Eda flew around, looking for Luz.
"When I find that girl, I'm going to ground her until she's older than the Titan!"
She found a large clearing in the woods, covered in blood and bits of a snake tail. Eda walked up to the giant thing of ice and smacked her staff against it, causing it to break and the local Demonic Princess to get up. Tracey held her arms and shivered.
"I hate the cold." She said.
"Hello... Tracey, was it?" Eda asked
"Yes."
"Did Luz happen to come by here?"
"No, I thought I'd freeze myself, even though I'm part reptile." Tracey said, sarcastically, "My back is sore and my legs feel like they were ripped of my body because of her."
"What did she do?"
"She ripped my wings off and blew my tail off!" Tracey said.
"Won't they just grow back?"
"Yes, but that doesn't matter." Tracey looked at the direction Luz ran, "She's going after him. There's no telling how bad this could go."
"I can tell how bad this is going to go." Eda said, "Very badly. Go back to your castle, Kid. This isn't going to be pretty."
Eda got back on her staff and flew in the direction of Luz, unaware that she would never be able to catch up to Luz. Luz was almost there. The closer she got, the more she thought about her mom, the angrier she got. She finally found a building with witches outside of it. Her hands started glowing and she charged. Inside, Belos stood up.
"She's here."
He watched the door, know that she would break it down sooner or later. At the main entrance, the metal door was disintegrated. Luz walked in and a few terrorists ran at her. She snapped her fingers and they all turned to stone. Luz knocked one over as she walked by.
"No hiding behind anyone. Just you and me asshole."
Luz closed her eyes and focused on the Healer's Gem. She sprinted into the direction of it and broke down the door. Eda was flying on her staff as fast as possible, hoping she could get to Luz before it was too late. She landed outside the building and saw the door frame.
"No." She said, running into the building, "Please be alive."
Belos watched as the door started to glow blue and then crumple like paper. He didn't see Luz, instead, he saw a blue blur and was knocked back by a powerful hit.
"Miss Clawthorne, it has certainly been a while." He said.
Luz stood in front of him and clenched her fist. She threw another fist at him. He was knocked into the wall and Luz didn't even wait for him to land before she charged at him again. She grabbed his neck and held him against the wall.
"Give. Me. The. Healer's. Gem!" She demanded.
"If you want it, you'll have to take it." He said.
Luz raised her fist and glared at him.
"Gladly."
Luz was about to hit him when she heard someone behind her.
"Luz!"
Luz turned around and saw Eda.
"Mom? What are you doing here?"
"I think the real question is, what are you doing here young lady?"
"I came here to get the Healer's Gem back!" Luz yelled.
"What you did was put yourself in danger! Do you have any idea how stupid of an idea this was!?" Eda yelled back.
As the mother and daughter were yelling, Belos took this distraction and teleported behind Eda. He grabbed her by the hair and grabbed her by the chin.
"Now, you have two choices. You can give up and admit defeat, or... you can watch as I snap your mother's neck. Your choice."
Luz held her hand up and it started to glow again. Her hand started shaking and she dropped it.
"Smart choice." Belos said.
Belos put up a finger and cast a spell. A cage surrounded Luz and he shoved Eda in.
"Just so you know, that cage blocks your magic. You aren't getting out of there." He called in a few terrorists, "Lead a raid on their Manor. I want those Human's brought to me."
"Do you want them alive or dead?"
"Alive, but have as much fun as you want with them." Belos said.
Luz shook the bars angrily.
"You leave them alone!"
Belos simply looked at her.
"You want to know something, Miss Clawthorne? What I'm about to do to them, is going to be your fault."
Eda covered Luz's ears and glared at Belos.
"When I get out of this cage, I'll rip you to pieces! You've hurt my family to many times!"
"Trust me, Owl Lady, you won't be hurting me. It will be the other way around."
