Luz spent the next couple days in her room, stopped speaking to others, Amity was worried that she may have... taken her own life. Eda had to reassure her the Luz was fine. Amity knocked on Luz's door, hoping that she would answer.

"Luz, could you please answer? I'm worried about you."

Amity got no answer and she frowned.

"Luz, please answer the door. I know you're upset, angry, and scared... but hiding isn't going to solve anything."

Amity didn't hear anything and walked back.

"Okay, Luz, I gave you a chance. Now I'm going to open the door myself."

Amity sprinted and rammed all ninety-three pounds into the door, shoulder first. A loud thud rang through the hall. Amity held her shoulder and quickly realized that was a bad idea. She walked into her room and walked back out with her wand. She made a circle and teleported into Luz's room. She looked around and didn't see Luz, what she did see, was a rope tied to the bed and the window was open. Amity quickly unlocked the door and ran to get Eda. In the woods, Luz was walking, looking for where ever they were hiding.

"You know what you're doing is suicide, right?"

Luz looked over and saw a black and gray Reticulated Python, coiled around a branch. The large snake slithered to the ground and turned back into the blonde demon (It wasn't her Demon Form, she just has the ability to turn into the reptile her Demon Form is. Example: Her mom is an Iguana Demon, so she can turn into an Iguana).

"What do you want Tracey?" Luz asked, clearly annoyed.

"I know you're going after him." Tracey said.

"How would you know that!?"

"Because I can read your mind! Luz, do you have any idea how stupid this idea is?!"

"I don't fucking care! I need to get the Healer's Gem back!"

Tracey closed her eyes.

"Luz." Tracey's eyes snapped open and were now red and her voice became demonic, "I can't let you do this."

Luz's eyes started glowing blue. Her voice gained an echo.

"Try and stop me."

Luz's hands started to glow blue and Tracey's nails became claws.

"I'm sorry about this, Luz."

"So am I, Tracey."

The two ran at each other with their own respective ability at the ready. At Clawthorne Manor, Amity showed Eda the rope leading out the window.

"She takes way too much after me." Eda said, "Alright, Sparky, stay here and I'll go get Luz."

Eda summoned her staff and jumped out the window, flying away on her staff. In the forest, Luz hit a tree, back first.

"Stay down! I don't want to hurt you!"

Luz got up and glared at Tracey.

"You should've let me go."

Luz charged at her with speed that actually surprised Tracey, and managed to hit Tracey hard enough to send her through two full grown trees and made her slam against a large rock. Tracey got up and pulled a large branch out of her stomach. The wound healed and she growled at Luz.

"You leave me no choice."

Tracey ran at Luz and quickly changed into her Demon Form. She wrapped her tail around Luz and started to squeeze the air out of Luz's lungs.

"If you won't stop by yourself, I'll squeeze until you're unconscious!"

Luz started to get limp and her vision started to get dark. She summoned her remaining strength and let out a powerful blast of magic. Tracey "Let Go" of Luz. In reality, her tail was blown into pieces that surrounded the area. Tracey looked at the bloody stump that used to be her tail. Luz grabbed Tracey by her wings and ripped them off, causing Tracey to scream. She would eventually heal and they would grow back before the end of the day, but her wings are the most sensitive part of her body, they are attached to her by a complex system of nerves and muscle. She turned back into her Mortal Form and looked at Luz. They ran at each other and their fist collided with each other, causing a massive blast of magic and power. Shaking several trees. They both were knocked back and landed on the ground with a thud. Tracey started to get up and had a large rock thrown at her head, knocking her back on the ground. Luz quickly put her hand up and put a freeze spell on her. She looked at Tracey, completely encased in ice.

"I'm sorry, Tracey. But I can't let you stop me."

Luz sprinted into the woods, leaving Tracey to wait for the ice to melt.
