"Where are the other three?" I asked them. "They're on the other bus with the other class," Tecna said. "He tells everyone to sit while he's the one that's up," Lumagrowl said. "Oh, be quiet, I'd like to see you try to tame this class" I told him. We arrived on a mountain top around nine in the morning. I got off the bus and stretched out my body. "Finally, I need to get off that bus," Denki said. "Let me get through, I need to pee!" Mineta said. "This isn't much of a rest area," Sero said. "No and where's class b?" Jiro asked. "You don't really think we stopped here so that you can rest your legs, do you?" dad asked. "Please sir, the toilet" Mineta ran up to him. "Hey yo, eraser" I heard Mandalay say. "Long time no see" dad said. "Your feline fantasies are here, say meow" Mandalay jumped out the car. "Perfectly cute and cute like girls," Pixie Bob said. "You can call us the wild wild pussycats," both of them said. "These are the pro heroes that you'll be working with at the summer training camp" dad said. "They're a four-person hero team who specializes in mountain rescues. The pussycats were founded when we were kids like forever ago. This marks their 12th year working as a-" Deku was cut off when Pixie-Bob grabs him by the head. "I'm pretty sure your math must be off. I'm 18 at heart" Pixie bob growled.
"Understood," Deku said. "Everyone says hello," dad said. "Hello there, nice to meet you," the class said. The boy turned away from us. "Beyond this whole stretch of land out here, everything you can see. The summer camp you'll be staying at is over there at the base of the mountain" Mandalay informed us. "That's far," the class said. "Uh, then why did we stop all the way up here instead?" Ochaco asked. "I'm afraid we both know the answer to that," Tsuyu said. "You can't be right," Sato said. "Uh back on the bus, let's go" Sero, nervous as he turned back. "Good idea, load up," Kaminari said, putting his hand on Koda's shoulder. "The current time is 9:30 in the morning. If you're fast about it, you might make it there by noon" Mandalay said. "No way you guys," Kirishima said. "Holy crap!" Mina yelled. "Save yourselves!" Kirishima shouted. They started running back to the bus. I stayed by my father and waited. "Kitties who don't make it there by 12:30 won't get any lunch," Mandalay said. "You should have guessed students: the training camp has already begun" dad said. Pixie Bob jumps in front of them and uses her quirk to spill us over the mountainside. I assumed that the others stayed with dad since I only had a Gible with me. Screams were heard from the rest of them.
"Good news, since this is private land you can use your quirks as much as you want too. You got three full hours: you should be able to make it to the facility in that time. That's if you can get through the beast forest" Mandalay yelled. "The beast forests?" Deku asked. "That sounds like a name out of a fantasy game," Denki said. "Why do we keep falling for Mr. Aizawa's little tricks?" Jiro said. "I guess there's no use in complaining. Might as well get going" Kirishima said. Mineta rushed past us but was stopped by a monster. "We're all going to die!" Sero and Denki yelled. "Please calm yourself my giant friend! You don't want to hurt them" Koda yelled as he ran up to it and Izuku jumped in to save him. This made me think a bit about that. Izuku, Shoto, Tenya, and Katsuki work together to quickly destroy the beast. "You guys took that beast out in seconds," Sato said. "It was awesome," Sero said. "You showed that thing whose boss," Kirishima said. "We're not done," Bakugo said. Another monster came up but this time it was flying. "Aw come on, don't you think this is a little unfair?" Denki asked. "What now? Do we run?" Mina asked. "Not good, if we don't make it to the camp fast enough then we won't get anything to eat" Sato said. "He's right, we have no choice but to cut through this forest using the shortest possible route," Momo said. "Alright, let's go to class!" Iida yelled. "Yeah!" the class yelled.
"So, seven in total. They're coming!" Jiro yelled. "Alright I got this one" Sero said. He takes one down using his tape. I took one out along with Stella. The others started helping with the rest of the beasts that were around. Denki went dumb of course. I went further up and helped where I could. It was tiring but it had to be done. I was severely worn out, so were the rest of them. "You know that it'll only take three hours," Sero said. "I did, I guess we base it on how long it will take us, sorry about that" Mandalay said. "Now you're bragging on how much better you are. That's so mean" Sato said. "I'm starving, this is hell!" Kirishima yelled. "I thought it would take you kids even longer but you did much better against my dirt monsters than I thought you would. You guys were seriously great, especially the five of you. It seems like you've had quite a bit of experience" Pixie Bob explained. She was pointing to Iida, Izuku, Todoroki and Bakugo. "I call dibs on these kittens. I'll groom them myself" Pixie Bob said. She jumped towards them, I moved away from them to not get touched by her. "Mandalay, has she always been like this?" Dad asked. "It's gotten worse lately, she's at the age to take a mate," Mandalay said. "Uh, speaking of people's ages," Deku said. He got his face covered again.
"Choose your words carefully boy" Pixie Bob hissed at him. "It's just that I've been wondering since we got here earlier, who is that kid? What's he doing here?" Deku asked. He pointed to the boy by dad. "Oh this little guy? He's my cousin's son. He just lives with us now. Don't be shy Kota, say hi to everyone. You're going to be around them for the next week," Mandalay said. "Hey there, my name's Midoriya. I'm from the U.A high hero course. It's nice to meet you" Izuku said. Kota hits him with a low blow and walks away. "What a low blow! You are a friend of a child! A low blow to the scrotum is unforgivable!" Iida yelled as he helped Izuku. "The last thing I want is to hang out with some who want to be heroes," Kota said. "Wannabes? How old are you, kid?" Iida asked. "That brats got spunk," Katsuki said. "He's like a mini version of you," Todoroki said. "What are you talking about? You need to shut your mouth before I blast you all the way to hell" Bakugo said. "Yeah sure," Shoto said. "Enough playing around, get your stuff on the bus. Once your bags are in your rooms, we'll have dinner in the cafeteria. After that you can bathe and sleep. Tomorrow, your training starts in earnest. You better get a move on" dad said. We put away our bags and went to the cafe. There was food already waiting for us. We sat down and started eating, I had food set aside for me in advance. There was chatting going around while they ate. I talked with my friends after we met up. "Hey, you got meat over there!" Kirishima said.
Yeah geez, it's the last time you guys haven't eaten in a week or something. Anyway, this will be the only time that we'll be doing this for you. So, you kids make sure you enjoy it" Pixie said. "Thank you!" both of them said. After dinner, we went to bathe. "This feels amazing!" Hagakure shouted. "I'm so glad they got a hot spring here," Jiro said. I was able to hear the boys on the other side. Then heard Mineta climbing up the wall until he got to the top. "Before you can become a hero, you should learn how to be a good human," Kota said. I assumed that Kota slapped him judging by the sound. Mineta fell back and landed back in the water. "Mineta really is the worst, isn't he?" Tsuyu asked. "Thanks, so much Kota," Momo said. "We owe you one," Mina said. He turns around and accidentally sees us all naked. Shocked, Kota faints and falls over the wall himself.
*The next day*
I got up and got dressed. I meet up with my dad with Stella. The others came along soon enough. "Good morning class, today we begin a training camp that will increase your strength. Our goal is to increase your skills exponentially so that you earn your Provisional Hero License. This will allow you to face the dangers that continue to fester in the darkness. Proceed carefully. Look alive Bakugo" dad explained. Dad threw the ball at him. "Try throwing that for me," dad said. "Yeah sure, like in the fitness test?" Bakugo asked. "That's right. When you first started school, your record was 705.2 meters. Let's see if you improved" dad said. "Oh, I get it, we're checking our progress," Mina said. "What's happened to us the last three months? Maybe he can throw it a mile now," Sero said. "Come on, get it Bakugo!" Kirishima yelled. "No one blinks, go to hell!" Bakugo yelled.
He threw the ball with his quirk. "That was 709.6 meters," Dad said. Bakugo seemed shocked by this. Dad showed us the phone. "That's it? That's disappointing" Sero said. "You've had a single semester at U.A and due to your various experiences, all of you definitely improved. But those improvements are mostly limited to mental prowess and technical skill with a slight increase in stamina thrown in along the way. As you can see, your quirks themselves have not improved much on a fundamental level. That's why we're now going to focus on improving your powers" dad explained. He gave that weird smile again. "This will be so hard that you'll feel like you're dying. Let's hope you all survive" dad said. It was training time and I was currently sitting in one of the trees close by. I needed someone to train with me but everyone else was doing their own thing. A few minutes later, I could hear a lot of footsteps coming. I was hanging upside down at this point. I opened my eyes and saw that class 1b was approaching. Murkrow flies towards them and lands on Vlad's shoulder. They didn't notice that I was there yet. "Oh man, this is pretty intense," one of the boys said. "You said it," Pichu said from a tree breach. I watched as Stella and Tecna went over to his branch.
"Hey have you seen?" Tecna asked him. "She's over there, she's been waiting for you two. She said she needed you for something," Pichu said. "About what?" Stella asked. "Something quirks wise" he said. I spotted Juvia, Grey and Erik coming over to my branch along with the other two. "Looks like you found me, now someone catch me," I said. "Why did you even go up there knowing you can't come down?" Tecna asked. "Oh, I could but having someone catch me would be safer and easier," I told her. "Alright, come on. We already wasted enough time as it is" Erik said. I made myself fall and Erik caught me. Gible finally let go of my leg and went over to Vlad. "Let's get going, shall we?" I said. We started walking away from that class, I looked down and saw that Gible and Pichu were not by my side. I turned and saw that they were still by Vlad. Gible was aggressively tapping on Vlad's leg while Pichu was running around his legs. Murkrow was still just sitting on his shoulder. "Gible! Pichu! Let's go!" I yelled over to them. Pichu came over to me and climbed to my shoulder. Gible was running over to me weird. It seemed like he was waddling over to me but in running form. I could feel the stares from the other class when Gible finally made it over. He latched on to my leg again and was on my way. "You forgot your bird!" I heard someone yell. "He can do as he pleases!" I yelled back at them. So, my group went into a more open area, slightly away from the others. "What did you need us to do?" Tecna asked. "Are you able to make a space that silences my hearing?" I asked her. "Could you explain what you want?" she asked. "Do you remember what happened at the sports festival? Well, are you able to do that?" I asked her. I saw that she thought for a bit. "I think that I'm able to," she said. She created a transparent green cube around me. It was completely silent in here and it was giving me a bit of anxiety. I waited a bit until I was able to feel her coming through. I blacked out but felt my body hit the ground.
Third person
I was in complete darkness and was floating around. "What do you want from me?" she asked. She appeared and didn't look like she was in the best shape. "I wanted to talk to you," I told her. "You better start talking, you're on a time limit now" she said. "Why are you like this?" I asked her. "I don't know what you're talking about," she said. "I want to know why you feel the need to attack everyone and hurt the people that I possibly care about," I told her. "Have you ever had the feeling of having two people that you care the most killed in front of you? I don't think so. I've been living with the pain for so long that my only way of taking it out is on others. I use you since I'm able to take over you" she said. "That isn't the healthiest way to take it out. You have other options for taking out this type of pain and it doesn't involve hurting others. If you want, I could possibly help you in finding ways in healing. It would take time, but it would help" I suggested. She didn't respond back for a couple of minutes. "What is even your name?" I asked her. "I went by Serena when I was living, now I don't have one," she said.
"Do you even have a quirk?" I asked. "It's a combined one. It's pressure, redirection, takeover and gravity" she said. "You know, in the sports festival, you said that you didn't have a quirk when my dad tried to stop you. Why is that?" I asked her. "Well it's not, it's more like the energy around me and it was forced upon me when I was younger" she said. I started to feel tired before fading out of the darkness. I slowly opened back my eyes and saw Stella standing over me. "Are you okay?" she asked. "Yeah, I'm fine" I said as I got up and dusted off my clothes. "Come on, everyone else is leaving," Stella said. I looked back and saw that the other four weren't here anymore. We headed over to the cooking grounds. Pichu, Murkrow and Gible was by Erik. I went over to him. "I would like to know why these three are with you," I said. "They were complaining about how you weren't waking up and wanted to eat," he said. "Now remember what I said. We're not serving your food anymore" Pixie said. "If you guys want to eat, you'll have to make your own meals starting with curry!" Ragdoll shouted. 'Lucky, I knew my way around already' I thought. "Yes ma'am" the others groaned. Ragdoll started laughing. "Aw man, you guys look exhausted, that doesn't mean you can cosset by making sloppy cat food" Ragdoll said.
"I see, the important part of saving someone recovering from a disaster is proving their physical needs. As well as spiritual, ah this is a great opportunity. Let's make the most delicious curry in the world everyone" Iida hyped the others up. "Yeah, okay" everyone groaned. We started to set up the firewood under the opened stoves. "How are we going to set the fire?" Stella asked. Torchic pops up and sets it on fire. "Thanks, Torchic" I said. He chirps at me. "Hey Todoroki! Can we get some fire over here too?" Mina asked. "Bakugo, use an explosion to light that Sero told him. "This is so beneath me," Bakugo said. I watched as he destroyed the fireplace. "Too much!" Tokoyami shouted. "Rely on others and you'll never know how to start a fire yourself. We should learn how to acquire new skills," Momo said as she lit the wood next to me with the lighter she made. "Says the girl who just made the lighter" I said. We cooked the curry and ate it afterwards. I shared some with Torchic, to which he ate happily.
