Link ran all the way to the throne room. Once he got there he saw someone sitting on the throne and right above him were paintings of Midna and Twila. But, by the way, it looks, it looks like they walked into the painting.
"Who are you?" Link demanded.
"You don't know who I am?'
Link shook his head.
"I am Yuga and I have come to take everything you love."
"What did you do to my wife and daughter?"
"I simply want to display their beauty," Yuga replied. "So I turned them into paintings."
"Change them back."
"No," Yuga replied. "That wouldn't be fun now would it."
Link looked down. "Then, if you won't change them back I'd have to destroy you."
"I'd like to see you try," Yuga sneered. "I've learned from my past mistakes so I'm not going to waste my magic on you because you would make an ugly painting."
Yuga grabbed the paintings and disappeared onto the wall and left. Link just watched helplessly as his wife and daughter were taken away.
How am I going to get them back? Link thought to himself. I can't just emerge into the wall as Yuga did.
Link walked to the mirror and opened it so he could go to the realm of light so he could research who this Yuga character is. When he walked through he went straight to Hyrule Castle. Once he got there one of the guards walked up to him.
"Link, welcome back," the guard said.
"Thanks, Colin," Link replied. "I need to see her majesty, Queen Zelda."
Colin nodded his head. "Of course follow me."
Link and Colin navigated the maze-like passages all the way to the throne room. Once they got there Zelda was sitting on her throne.
"Your Majesty, Sir Link needs to speak with you," Colin said. "He said it's an emergency."
"Of course, send him in," Zelda replied.
Link walked in the door and he bowed. "Your Majesty, I need your help."
Zelda looked at him. "Why, what's wrong?"
"It's Midna and Twila." Link replied, "They have been turned into paintings."
"By who?"
"Someone who calls himself Yuga." Link replied, "I was wondering where I've heard that name before."
"Ocil, would you please escort King Link to the Ancient Hylian Library."
Ocil nodded his head. "Of course Your Majesty."
"Follow me, King Link," Ocil said.
Link and Ocil walked in silence for a while.
"So what is the Twilight realm like?" Ocil asked.
"Well, it's an exact replica of Hyrule."
Ocil looked at him. "What do you mean an exact replica of Hyrule."
"What I mean is that the layout of the land is the same as it is here in Hyrule."
"So if I visited it then I would be able to navigate it easily."
"People like you can't visit the twilight realm." Link said, "Because you would just turn into a spirit just like when the twilight entered Hyrule."
"I don't really remember that much because I was just a child then."
"Oh."
"Well, we are here," Ocil said. "The Ancient Hylian Library."
"Can anyone enter here?" Link asked.
"No, only those whom the Queen approves," Ocil replied. "I hope you find out who Yuga is."
"Thank you, Ocil."
Once Ocil left Link started looking for something about turning someone into a painting. He searched and searched but to no avail, he didn't find anything.
I wonder where it's at. Link thought as he continued to search. After about three hours he finally found what he was looking for. The book had a picture of the Triforce of Hyrule and underneath was the shadow of the Triforce. He opened the book and saw the picture of Yuga and a princess that looks like Zelda except she has purple hair and red eyes. He looked at the description and found out the name of the princess was Hilda. She was the ruler of a kingdom called Lorule. This was in the era of the Hero of Two worlds. Yuga entered Hyrule to gather the seven sages of Hyrule and also Princess Zelda to revive Ganon. But, with the help of Ravio and Hilda Yuga was defeated and Link and Zelda wished for the restoration of the Triforce of Lorule.
I wonder if the bracelet that the hero of the two worlds used still exists. Link thought. Let me go ask Zelda.
Link left the Ancient Hylian Library and went to the throne room. Once he got there he saw that Zelda wasn't there. Instead, Yuga was standing there with a portrait of Zelda as well.
"It looks like you are too late," Yuga laughed.
"What are you going to use them for?" Link asked.
"I'm trying to revive Ganondorf whom you, Midna, Zelda, and the sages sealed away," Yuga replied. "But, instead of turning you into a painting, I knew that the heir of you and Midna will suffice as well instead of you."
"Why don't you take me instead of my daughter?"
"Well, you would make an ugly painting." Yuga said back, "Goodbye."
With that Yuga left. Link just stood there hopelessly. Ocil walked into the throne room to look for Zelda
"Link, where's her majesty, Queen Zelda," Ocil asked.
"Yuga turned her into a painting as well." Link replied, "He is trying to revive Ganondorf."
"That's not good news at all."
"I know but I need to find out where Ganondorf is before Yuga does."
"You may need the Master Sword again."
"I know that is where I am going right now," Link said as he ran out of the throne room.
Link ran all the way to Faron Province until he made it all the way to the lost woods. He easily navigated the lost woods until he came upon the Master Sword. Link walked up to the Pedestal and tried to pull Master Sword out. But, he couldn't even pull it out.
Why can't I pull it out? Link thought.
"It's because you are no longer a part of this realm," A voice said behind him. Link turned and saw a familiar wolf
"Kakau I need to use Master Sword because Yuga is trying to revive Ganondorf." Link said.
"You don't need the Master Sword to defeat Ganondorf."
"All you need to do is weaken him with your magic attacks and the sages and Zelda will seal him and Yuga in the Void of the Sacred Realm."
Link stopped to think about that for a moment. "But how will I free the sages and Zelda from the paintings."
"I could help you with that," Another voice said.
Link turned to see who it was. He saw a guy with blond hair and blue eyes. "And who are you?"
"I am Link, the Hero of the Two Worlds," He replied.
"How will you help me?" Link asked.
"With this," The hero of two worlds(I'm going to call him Icil) replied as he held up his wrist.
Link was shocked as to what he was looking at. It was the bracelet that he used to turn into a painting to defeat Yuga.
"So you still have that?" Link asked.
"No this was a gift from Hilda after the other one broke from her sending me and Zelda back to our world after I defeated Yuga Ganon
"How did she give it back to you when you touched the Triforce and wished for Lorule's Triforce to be restored shattered."
"Well let's just say that it was an anniversary gift."
"So you married Hilda?" Link asked.
Icil nodded his head, "Yes, I did and I was really happy."
"Let's get started right away."
The two hero's along with Kakau walked through Hyrule looking for an opening into Lorule.
"So what are we looking for?" Link asked.
"We are looking for a crack in a wall with mosaics around and darkness seeping through."
Link looked at him "You mean something like that."
Icil looked at the place where Link was looking.
"Yes, that is exactly what we are looking for."
"Good, so I put that on and I can turn into a painting." Link asked.
Icil shook his head. "No that won't work for this only allows me to turn into a painting. I'm just going to get my wife Hilda from her grave."
With that Icil turned into a painting and went through the crack and disappeared. Link and Kakau waited for a while for Icil to return.
"Why does Yuga want to revive Ganondorf?" Link asked Kakau.
"I'm not really sure," Kakau replied. "Unless he thinks that Ganondorf will help him take over Lorule."
"If that happens," Link said. "Then Ganondorf will come and take over Hyrule."
"You must stop him before that happens," Kakau begged.
"Don't worry Kakau, I will stop him before that even happens."
Link and Kakau stood in silence for a while when all of a sudden Icil returned with Hilda.
"So love is this the one you were talking about," Hilda asked Icil.
Icil nodded his head. "Yes, he is the one."
"So your name is Link as well?"
Link nodded his head. "Yes, and my wife and daughter along with Zelda of Hyrule got turned into paintings by a man calling himself Yuga."
"I am well aware of that. Let me just tell you this Yuga has not returned to Lorule he must be somewhere else in Hyrule."
All of a sudden there was an earthquake. Link struggled to stay on his feet. Once the tremors were over Link saw a pillar of darkness rising up in the west towards the desert.
"Oh no that's in the direction of the Arbiter's Grounds," Kakau said. "Ganondorf must have been buried there since he was born in the desert."
"Let's get over there quickly." Icil said, "How can we get over there quickly?"
Link looked to Icil. "I can teleport all of us there."
"How can you do that?" Hilda asked.
"I am the strongest magic user in the entire Twilight Realm and possibly here in Hyrule except for Ganondorf for he has been alive for longer than I have." Link replied, "Just gather close to me."
Everyone huddled close to Link and he concentrated his location to the Arbiter Grounds. When they opened their eyes they were in the Arbiter Grounds and standing right in front of them was Yuga surrounded by a whole bunch of paintings.
"Welcome, you are about to witness the resurrection of the King of Thieves," Yuga replied. "Together, he and I will rule the worlds."
With that, he knocked the paintings down and the seal on Ganondorf's tomb broke and someone walked out.
"At last the seal has been broken now I will finally get rid of the light of Hyrule once and for all."
