Chapter Thirty-One

Consequences

"I… I can – I was given to the Chantry at birth, but I learned many things in Orlais." She looked hesitant.

"Are you okay with killing the people trying to kill us?" I leaned back.

"I… well, I figure that I can stay back and just make Health Poultices; I'm an Alchemist…"

I shrugged, "Your potions got nothing on mine; not to mention we have two healers in our group. How about this – if you agree to keep to Redcliffe, then when we go for the Temple of Sacred Ashes, I'll bring you with. But you must keep to Redcliffe at all other times during this blight."

"The… the temple of… it would be an honor! I will agree to your terms and write to the Divine at once!"

People were gaping at me. Cullen asked, "You're really going to the Temple?"

"Isolde, I know you're listening – come, tell us; why do we need to go there?"

"Nothing else will wake Eamon…" she said softly.

"And why not?" I pushed.

"Between the poison and Connors deal with the demon… he will stay as he is, alive and unwell, forever otherwise."

I nodded, "And we need Eamon, so thus, we need the ashes."

Roselle looked excited, "You know where it is?"

"A name for the village, yes. But I need to visit a specific house in Denerim for a better location – and that's our next destination. I'll be sure to pick you up on our way back through. You have my word, Roselle. But as I said, if you aren't willing to fight, I can't risk you being with us as we get out treaties enacted."

She nodded like a bobble-head, "Of course, Lady Stormlight. I admit, I didn't have high hopes for this assignment, but… if we really find the Temple, I will consider my life complete."

I waved my hand, "Hold off on writing to the Divine. She will send a team and right now that temple is over-run by a Dragon Cult. The Ashes are safe, but the Dragon they worship has been allowed to breed so…"

She nodded, "That would be wise, then…" but I could see that she would still write to the Divine; this would be used as my test – was I really a seer?

But I could also tell that she was hiding something; she was lying about something, but I couldn't quite tell what.

Alistair came back with a plate of food. My eyes lit up when I saw a damn steak – rare, just as I liked it – with a side of green beans and mashed potatoes with butter.

"Thank you! This is perfect."

"I thought you needed sugar…?" Cullen asked.

"Sugar is good, yeah – but all food has natural sugars. Protein, like steak, and carbs, like potatoes, work just as well. Add in a helping of vegies and I will be good to go!"

Roselle asked, "So… what exactly happened that your condition got worse?"

Cullen stepped in to explain with my blessing while I ate. Roselle looked stumped, "How old are you?"

"10 and a half thousand – almost. I still got about a decade until then." I shrugged.

She looked ready to pass out, poor woman… I had that effect on people.

Daylen came sweeping in, "It's done – Demon tried to make a deal – with me! Can you believe that? Well I mean, you kind of warned me, so I guess you can… but really! I feel highly insulted!"

I snorted, "It was a desire demon, right? What did she offer?"

"That's what I don't get, commander – she offered me things I would never want. Position as Commander of the Grey, place as First Enchanter or even Grand Enchanter – I don't want that! Why would I want the headache of paperwork? Now if she offered me a chance to be with Morrigan – start a family, so on – that would have been tempting."

"She can't offer you things that you already have, Amell…" I said.

He blinked, "What?"

"You are already in a relationship with the brat – she can't offer you that. And Grey wardens suffer reduced fertility, yes, but it isn't impossible to conceive a child. You may get that wish sooner than you might think."

He smiled, "I… well, still – why would she offer me things I don't want?"

"Because you're already happy – it's why I picked you to go. She had nothing that could temp you. You have everything you could want."

Greagoir coughed, "A… that would be a good plan, actually. Against a desire demon, picking someone that has everything they want already…"

"And even if I weren't immune to demons, I would be perfect against despair and Pride demons. I've hit rock-bottom; despair can't do anything that hasn't already been done. Pride is useless against me because I had to work four times as hard as anyone to get where I am – I worked for it. I am already proud. Sloth would have been useless too – I can't stand sitting around doing nothing. Desire, however… now there is a demon that could have done something to me – hence why, when the tower fell, it was the only one to sense anything from me. To the others I was dead weight, but desire could sense me."

Cullen flushed at the memory, "I… remember that. But it couldn't do anything to you."

Daylen shot me a teasing grin, "What did it sense from you commander?"

"My desire for Cullen – he is rather handsome, no?" I smirked.

Teagan cleared his throat, "So… you are married to Alistair and Cullen… and your King?"

"I am – though, I would appreciate it if we kept this from Arl Eamon for the time being. Now, this is going to hurt, but I want you to pay close attention to what is about to happen, Roselle. I will only show you once because the penalty for doing this gets worse with each time that I have to do it… Carver – I'm sorry in advance." I wouldn't be able to take from Carver again for the duration of the Blight.

He looked confused before looking horrified as I swooped in and bit him. I had to get to the corner – blood seeped from my nose, eyes and mouth as I screamed in tormented pain. Sten looked intrigued; this was his first time seeing what happened when I took blood without permission.

I clawed at my throat – almost not realizing that I was tearing it out. I heard Roselle yell, "What… what is happening?"

No one answered her – too focused on the pain I was in, I couldn't answer either. Cullen exclaimed, "Iris…!"

When the pain subsided, I was lying in a small pool of blood in the corner of the room… most of it mine since I had barely taken anything from my pack-mate.

Finally, Carver spoke, "This… this is what happens when she takes blood from an unwilling donor, Revered Mother. You were told of her Dietary Needs, right? That she needs to drink a bit of blood once in a while… this is the result of her taking from someone that didn't give permission. She showed us before – this time looked far more painful than that time. Makers' Ass – I think I'm going to have nightmares about those screams. We won't be traveling tonight – she'll pass out here soon and be completely unable to wake for a few hours. I hope you remember this, Mother – she will not take from someone without permission. The thing is… she has to have permission every time; I gave her a standing invitation to take from me – I offered to be made her familiar… and this still happened. And to answer that question in your eyes, a Familiar is basically a blood-bond. I would produce more blood for her, I would gain an extra strength and such… and she would get the urge to protect me. It's a 'symbiotic' relationship, she says," I never realized – get Carver away from his older siblings and he was a chatterbox.

My bracelet was lit up. Alistair answered the wolf-head charm, "Genn?"

"Liam just collapsed while crying out 'Tara'. What in the void is going on?"

"Er… get Jaina and bring Anduin; Tara… she's not looking so good, Genn. Makers' Breath – she didn't even give us warning before proving to someone what happens when she… takes without permission. Her eyes are glassy – she seems completely out of it."

"… Who do I have to kill? This doesn't just hurt her – my son is empathetically… I'm on my way." Click.

Roselle was pale, "I… I never would have asked… I didn't know…"

Rulen spoke, "She did this so that you would tell the Chantry – so that she wouldn't have to prove it again… so that you would feel a bit safer. My sister is a Vampire too – but she wasn't a druid; nature doesn't punish her like this. By the Light… it's little wonder that Tara views herself as a monster – nature striking back at her for something beyond her control."

A portal opened – Genn, Anduin, and Jaina came through. Genn was carrying Liam while he was in his White Wolf form.

Rose shrank back, "I-I… I didn't ask her to do it! I swear!"

Genn lifted an eyebrow while looking at Alistair. Alistair said, "She did it so that the Chantry wouldn't try to go after her. This whole world is controlled by the Chantry – if the Divine says 'kill this person' then no one would stop until the person was dead. Mother Roselle is a liaison from the Chantry – here mostly to observe and report. I can't donate – she won't allow me to yet… and she won't ask it of Cullen after what he went through."

Anduin knelt and his hands began glowing. He flinched, "Her internal organs… 3 have ruptured, two are punctured and… By the Light… I have to heal her before we can give her blood. I'll donate – I've been trying to get to be her familiar for 2 years now. This will cinch it."

"How… does she take a familiar?" Rose asked softly.

"Take blood from the same person 3 times in a 6-month period. She's only done that with one person before – and their bond snapped when he nearly died. She's been so careful to never take blood more than twice from a person in the time frame. But I'm one of her mates – she has no real reason to deny having me be her familiar now." Anduin muttered as he began healing me.

Liam groaned, "Tara…"

Jaina looked sick, "She almost died… to prove a point."

Anduin looked distressed as he said, "Aunt Jaina… she didn't almost die – her heart has stopped twice since we got here. She did die."

Alistair shook his head, "No… she can't… we only just got her… we can't lose her now."

"I agree – a friend of mine; a priestess of Elune… she said that your 'Maker' has marked her and I'm almost positive that this is the only reason we haven't lost her."

Someone else stepped – floated – through the portal Jaina had left open. Tal-Inara – the Honored Voice.

"I have brought a bit of Anima – it is what the Eternal Ones survive on most."

"You have my thanks, Honored Voice," Anduin said, taking a vial from the Attendants' hand.

Anima… tasted so sweet; almost sickeningly sweet. I didn't like it – but I was too out of it to protest. Tal-Inara said, "This anima was collected by the Maw-Walker; Inas – he brings it to us to hold onto and some is set aside especially for his cousin."

Alistair spoke, "I uh – nice to meet you; I'm Alistair."

"I am Tal-Inara – honored voice of the Arbiter in Oribos," the serene voice spoke.

"Right – I know she was talking about contacting a 'Fate-Scribe' of some sort?"

"Roh-Tahl is the current head Fate-Scribe; he records everything and all records are known to him."

"Yes – she wished to know… if there was an afterlife associated with her; if she was pulled away from it and… how she ended up reincarnating so many times without going to the Shadowlands."

"Ah – we were also curious. We must trust that this is part of the Purpose. But we did discover some interesting things. I will have an attendant bring over copies of the records for her."

"Thank you, er… Honored Voice." The attendant nodded and headed back through the portal.

Roselle asked, "What was that?"

"He was an Attendant – that is all you need to know at this moment."

"No – not the… person… I mean the thing about Eternal Ones." She flushed at Jainas' Rebuke.

"Oh – Eternal Ones are overseers of the afterlives. If a soul is pure and selfless, they go to Bastion to ferry souls to the afterlife to be judged after death; if a soul is combative, they go to Maldraxxus, usually – to defend the Shadowlands from any who would destroy them; if a soul is bound to nature – animals, druids or such – they go to Ardenweald to help nature spirits regenerate and go back into the worlds; and if a soul is full of sins – Envy, Desire, Pride, Wrath and such – they go to atone in Revendreth. If a soul is completely irredeemable, they go to the Maw… Atarah is an Eternal One – but we do not know of her afterlife or if she even oversaw one before being sucked into reincarnation cycles." Alistair explained – startling Jaina and Anduin.

"And… the Makers' Afterlife?" Roselle asked hesitantly.

"I am unsure – Atarah has spoken of it once, but she didn't go into detail… she just said it was complicated. Anyway, this mostly just makes her an immortal that never truly dies. She's been born onto 4 different worlds at this point; each time with a new name. Point is – things with her are very… complicated." Aedan said.

Anduin nicked his wrist – not the vein, thankfully – and pressed it to my lips, "Drink, Iris – please…"

I wasn't in control – I was healed now, but it wouldn't have mattered who put their wrist to my lips; I had to drink… I had no choice. And after a 'meal' that consisted of a pint… I passed out.

When I woke, I was squished between three bodies just holding me. I was more than a little surprised. These men were all so terribly 'no homo' that I was worried about them being in the same room let alone the same bed.

Anduin was the first to notice, "Thank the Light – Iris…"

"I can feel the bond – you fed me again." I muttered.

"Mmmh – Alistair was sure you wouldn't take from him since you hadn't… er… been with him yet, and he was sure you would also not take from Cullen."

"I had no choice – no control. The moment your wrist touched my lips, I was gone, Andy."

"You died, Iris." Alistair rasped; Oh, Elune – he sounded… like he'd been crying.

"I didn't know that would happen…" I sighed.

Cullen shook his head, "You knew it would be bad – you knew it would hurt…"

"I had to do it – Roselle is bound to see me feed at some point; if she thinks it's all pleasure, all the time… she'll report that I'm a desire demon or something. And considering the vision I had in my sleep before then, I had to."

"What could possible make you do something like that?" Anduin asked.

"Elune… showed me a vision… from after the Blight… I won't let the Chantry harm my children, Anduin – our kids. You know any kid I have is all of ours – but I will not allow…"

"… So just a small case of death and you're right as rain – please don't do it again, but I can get behind that reasoning," Anduin sighed.

"After the Blight – how many…?" Alistair began.

"It was only one at that time – yours, actually. Since I was spending the most time with you over the course of the Blight. Not that it matters – the only reason I even know who the genetic father was… was because of a special birthmark on his hip."

Alistair coughed, "The dreaded bunny blob."

I laughed, "That has nothing on the Darkmoon Rabbits – you need a raid team of 40 people to kill one of those things… and that team better have at least 5 healers and 2 tanks."

Anduin sniggered, "Or just tell Iris that it took your cotton candy, like I did – that rabbit was dead in seconds."

"Maker – is that what rabbits are like in Azeroth?" Cullen looked pale.

"No – that' just the Darkmoon Rabbits; on a specific Isle that's only accessible once a month for a week. The other bunnies are fluffy and harmless – as they should be." I replied.

Anduin chuckled, "As to kids…"

"Elune says they'll all have birthmark identifiers – other than their dragon marks. Don't worry – we'll know who the heir to Stormwind is."

He shook his head, "Not what I was going to say – I don't care if they share my blood or not; I was going to ask… you said he?"

"Oh – yeah. A pretty cute little boy, if I do say so myself. Gonna have to beat women away with sticks; and even a few men. Why?"

"Just wanted to know how to decorate the nursery is all." He gave me a cheeky grin, "After all – the kid will be all of ours; so I assume that means he'll spend time in Stormwind each month or so."

"Hmm – true enough." I smiled.

Alistair hummed, "Likely, it's the only genetic kid I'll have – Grey Wardens suffer lowered fertility, after all."

I shook my head, "You think I'm going to let that continue? Not only wrong, but dead wrong. When the Blight is over, I plan 'unjoin' you from the Wardens. You know I can. I want a whole brood of children. That means that all of my mates should be able to provide them…" my smirk only grew when he flushed.

Anduin chuckled, "I agree – about wanting a whole brood, that is. What about you, Cullen?"

"I could… get behind that. Alistair?"

"You know damn well that all I've ever wanted is a family, Cullen. I grew up without one – I was just never in a position to have one before. A brood sounds nice."

"Then it's decided – though, will you be able to? Elves…"

"We already know my biology is different Anduin – I shouldn't have been able to have Asthan and Alstus – I wasn't even 10,000 yet; but I did. No one seems to have pieced that together yet. So… yes, I can have more children. Especially since Elune said I could."

"Ah – that's a good point. When Inas puts that together, he will go nuts."

I snorted at Anduins' words – I had told Alistair the same thing, hadn't I?

I stretched while still between my three husbands, "So… what made all of you decide to hop into bed with me?"

"Well, you know me – always so curious about wanting to try everything," Alistair quipped. I groaned, "Do not tease me like that – I happen to think two men being together sounds hot."

Anduin chuckled, "For men, it's the reverse."

"I will happily find that pirate in Denerim to bed if it means that I get to see two men together. At least the pirate – her name is Isabela – would happily agree to a one-night thing; she doesn't do relationships."

I heard all three men swallow hard – huh; I guess it was a fantasy for all three of them.

Anduin coughed, "To be honest, none of us wanted to let you go. You died, Iris – twice. Your heart stopped. I'm pretty sure one of the gods that are invested in your life had something to do with why you didn't… move on. Please don't do that again…"

Cullen nodded, "Hearing that we almost… lost you… well, we came to an agreement that this would be an exception. It's not like we're… disrobed or anything, anyway so…"

Alistair shrugged, "My suggestion – you know I would do anything to see you happy; and that smile on your face when you woke to see all three of us in your bed… so worth it."

I hummed, "Alistair… were you serious?"

"About…?"

"Just… the uh… curious nature you joked about." I actually had a light flush on my cheeks.

Alistair shrugged, "I admit – I've been wondering about it since that… since Jowan mentioned that Cullen was Bi."

I swallowed my tongue. Cullen snorted, "Jowan… I suppose he brought up my former crush on Daylen Amell?"

"Uh-huh," Alistair began petting my hair.

"Maker – that was the worst kept secret in the whole tower… second only to Amells' crush on me." Cullen rubbed his nose as he flopped onto his back.

I chuckled, "Daylen is a special little cookie. Okay – knowing this… Cullen, Alistair… do you find each other… attractive?"

Cullen snorted, "You know we trained together? Alistair was actually my first crush. Of course I find him attractive, Iris. I-I mean… I uh… shit."

Alistair gave a charming grin, "It's the hair, isn't it? Everyone loves the red-gold color."

I giggled and Anduin laughed, "By the Light – he's almost as bad as your cousin."

Alistair chuckled too, "Hey – I get it; admitting to your first crush that they were your first crush is always embarrassing – lucky for us, it plays very well into our conversation. Maybe one of these days, we can see if that will go anywhere – according to the Mother here; Mother Hannah… us all marrying Iris means we married each other too."

Anduin chuckled, "Forgive me if I don't act on that – I have no interest in either of you."

"That's okay – you're far too tall and shiny to catch my eye," Alistair quipped back.

I was laughing so hard by this point that I snorted. And everyone knows that snorting makes the thing funnier somehow. I managed to calm enough to say, "You know, I always call you blonde – even in my head… I mean, I noticed the red back when we were at Ostagar, but the red only shows in the light… I forget it's there since we travel at night mostly."

"Yeah – mostly blonde; I get that from Maric… I have to assume my mother is the red-head."

"Nu-uh – her hair is so black that it absorbs light. You have her eyes, but that is it. Actually, it was Moira Theirin that had the red hair. Well… more like yours – it was red-blonde. Paintings depict her with red hair, but witness accounts say more… blonde than red. You have only your moms' eyes; nothing else. Which, if you ask her, is a good thing since she is a Warden Elven Mage – technically, you should never see the throne; but the lies that Maric and Eamon spread that your mother was a serving girl here – and Goldanna believing you are her brother and eventually trying to use it – will make people think anyone who tells the truth is fucking crazy."

Alistair beamed at me, "Will I ever meet her? My mother, I mean…"

"Oh yeah – if I have to drag her away from the things she will be doing later, I will; you'll meet her."

"Thank you – for making Duncan tell me about my mother in the first place. He told me that you… he would never have told me if you hadn't 'all but sat him down and made him'."

I went red, "I did not! All I did was ask hm to! I may have mentioned that you needed to know due to a vision, but…"

Cullen interrupted, "You're Mage-Blooded? No wonder you were forced into the Templars!"

"Even better, our son won't have magic – Thedas or Azeroth – so no one can bitch about him being on the throne." I yawned – I was still tired.

Cullen actually smiled a little, "I… it will sound bad, but I'm glad."

"Yeah – no, I get it. You aren't ready for a child with magic. But know this – any child I have will be a dragon. Something happened to my twin boys to cause them to lose that part of themselves, but now that I know…"

"A Dragon – but no magic?" Anduin asked.

"Yeah – well; mostly. He'll be able to turn into a dragon, but even the innate magic that comes from his coloring won't be present. That will be due to the Magic Resistance bred into the Theirin Blood-line."

I moved so that I could take a turn curling into Anduin – the most patient man alive, in my opinion. He wrapped his arms around me.

Alistair spoke, "So… please don't do that again?"

I sighed, "I'll try not to – though, having a familiar and potential for constant feeding, my body may not lash back as much if I do. But I will try to avoid it. Do you have any idea how much I wish that I could sequester the 4 of us away for a honeymoon?"

My change in subject didn't even phase Anduin or Alistair; both men had spent enough time with me to sort of expect it.

Cullen sighed, "It… might be nice to just have a few weeks alone."

Anduin nodded, "When this thing in the Shadowlands is over – the Jailer defeated – and the Blight here is over… perhaps we could."

"Speaking of – what is Inas' status?"

"Ardenweald – trying to get things settled so that the Winter Queen will sit still long enough to listen to him. He wants to know 'who is in the Wild Seed and why did it bond to him of all people?'"

I smiled, "The Dreamer."

Anduin shot upright, "Ysera?"

I nodded, "Inas would learn soon enough – but it's Ysera; mother of the Green Dragon Flight. She will be of great aid to Inas in saving Ardenweald… tell him that I wouldn't tell you, though. He can't know until the time is just right or the Winter Queen won't save her."

"Very well, my love – I dislike lying, but to save Ysera, I will. Now… it seems to be about noon."

My eyes widened, "Only noon?"

"My queen… you were asleep for a full day – so no, not 'only noon'."

Alistair cleared his throat, "We are ready to move at your command though."

"We'll leave… tomorrow night. I'm still too weak to move today."

Anduin kissed my cheek, "Do you need more blood?"

"I want to say no, but I never want to lie to my mates." I pouted. Cullen cleared his throat, "I-I… I would like to… donate this time."

I blinked at him in surprise, "You… do?"

"Well – I've been thinking about it since I first learned of it. Daylen said that the bite is… pleasurable and…"

I smiled, "Then when we… go to bed… it's better when done during… making love."

He flushed and Anduin cleared his throat – also red – while nodding.

Alistair swallowed and said, "Would you make me your familiar too?" he pulled me into his lap. Anduin let me go.

I bit my lip, contemplating. It would be better to have more than one Familiar… I sighed, "I suppose – but I won't bite…"

"Until after we have our wedding night; I know." He smiled.

"And that will only happen when you are ready; we're married now, but we won't be sharing a bed until you tell me that you're ready."

He kissed my temple, "I know."

Anduin grinned, "She was the same with me – she did offer to sleep with me on my 18th birthday; back when she was still not… allowing me to court her or marry her. I told her if she married me, then I could get there anyway."

I snorted at the memory, "I believe I told you to stuff it, pushed the gift into your hand and walked away."

"And here we are – I'm still wearing the gift, too." He motioned to the gold and silver Void-Storage earring in his left ear. It had been a special commission – all other Void-Storage items were purple and black. That was how Sylvanas missed it.

"I really do love a man with piercings."

Alistair smirked, touching the ring in his own ear. Cullen sighed, "Never thought I would regret turning that down."

My eyes shot to him, "Who offered to pierce your ear?"

"Ears – my mother offered when I turned 5; all of my siblings have their ears pierced. I was the only one to say no."

I chuckled, "I can fix that if you want. But honestly, you're fine the way you are."

He smiled shyly. Alistair said, "Oh – uh… Liam er… he was in a bad way, Iris…"

I stiffened and looked at Anduin, "What?"

"Liam was in and out of consciousness – he was in so much pain; it was like his heart would give out if he experienced just a bit more pain. Genn was beside himself – terrified the Mother when it was said that she was the reason you did this. He was in Wolf Form the entire time."

"L-Liam… I almost… killed Liam?" I was horrified. I'd had to do it – Liam hadn't even died when I died…

Anduin nodded solemnly, "You died twice yesterday, my love – each time your heart stopped, Liam got worse. I think… I think each death of yours increases the connection between you two. If you died again… Liam might not survive it. We already discovered that he shares your immortality – he hasn't aged a day since Gilneas fell. You die – he dies."

I was pale – I hadn't intended this… "Genn must hate me now…"

"Not at all – when he heard you were doing it to prove to the Chantry… well, he blamed it all on the religious chapter here."

"The Divine is not going to want the blame for this – she'll push it all on Roselle even though Rose didn't ask. I'd had a vision though; I wasn't going to let them…"

"Hey – I get it. Just don't do it again. Liam won't survive it if you do and… honestly, if we lost you… Iris; I love you. I have waited for you since I was 14… I've lost my father, my mother… I can't lose you. Please don't ask that of me. Please…" Anduins' voice broke… and broke my heart with it.

I sighed, "I didn't know it would kill me, Andy. I just wanted to protect…"

"Loyal to a damn fault. You'd die for your family; we know. But we're selfish – we love you… please…"

I nodded, "If it can be avoided… with me doing it this time, Roselle will report to the Chantry that it happens like that. I won't need to prove it again here. I'm pretty sure almost everyone in Thedas will know about my diet and how it's permission only by the end of 9:33 Dragon. On that note, Tevinter…"

Cullens' face darkened, "What do we need to know about them?"

"They may see Azeroth as a life-line. We won't be doing any trade with them for the time being… they deal in slaves, Anduin."

"That's just unacceptable. I will ignore all requests from Tevinter for an alliance – though I may meet with them. I want to see just what kind of scum thinks that living people are property."

I nodded, "They sacrifice those slaves to augment their power – blood mages."

"It sounds like the worshipers of Hakkar the Blood Loa – or Blood Trolls or… hmm… noting that none of those factions are on good terms with the Alliance or the Horde should speak volumes."

"Venthyr is the best I can describe them – prideful, arrogant, overly opulent, living in a place that's only held together by magic, and let's not forget the soul-sucking aspect while making others feel completely inferior or irrelevant 'for their own good'. The difference is that the Venthyr are meant to punish the souls of the sinful – Tevinter does it to boost their own egos. It's my opinion that more than a quarter of Tevinter is going to Revendreth for actively participating. I know two Altus/Magisters that won't – both are against blood magic and actively try to make Tevinter better. Anyway… someone get me some food? I haven't eaten in more than 24 hours by your words."

Alistair shot out of the bed and headed for the door, "I'll get you something."

I smiled – he was so eager. Anduin chuckled, "I get the feeling that one will make Cullen and I look bad often."

Cullen snorted, "He evens it out by cracking cheesy jokes."

"Ah – so we still have a chance."

I roared in laugher.
