WWF WrestleMania 14 was live at the FleetCenter in Boston, Massachusetts. The night began with the secret guests in the tag team battle royal being revealed as the united Legion of Doom, with Sunny as their new valet. Savio Vega was first eliminated, meaning his tag team partner, Miguel Perez, had to leave too. Kurrgan illegally entered the ring to enact revenge on Sniper and Recon on behalf of The Jackyl, Barry Windham also illegally entered to eliminate Chainz, and so left his partner Bradshaw. The final four teams lasted a while until Skull was eliminated by Phineas. When The Godwinns were thrown out, they returned and attacked the LOD with slop buckets before leaving. New Midnight Express tried to keep Animal out of the ring while double-teaming Hawk, but once he re-entered the Legion simultaneously eliminated both Bob and Bart, leaving them the last team standing.[

The second match was a Light Heavyweight Championship match, with Taka Michinoku defending his title against Águila; this would be the first and only time the championship was defended at WrestleMania, though its successor the Cruiserweight Championship would be. After throwing Taka out the ring and baseball sliding into him, Águila hit an asai moonsault outside the ring, but was soon the victim of a springboard crossbody after Taka reversed a suplex from the apron. Águila almost won the match with a moonsault crossbody into a pin, but remained on the offensive with a frankensteiner. Taka tried to land the Michinoku Driver, but as Aguila flipped out and attempted a hurricarana, Taka managed a powerbomb reversal.

He soon stopped a high flying dive with a dropkick before successfully executing a Michinoku Driver and picking up the win. After the match, both contestants shook each other's hand and celebrated together. Also, partway into the matchup, Jim Ross made a fleeting comment about the date of Taka's title win, December 7, the date of the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor, calling it "ironic enough". This incident went largely unnoticed, only causing a slight stir in the wrestling community.

Triple H made his way to the ring with his theme played by the DX Band. Before Owen Hart came to the ring, Commissioner Slaughter handcuffed himself to Chyna so that she would not interfere, despite her protestations. The match began with Hart pummelling Helmsley with fists before sliding out of the ring, when Triple H tried to jump from the apron he met with the crowd barrier. After an early powerbomb Hart attempted to lock in the sharpshooter, but Helmsley reversed it and started some offensive maneuvers of his own, kicking Hart in the turnbuckle and delivering a suplex.

Hart suffered a cut to the bridge of his nose from a boot to the face, after which Triple H began to work on Hart's damaged ankle, dropping his knee onto it and stretching it. After avoiding another kick to the face and pulling Helmsley's crotch onto the ring post, and managed to take advantage, reversing a powerbomb into the sharpshooter, but Chyna, having to pull Slaughter, pulled Triple H to the rope for the break. Chyna then threw white powder in Slaughter's face causing a worried Hart to check on him, as he turned round to face the ring, Chyna low-blowed him from outside allowing Triple H to successfully land the Pedigree on him and take the win. After she was freed from the handcuffs, Chyna shoved Slaughter into the crowd.

The next matchup was Sable vs Luna Vachon, who Sable had been feuding with these past few weeks. There was interference from both Goldust and Marc Mero, who Sable punched in the face for all he's done to her, then hit Vachon with a hard powerbomb to score the win.

The Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship fight began along the walkway with a brawl that saw Ken Shamrock whipped into the steel steps before coming inside the ring. Rocky Maivia then delivered his People's Elbow, but could not secure a three-count. Shamrock then rolled out of the ring and grabbed a steel chair and when the referee tried to take it off him, he threw the referee into the corner; The Rock quickly grabbed the chair and hit Shamrock with it as the referee recovered. Shamrock pushed out of the pin count and quickly gained the advantage, delivering a belly to belly slam off an Irish whip and then securing his ankle lock in the center of the ring, making The Rock tap.

The surrounding members of the Nation jumped into the ring, but Shamrock quickly dispatched them all with suplexes, including the four hundred pound Henry, before reapplying the ankle lock to a bleeding Maivia. Faarooq then ran down from the back and jumped onto the apron, only to look on at The Rock with a smile, before walking away. Eventually, a number of referees (the ones he attacked were actually independent wrestlers or stuntmen put in referee uniforms) and officials appeared trying to subdue Shamrock, after being surrounded he suplexed a referee and then an official before calming down as The Rock was wheeled away on a gurney. Howard Finkel then announced Shamrock had been disqualified for not breaking his ankle hold, causing Shamrock to chase Rock and fight him on the Chris Warren band stage.

The WWF World Tag Team Championship match began with Billy Gunn facing Chainsaw Charlie and Road Dogg exchanging blows with Cactus Jack. Trying a Cactus Elbow on Road Dogg, Cactus missed and slammed himself into the dumpster. The Outlaws then focused on Charlie, using a back toss to drop him into the dumpster and as he attempted to climb out they simultaneously slammed the lid shut on the hardcore legends' heads. With Cactus and Charlie both in the dumpster, the Outlaws shut the lid down on them, but Cactus managed to get back up while the Outlaws were celebrating and pushed Road Dogg down to the ground with a mandible claw, pulling him into the dumpster.

Both teams took time to recover and began to brawl with weapons in the ring, Cactus Jack pulling out a ladder and climbing it opposite Billy Gunn, only to be pushed off straight into the dumpster outside the ring by a falling Chainsaw Charlie. Road Dogg pulled his partner out and the two focussed their efforts on Charlie, powerbombing him into the dumpster, but Cactus had managed to escape in the meantime. The fight found its way to the backstage area, with both Outlaws throwing Cactus into boxes and promotional toys, but Jack replied with a chair shot to both of them and pulled Billy Gunn onto a wooden crate with a double-arm DDT. Charlie reappeared on a forklift and elevated the wooden crate as Jack dragged Road Dogg onto it too. Charlie then drove the forklift above a backstage dumpster and dropped both opponents inside as Cactus Jack closed the lid to win the WWF World Tag Team Championship.

Before The Undertaker's match with Kane, baseball record-holder Pete Rose came to the ring as the special ring announcer. However, after insulting the home-town team and introducing Kane, the wrestler gave him a tombstone piledriver, starting a tri-year tradition.[16] The Undertaker was preceded by a league of torch-bearing druids to the tune of "O Fortuna". The Undertaker cornered Kane and threw a flurry of punches into him, ducking and reversing Kane's attempts until Kane hit him with a clothesline that he instantly sat up from. Kane then set Undertaker up in a tree of woe to begin his assault of punches and Irish whips and then suplexing Undertaker onto the ropes and delivering a flying club to the neck from the turnbuckle. As The Undertaker began to fight back, Kane threw him into the ropes, but Undertaker retaliated by jumping onto his back, which was met a face-first electric chair. Paul Bearer kept the referee distracted while Kane landed the steel steps onto Undertaker, and repeated the effort a second time while his opponent was lying onto the steps, crushing him between. As the referee tried to keep Kane in check, Bearer slapped Undertaker while walking past him.

Kane caught his brother running and delivered a chokeslam, but lifted his shoulders off the mat before the three-count could be made, putting him into a sleeper hold that Undertaker eventually fought out of with a flurry of punches. Undertaker then dropped Kane on top of the ropes and punched him off the apron; he followed this with an over the top rope suicide dive that Kane managed to sidestep, sending Undertaker crashing through the Spanish announce table. As Undertaker made it back into the ring, Kane hit him with a flying lariat. Undertaker tried to give Kane the Tombstone Piledriver, but Kane managed to weigh himself backward onto his own feet and deliver the tombstone himself. Undertaker kicked out and after landing his opponent with a clothesline, he chokeslammed Kane and then delivered a tombstone piledriver of his own; but Kane kicked out. It would eventually take three tombstones with a guillotine leg drop and flying clothesline in between to stop Kane kicking out and sitting up, but as soon as the match was over, Bearer attacked Undertaker and ordered Kane to attack him, which he did with a chair shot to the head and then a tombstone piledriver onto the chair. After Kane and Bearer left, Undertaker sat up and left the ring.

And now it was time for the Main Event.

"The first temptation is to say that tradition has abandoned WrestleMania." A deep voice narrates the promo. "That this grand spectacle, this enticing blend of celebrity and athleticism has been taken hostage by a new generation of rogues.

The Baddest Man on the Planet," Mike Tyson is shown.

"the toughest SOB," Stone Cold is shown.

"The demonic wolf of hell," Bladewolf is shown.

"the reigning champion and number one degenerate." Shawn Michaels is shown.

"These are men determined to write their own destiny. But Tradition is alive and well. Because after all, despite these clashes of personalities, it's the allure of Federation gold that has brought these men here tonight. So tonight, through sacrifice and pain, through breathtaking displays of athleticism, through great feats of strength that define mortal boundaries. these men that shun tradition, are destined to become apart of it."

footage of Austin eliminating Bladewolf at the 1998 Royal Rumble, Shawn superkicks Austin, Bladewolf attacking DX and hitting Austin with the chair show

"At WrestleMania, in the biggest PPV attraction of all time, three men who look to sign their name in the history books, one will usher in a new era of attitude. The Past (Shawn), present (Austin), and future (Bladewolf) will collide to decide who will lead the WWF for years to come.

Shawn Michaels: The Heartbreak kid lays down for absolutely nobody!

Stone Cold: You are looking at the toughest son of a bitch in the WWF.

The Bladewolf: You will both BURN...IN...HELL!

The battle for WWF supremacy starts now.

Off Screen

George stands in his locker room, watching Mike Tyson make his entrance. George rolls his shoudlers before he puts his mask on and gets into character before heading to the door.

On Screen

Bladewolf is shown walking out his locker room and walks down the hallway, hood up, but everyone can see that serious glare in his eyes. He makes it to the gorilla and stops, waiting...

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

The Devil's Wolf plays to a loud pop as the lighs dim to the sinister blood red and dark blue and out comes the Bladewolf.

"And making his way to the ring, from Death Valley, weighing 310 lbs...THE BLADEWOLF!" Howard Finkel announces.

"And here he comes, the Demon Wolf, the Wolf of Darkness and Destruction! The man who looks to become the WWF Champion!" JR says.

Bladewolf had donned new ring gear. He no longer wore what he had for the past few months since his debut, he wore a black sleeveless shirt (Same as the Undertaker's 1999 attire) with a Wolf skull in the middle of it (Story picture) that had red, demonic eyes. Underneath the skull was the words, written in fire, "Burn in Hell!" He wore black wrestling tights (Again, like the Undertaker's 1999 wrestling tights) that had a burning Wolf skull on the right pant leg, and a burning Undertaker TX symbol on the left pant leg, showing his relation to his brothers.

His black gloves had skull-like decorations around the knuckles, he had the Undertaker symbol on the back of his trench coat, the Wolf skull on the right shoulder sleeve of the coat, and the Grim Reaper on the left shoulder of the coat.

"Wow." Lawler says as Bladewolf makes his walk to the ring, Austin not intimidated though as he waits for one of the two men he faces tonight.

"Both Bladewolf and Austin have a chance to become the next WWF Champion, but it is every man for himself." JR reminds.

Bladewolf gets onto the ring apron then takes off his trench coat, his demonic eyes glaring behind the mask before he steps over the top rope and stares down Austin before turning his gaze to Mike Tyson as his theme dies down and the lights return to normal. Bladewolf stands in a corner, staring down Austin who stares back.

D-Generation X's theme plays with the band there live to perform it. Shawn Michaels soon comes out, accompanied by Triple H and Chyna. "From San Antonio, Texas, weighing 234 lbs, he is the World Wrestling Federation Champion, The Heartbreak kid...SHAWN MICHAELS!"

The WWF Champion walks down the aisle, rolls into the ring and removes his vest. His theme dies down as Michaels hands the referee the title and Bladewolf and Austin get back into the ring, standing in separate corners now. Triple H and Chyan exit the ring and stand at ringside before the bell is called for.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

"This is going to be one heck of a fight between the Past, the Present, and the Future." JR says.

Michaels taunts Austin, who just gives the WWF Champion the bird. The WWF Champion toys with the Rattlesnake who ends up chasing Michaels around the ring outside, both re-enter the ring only to run into a double clothesline had the hands of the Bladewolf. Bladewolf grabs Austin and knees him in the stomach a few times before tossing him out of the ring and whips his head around to look at Michaels who has gotten to a knee.

Bladewolf walks forward and delivers a boot to Michaels' head, then grabs him by the hair before hammering away at his forehead. Bladewolf releases Michaels and goes to rebound off the ropes for a leg drop but somebody grabs his foot, stopping his momentum. Bladewolf looks to see Triple H had done it. Grabbing the ropes, Bladewolf backflips over the ropes and lands on his feet before he knocks Triple H down with a hard right hand then picks him up and tosses him straight into Chyna when she ran at him.

Bladewolf rolls back into the ring only to be met with rights from Austin. Bladewolf fights back and both Bladewolf and Austin are trading right hands with one another before Bladewolf ducks one and takes Michaels down with a clothesline. Austin grabs Bladewolf from behind and drives his back down onto Austin's knee. Bladewolf is down as Austin turns to the WWF Champion.

Michaes gets to his feet and slugs it out with the Rattlesnake, ducking a clothesline but is unable to duck the second one Austin goes for. Austin picks Michaels up and slams him facefirst into the turnbuckle before unloading with lefts and rights then stomps away on Michaels in the corner. Austin backs up before going for a turnbuckle clothesline but Michaels moves out the way, causing Austin to hit the turnbuckles and stumble backwards into the ropes.

Michaeks rebounds off the ropes and runs at Austin for an attack when Austin lifts Michaeks over his head and dumps Michaels into the waiting arms of the Bladewolf. Michaels went wide eyed as he tries to get out of Bladewolf's hold but Bladewolf runs and brings Michaels' back into the steel ring post hard before hitting a powerslam on the floor, causing Michaels to groan in pain.

Austin comes from behind with a clubbing blow to the back, causing Bladewolf to whip around and strike Austin down with a hard uppercut that floors the Rattlesnake. Bladewolf picks Austin up and brings him face first into the steel railing before he Irish Whips Austin straight into the steel steps.

"Good God! Bladewolf is dominating both Austin and Michaels!" Lawler comments.

"It's all about the WWF championship, King." JR reminds him.

"I know that!" Lawler snaps.

Bladewolf picks up a Steel chair with sadistic glee in his eyes since in a Triple threat, there was no countouts, no DQs, meaning Bladewolf can do whatever he likes to his opponents until they cannot take it anymore and will stay down.

Bladewolf watches Michaels get to his feet and Michaels turns around...INTO A STEEL CHAIR SHOT TO THE SKULL!

"Good God! Did you hear the impact of that chair shot?!" JR exclaims.

"Hell yeah, I did." Lawler nods.

Bladewolf viciously attacks Michaels with the chair before noticing Austin coming and whirls around, smacking the chair right off Austin's skull. Bladewolf tosses the chair aside and grabs Michaels before sending him shoulder-first into the ring post. Bladewolf turns to Austin and grabs him but Austin fights back with right hands to the masked face of the Bladewolf before Austin grabs Bladewolf's head and brings him face first into the ring apron, causing the 7ft monster to drop to a knee but he gets back up quickly only for Austin to do it again, then again, then again then he Irish Whips Bladewolf into the steel steps.

"Austin and Bladewolf desire the WWF Championship more than anything right now." JR comments.

Austin turns his attention to Shawn Michaels to see the WWF Champion trying to crawl away but the Rattlesnake went after him, delivering a few stomps to him before he picks up Michaels before tossing him back into the ring. Austin rolls in and rebounds off the ropes to hit his Elbow drop, hooking the leg but Michaels kicks out at two.

Austin gets to his feet, grabs Michaels before hitting the Champion with a hard right hand then backs him up into the corner before sending him into the opposite one with such force that Michaels nearly went flying over it and out of the ring. Austin whips Michaels off the ropes and when he comes back, Austin hits the inverted atomic drop. He goes for the cover but Michaels kicks out at two.

Outside the ring, Bladewolf was shown getting to a knee, watching the action when Triple H attacks him from behind, furiously attack him. Bladewolf fights back before he grabs Triple H by the throat, then grabs Chyna before lifting them up...AND PLANTS THEM BOTH WITH A DOUBLE CHOKESLAM ON THE FLOOR!

"Double Chokeslam on the floor!" JR exclaims.

"Are they okay?" Lawler asks with concern.

"Why should you be worried bout them?" JR asks.

"I'm concerned, okay?!" Lawler retorts.

"They shouldn't have gotten involved then!" JR says.

Bladewolf rolls back into the ring in time to see Michaels escape the ring to avoid a Stunner. Austin turns around only to be grabbed by the throat by Bladewolf, who was looking for a Chokeslam but Austin elbows Bladewolf in the side of the head multiple times until Bladewolf releases him from his hold. Bladewolf is Irish Whipped towards the ropes, but the Demon Wolf boots Michaels off the ring apron, sending him down to the floor.

Austin and Bladewolf roll out the ring to go after Michaels, both take their turns in hitting Michaels with right hands before both get him into the ring, laying on the ring apron. Bladewolf heads up before he jumps up...AND HITS A LEG DROP ON THE APRON!

"Good God! That's something the Undertaker does!" JR exclaims.

Austin gets onto the ring apron before he drives his elbow down onto Michaels. All three are back in the ring now as Michaeks was trying to get away on all fours but Austin drives his elbow onto Michaels, causing him to roll onto his back, allowing Bladewolf to hit a leg drop across the WWF Champion's throat. Austin goes for the pin! ONE! TWO-! BLADEWOLF BREAKS IT UP!

Bladewolf picks Austin up and drives him into the corner where the Demon Wolf drives his shoulder repeatedly into Austin's stomach before hitting him with an uppercut that floors the Rattlesnake who is then tossed out of the ring.

Bladewolf turns his attention to Michaels and walks over stomping away on the Champion a few times before he picks him up and Irish Whips him off the ropes straight into a big boot that floors Michaels. Bladewolf flips his hair out his eyes before walking over to Michaels, grabs him by the throat and pulls him to his feet, looking at the cheering fans as Michaels chokes.

Bladewolf suddenly lifts Michaels into a Fireman's Carry, looking for the Wolf's Howl but Michaels slides out and Bladewolf turns around...INTO SWEET CHIN MUSIC!

"Sweet Chin Music!" JR exclaims.

"Woo!" Lawler cheers.

Bladewolf turns into a boot to the gut...THEN THE STONE COLD STUNNER!

"And a Stunner by Stone Cold!" JR exclaims.

"Bladewolf is down!" Lawler adds.

Bladewolf rolls out the ring and Michaels quickly takes Austin down with a leaping right hand before he kicks up. Michales rolls out the ring and dismantles the announce table that wasn't destroyed during the Undertaker vs Kane match. Michaels grabs Bladewolf and with some struggle he gets Bladewolf onto the announce table before rolling back into the ring and heads to the top rope.

"I'm not gonna like this!" Lawler says with wide eyes.

Michaels stands on the top turnbuckles, does the DX Chop before he jumps off...AND HITS THE ELBOW DROP THROUGH THE TABLE

"Elbow drop!" JR exclaims. "My God, Shawn Michaels just hit the Elbow Drop on Bladewolf through our announce table!"

"Are they okay?!" Lawler asks.

"i don't know, King." JR shakes his head.

Austin rolls out the ring and grabs Michaels, focusing on him now that Bladewolf will be out for a while he hopes. Austin tosses Michaels into the ring and rolls in after him. Austin stomps away on the WWF Champion multiple times when Michaels grabs one of Austin's legs and rolls around...AND LOCKS IN THE FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK!

Austin yells in pain as he refuses to tap, Michaels grabbing the ropes without the referee looking. Austin still refuses to tap out or give up no matter how much pain he is in just now.

Austin tries to turn over and reverse the pressure before he does it, causing Michaels to grabs the ropes quickly so the hold can be broken but the damage was done to Austin's leg as Michaels gets to his feet. Austin runs at Michaels but Michaels locks in the sleep hold, trying to wear Austin down.

Austin drives Michaels into the corner but the referee was there and got in the way, getting knocked out but neither Austin nor Michaels cared as Michaels releases Austin. Michaels runs at Austin only to be lifted up and dropped onto the turnbuckle, causing the WWF Champion to stumble around until Austin hits a few right hands before sending the Champion into the corner face first, then gets Michaels into another corner where Austin stomps away on Michaels.

Austin picks Michaels up, Irish Whips him off the ropes and flips Michaels over with a back body drop. Austin grabs Michaels again but Michaels elbows him in the face, rebounds off the ropes and ducks a right from Austin before taking him down with a leaping right hand, but both men were down now...UNTIL MICHAELS KICKS UP!

Michaels walks over to the corner and heads up to the top rope carefully, exhausted from the punishment he's endured from Bladewolf and Austin. Michaels gets to the top rope before he jumps off...AND HITS THE ELBOW DROP ON AUSTIN!

"The Elbow!" JR shouts. "Right into the heart of the Rattlesnake."

Michaels gets to his feet and stands in the corner where he starts to tune up the band. Austin gets to his feet, Michaels goes for Sweet Chin Music, but Austin catches his foot and goes for the Stunner, Michaels shoves him forward...GOES FOR SWEET CHIN MUs-Austin blocks it, turns Michaels around...AND HITS THE STONE COLD STUNNER!

Austin gets to his feet...WHEN BLADEWOLF NAILS A SPEAR OUT OF NOWHERE!

"Where did Bladewolf come from?! Lawler exclaims.

"I do not know! I thought he was down after the Elbow through the table!" JR says.

Bladewolf gets to his feet, grabs Michaels and lifts him onto his shoulders...BEFORE HITTING THE WOLF'S HOWL! HE HOOKS THE LEGS! Mike Tyson slides into the ring and...ONE! TWO! THREE! TYSON MAKES THE COUNT! BLADEWOLF WINS!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

"Bladewolf has done it!" JR exclaims. "Bladewolf is the Champion!"

"Wait a minute! WHAT?!" Lawler said, confused with what just happened.

"The winner of this match and NEW World Wrestling Federation Champion...THE BLADEWOLF!" Howard Finkel announced.

"The Bladewolf Era has begun!" JR stated as Tyson raises Bladewolf's arm and Bladewolf is handed the WWF Championship.

Bladewolf looks at the title with satisfaction that he had what he had wanted and felt he deserved to have after that match with Michaels on the final RAW of 1997. He raises the title before putting it onto his right shoulder.

"He said he was going to do it! He said he was going to walk out of WrestleMania 14 as the WWF Champion and he is doing just that!"

Tyson claps Bladewolf on the back before leaving the ring. Bladewolf looks at his title before he gets to a knee and raises the title as dark blue and dark red lighting bathes the arena. Bladewolf stands to his feet and looks to see Austin standing there. Austin didn't look too happy he lost, but he gives credit where it's due. He extends his hand forward as a sign of respect, one Bladewolf accepts as he shakes Austin's hand.

"Well done, kid." Austin says in George's ear. "Good job."

"Thanks man." George nods.

Austin leaves and Bladewolf stands in the ring, still soaking in all the cheers. Bladewolf looks at the title before flipping it onto his right shoulder then leaves the ring and heads up the aisle, passing the curtain...

And that's it for this chapter everyone and this story. The first one of the revamped series. I promise to not delete this one, but you have to admit that I did have Bladeowlf skip a LOT of things and have it be due to injuries when all those injuries would make someone retire. Besides, Bladewolf could've become one of the top WWE stars in 2000, there was great storylines he could've been aprt of like the Triple H vs Rock feud, then when undertaker returned as American Badass and joined with Kane.
