Post Arc 3 Chapter 1: A Mandatory Rest
"...You're on House Arrest for a few days," Aizawa told Izuku.
Hearing those words was quite a shocker for Izuku. Especially because he didn't do anything wrong. Or maybe it was because of his reckless behavior in recent chapters. What could he have been put on house arrest for?!
"Ok maybe that sounded a little harsh," Aizawa said, "I said on house arrest, but relatively speaking…. You've been requested to take a 3 day vacation!"
The shock stayed on Izuku's face hearing what he just heard.
"Your mother talked to me, and was a bit concerned that you've been overworking yourself lately in classes, which may or may not be a result of the bones you've broken but managed to heal," Aizawa told him, "Frankly I feel like I should have given you some down time, especially after everything you've gone through."
"But sir…" Izuku tried to speak but was interrupted.
"Its for your own good Midoriya," Aizawa said to him, "I know you're eager to learn and become a hero, but even someone as dedicated as you will need some downtime eventually. You're not the only one who's been through this. Jotaro, Uraraka, hell even Iida of all people. But don't worry, you won't miss much during the first few days."
"Mr. Aizawa I…"
"This has nothing to do with your reckless behavior you've done in recent days, I just want you to take a breather," Aizawa said, "It's not good for your body to keep pushing yourself. We may have the motto of going beyond plus ultra, but even we have our limits."
Izuku realized there was no arguing with this. If they wanted him to rest, then he just had to do it. Seeing no other option, Izuku agreed.
"I understand sir," Izuku said.
"I've also asked Uraraka to join you for this as well, so you won't be by yourself," Aizawa said, "During this time you're forbidden from going to train at the gym, are we clear?"
"Yes sir," Izuku said.
"Well, that was easier than I thought it would be," he said, "That's all for today. Go."
Day 1…
Class was in session and everyone was in homeroom with the exception of Izuku and Ochako.
"So starting today we'll be continuing normal classes," Aizawa said, "We've had a number of recent events happening, but now its time to switch gears and return to our daily routine. Today is just a lecture, however training will be tougher than it ever was before."
Mina bent her chair back and turned to Tsu.
"He can't be serious about this?" Mina asked.
"Something you wanna share Ashido?" he asked.
"N-n-n-no sir," Mina said.
"Sir, during the opening ceremony in the last arc, Principal Nezu talked about something called a work study. What exactly is that?" Kenshi asked curiously.
"Oh yea, I heard that upperclassmen participated in something like that," Momo added.
"To put it bluntly, there hero activities that take place out of school, however it hasn't been decided whether or not you all will be allowed to attend them yet," Aizawa said, "The sports Festival was just a warm up for the real deal, but this will give you all a chance to really shine as future pros and show the world what you're made of. More information will be available in the next few days. Now then, first period."
"Wassuuuuuuuuuuup!" Present Mic said, while Aizawa groaned.
"Kill me," he thought.
Later on during the evening, everyone returned to the dorms. Izuku and Ochako were cuddling on the couch, and overheard everyone talking about what was happening.
"Dude…. Those lectures from Present Mic are unlike anything I noticed," Kirishima.
"Maybe Yaomomo can tutor us on this," Kirishima suggested.
"Plus that talk about work studies is getting me excited," Leo added.
"Work studies?" Izuku asked.
"In just one day I've been left behind…" Iida said, "That's probably what you're thinking, right Mr. House Arrest?"
"Iida leave him be," Mina said, "Its not a 'House Arrest' House arrest, he's just taking some rest."
Izuku saw Kenshi walking by.
"Hey Jojo, what's a work study?" Izuku asked.
"Sorry buddy, Mr. Aizawa told me not to tell you guys about it," Kenshi said to him, "He wants to make sure you rest like you're supposed to."
"I'm sorry Midoriya, but you'll have to just experience the shock at a later time."
Izuku was shocked. He was slowly beginning to fall behind his classes.
Day 2….
"This is so not fair," Izuku thought to himself.
"Izu, you need to calm down, we might be a little behind in class but I know you'll catch up and you can help me catch up as well. And whatever this work study thing is, I'm sure we'll be able to get something out of it." Ochako told him. "I know, why don't we spend some time with Eri, that way you can get your mind off of all that's going on in school."
"Isnt she with her grandparents?" Izuku asked her. "So I can't visit her till house arrest gets over?"
"But your house arrest is different, you need to rest your body and mind, and not overexert yourself. I'll tell you what, let's call Mr. Aizawa and ask him if we can go to mom and dad's house for a day or two, we can be back by tomorrow evening latest." Ochako told him.
"Not a bad idea, 'Chako!" Izuku complimented her.
"I know right, I guess being the girlfriend to a sweet teddy bear of a nerd who happens to be super strong like you has its benefits." Ochako told him teasingly.
"Come here you little coconut head!" Izuku told her as he tried to catch the girl.
"Hold on. Hold on. You stay where you are and I'll stay where I am. We can continue this after I call Aizawa." Ochako said, still on the run from her boyfriend.
"Okay, but after that it's time for tickle torture." Izuku said with a grin.
Ochako was now scared of what was going to happen after but shrugged this feeling off to call their homeroom teacher.
"You better have a good reason to interrupt by 20th 15 minute nap, Ms. Uraraka."
"Sorry for disturbing you sir, but i was hoping that you'd let Me and Izuku out of the dorms to visit my parents and Eri. it might help Izuku take his mind off of things and relax more."
"That is a good reason. I'll allow it, i'll send Nemuri a message to get you the pass and to personally drop you to your parents house. She should be there in 15 minutes. Now don't disturb me again."
"Yes si-" Ochako was interrupted as the phone got disconnected. "Well, Izuku pack your stuff, Ms. Midnight should be here in 15 minutes to take us to mom and dads house." Ochako told him before realising that they had made a deal before the phone call and got body slammed into Izuku's bed. (They were in Izuku's room so that they made as little of a mess out of the dorms as possible)
Izuku uses the surprise to his advantage and grabbed both of Ochako's arms and pinned them over her head with one of his hands and then began to tickle the girl with his other.
"Having fun, Coconut head?" Izuku asked her.
"St- hahaha- op pl-hahaha- ease!" Ochako pleaded while Izuku continues to tickle her.
"Not until you tell me if you're having fun, Coconut head." Izuku told her as he continued to tickle her.
By this point, Ochako had tears in her eyes from laughing and her stomach was aching too. "Y-Ye-hahaha-S" Ochako mutters between her giggles.
"What do we have here!" A female voice said from what seemed to be the direction of the door to Izuku's room.
"AHHHHHH!" Tee 2 kids shout in shock. "Who the- Oh ms. Midnight."
"Did I scare you two?" Midnight asked them. "Sorry but what you two were doing seemed pretty fun. I'd love to join but don't you two have somewhere to be?"
"Y-Yes Ma'am." Ochako answered, her stomach still aching from the tickling.
"Well, then let's go, i have called a cab it should be here is sometime." Midnight told them. "I'll be waiting down, get your stuff and meet me downstairs."
"Yes ma'am!" the two students answered.
While Izuku and Ochako were packing their stuff, Ochako shot Izuku a playful glare. "Izuku, once we get to my house, you're sleeping on the couch!" Ochako told the boy.
"Sure, have fun sleeping when you're cold." Izuku retorted.
"Oh it's on, Izu, let's see who can stay away from the other for longer. If you win, meaning I come to you first, I'll do whatever you want for a whole day." Ochako told him.
"Sure, and if you win, I'll do whatever you want for a day." Izuku responded. "But before that." Izuku told her, walking towards the girl.
"What?" Ochako asked him.
"Nothing much, just this." Izuku said, kissing the girl on her lips before he went down to meet their teacher as she waited for the cab to arrive.
Ochako stood there with a blush as her face turned red. Even now Izuku's kisses make her as red as a tomato.
