Hi, everyone! I hope you all enjoy this story as much as I did while writing it. Please feel free to review, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Let's start with the story, shall we?*
Chapter 33
Hosu City…
They hardly arrived when trouble already started to brew. They arrived at the branch office of Endeavor's agency, the officers informing them that there was trouble downtown and that there were villains that appeared.
"You're kidding. We barely came here and they're already rampaging," Mizuki thought aloud as she heard the news. She could hear the coms going off, people calling in for help because they were overwhelmed and heroes being dispatched to the areas as soon as possible.
"It seems that we're going to have a busy night," Shoto spoke up next to her, Mizuki sweat dropping at his stoic response. That was what he took from everything that was going on currently? This guy was strange.
"There's trouble! Follow me!" Endeavor ran past them, some of his sidekicks joining his side. Mizuki and Shoto gave each other a look and ran off. Neither of them had expected that they would be dragged into a villain attack.
Mizuki felt a bitter taste enter her mouth. It brought back very unwanted memories from USJ and everything that happened. They all managed to survive but the cost had been much too great for everyone. She could feel some of her already healed injuries itch at the thought.
However, it was different now, right? They came here to investigate the Hero Killer and trace his movements. It would seem that his actions are what stirred the actions of the villains that attacked the city.
"I want you two to look closely! I'll show you what it means to be a hero!" Endeavor stated as they ran behind him, Mizuki's eye twitching. This man… He was arrogant, cocky and thought way too much of himself. It was much worse than her brother and she made a mental note to kill her twin if he ever turned out to be like him.
They both felt their phones vibrate Mizuki raising an eyebrow. "A text? It's from Midoriya," Shoto said and Mizuki blinked in surprise. Izuku texted him? She pulled out her own phone, the two briefly stopping. She also received a text.
"It's just his location…" Shoto trailed off, his brows furrowing while Mizuki swallowed thickly. She also only received a location. What was going on? Izuku would never send something without explanation, except.
"He's in trouble!" Mizuki exclaimed, eyes flashing with panic and her blood running cold within her veins. The location wasn't far from them, they should be able to reach it if they hurried fast enough. Hopefully in time.
"Don't look at your phone! Look at me!"
"I'll go," Shoto said and before Mizuki could argue, he put a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry. I'll be sure to give him the help he needed. You stay with him." Shoto pointed at Endeavor who was completely ignored.
"Don't screw with me! This is my best friend! You want me to just leave a message like this?! Why should I stay with Prickhead?!" Mizuki asked, Endeavor exclaiming at the insult that was directed towards him.
"Mizuki, leave this to me," Shoto's tone was earnest, his eyes gleaming with determination. He silently begged her to comply. She was strong, he knew that, but a part of him didn't want to see her in the same state as she was at USJ. Unfortunately, he knew she would be safe with the number two hero.
Mizuki gritted her teeth, clenching her fists as she grabbed the male by his collar and pulled him close to her. "You better come back with Izu-kun in one piece, you understand, Ice Bastard?!" Mizuki threatened, her eyes telling another story that made Shoto's eyes widen briefly.
He nodded and smiled reassuring to her. Mizuki let him go and watched as he ran off, Endeavor calling and reaching out towards his son. He didn't have the slightest clue of what was going on between the two.
"I'm heading to an alleyway at 4-2-10 Ekou Street. If you finish what you're doing or find any free pros, send them there. I'm leaving you to take care of the trouble. I'm sure you'll be able to resolve it quickly. Keep an eye on Mizuki. I'm going to help a friend," Shoto said and Mizuki scoffed.
"I don't need a baby sitter!" She snapped at him, her heart giving a squeeze. She was going to kill him if he let Izuku get hurt. She was going to kill him if he got hurt. In conclusion, a lot of people were going to die if they got hurt.
"Endeavor!"
The flame hero was called and he clicked his tongue in irritancy. He didn't have time to get Shoto and figure out what was going on in that boy's mind. "Follow me, brat!" He told Mizuki and the ash blonde growled.
"You're the slow one here, Old Man!" She snapped back at him, keeping up with his movements as her heartbeat thumbed loudly in her chest. She clenched her fists by her side, mixed feelings rushing through her system.
That idiot! We're not allowed to engage in combat. What is he thinking going off on his own?! Not to mention Izu-kun… You better stay safe! She thought and bit the inside of her cheek as a loud explosion erupted on their right side.
She heard yelling from civilians, her eyes shooting towards were they stood before her eyes widened in horror. No. Please no. It wasn't possible. It had to be a nightmare. The creature wasn't the same. It couldn't be.
A Nomu.
"Evacuate the civilians and make sure that there are no injuries. Those who are harmed must be taken to the hospital immediately," Endeavor told his sidekicks and received a curt reply before they shot off.
"As for you." He looked at Mizuki and frowned. "Don't get in my way." He ran off and Mizuki stood there dumbstruck. She gritted her teeth, sparks appearing all over her body in frustration and anger. How dare he?!
A couple shouted out in fear as a Nomu appeared in front of them and Mizuki blasted off with a large explosion on her feet. She blasted past Endeavor, the male's eyes widening as he watched her move in front of the couple.
"Hold on!" Mizuki grabbed them each around their middle and let out an explosion beneath her feet in time to miss the onslaught of the Nomu. She glanced down, a fire attack shot towards the Nomu from Endeavor.
"He's slow!" Mizuki said with irritancy. She used smaller explosions to make her landing softer and gently helped down the couple. "Are you alright? Are you hurt?" She asked, looking them over for possible traces of damage.
"N-No, thank you!"
"Good, you need to get out of here as soon as possible. I need you to help anyone that are struggling to get away. Go to the nearest police station," Mizuki told them and they nodded, running off without asking any more questions.
"Not too bad. Your instincts and reaction time is impressive," Endeavor said, Mizuki glaring at him as he smirked. He enjoyed watching her temper flare, the spark in her eyes making it a challenge to want to anger her.
There was a cry from the Nomu, Mizuki's eyes widened. It was obviously scorched but still seemed to be in fine condition. On the other side of the Nomu was another hero, a short older male wearing a white and yellow costume. Who was he? When did he get here?
"Oh? Even though I used a lower temperature as a warning, this is the first time anyone's been able to stay conscious after being on the receiving end," Endeavor said with a mocking smirk, Mizuki taking a step back.
"Don't let him fool you. This thing's called a Nomu. It has more than one Quirk," Mizuki informed the flame hero, the pro heroes' eyes widening. "It resembles the thing that came after us at USJ." She frowned deeply.
Mizuki's eyes widened when the creature's head twitched before smoke shot out from his body. The ash blonde female jumped back in time, crimson eyes protected with her arms. The heat that it expelled was immense.
"Absorption and release, huh? But since the damage from the absorption remains means it's just a small fry's Quirk!" Endeavor said, the creature then morphing, its body becoming bigger as it pounced.
"Watch out, Todoroki!" The older hero called out, Mizuki watching with wide eyes as the creature's tongue shot out, the organ growing. Endeavor held out his hand, the older male shooting out at incredible speed.
Mizuki watched with amazement as the old pro hero shot a hole through the creature's tongue. He then hit the creature in the back, slamming it into the pavement below, causing a small crater to form.
"I cracked the road… It's been a while, so my control's not great…" The old pro hero said, Mizuki staring with wide eyes. Who was this guy? She had never seen him nor had she ever heard anything about him before. He was strong.
"Huh, you're not bad, honoured elder," Endeavor complimented the older male, Mizuki's brows twitching. He was acting as if he actually had manners. A rumble from the other side of the city reached their ears, smoke emerging.
"There should be a lot of heroes gathered over there. It's been at least two or three minutes. Even though they're all gathered there… Good grief!" Endeavor sneered and Mizuki found herself agreeing with him. What were they doing?
"Let's restrain this guy quickly and turn him over to the police so we can go help!" The older male said, his eyes travelling towards Mizuki. He recognized her from the sports festival, the young prodigy that showed promise and skills in using her Quirk.
"Leave that villain to my sidekicks." Mizuki and the older man looked back at Endeavor. "Honoured elder, go to the address I'm about to give you. I, Endeavor, will be sufficient support for those over there by myself," Endeavor said.
"What about your intern? Don't you think it's too dangerous to have a student joining the danger?" The old pro hero asked, Endeavor frowning while Mizuki eyed the male with interest. He recognized her as a student.
Sorahiko Torino
Hero Name: Gran Torino
Quirk: Jet
"She will help evacuate the civilians and aid help to the injured. She will be sufficient enough to stand her own ground," Endeavor replied and Mizuki was shocked. Did he just give her an indirect compliment? Surely, she was hearing things.
Endeavor gave the older man the address, the pro hero moving at incredible speed. She observed the cracked road, swallowing thickly. He used a great amount of velocity and even held back in doing so.
"Brat, let's go!" Endeavor was already on his way, running at full speed towards the burning area where smoke polluted the air. Mizuki let loose a large explosion from her feet and hands, shooting towards him.
"I thought I shouldn't get in your way. You quickly changed your tone back there," Mizuki pointed out as she ran right behind him, smoke coming from the soles of her boots after she tried to catch up with him.
"Don't get full of yourself, brat. If you get in my way, you'll pay the consequences. Make sure that you do as you are told," Endeavor said and Mizuki rolled her eyes. He was still acting like an asshole. So much for compliments.
The area where the heroes fought were a few more Nomu but there were more of the black ones this time. The grey Nomu seemed to be much weaker than the black ones. Especially since it was a black one that fought equally against All Might.
Endeavor took a single step, Mizuki's eyes widening at the way the flames on his feet nearly melted the ground. He shot off at an incredible speed, Mizuki letting out a chocking sound as the shockwave hit her.
"That little-!" Mizuki heard a shout on her side and saw a woman buried underneath a slab of concrete, a little boy crying next to her. She ran towards the two, eyeing everything around her to make sure there were no villains around.
"Mommy! Someone! Help!"
"Watch out!" Mizuki called out as the concrete above the boy cracked, soon falling towards the boy. She dug her feet into the ground and exploded towards the boy, her arm wrapped around him as she pulled him close to her, her other hand above her as she let out an explosion to blow the concrete to pieces.
The boy's eyes were wide as he looked at the female who saved him, teary eyes shining. He sniffed, body trembling. His mother stared at Mizuki, eyes wide and her own tears streaming down the side of her face.
"Are you alright?" Mizuki asked bending down to look over his body. He cried, tears falling down his cheeks as he sobbed. He tried to wipe away the tears but the more he wiped away the more he cried.
"M-Mommy! H-Help M-Mommy!"
"Hey, Big Guy," Mizuki gave him a small smile and put a hand on his head. "You don't have to worry anymore. The heroes are here to help. Will you do me a favour? Will you stand back while I help your mommy?" She asked and he sniffed with a nod.
"D-Don't worry about me… P-Please just take my son," the female spoke up from beneath the rubble that lay on top of her. Mizuki frowned deeply. She didn't have the strength to lift up the concrete nor did she have a quirk to lift it.
"He's your son, right?" She looked up at Mizuki. "Then you better live to see him grow up," Mizuki told her sternly, her eyes widening and tears streaming freely. She nodded in reply, too emotional to find words.
Mizuki went to lay on her back, legs pushed against the slab of concrete. "You better grit your teeth and cover yourself!" Mizuki told the female. She was quick to comply, the female covering her head with her arms.
Alright, let's try this! Mizuki heated up her legs, steam emerging from the limbs. She inhaled deeply, her legs reaching a very bright colour before she let loose a large explosion. It resulted in the debris being blown upwards and away, the concrete slab in pieces.
Mizuki lifted up the female as quickly as possible, slinging her arm around her shoulder. She walked towards the small boy who was bawling his eyes out. His mother opened her eyes and stumbled over her own two feet towards him, letting go of Mizuki.
"My little boy!"
"Mommy!"
They cried as they held each other, Mizuki nodding in approval. The woman seemed to be doing fine. She showed not injury on her legs and a few cuts on her head that weren't too deep. It seemed as though they would be able to get away in their own.
Mizuki's eyes travelled towards where a black Nomu was causing chaos. They attacked him with everything they had, no one making any sign of damage. The Nomu slammed its fist into the ground, a shockwave hitting the heroes.
Mizuky felt her heart stop as a black Nomu appeared next to one of the heroes. She was in danger. However, before anyone could predict what would happen, Endeavor came and hit the black Nomu away with the hit of his fist.
H-He's strong…
Her eyes narrowed onto the male. His Quirk was impressive. Hell Flame allowed him to produce and manipulate large amounts of extremely intense fire at will. He showed incredible control of his Quirk but he had incredible strength as well.
"U-Um, excuse me," Mizuki looked down at the female as she tugged at her clothing. "Thank you… Um, what's your name?" The female asked, Mizuki's eyes briefly widened. The question had the wind blowing passed her, a smile soon forming on her lips.
"I'm Nova."
"We have civilians here!" One of the heroes called as they ran over towards the mother and her son, Mizuki standing by their side. The male pro hero and his companion came over, each with worried expressions.
"I managed to get her out from underneath a concrete slab. She doesn't seem to have any deep wounds or bruises," Mizuki informed them, receiving perplexed expressions. They were looking for other type of answers.
"You're an intern, aren't you?" The one pro hero asked and Mizuki nodded. "Thank you for your help. We'll take things from here. You can look around and help the others to find any possible civilians."
A bright light flashed in Mizuki's vision, her gaze going towards Endeavor. He had Nomu's head in his hands, his flames colouring to blue as he completely scorched the creature's brain. The creature fell down with a sick thumb and Mizuki swallowed thickly.
This was the power of the number two hero.
Meanwhile…
"Hey, hey, why are these Nomu so weak?" Shigaraki glowered as he clenched his fingers as he stared around him, looking at the Nomu's that fell mercilessly. Endeavor's arrival already caused the downfall of two Nomu's.
"Shigaraki Tomura. It seems that we have another unwanted visitor," Kurogiri spoke up and stood on the bad end of a dangerous glare. "That girl from USJ, she's here." Shigaraki's eyes snapped towards the scene, eyes darting around until he found his target.
He stared at her, taking in her appearance. It was her. The same girl that caused him great trouble. The same girl that received third place at the sports festival. Why was she here? Hadn't she already been troublesome enough?!
His anger came to a half as he recalled the photo he had. It was of the green haired male, the ash blonde female standing beside him with a big grin. They had a close relationship…he wondered what would happen if she disappeared.
"I wonder what would that Eraser hero would do if something happened to her while she was out of his protection," Shigaraki said with a sinister smile. Kurogiri watched the young male as he chuckled darkly.
"Shigaraki Tomura. Don't you think it would be wise to keep her alive?" Kurogiri asked, staring at the female. "She seems to have something that could be of value towards us." Shigaraki whined, bobbing his head side to side.
"Why? Why? She's a pest! I should just eliminate her now!"
"With Endeavor helping out to fight alongside the other pro heroes, it wouldn't prove to be possible," Kurogiri replied calmly. Shigaraki clicked his tongue in irritancy as he scratched his neck vigorously.
He wanted to get rid of all his problems. She wanted to get rid of her. He wanted to see the heroes despair when they were unable to protect her. He wanted to gift them with horror. Gift… Ah, he could send them a gift.
"O-kay, then Nomu… Go and play her…"
The black Nomu that was next to him jumped off and bulldozed on his way to where the pro heroes were. Shigaraki started to chuckle, it soon turning into an uncontrollable laughter as he felt ecstasy boil within his veins.
"I'll sent them a little present! Something that would make their skin crawl with anger and frustration. If she dies then it's all the better!" Shigaraki laughed, his companion merely standing silently by his side.
"Those heroes with Quirks that aren't effective against the villain, go to Ekou Street, District four to help there! I don't know if there's a villain there but I'm counting on you!" Endeavor told the other heroes, Mizuki finishing helping with the civilians.
"Watch out!"
A Nomu came flying by them, his feet holding an unconscious hero. Endeavor was quick to ran after it and changed his path by jumping onto a building. The temperature in his feet heightened as he melted the walls, running vertically towards the creature.
He made a flaming spear and threw it straight towards the head of the Nomu. It cut through, the Nomu letting go of the pro hero as it flew away scathed. Endeavor was able to catch the hero, digging his flames into the road and melted everything beneath him.
"Geez, didn't that guy ever hear about keeping damage to the minimal…" Mizuki muttered underneath her breath. She hated to admit it, but he was fast, using his Quirk in a way that made him overpowering against the creatures.
"Brat!" Mizuki's eyes widened when the pro hero was shoved into her hands. "I'm not letting the creature get away! Make sure you get him medical attention!" He ordered and ran off towards the injured Nomu.
"I have an injured hero this side!" Mizuki turned around, calling towards the few heroes that stayed behind to help. One of the heroes came running over towards her. She gave him a grateful look as he took the male.
The male's hero costume consisted of a blue and white, skin-tight, long-sleeved shirt that tucked into his orange gloves. He wore dark pants, white boots and wore a signature helmet that featured a fish-like fin and blue visor.
Masaki Mizushima
Hero Name: Manual
Quirk: Water Manipulation
"Thank you," he said and took in the girl's appearance for the first time. "You must be the Intern working at Endeavor's agency. I'm glad that you helped us. Did you maybe see one of your classmates on your way over here?" Mizuki's brows furrowed.
"Who's your intern?"
"Iida Tenya." Mizuki's eyes widened, everything starting to click into place inside her mind. Hosu City. Hero Killer. Iida. He took an internship close to where his brother was gravely injured and then disappear amidst the chaos.
"That little shit!" Manual paled as Mizuki suddenly fumed. "I told him not to do anything stupid! Why don't anyone listen to me! If he dragged Izu-kun in his mess, I'm going to murder him!" She threatened, the pro hero giving her a look of disbelief.
"You-"
The wind next to Mizuki blew, a shiver running down her spine as the hair on the back of her neck went erect. She could smell the bloodlust in the air, her mouth running dry when she made eye contact with a pair of beady eyes.
Shit.
Mizuki let lose an explosion as she took to the skies to avoid a blow from the back creature. It jumped up to attack her again, Mizuki twirling in the air and landing a few feet away. She managed to receive no damage.
"There's another one?!" Manual cried out, a few of his companions running up to his side. This situation was bad, Endeavor already went off on his own to finish off a Nomu that got away. They basically didn't have any firepower and not to mention there were many heroes who were injured.
"Kid, get away from here! We'll handle this!" A pro hero called out towards her, his bull horns ready to strike the creature. "Make sure to get the injured away from this area!" He added and Mizuki briefly hesitated.
The moment she froze was the moment the Nomu struck. She jumped out of the way, propelling herself faster to dodge. The pro heroes stepped in place, attacking the black creature with what they had left.
"Leave this to us," Manual said after he gave the injured pro hero to one of his sidekicks that ran off. Mizuki watched as he used water that ran from the sidewalk to strike the villain and stood up, fists clenched tightly.
It was frustrating.
She was about to walk away, the back she had turned leaving a bitter taste in her mouth. She wasn't a pro hero yet. She couldn't fight alongside them even though they were giving their absolute all. She was still a student and needed to listen to the rules.
There was a loud cry behind her, crimson eyes widening in horror when she saw the bull male's horns broken off. He was thrown towards the side, hitting another hero as a result. Its beady eyes stayed glued to her.
Mizuki found herself smirking as her body trembled. What the hell is this? They're all getting injured to keep everyone safe but if they lose who's going to protect them? She thought, the Nomu charging through the pro heroes straight towards her.
"You aren't allowed to engage in any type of actions without permission from the pro hero you do your internship at. None of you are heroes yet and the pro heroes have custody over you. Acting irrational will cost you…"
She knew that. Damn it! She knew she had to follow orders! She knew and yet she couldn't bring herself to move away from her spot. She needed to do something! If she ran away with her tail between her legs, then what future hero would she be?!
"Get out of here!"
Mizuki took to the skies with a large explosion, glaring at the Nomu. To her surprise, he tried to follow her. He jumped onto the building's wall, its hands and feet digging into the breaking before it advanced.
He's going after me. Great. Mizuki thought and smirked. She held her hand up in the air and let loose another explosion, causing everyone to look at her. "Come and get me!" She shouted at the Nomu and then exploded away.
She could hear the calls from the pro heroes behind her, her eyes only concentrating on the creature that followed her. Its tenacity was endless. She had to let loose larger explosions as it started to near her.
If I can remember correctly, that old man went this way… Mizuki thought as her eyes looked around in search for the male. Her instincts roared behind her and she moved to the side just in time to dodge a piece of concrete that was thrown towards her.
"You're shitting me."
To add upon her disbelieving statement, its muscles bulged. It dug its heels into the building and launched off towards Mizuki. She was about to move herself away, but it managed to grab her leg with a near crushing grip.
Shit! Mizuki was thrown towards the ground, the Nomu aiming to slam her into the concrete. Mizuki growled and heated up her leg. She pushed the temperature as high as possible until its hand was scorched.
She managed to get free, yet, it didn't slow her momentum. She crashed into one of the alleyway's, hitting the brick wall as the creature crashed into the building next to it. Mizuki coughed, rubbing her sore head as she was briefly disorientated.
The impact wasn't near the grade of strength the Nomu had back at USJ. It was slower too. It seemed like the black creatures all differed in strength and if he was much weaker, it meant that she could defeat it.
"Brat, what are you doing here? Didn't I tell you to help evacuate the civilians and injured?" Endeavor's voice reached her ears and Mizuki opened up her eyes. She looked straight at the flaming hero and nearly chipped a tooth.
"I was! Until another Nomu came attacking everyone!" She snapped at him, stepping out of the wall and dusting herself off. "I managed to lure it away from the injured. For some reason, its fond of wanting to kill me."
Endeavor frowned down at Mizuki. She made a good decision by luring the creature away but it still put her own life at risk. "Why did you lure it this way?" He asked, Mizuki smirking as she cracked her knuckles.
"I want permission to fight it." Her statement was absurd. She came all the way here to gain permission from him to fight against the Nomu? He watched as adrenaline stirred her on, eyes gleaming with excitement.
"Don't be ridicules-" The creature emerged, grabbing Mizuki by her head. Endeavor was about to counter, his brows furrowing when he noticed the position it held the female. If he used his flames, he would burn her along with it.
Mizuki punched the creature through its face and tried to loosen his grip. It was no use. She was no match against it when it came to brute strength. She could only fight against it if she could only use her Quirk.
"Endeavor! I would really appreciate it if you stopped being so stubborn!" Mizuki yelled out towards the pro hero as she was dragged through the road next to the alleyway. She gritted her teeth as she felt her body ache but the pain was bearable.
"Do you have a plan?!"
"WHAT KIND OF-? YES! I have a plan!" Mizuki nearly lost her temper at the male's question. This wasn't the time to assess her battle strategies! She felt sudden immense pressure on her body as the ground beneath her cracked.
Gravity? This thing can manipulate gravity?! She gasped out as she was pressed deeper into the ground, her one eye cracking open. N-No, he's using wind pressure to push me into the road. She thought and held tightly onto the creature's hand, glaring at him with as much menace as she could muster.
"Then you better get rid of that nuisance!"
Mizuki smirked as she heard Endeavor's voice call out towards her. It was about damn time that he made up his mind. Mizuki looked at the creature, its beady eyes twirling uncontrollably as it pushed her down.
"I don't plan on losing this time, Freak. I hope you like burnt brain cells for dinner!" Mizuki shouted out towards it as she grabbed its head with her hands. She resisted to hurl at the feel of its brains and rose the temperature in her arms.
Mei, I hope that this new costume works! Mizuki thought and gritted her teeth as she increased her sweat rate. Her grip on its brain tightened as it pushed her deeper into the ground, its other hand moving but it was too late.
"White Explosion!"
A large white explosion erupted from her arms as it pierced through the creature's head, burning away what it came in contact with. The light exploded from the area, Endeavor covering his eyes at the brightness.
Mizuki breathed heavy, her arms and hands stinging from the explosion. The creature fell on top of her and she shoved it away with much disgust. She stared at it, the Nomu unmoving and not responding.
She smirked and managed to stand up, red eyes blazing. She plucked off one of the grenades on her back, the cooling system activated. She felt a cool sensation across her entire body, her arms and leg immediately treated, steam emerging.
I managed to push the temperature high as possible without causing long term damage. It still hurts, but it's better. She thought, relieved that her body was able to handle the power. She then looked up at Endeavor's impassive expression and smirked.
"Thanks for the permission," she said, confidence laced in each word. Endeavor found himself smirking. This girl. She used his previous technique and incorporated it with her own Quirk, giving her enough advantage to defeat the Nomu. She was an incredibly fast learner and she was quick to think on her feet.
There was screeching that reached their ears and they were off, running off towards the Nomu's sounds. Endeavor's pursuit towards the creature hadn't ended quite yet. It was still flying around somewhere.
"Why are you standing in a group? The villain should've escaped this way," Endeavor scolded the group of heroes they caught sight off as they ran out into the street. The group of pro heroes stood on the side, a familiar older pro hero next to them.
"Mizuki?"
The ash blonde female's eyes went towards Shoto in a flash and then Iida, their arms bleeding from injuries. Her eyes then went towards a struggling voice, panic rushing through her system when she saw a familiar sinister figure standing by Izuku.
"Don't tell me that man is…?"
"Izu-kun!" Mizuki called out, Endeavor grinning wildly as he charged up his flames to attack the male. "Wait! The hero killer has a hostage!" She yelled out towards the hot-headed male, her worry of him hitting her best friend great.
Endeavor seemed to stop at her words, his gaze showing his agitation. The hero killer stood up from where he held Izuku against the ground. He turned around, his mask falling towards the ground, causing shivers to run down everyone's spines.
DEATH.
"You fake… I must make things right…" He took two shaky steps forward as his immense aura pushed down onto everyone. "Someone must be dyed in blood… I must take back what it means to be a hero! Come! Try and get me, you fake! The only one I'll let kill me is the true hero…All Might!" he declared.
DEATH.
Mizuki felt her knees want to buckle beneath her, fear gripping her figure and clutched to her tightly like chains. It felt like she was going to be killed any moment. She could feel her body shaking, her heart beating in her ears.
The male then stopped walking, a bloodied blade falling onto the pavement next to him. His eyes were open and white, drool running from his mouth. He didn't speak further. He didn't stir and didn't give off his murderous intention.
"He's…unconscious…" Endeavor spoke in a breathless tone. Shoto and Iida's legs gave in beneath them, Gran Torino letting out a breath along with Endeavor. Mizuki's body wanted to give in, but she was quick to push passed it.
"Wait!"
There was a call towards her as she found her legs running towards where Izuku lay. At that moment she didn't care that the Hero Killer was still standing. She didn't care that there was a Nomu on the ground next to Izuku. All she cared about was her best friend.
"Izu-kun!" She called, jumping over the railing of the sidewalk and kneeled next to him. "Hey, Izu-kun!" He had passed out, his eyes closed and his breathing deep. The menace that came from the Hero Killer seemed to be too much of a stimulus.
She looked his body over, finding his injured leg and blood that dried from the wound. It wasn't difficult to put two and two together. He had fought off against the Hero Killer along with Shoto and Iida, their injuries helping her made a conclusion.
She was angry. No, livid. There were many factors that added fuel to the fire. They went off fighting on their own, making their first stupid decision. Then they got themselves injured and possibly, nearly killed.
"Kid, we're going to take the injured towards the nearest hospital," Gran Torino's voice reached her ears. Mizuki, who was holding Izuku in her kneeling position, glanced up at the older male. She caught sight of the heroes tying up the Hero Killer.
"I'm going with you. I'm not leaving Izu-kun alone," Mizuki told the pro hero, her grip on the male tightening drastically. Gran Torino was taken back by her protectiveness over the unconscious male, the gleam in her eyes not giving him any room for arguments.
"Honoured Elder, I'm going to leave the students in my sidekicks' hands. They'll get them to medical services while we sort out the official matters," Endeavor spoke, walking towards the older pro hero with pride in each step.
Endeavor observed the girl as she held onto the other male for dear life. He felt the danger and threat that her aura held. They weren't going to take the green haired male from her hands without incapacitating her.
"Brat, you and Shoto will have your injuries taken care of at the hospital. I will have my sidekicks come and fetch you soon after," Endeavor said, Mizuki's brows furrowing. She frowned and briefly glanced at Izuku.
"I understand."
Endeavor grunted and walked off, not sparing any other commentary. This entire situation was going to prove to be messy and it was already causing a headache to form. High School students taking down the Hero Killer without consent was going to be trouble.
Mizuki stood up, a shadow covering her eyes as she carried Izuku. Gran Torino stepped to the side as she walked off, Iida and Shoto standing with the others. They turned to see Mizuki carry Izuku, Shoto and Iida taking a step.
"Don't." Her warning was in a low tone, causing both males to freeze up. "I thought I told you not do to anything stupid. I thought I said to come back in one piece," Mizuki said through gritted teeth, crimson eyes darkening as she glared at them.
They could feel the intensity of her gaze, veins throbbing out of her temple. They could feel the danger gripping their hearts, their hairs standing on end. It was their first encounter with a beyond livid Mizuki.
"We'll discuss this later."
Mizuki then walked off without another word. The two students stood with guilt clutching them tightly. The feeling in their chest not of frustration or intimidation but of sadness at the gleam that passed through her crimson orbs.
Fear.
