"Travis, all I'm saying is I'm better at Capture the Flag." Katie explains to her boyfriend.
They lounge around out in the strawberry fields. Travis plucks a strawberry and eats it, holding up a finger. "That is a complete lie and you know it." He finally says, finishing the strawberry.
"No it is not. I happen to recall me tying someone up in vines three Capture the Flags ago." Kaita smirks proudly.
"And I happen to recall me throwing color bombs at someone last Capture the Flag." Travis smirks back. Katie frowns.
Okay, so maybe her boyfriend is better. She'll give him props for that. "Well, I would be the better doctor." Katie says.
"No, I would be! I know all of Solace's tricks." Travis runs a hand through his hair.
Katie pats his cheek. "Mm, sure."
"I would be. I can totally save a person." Travis leans down on his elbows.
"I definitely wouldn't trust you with your hands deep in someone." Katie says. Travis mocks being offended.
"Wow, KatieKat. I'm truly, deeply offended you wouldn't trust me cutting someone open and stitching them up."
Katie shoves him lightly, causing him to laugh.
"Fine, you'll be the better doctor. But let's say aliens ever came down from space, I'd totally whoop all their butts." Travis says.
Katie hums, raising an eyebrow and eating a strawberry.
"Yep, totally go in for some potato gun shooters. Maybe even some dye in the shower. Oh! And TP their whole ship." Travis says, staring off in the distance and getting a mischievous glint in his eyes.
Katie shakes her head, smiling. "You're crazy. You hear me?" She leans in close to his face and taps his forehead with her finger. "Crazy."
"I know. But like think about it. Do you think aliens are allergic to potatoes?" Travis asks. Katie snorts.
"They aren't allergic to potatoes."
"You don't know that."
"I'm pretty sure they aren't allergic to potatoes."
Travis shrugs. "Eh. I'm thinking about pranking the Athena Cabin. Their always so uptight."
"Don't prank the Athena kids." Katie scolds.
"Why not?" Travis asks.
"Because you know how busy they are with their work."
"Which is exactly why I'm going to prank them."
"Travis, no! You'll start a war between Athena and Hermes. And then I'll have to pick your side and get involved."
"Hey, that's what girlfriends do! What should I prank them with though?" Travis asks.
"Ugh, Travis, no." Katie shakes her head, grabbing another strawberry.
"Ugh, Katie, yes. Now help me think."
"I don't know! Just don't prank the Athena Cabin. They're very busy right now."
"Eh, too bad."
"I'm not convincing you out of this, am I?" Katie asks.
Travis shakes his head and grins. Katie rolls her eyes.
Travis snaps his fingers. "I've got something."
Katie grimaces. "What is it?"
"I'm going to switch their underwear and supply drawers. Like switch up all their supply drawers so they get confused and then their underwear drawers because that's just funny." Travis says, smirking. He turns to his girlfriend, a curl falling on his forehead.
Katie moves the curl from his face. "You're insane for doing this. Do not do it, Travis."
"Do not do it, Katie." Travis mocks, sticking his tongue out.
"I'm serious, Travis."
"I'll be fine."
"What are you going to do when you have the whole Athena Cabin on your tail?" Katie asks.
"You worry too much. I'll just go pow pow with my potato gun I'm building. Ooh, maybe I can launch that at their cabin."
"Ugh, Travis."
They go into silence. Katie accepting defeat that she can't stop Travis from doing this and Travis planning exactly how he's going to excite this plan and who he should recruit to do it.
"Another thing." Katie adds, looking over at her boyfriend. She has a smirk of his own.
Travis looks at her, confused.
"I'm the better kisser." Katie says. Travis smirks.
"Sorry, KatieKat, I'm the better kisser, but maybe we should see who exactly the better kisser is."
"Fine. Maybe we should."
Both smirk and lean in. Travis closes the gap between them, putting a hand on Katie's hip, drawing her in closer. Katie moves her lips against Travis', putting a hand on his bicep.
Katie pulls away, leaning her head against his. "I'm the better kisser."
"No, I am, but let's test again. Just to be sure."
Katie laughs and kisses her boyfriend again.
"Better kisser." Travis mumbles against her lips.
"Very debatable."
