and every one of them. Then there's the floors, the walls- and let's not forget the balcony.

After that there's my office…

Miss you x

Emma Swan

CEO, Swan Enterprises Inc.

Her email makes Regina smile, and all of her worries evaporate into thin air. Because Emma wants her now. Her. Memories of last night floating inside her head… the elevator, the foyer, their bed. Their bed. And this email. Emma wasn't thinking of those pictures. She was thinking of Regina.

Ms. Swan

You have a one track mind.

I missed you at breakfast.

But Mrs. Lucas was very accommodating.

R x

Emma smiled at her email. She had been smiling so much ever since she gained Regina's forgiveness that it hurt her cheeks. Because she loved her and she was no longer ashamed to feel such a strong feeling for her. She loved her and wanted to marry her.

Before Regina came into her life, Emma never really thought about such a thing as marriage, but now… she wanted her forever.

What was Mrs. Lucas accommodating about?

What are you up to, Ms. Mills?

Emma Swan

Curious CEO, Swan Enterprises Inc.

Regina smirks.

Wait and see… it's a surprise.

I need to work… let me be.

Love you.

R x

Emma's smile grows even wider. As much as she hated surprises, she loved the ones Regina would have for her.

I hate it when you keep things from me.

Emma Swan

CEO, Swan Enterprises Inc.

Regina reads the email response through her phone and scoffs. Why must you feel like this my obsessive control freak? It's not like I am keeping naked pictures of my exes from you.

It's for your birthday.

Another surprise.

Don't be so petulant.

R x

Emma doesn't reply immediately and Regina is called into a meeting.

When Regina glances at her phone again, she realizes that it is four in the afternoon. Where has the day gone? And still no message from Emma- which is weird, even for her. She couldn't have gotten mad about that. Surely she would understand what a birthday surprise was… she decides to email her again.

Are you not talking to me?

Don't forget I am going for a drink with Daniel, and that he's staying with us tonight.

Please rethink about joining us.

R x

Minutes later and still no reply from Emma. She called her cellphone and just got her voicemail. I hope she's okay. She calls again, only for Emma's clipped tone to sound in the same voicemail message as earlier, saying, 'Swan, leave a message.'

Regina sighs, feeling a strange sensation inside her chest. "Hi… it's me. Gina. Are you okay? Call me." She stutters through her message, never having to leave one for her before. She scolds at herself for having announced who she was- not like Emma wouldn't know it was you who called her!- she shakes her head. She almost wanted to call Ingrid, Emma's PA, but decided that would be a step too far. She could have run into some kind of trouble at work that required all of her attention. Yes, that's it. So, Regina decides to concentrate on work herself.

Suddenly, her phone rings unexpectedly, causing her to jump. Emma! But no- it's Belle- finally!

"Belle!" Regina answers cheerfully, feeling a slight ache in her heart that it wasn't Emma returning her call, but she was still happy to finally hear from her best friend who she had missed so much.

"Gina!" Belle shouts from wherever she is.

"Are you back? I've missed you."

"Me, too. I have so much to tell you. We're just arriving- me and my Rubylicious." She giggles, sounding very un-like Belle. This was a new Belle. Happier.

"Finally. I have so much to tell you, too." Regina smiles. "I am having drinks with Daniel after work. Join us."

"Daniel is in town? Sure! Text me where."

"Okay." Regina beams.

"You good, Gina?" Belle asks, sensing something off. Like she always could.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"Still with Emma?"

"Yes."

"Good. Laters!"

Regina chuckles. "See you soon." She hangs up her call, releasing a sharp breath.

Finally, Belle is home! How would she even begin to tell her all that's happened? About Emma's marriage proposal! So much to remember.

An hour later, her phone rings again- Emma? No, it's Kathryn.

"Yes?" Regina answers.

"Gina, you should see the guy asking for you in Reception. He is too cute."

Daniel must be here. Regina glances at the clock- it's five fifty-five, and a small thrill of excitement pulses through her. She hadn't seen him for ages, it felt like.

"Gina, wow!" His eyes glow as he sees his friend. "You look so great." He grins.

"You don't look so bad yourself." She smiles. "I'll just grab my purse and we can head on out."

"I'll wait here." He smiles, winking over at Kathryn who blushes.

Both friends pick up their drinks from the bar, gathering inside a booth for more privacy. Given that the bar was super crowded this evening.

"Did you find Emma's place okay?" She asks Daniel.

"Yeah. I haven't been inside. I just delivered the photos to the service elevator. Some guy named Gold took them up. Looks like quite a place."

"It is. You should see the inside." Regina nods.

"Can't wait. That is, of course… if it really is okay with Emma that I crash there for a night?" His look is hopeful.

"She's okay, Daniel." Regina reaches for his hand, smiling. "Trust me."

"Well…" He raises his beer, "Cheers, then. New York agrees with you."

Regina flushes, clinking her bottle along with Daniel's. It's Emma that agrees with me. She thinks to herself.

"So, tell me about your show and how it went."

Daniel, ever so passionate about his work- goes into full story mode. All of his work sold, except for three. But, he went on telling Regina how his student loans were paid off and he was still left with some money to spare.

"And I've been commissioned to do some landscapes now, too. Pretty cool, huh?" He beams.

"That's wonderful, Daniel. Not interfering with your studies, I hope?"

"Nah. I have nothing but time on my hands lately."

Regina chuckles. "No girlfriends to keep you busy? Last time I saw you, you had half a dozen women hanging around your every word." She smirked.

"Nah, Gina." He actually blushes. "None of them are women enough for me."

"Oh, sure. Daniel Colter- lady killer." She teases.

"Hey- I have my moments, Gina," He looks vaguely hurt.

"Sure you do." Regina chuckles.

Oh, has he missed that smile on the brunette's face. Of course he knew things between Emma and her were serious, more serious than he would like but… he still had hope… deep down.

"So, how are things with Swan?" He asks, his tone changing, becoming cooler.

"She's good. We're good." Regina murmurs. "We're great."

"Great, huh?" His brows shoot up. "Things are… pretty serious, then."

"Yes." Regina nods. "Very."

He hums, taking a long sip of his beer.

"What?"

Daniel shakes his head, "No, nothing, it's just…" He chuckles. "I don't know-"

"What?" Regina's tone is more demanding now. Thank you, Emma.

Daniel shrugs, "Things are moving pretty fast with you two, huh?"

"You can say that." Regina sighs, wanting to move away from the Emma topic.

"So… you like living with her?" He asks.

"Daniel-"

"Gina!"

Thank God! Regina turns and there is Belle with Ella. She looks absolutely stunning. Definitely got a tan. Her smile was so bright and happy, Regina could swear she was going to go blind from looking straight at it. And she had turned blonde! Wow! To Regina's surprise, that was a good look for her. She looked so sexy too wearing a pair of jeans and a white t-shirt that exposed her belly. God, did Regina miss her!

Regina quickly shoots up from her seat to hug her so tight, she didn't want to let go. Ever.

Belle pulls away, her eyes taking in her best friend. "Gina, you look hot! Look at you! That dress suits you. Very you." She winks.

"A lot has happened since you've been away, I'll tell you later once we're on our own."

"Cool." She beams, her eyes fall on Daniel, "Hey, Danny-boy!"

"Hey." He smiles, holding his bottle up.

"Hi, Ella." Regina smiles. "How was lunch with Ivy?"

"It was… interesting," she says coolly. Jeez, family trait!

"Ella, you know Daniel." Belle introduces.

"We've met once or twice," Daniel mutters, shaking hands with Ella.

"Yeah, at Belle's old place, right?" Ella smiles, clapping her hands together. "Right- who's ready for a drink, huh?"

"I am." Belle holds up her hand.

"Way ahead of you." Daniel holds up his beer.

Regina checks her phone as she's back from her way to the restroom. She texts Emma, hoping to hear back from her. There was nothing since this morning- no texts, no missed calls- nothing. It was not like her.

"What's wrong, Gina?" Daniel asks, noticing her worried expression.

"I can't reach Emma. I hope she's okay."

"I'm sure she's fine. Would you like another beer?" He offers.

"Sure."

Belle leans across, "Ella told me all about some lunatic stalker ex-girlfriend was in the apartment with a gun?"

Regina cringes. Thanks, Ella. "Yes."

"Gina- what the hell happened while I was gone?" Belle turns her attention to her phone, which rings just in time. Her smile on point as she attends the call, "Hi, baby," she soon frowns, her eyes falling on Regina. "Sure," she hands over the phone to her friend. "It's Ruby… she wants to talk to you."

Me? Regina's brow furrows as she takes the phone from Belle. "Ruby?"

"Gina." Ruby's voice is clipped and quiet, and Regina immediately knows something is terribly wrong.

"What's wrong?"

"It's Emma. She's not back from Portland."

"What? What do you mean?" When did Emma leave for Portland?

"Her helicopter has gone missing."

Regina's face grows pale, all of its blood drops to her feet. "No!"

A/N: No- Emma is NOT dead!
