Hello, everyone. Your girl's back to update another chapter for you all. A new villain will appear in this chapter (well, technically, but they'll be mention on TV). I won't say who, but it's a certain villain with a blood-related Quirk. I don't own the canon characters as they rightfully belong to their owners while I only own my OCS.
Izuku hmm in his bedroom as he looks over the notes that he wrote early at school while he sat on his bed. Just been four days since he started at U.A., and he already was doing his best to keep up with all his studies. It wasn't long for the green-haired boy to get along with his new classmates, who in return show to admire his notebooks on the Pro Heroes, much to his embarrassment.
Despite wanting to see Hound Dog, Izuku saw the dog-man already had another student to talk with. So not wanting to bother them, Izuku left before he could even make himself known to the school's counselor. Maybe next time when no one is seeing Hound Dog.
"Besides, I'm sure there are plenty of other kids who needs Hound Dog-sensei more than me," Izuku thought, flipping through his notes.
The green-haired boy looks at the notes. They're merely for Pro Heroes with smoke Quirks. Some heroes with these Quirks have to wear extra clothes to keep their powers from causing trouble. However, these Quirks can be quite useful despite them not being for combat. Smoke Quirks can use as a distraction in villain attacks., making the villains unable to see their surroundings while the heroes prepare to finish taking the villains down.
Izuku thought about making costumes for these heroes since the smoke can come from anywhere in their bodies. The little boy began to write down a smoke Quirk is a good way to use against a rampaging villain that's destroying an area with innocent people in it.
As he finishes his writing, a knock on his front door was heard. The green-haired boy got up from his bed and went to his door to see who it was, he has a feeling of who it is. After all, he isn't expecting any visitors for this hour.
"Who is it?" Izuku asks, already knowing what the name will be and how the voice will sound.
"It's me, Izuku-san," Tomura answers.
Smiling happily, Izuku opens the door to his friend and neighbor. With a bright smile on his face, Tomura could tell that his young friend is inviting him inside his apartment. Whenever Izuku treats him like this, Tomura sometimes forgets he's a villain and just another normal guy living here who befriended the new kid in the neighborhood.
"Kurogiri made dinner, he told me to come to get you. Also, your friend will be here," The blue-haired man said, pointing his thumb to the stairs.
"Shuichi-san's coming here?! I'm so glad that he's eating with us. I've been wanting him to come over here more often," Izuku happily took Tomura's left hand in his and walk towards downstairs to meet Kurogiri there, along with Shuichi as well.
Tomura looks at their join together hands. While he made sure that all five fingers weren't on Izuku's hand, as Izuku was leading him back to the bar, the young villain couldn't believe that Izuku is willing to hold his hands despite knowing how dangerous it is. No one had ever held his hand since his Quirk manifested. Sensei used to hold his hands when he was younger, but that was only with gloves.
"Do you really trust me that much, Izuku-san?"
"Tomura-kun, I was wondering if there will be any more neighbors coming here," Izuku said as he looks at his older friend.
Ever since he came here, Izuku was wondering if there will be more neighbors coming here. The apartment is practically empty since only three people are living here. Surely some people will come sooner to check the apartment and see how cheap it is despite looking somewhat fancy.
Tomura kept his eyes on their intertwined hands, still amazed at the trust Izuku has in him. The blue-haired man wonders how long since someone holds his hand like this.
A small but bigger hand took his smaller one in theirs. The hand felt warm, calming him down while trying to leading him somewhere. Somewhere safe and fun to play. All five fingers on each hand were on each other.
Tomura's red eyes widen at the strange vision he just had. Just what was that? Some kind of daydream he was having. No, it felt like a memory from a long time ago. It made him feel safe and warm. It felt so familiar.
It wasn't long until the two boys reached the entrance of the bar. Tomura decided to forget about it since it wasn't anything and didn't matter anyway.
"It was probably just my imagination," Tomura thought as he and Izuku enter the bar.
"I see you two are actually on time for our nightly dinner for once," Kurogiri said as the two boys set down.
"Yeah, yeah. We're here on time, Kurogiri. So stop nagging us, will ya?" Tomura remark.
"Well, Tomura, maybe if you're on time for dinner more, I wouldn't be nagging you. I only do that because I feel like it's only the way to get you to move more," Kurogiri frowned, well frowned as you can get while having no mouth.
"Dinner looks great, Kurogiri-san. Thanks," Izuku happily said, wanting to keep Tomura and Kurogiri from fighting again.
"You're most welcome, Izuku-kun," The mist man happily replies with a look in his eyes that could describe a smile.
"I hope Shuichi-san will be here. I don't want his food to get cold," Izuku said while Tomura turns on the TV to see what's on.
"I'm sure your friend will be here before you know it," Kurogiri ensured the green-haired boy.
Tomura, meanwhile, kept changing the channels. Whenever he thought he finds something good to watch, it ended up being a heroic subject, annoying the hell out of him. Does every single channel have to be about heroes every damn time on TV?!
"In other breaking news, a Pro Hero has been found dead in an alley early this morning," A newswoman said she appears on the screen.
Tomura quickly stopped before he changes the channel. A hero has been found dead today? Sweet! Some good news finally and something interesting to watch. Izuku turn his head to the TV when he heard a Pro Hero was found dead in an alley. He felt a dreaded feeling in his guts. Just because he didn't worship the heroes like he once did, it didn't mean he wanted something horrible happening to them, especially wishing them death.
"Currently, there are no wittiness of the event but police and many Pro Heroes are searching for answers."
A picture of the murdered Pro showed up on the screen.
"That's the Pro Hero Shadow Heart! The hero that said that lives in the shadows and work during the night. They say his Quirk could control the shadows of others and objects. I even heard he could easily get sunburn regardless of the temperature as long the sun is out," Izuku explained to both Tomura and Kurogiri.
Izuku even went as far as to explain where Shadow Heart's Hero Agency was located, how long Shadow Heart has been a hero, how it's known that the man has also been divorced three times already with his current marriage is to be his fourth one in a row. The small boy even told his neighbors that the now-dead Pro has two children from his second marriage, with the rumor that he has an illegitimate child during his first marriage.
Normally, most people would be creeped out by this information that Izuku was giving out, but Tomura and Kurogiri have actually found this cute since Izuku was clearly enjoying this by sharing it with them. Plus, they're villains. They find anything that's supposed to be creepy as cute by their standards.
"You sure know a lot about those heroes, don't you, Izuku-san?" Tomura playfully said while ruffling his friend's soft hair carefully, making the younger boy blush.
"I like studying everything I can about Pro Heroes, Tomura-kun," Izuku replies while intertwining his fingers.
"Well, I think that would pay off for you, Izuku-kun. Considering that you're in U.A.'s Support Course," Kurogiri said as well.
Just then, the door opens slowly, revealing to be Shuichi. The young scaly young man was already nervous about coming here again. Sure, that Kurogiri guy was nice enough, but the other guy, Tomura, always seems to be looking at him. Almost like he was looking at Shuichi in a way that could describe a predator watching its prey.
"Shuichi-san!" Izuku happily runs to his friend.
"Hey, Izuku," Shuichi said as he ruffled Izuku's hair, similar to Tomura from earlier.
Izuku blushes once more from having his hair being ruffle like he was a baby. But it felt nice. Both Tomura and Shuichi doing that felt like older brothers playing with their little brother. Perhaps that's how he saw his older friends since they're older after all. So it felt natural to Izuku to see the two older boys as his big brothers.
"Thank you for coming over, Iguchi-san. Izuku-san was starting to get worried about you," Kurogiri said, happy to see the young man who at least has some manners, unlike a certain blue-haired young man.
Both Sensei and Kurogiri, Izuku also saw the two men as something close to father figures. Considering how his donor hasn't been around since he was a kid, Izuku truly appreciates that the two men have been looking after him since he came here. They even healed his injuries whenever someone beat him up, even if he kind of deserved it sometimes.
"It's no problem, sir. But I should be thanking you for inviting me into your home," Shuichi replies.
Tomura, meanwhile, looks at Shuichi. His red eyes kept watching the scaly young man. The way Izuku's friend behaves around others, clearly shows that Iguchi was abused by this hero society too, just like him and Izuku. It wouldn't surprise Tomura that Iguchi was abused because of his appearance since those of mutant Quirks have been discriminated against due to their inhuman bodies. Perhaps Iguchi could be a recruit for his plans of destroying this damn society once and for all.
Shuichi smiles as Izuku led him to his seat. The young boy has always managed to bring warmth to him whenever they're together. It was something that Shuichi hasn't felt in a long time since he was a kid. Izuku had somehow made him feel human, while everyone else saw him as some kind of monster.
However, The purple-haired man could never tell his young friend that he was secretly training to finally get back at the people who made his entire life a living hell. All the time Izuku was studying for U.A., Shuichi was training his body to get stronger. Seeing how his friend remains a kind person despite how the whole world treated him, Shuichi admires Izuku for that, even wishing he could have that strength to remain that kind and forgiving.
But he doesn't. Shuichi knows that he's weak for giving in to hatred and revenge.
Shuichi also couldn't tell his friend that he had just come here earlier. It was when he saw Shigaraki turning the TV on and saw the news of that dead hero, that Shuichi felt a strange desire of enjoying a dead Pro on the streets.
"Shuichi-san, do you want to play video games with me and Tomura-kun after dinner?" Izuku asks with a bright smile on his face.
"Damn. That kid and his smile," Shuichi thought as the warmth he came to become familiar with came over his body.
"Izuku-kun surely has a way of making people feel good about themselves. Sometimes, even I question if the boy is truly Quirkless or not. He certainly has me feel alive for a long time. Master told me to update on him, but I can't help feel like I'm learning more about him than I expected," Kurogiri thinking over how Izuku had made him feel alive again.
"That smile of yours, Izuku-san, it's really powerful and dangerous. It can make anyone fall for you or make them feel human and normal. You're truly one of a kind. Maybe when I destroy this damn society, I can leave what you like. Like those hero merchandises you once told me you used to want before All Might crush your dreams," Tomura watches his friend's smile brighten than the sun itself.
Good or bad, Izuku's smile had given him a special power that not many heroes have. The green-haired boy has no idea that his smiles could rival that of All Might's.
Thank you, everyone, for reading this. Izuku is growing closer to his villains all thanks to his smile. Everyone is loving Number 16. I'm actually leaning on the names you guys have been giving me. I won't say which one, but you'll know when the chapter comes. Also, I've deiced to change Spinner's backstory here. We all know that he went into villainy after watching Stain on TV, but I've decided to give more than that. But yes, he'll still be inspired by Stain.
