"Lucy?" Peter's tousled head peeked through the door into her cabin as she sat by the fireplace.

"Peter," she whispered.

"May I come in?"

"May we come in?" Susan corrected him as the door opened wide to reveal the other two as well.

"Of course," Lucy smiled and created space for her family to sit on the floor beside her.

"Are you okay?" Ed asked her but it was really meant for anyone.

"I'm not sure."

"What happened?" Susan asked her and Lucy explained her dreams.

"I know that I was the one who started running towards the trees in search of the wardrobe and I don't deny it. But having to hear it from Mr. Tumnus…" She shuddered. "It opened up a deeper wound that I tried to bury a few years back."

"Well, it wasn't your fault. You don't need to bury that wound anymore," Susan took Lucy's hand in hers. "All of us have regretted something even after all these years."

"What was yours?" Ed asked.

"Choosing between...England and Narnia."

"Susan…" Peter started.

"It's fine, Peter. I'm sure that the decision will be made for me one day. I'm not going to battle between the two choices because both are my home. Narnia is a little more than that, but I know that I cannot give up on a life in England...no matter how much I want to." She sighed.

The siblings could not console her because they themselves were in the same dilemma. "Well mine was Jadis obviously," Ed started. "I was back in my younger self's body and in her castle. Susan and Lucy were working for us."

Peter smirked. "A younger pre-Narnia Edmund would have loved that."

"Agree to disagree. You were also turned to stone in that dream..." He stuttered. "I had white hair and blue eyes, and was ruling beside her. That is my biggest regret - betraying all of you and giving into the dark magic," he sighed. "And she wanted me to take her hand. But if I had done that, I probably wouldn't be alive right now, because even dead, the White Witch still somehow manages to find ways to kill me."

The room stopped and everyone was silent. "I have to give her an A+ for effort." Edmund joked to lighten the mood of the dampened room.

"That's strange," Lucy started. "Mr. Tumnus wanted me to take his hand as well."

"So did Caspian," Susan revealed and the three turned to look at Peter, who was awfully silent once they started talking about their nightmares. "Peter?"

He shook his head. He didn't want to speak because he was sure that his voice would crack, and he didn't want them to see that vulnerable side of him. He couldn't even meet their eyes.

"Peter." Lucy moved closer to him and held onto his arm like she always did when she was scared.

"We won't judge you," Edmund started. "It was our deepest regrets after all."

"Peter?" Susan spoke in a soft voice and kept a hand on his shoulder.

He took a deep breath before he looked into the embers of the fire. "I had taken Jadis' hand. But it wasn't because she offered it. Well, she had offered it but it wasn't in the dream." He paused. "It was at Aslan's How."

The three knew where he was heading. "What happened?" Lucy asked.

"Jadis took my blood and defeated the Telmarines but in doing so, she took revenge on us - all of us." He shuddered. "She killed you and Ed, and…"

"But you didn't take her hand Pete," Susan pointed out.

"I might as well have!"

"But you didn't!" Lucy emphasised.

"If it wasn't for Edmund..." He looked at his brother, not knowing what to say next.

"I only did what I would have done anyway if I faced her again," Edmund pointed out. "It was a payback really. Someone stabs me, I stab them back." He smirked and made everyone else laugh as well. "I will admit I did hurt at first, but it is all forgiven, just like my situation with Jadis. You shouldn't feel guilty, brother."

"I'll try not to. And you shouldn't feel guilty about the White Witch."

"I'll try not to as well," he smiled.

On the main deck of the ship, all you could hear was the sound of two swords clashing against each other and the loud cheering. Caspian and Edmund were sparring, practicing for any future encounters with evil. They ended up tying as they did when Edmund and Lucy first came onto the Dawn Treader.

"So, you never gave Peter back his sword," Caspian commented after glancing at the sword Edmund was using.

"Oh, I must have forgotten. We have just been so busy between Camus, the Seven Swords, and the mist. I guess I was never able to properly give it back to him."

"So how do you infer the Seven Swords will defeat Camus?" Caspian asked, breathing heavily from the spar.

"Well, Lucy and I aren't exactly sure, but we think that if we can somehow put the swords together, maybe at a certain place or certain formation, we could use that power to defeat Camus."

"Well then, you better keep an eye on that sword," Caspian gestured to Rhindon. "As it is one of the seven."

"Trust me. This sword is not going anywhere," Edmund smiled. "It reminds of both my overbearing big brothers."

"Edmund don't worry, now that I am a part of this family I will be the laid back brother," he smiled.

"Well I can't argue with that since Peter is….well, Peter. As long as you promise me you won't try to put your life on the line for us. Peter already does it and it stresses me out. He will probably die for no reason one of these times," he said sarcastically.

"Unfortunately, I cannot promise you that, for I have made a vow to Aslan that I would protect all of you, no matter the cost."

"Well then, I also vow to protect you as well, no matter the cost."

"Who's being a Peter now?" Caspian smirked.

Edmund shoved him. "Okay, but I am serious. I am glad to call you my brother."

"I am honored to call you my brother as well. I love all of you with all my heart."

"Especially Susan," Edmund scoffed.

"Maybe I will be your brother-in-law as well."

"Oh double the fun! I cannot wait," Edmund rolled his eyes.

Both of them laughed and were about to continue sparing when they heard someone call out. "Land Ho!"

They had arrived at the Dark Islands.
