Chapter 33: Currents, Part 2

Yoshiro and Koi were in downtown Tokyo, looking for somewhere to shop.

"What's there for us?" Koi wonders.

"A lot of possibilities…" Yoshiro said as he saw a clothes store. "I already have enough clothes, so we're good on that."

Yoshiro and Koi then saw a food stand.

"We already ate…" Yoshiro said.

"Yeah… Not hungry now." Koi said. "What else is there?"

"Hmmm… Don't know… Let's stroll around a bit more."

A man then bumps into Yoshiro.

"Ow! I am sorry!" The man said. "I have to be somewhere right now!"

"It's fine." Yoshiro said as he saw the man walking weirdly away from him without saying another word. "Strange… That man was acting weird…"

"Huh? Yoshiro, maybe he's not in a good mood." Koi said.

Yoshiro and Koi then continued to walk more in the streets of downtown Tokyo.

"You know someone Koi?" Yoshiro wonders. "Recently, more people are acting weird…"

"Maybe they're having bad days or something." Koi said. "What makes you say that?"

"They are like that man that bumped into me… Do you think that something is hypnotizing them?"

Koi stopped walking.

"Yoshiro… We're shopping for some stuff for you, right?" Koi asked.

"Oh yeah!" Yoshiro replied. "Sorry, let's continue on this street."

While walking, they saw a pawn shop.

"A lot of stuff to buy and sell…" Koi said.

"But we don't have anything to sell…" Yoshiro said. "I guess we'll continue on…"

Turning to their left, they saw a lot of people outside of what seemed to be a retail store.

"Huh? What's up with that crowd of people?" Yoshiro wonders.

"Let's check and see what's going on." Koi said. "If it's that new set of TVs, then we'll just leave."

Taking a closer look, they saw that at least 9 people were watching something on a different TV.

"It's a TV, but it's not one of those TVs we saw in the ads, thank God…" Koi said.

Yoshiro then tried to talk to one of the people.

"Excuse me, sir? What's going on here? You do that, it's just static, right?" Yoshiro asked.

Yoshiro was then pushed away by the man.

"I don't have time for you shenanigans!" The man shouted. "Let me watch that TV in peace!"

Yoshiro walks back to Koi.

"Something is odd here." Yoshiro said.

"You think?!" Koi said. "You always say that in this situation!"

"I know! But look at that TV those people are spying on."

Koi then looked at that particular TV.

"Strange… It's got a top hat with antennas on top of it…" Koi said. "And a bow tie? Let me get a closer look at it-"

Yoshiro stopped him.

"-Wait! I don't want you to get under that TV's control!" Yoshiro shouted. "What if that TV is an enemy Stand?!"

Koi was silent and shocked.

"An enemy Stand?! You're just imagining things!" Koi said. "Ha ha… Let me see that TV. It's probably one of those TVs that were made last year and were pretty much remodeled this year."

Yoshiro looks away and lets go of Koi. Koi walks towards the crowd to get a good look at the TV.

"This TV looks almost identical to that new line of them…" Koi said. "Yeah, no. I don't think I'm ready for them-"

Koi then felt like he was shocked.

"-but… Maybe a few more minutes would be fine." Koi said as he then continued to watch what was on the screen.

Yoshiro was watching Koi.

"Koi! What's going on here?!" Yoshiro shouted as Koi ignored him. "Koi! Koi! Answer me!"

Koi still ignored Yoshiro. Frustrated, Yoshiro then walks over to Koi.

"Koi we're leaving!" Yoshiro shouted.

"Get away from me!" Koi shouted as he pushed Yoshiro away.

Yoshiro then landed on the ground.

"Ugh! I knew it…" Yoshiro said. "That TV IS a Stand! I just know it! How am I gonna get rid of it?!"
