This is the 33rd chapter of the crossover story. Got Roxy back last night. Before you say anything, she's a dog which happens to be a mix of a German Shepard and a Border Collie. She's right now four years old and she's trained by a dog trainer since she was training to be a service dog. Whenever I got the time to write some of the chapters of three stories, I might be busy working on Roxy for the commands which it's something I have to give her credit that she's a smart dog.

Underworld, Meeting Room
Everyone was assembled in a meeting room used by the Four Devil Kings for their meetings. Upon learning that they were going to fight against the God of Mischief, Loki and his son, Fenrir. Rias had called for everyone to meet with the Four Devil Kings, Azazel with Kalawarner and Mittelt, Michael, Gabriel, the Six Heroes of Gran Pulse, and Odin with his bodyguard Rosswiesse.
"So you want us to fight Loki, the God of Mischief?" Virgil questions.
"You want us to fight that douche-nozzle and his wolf pet?" Issei added with a question, shocked.
"That's correct." Azazel said, leaning back in his chair so casually.
"So this is the Red Dragon Emperor I have been hearing so much about." Odin said as he look at him with interest. "I must say, by all the tales of your exploit, I was kind of expecting something more."
That got Issei in teary eyes which he knew that Odin was right. Rias then spoke up and ask the Allfather.
"Lord Odin, just how did Loki ever join the Khaos Brigade?" Rias questions with her serious expression.
"He only joined the Khaos Brigade to bring Ragnarok in Asgard." Odin explains.
"That make it sound like he has major issues since that little get together." Kuroka clarifies.
"Correct, I've made decision for making an alliance with the Three Faction Leaders and the Six Heroes of Gran Pulse to bring down the Khaos Brigade." Odin nods with an agreement. "But, I was surprised Loki came so quickly to cause havoc."
"And while that's great that Ajuka teleported out of our hair. He'll only be restrained for about a day and you'll bet he's gonna be pissed when he gets back here." Azazel told them with a smirk.
"One day!? That's it!?" Rias exclaimed with her eyes widened with shock.
"Yep." Azazel nods. "And when that happens, we're not gonna have any choice but to fight and head-on. Won't be easy either."
"Because the Four Devils Kings will attack Loki and launch a full-scale war." Virgil said. "That's what Loki wants which we can't risk that."
They were surprised that Virgil was able to know what Loki wants since he was right about Loki wanting a full-scale war and Ragnarok. The gravity of this situation dawning on her and the others why were they chosen for this task. Odin then sighed and rubbing his forehead to prevent a headache coming in.
"Even if Loki is a menace, all of Asgard would cry out for if one of their Gods were attacked by the leaders of the faction like Virgil have told us." Odin said. "We Aesir are a proud people after all and we'll be playing into Loki's hand."
"How so?" Issei questions.
"Loki wants to bring Ragnaork while Khaos Brigade wants to bring pandemonium by disrupting the alliances we are making. Both of them shared something common and it would further their goals." Hope explains. "And the world that we once knew will be destroyed. Nothing would survive."
"Even with the l'Cie and the Red Dragon Emperor on our side, as powerful as they are, it won't be enough to finish the fight as quickly as possible." Odin said, stroking his beard.
"But Lord Odin, we still have to consider Fenrir that Loki has." Ajuka said. "Even if they can hold him down, he will no doubt rip them apart."
"We may have only one thing that can stop Loki." Odin suggests. "A weapon of Asgard that would be powerful enough to stop him and prevent him for bringing Ragnarok. My son's weapon, Mjolnir. I tell him that we'll did for the upcoming fight."
With Mjolnir used, it would save them the trouble of sending Thor out into the battlefield. And if the Aesir understood that this action was done by the Devils and a l'Cie, then they will have no problem of having the Prince of Lies like Loki locked up.
"How long?" Lightning asks.
"It will only take me a day to get there and talk to Thor." Odin answered, not liking the answer.
"If Loki gets out before Mjolnir arrives, we're screwed." Akeno said seriously.
They couldn't help but agree of what Akeno was saying since Loki would come back here and bring down Ragnarok before Mjolnir ever arrives. Rias then came up with an idea as she then spoke to her brother.
"Sirzechs, we'll act as a diversion for Loki in order to but Lord Odin time to have Mjolnir here in the Underworld." Rias told him.
"You want to act as diversion for Loki?" Sirzechs questions seriously.
"I hope you understand I can only teleport about 10 people at once, that's not much." Ajuka told her seriously. "And even with some rest, I'll only be able send out one or two more later. You won't have reinforcements."
"Yes, I'm well aware of the danger involved." Rias said seriously.
Although, she was mostly quiet throughout the meeting, Serafall broke her silence with a smile and giggled.
"That's really sweet, but don't think you and Virgil were the only volunteers." Serafall said with a smile as she then turned her head to look over her shoulder. A door behind her suddenly opened up and standing on the other side were Sona, Tsubaki, Tsubasa, Reya, and Saji. "Right, Sona?"
"You're going?" Rias asks surprisingly.
"The three of us would like to offer for our services as well, if that's alright." Sona stated as she and her four servants walked into the room.
"I'd tried to talk her out of it, but she wouldn't listen." Serafall said with an innocent shrug. However, she didn't try to talk her sister out of it. She then turned to Sirzechs. Then again, this whole mess with Loki is kind of our fault to begin with. So out little sisters being assigned cleanup duty shouldn't give them much objection. Won't look like we're playing favorites, either."
"Since there wasn't any options, I guess we'll have to stay here in the Underworld." Fang said. "We'll act as backup in case if you guys failed to stop Loki and Fido."
"It's not there's much time to object anyway." Azazel stated with a smirk. "That said, there's four people we've decided on."
"You have?" Rias asks.
"Yes, the first one." Michael said seriously when Irina revealed herself, leaving Rias shocked. "I have no doubt she will be an asset to you in the endeavor."
"As you wish." Irina said with a smile, happy to come along to show Virgil, Issei, and Xenovia what she has up in her sleeves. Even though, both Cornelius and Griselda will have to remain behind in the Underworld and act as a backup if the mission failed.
"And the second one." Gabriel said when Tosca revealed herself. "She will also be an asset to you for this upcoming battle."
"As you wish." Tosca said with a smile.
"I will also come along." Kuroka added with a smile. "We may have been fighting together whenever we fought against those monsters a few weeks back, but fighting against Loki will be different."
With her standing by the Allfather, Rossweisse turned her head towards everyone with her serious expression.
"I will be in attendance as well, for Asgard." Rossweisse said.
"Since we all seemed to be an agreement, prepare yourselves to depart shortly. Buy as much time as you possible can." Sirzechs told them seriously.
Underworld, Gremory Estate
The following day, the two peerages of Rias and Sona stood in front of the Gremory Estate. Those that were being left behind came out to wish everyone good luck against the God of Mischief. Going with Virgil and Issei are Rias, Akeno, Kiba, and Xenovia. Irina, Tosca, Kuroka, Sona, Tsubaki, Tsubasa, Reya, and Saji were also coming along. The ones were staying behind and waiting for their return were Asia, Gasper, Six Heroes of Gran Pulse, Former Phenex Servants, Kalawarner, Mittelt, Cornelius, and Griselda.
Virgil have change his Paladin attire into a Knight of Etro, Goddesses Grace shield, and Overture gunblade.
"I'm sorry that we can't bring you with us, but it's just too dangerous." Rias told Asia and Gasper as the two stood with the leaders of the Three Factions, Six Heroes of Gran Pulse, and Virgil's biological parents. "You'll be safer here with the defense force."
"Oh, of course." Asia said with a slight smile before turning to Virgil. She knew that even with her training with her healing abilities, magic training, and combat training, she was nowhere as skilled or as battle-ready as the others. "Listen Virgil, please be careful and come back safe, okay?"
"I will. We all will." Virgil reassured with a smile as he reaches out with his hand to squeeze her shoulder gently. "Look after Gasper."
"This feels like old times, doesn't it?" Irina ask her friend with a smile.
"Yeah, well kind of anyway." Xenovia said. "It might seem weird coming from a Devil, but try to be careful."
"I was about to say the same thing to you." Irina replied with a smirk.
The sound of armored footsteps was heard behind them as they turned around to see Rossweisse in armor. Her armor attire is a Valkyrie armor which consists of white breastplate with gold and pale blue accents and matching fingerless gauntlets, boots, hip-guards, and wing-shaped hair clips. She also wore a black leotard underneath her breastplate, black high-thigh stockings, and a pale blue cloth wrapped underneath her hip-guards, all of which are clad with pink lacing along with her hair clips.
"Guess I'll introduce myself to the team." Rossweisse said. "I should've known things would get out of hand traveling with Odin. I'm the Valkyrie, Rossweisse."
Virgil then turned his body to face her with a smile while giving her a nod. Unknown to them, both Issei and Saji were ogling at the sight of the Valkyris with their perverted grin. Despite being in clad of armor, it still showed her curvy body was.
"You seeing what I'm seeing?" Saji asks with a blush.
"I'm seeing it, that's one Valkyrie I like to ride." Issei said with a blush. "Business suits, suit of armor, or birthday suit I am down."
That got the two into trouble when Rias and Sona pull their ears, causing them to cringe.
"Would you look at the time." Sona said with annoyance.
"Down boy." Rias added with annoyance.
"I've heard stories about your adopted family and their achievements, but never did I think I would meet them in person." Rossweisse said to him.
"And I've heard that Valkyries were the warrior maidens who fought alongside with Odin and guide the dying warriors to Valhalla." Virgil said. "They were fierce and proud warriors of Asgard whom even kings would fall for."
Rossweisse's cheeks then flare up with a few shades of red which she was surprised. Kuroka then grab his cheeks to pull him back, cause him to cringe.
"Virgil, I think that's quite enough of you." Kuroka said, slightly annoyed.
"I was just being nice! Dammit, that smarts!" Virgil winced with pain, leaving Snow, Sazh, and Noel chuckled a bit.
Lightning, Cornelius, and Griselda knew that their son would get himself into trouble sooner or later and he got it.
"Okay kids, just try to be careful out there." Azazel said, standing between Michael, Gabriel, and Sirzechs.
"The time has come." Sirzechs said, prompting Grayfia to walk forward and approach the team. In her hands were an open pouch that had three Phoenix Tears.
"These are Phoenix Tears." Grayfia explained. "Unfortunately, this is all we could obtain on short notice."
This doesn't go well for Virgil as he narrow his eyes, but he remembered that Ravel have given him during the ball which it was still in his pocket. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled the capsule and opened it, revealing a single Phoenix Tears in it. He then remembered that he got some pouch of Phoenix Tears since his 18th birthday as he then reached his back pouch, revealed there were only three more Phoenix Tears. He then placed the fourth Phoenix Tears in his back pouch, keeping it handy in case if things are getting bad.
"They may not look like much, but there good to have." Sirzechs said in a neutral tone. "Especially since you won't have a Bishops healing powers."
"Thank you, that's a good idea." Rias said when she took the pouch in her hands and closed it, putting it away.
"Just remember to keep your guard up out there." Sirzechs warned them.
"We will." Rias nodded her brother.
As everyone was ready to depart, one of them was lost in her thoughts. At first, Koneko was going to be one of the few that would stay behind while the others would fight against Loki. However, yesterday she approached Rias and demanded to come along which it more likely begging. Eventually, Rias allowed her. She then grabbed Virgil's white feather and tugged it.
"Hey Virgil." Koneko called him, slightly looking down. Virgil turned and looked down at her. "If I was scared, what would you say to me?"
Virgil smiled and place his hand on her head, rubbing it softly for a bit as she looked at him.
"I'd say that you've got nothing to fear, Koneko. You're not alone, we're all here for you. We'll be there for you if anything happens." Virgil told her with his gentle tone, causing her to blush.
"I gotta say I'm impressed, Virgil." Akeno said with a finger on her cheek and smiled. "With smooth-talking like that, she won't be able to deny her feelings much longer."
"Mind your own business!?" Virgil exclaims with a blush.
"Whoa dude, calm down." Issei assures him. "I get it that you don't like Akeno, but you know she's always like that."
Virgil then sighed which he know Akeno was just teasing him which it was annoying to him. However, he noticed Akeno turned away when her smile disappeared since she couldn't stop thinking about her father.
"Alright, off you go." Ajuka told them.
With that, Ajuka then use his magic to teleport everyone to the location where the Prince of Lies was at.
Underworld
When everyone stepped out of the portal, it closes behind them. A cold gust of wind hit them and those in summer uniforms were affected the most, but it was bearable for the most part. Virgil knew that they were in a rocky area where the sky was dark green with gray clouds.
In front of everyone was a green pyramid that was looking oddly beautiful, but it won't last long. Once the seal was released, the God of Mischief and his son Fenrir will be enraged and a battle between Devils, l'Cie, mortals, and god will be one hell of a fight.
"The seal won't last much longer." Rias informed seriously.
"Sure won't." Sona agrees with her stoic expression when they saw the green pyramid was glowing blue which it was about to be broken.
"I don't about you, but I'm not digging this." Saji said when he stood beside Issei and Virgil. "We just finish training and we're fighting a god. That's nuts."
"Don't waver just yet, Saji." Tsubasa said with a smile of engagement. "We're still fighting for Sona here and there's no way any of us are gonna let her down."
"Right, we've still gotta help her with her dream." Saji said with a grin.
"A dream? What do you mean?" Virgil asks with confusion as Reya turned her head to him with a smile.
"Sona wants to build a school in the Underworld where Low-Class Devils are welcomed, so they can play the Rating Game." Reya explains.
"Wow, that'd be cool." Issei said with amazement. "Although, I don't get how that has anything to do with fighting Loki?"
"Yeah, why bringing that up?" Virgil added with a question.
"A lot of Devils hate her idea, because it goes against the Class System." Saji explains. "They're not big of any kind of change."
"Guess there's no rags to riches for Devils." Issei muttered.
"Yeah, and mixing with mythologies won't even open their minds." Saji agrees.
"I see. If Loki had got what he wanted, then her goal will be for nothing." Virgil said seriously.
He was brought out of his thoughts when Tsubasa lightly punched him in the shoulder.
"It'll be a lot of fun." Tsubasa said with a smile. "I like working with those kids, so I'll be teaching there.
"Yeah, I guess. I'll be a teacher at the school too." Saji said as he turned to Issei and Virgil. "That's why I'm standing here in this nightmare right now. I don't care if they're a God or a stuck-up Devil, I swear we'll own anyone who gets in our way."
"Yeah, and I'll be right there with you." Issei said with a smirk, pumping his fist.
Virgil couldn't help but admire Sona when she stares at the pyramid with Rias which he saw the resolve within her. She's fighting an uphill battle and if Loki have got what he wanted, that dream would be shattered.
"He's coming!" Rias warned, making them snapped out of their stupor.
Suddenly, the pyramid is lifting off the ground, revealing it to be a giant diamond-shaped prison that Ajuka traded him in. It glows brighter and brighter before it shattered like glass into a thousand pieces, all falling to the rocky floor as Loki revealed himself.
"Well that was annoying. Not to mention rude." Loki said with annoying expression on his face when he was floating in the air where his prison once was.
"Hear me, Loki!" Rossweisse shouted as she stood in front of the others. Attacking the Allfather is unforgivable! If you have a problem, you should file your complaint through the proper channels!"
"And who will unforgive me, you? Please, talented though you may be, you cannot challenge a God." Loki said arrogantly.
"You were always such a spoiled brat." Rossweisse muttered with a glare before she looked to see Virgil walk past her and stood up front, glaring at Loki.
"What do you hope to gain when you form an alliance with Khaos Brigade?" Virgil asked. "Was Ragnarok really important to you that you would so far end the Underworld and this world on Earth."
"They were the only ones who could aid me while others refused." Loki answered simply with a smirk. "Once Ragnarok begins, I will create a world of my own, one in which the foolish machinations of Odin and once all of the Aesir, Devils, Angels, and Fallen Angels are gone, only I shall remain and I will rule the World of Asgard."
"If you think that we'll let you cause Ragnaork, then you're dumber than you look." Virgil said with a glare. "True that not many of the Three Factions won't accept changes since the beginning of the alliance and yeah, they may cause trouble, but they won't understand what the alliance was about. Not even a jackass like you will understand since all you care about was to cause trouble and raving about Ragnarok."
That got Loki really angry and Rossweisse shocked when Virgil have made a mockery out of the Prince of Lies as he spoke.
"I'm about had enough of your insolence." Loki said. "Mark my words, you will pay for this insolence."
"Then it appears the Khaos Brigade have chose the wrong fool. The only fool who I see, is you!?" Virgil yelled with a scowl, causing Loki to further getting angry.
Lights soon appear behind Loki which suddenly crash into the ground beneath him. When the smoke clears, out stood was Fenrir ready to fight.
"Fenrir!" Rossweisse exclaimed with shock.
However, Fenrir didn't come alone as two more lights appeared on both sides before they exploded to real two identical wolves which neither of them were as tall as Fenrir. One of the wolf has darker grey fur while the other has greyish blue fur similar to Fenrir's if not slightly darker, but both of them possesses the same two golden horns from there shoulders.
"And his runts, Hati and Skoll too." Rossweisse added seriously. "Could this get any worse?"
Loki then laugh as he then raise his hand into the air as thunder cloud appears from above. A massive bolt of lightning struck the ground, causing an explosion when the dust cloud clears, revealed a grey Eastern Dragon with an enormous body measuring around 500-600 meters in length.
"The Midgard Serpent is worse, it's one of the Five Dragon Kings." Rias said with a scowl.
"You just had to ask, do you?" Virgil questions with his deadpan expression when he turned to Rossweisse.
"Did we plan on there being legendary monsters?" Irina asked fearfully as both Hati and Skoll move around the group, surrounding them.
"No we didn't, though I really should've known better." Rossweisse muttered as Issei walk past her.
"Hey guys, we're surrounded now!?" Saji exclaimed.
"Will you suck it up!?" Rias shouts with her authoritative tone. "Our families are counting on us to keep Loki at bay. So, that is exactly what we are going to do."
"Right." Everyone agrees in unison.
"Touching sentiment, but I must tell you it will never work." Loki said with a smirk.
With that, Migardsomnr, Fenrir, Hati, and Skoll take off and charge the group.
Virgil then began to use his paradigm to synergist.
"Vigilance" Virgil then enhance their alertness.
"Faithra" Virgil then enhance their speed.
"Protectra" Virgil then raise their physical resistance as he then use his paradigm to switch synergist to ravager while unleash his crystal from his chest.
"TWILIGHT ODIN"
Virgil then summoned his Eidolon as Twilight Odin then use its shield to block Fenrir's path, pushing the giant wolf out of its way. Loki was shocked when he saw Twilight Odin fighting against Fenrir. Virgil then drew out his Overture gunblade as he charge after Fenrir.
"Ready bro?" Issei rhetorically questions seriously.
"Yeah, it's time to put our training to good use." Saji said seriously.
"Rias/Sona." Saji and Issei called their masters in unison, earned a nod from them since they have their permission. "Promotion: Queen"
With that, both Saji and Issei were promoted to Queen.
"BALANCE BREAKER" Issei's body was cloaked in his red dragon aura.
[Welsh Dragon: BALANCE BREAKER]
The voice of Ddraig echoed the field as he was merged in his Red Dragon Emperor armor. Issei spreads his dragon wings and jumps high into the air as he then glare at Loki who seemed bored.
"Oh my, the Red Dragon Emperor and yet I'm still disappointed." Loki said with a smirk.
He then snap his fingers as the magic circle appeared in front of him and magical blue darts were sent into his directions, but Issei manage to block them off with his gauntlet.
"Sticks and stones, dude. Three weeks, I trained for crap like this and that's the best you've got?" Issei said with a smirk.
Loki then snapped his fingers to call out his son as Fenrir then leapt with its paws straightened out, but Twilight Odin manage to block his way as it swipe Fenrir with his shield and slash him with its double-edge swords. Virgil then use his Anti-Gravity device to leap after Loki, deliver him a Flamestrike that was channeled through his shield, sent him flying with his burnt mark on his face.
"Thundaga: Thunderfall" Virgil then unleash his lightning magic to struck Loki who holds back the lightning strike despite the power pushing him back.
"I see, so you're the Champion of Etro." Loki observed. "I'm impressed, but it was not enough to harm me."
"Wanna bet?" Virgil said with a smirk. "Thundara: Thunderclap"
Virgil then began his lightning slash combo while use his paradigm to switch ravager to commando.
"Crushing Blow" Virgil then began to use his slash combo, causing Loki to grit his teeth.
"Cosmic Art" Virgil then use his slash combo while finished him with his Ruinga, sent him crashing down to the rocky cliff as he then grew irritated.
Fenrir was about to help his father, but was stopped and knocked out of the way by Twilight Odin, Kiba, and Xenovia while they slashed him.
"Thanks for the save, Virgil." Issei thanked him, giving him a thumb up.
"No problem, but don't make a habit of leaving yourself open." Virgil told him.
"Yeah, I'll keep that in mind." Issei said with a nervous chuckle.
"Leave this beast to the Knights. Let's go, Durandal!" Xenovia shouts when she raise her sword into the air and slashes it down, sending a massive wave of energy towards Fenrir.
"Taste my Sword Birth!" Kiba shouts as he stabbed his Sword of Betrayer into the ground.
Soon the blades of all the holy-demonic swords sprout out from the ground and stab at the body, pushing him back into the rocks before Xenovia's energy wave crashes into him. Twilight Odin then unleashed it's Thundaga at Fenrir.
Issei then rallies back up to Virgil when he saw him charging after Loki with his gunblade.
"Army of One" Virgil then spin towards him while slashing, performing a combo of slashes and gunshots, knocking him out.
"Man, Kiba, Xenovia, and Virgil have gotten a lot stronger, but so am I!?" Issei exclaims as he then began unleash the orb of light. "Dragon Shot"
Issei then fires the beam of light at Fenrir when Kiba and Xenovia moved out of his way.
"Down you go." Koneko shouts when she slammed one of the wolves down to the ground while Kuroka then threw the fireballs at the wolf.
Meanwhile, Rias, Akeno, Sona, and Tsubaki were left standing in front of Midgardsomnr, the Midgard Serpent eyeing on their location.
"Figures we'd be left with that biggest one." Rias said.
Akeno then began to send her lightning at the Midgard Serpent, leaving it roar with pain when it was struck by lightning. Despite not enough to bring it down, it was enough to get it's attention and really angry. In retaliation, it unleashes the breath of onto the Devils, forcing them to take flight.
'Pathetic, I barely did anything.' Akeno mentally thought.
"You know what they say about playing with fire!" Tsubaki said as she then activates her Sacred Gear. "Mirror Alice"
Forming a large full-body mirror in front of her body, she sent the column of fire right back at the Midgard Serpent, setting the dragon ablaze before the Mirror Alice broke into pieces. Sona approaches Rias as she spoke.
"That's Tsubaki's Sacred Gear." Sona told her. "When the Mirror Alice shatters when taking hit, it reflects the attack back the enemy with twice the power."
"Thanks for the heads up." Rias said with her amused smirk. "A countering gear like that could spell big trouble for an offensive team like mine."
"Desperate times. Planned to save it for our game." Sona said.
"I see. Well then, I'm happy to return the favor for you." Rias said as she then began to unleash her Power of Destruction at the Midgard Serpent.
"Well, as long as we're feeling generous." Sona said as she then began to unleash her water magic.
From it was a giant serpent made of water emerges as it bites down on Midgardsomnr, dragging it down to the ground. However, the Midgard Serpent uses it magic to evaporate the water serpent, destroying it and creating a cloud of mist.
"Okay, so it's resilient." Rias commented, shielding her face with her arm from the incoming mist.
Sona turned her back around to look at her while taking off her glasses while wiping the lens with a white cloth.
"Good thing we're only trying to buy time." Sona said. "Cuz' beating this thing is way out of our pay grade."
"You're always so optimist." Rias said with a smile.
Rossweisse, Irina, Tsubasa, Reya, and Tosca were busy dealing with the other son of Fenrir. Skoll was growling at the girls.
"Don't underestimate these dogs. Their bite are much worse than there bark." Rossweisse warned them.
"That's what I wanted to hear. No reason to hold back." Irina said with a smile.
"Agreed." Tsubasa added with a smirk, readied her fighting stance.
"Irina, remember you and Tosca are still only human! These guys have you outclassed!" Xenovia warned her.
"I think you're mistaken." Irina said with a smile before bringing her hands together as a red 'A' printed on her right hand started to glow through her long leather glove. "How about I show you the new me!?"
With that, Irina jumps into the air while revealing her white angelic wings from her back and her halo above her head. Tosca then revealed a red 'J' print on her right hand while revealing her white wings on her back and a halo above her head.
"So that was unexpected." Kiba said with bewilderment.
"Since when did Irina and Tosca became angels!?" Issei exclaims with shock.
"Yeah, what gives!?" Virgil added with shock.
"It kind of a long story." Irina smiles at her friends. She then raises her arm and points her finger in the air. From the tip of her finger, she summons a glowing white halo. "Alright, bad dog! Now, by the blessing of Lord Michael, I've been reincarnated as an angel to provide Divine Retribution and Holy Wrath! So repent, Amen!"
Irina throws her light halo at Skoll, wrapping it around its neck and causing the wolf Jotunn to fall a nearby mountain. Taking advantage of the situation Skoll was in, Tosca then raise her Holy Gun and fire the light-enhanced bullet in the head while Rossweisse summons her magic circle and blast at the wolf.
"I guess these two couldn't take a hit as well as their dad." Rossweisse commented.
"Yay me!" Irina cheered with a smirk.
"Did she say, reincarnated?" Xenovia asks shockingly.
Issei and Virgil then rallied over to aid the Nekoshou sisters against Hati.
"Angel or not, she hasn't changed one bit." Issei said with dull expression.
"Which that part of her was annoying." Virgil added with annoyance.
"We'll take care of Fenrir!" Kiba shouts with his serious expression while holding Fenrir with his Sword Birth. "You get the other mutt!"
Virgil gave him a nod as he stands right next to Koneko, Issei, and Kuroka as they face off against Hati as the wolf growls.
"Ready to put Fido down?" Virgil asked, readied his gunblade.
"Yeah, let's put him down." Issei shouts as they began to fight Hati.
Both Koneko and Kuroka began to give them support when they threw fireballs at Hati while Issei then punched the wolf. Virgil use his paradigm to switch commando to ravager as he then use his combination in between Flamestrike, Sparkstrike, and Froststrike.
Irina, Rossweisse, Tsubasa, Reya and Tosca were having trouble fighting against Skoll since they're holding the wolf off.
Kiba, Xenovia, and Twilight Odin were keeping Fenrir busy, but having a bit of a struggle.
Akeno, Rias, Sona, and Tsubaki were holding the Midgard Serpent since they're kept using their magic.
"They have done rather well for a group of weaklings." Loki said with bored expression, but shocked when he saw Saji's Absorption Line as he then flew back.
"You underestimated us. Big mistake." Saji said with a smirk reattracted his Sacred Gear.
"The only 'big' is your talk, little boy." Loki retorts.
"You need to work on your comebacks man, there pretty lame." Saji told him.
"Noted." Loki said as he unleash his magic circle, firing the magical bullets as Saji.
"Saji." Sona said, looking at her Pawn.
"Saji!" Issei shouts, glaring at Loki. "You bastard!"
"Pay attention!" Koneko warned him, making him snap out of his thoughts.
Issei turns his right to see Hati lunging at him with its jaws open to bite down on the Red Dragon Emperor. However, both Virgil and Koneko were able to knock the wolf out of his way.
"Firaga: Dragon's Tooth" Virgil then conjure a dragon fang with fire, hurling at Hati as it pierce the heart while Koneko then kicked it's jaws and Kuroka then fire her chi at it, leaving Hati crash down to the ground. Koneko and Virgil began to finish it off. Koneko imbued her fist with fire as she punches Hati.
"Blizzaga: Diamond Dust" Virgil then unleash the blizzard at Hati as the ice spikes sprouts out of the ground, impaling the wolf and resulting it dead.
"Nice." Issei said with a smirk.
"That's one down and four to go." Virgil said.
"I still have long ways to go by mastering my ability." Koneko said as she turned to Virgil. "You said you're here for me. Well I'm for you too."
Virgil then gave her a nod with a smile on his face.
Back at the Midgard Serpent, Akeno was standing on the ledge after seeing what Koneko and Virgil can do. She was amazed and impressed, noticed that Koneko have gotten stronger by accepting herself and the power she just had. Virgil have gotten much stronger since the time in Gran Pulse and his previous fights which made him battle-experienced. She then turn to Midgarsomnr with determination in her eyes.
"I am the daughter of Shuri and Baraqiel Himejima, a Fallen Angel!" Akeno shouts as she jumps into the air as the Midgard Serpent lunges its at her with its jaws open, attempting to bite her.
Then, Akeno did the unthinkable when she sprouts both of her wings, one Devil and the other Fallen Angel.
"But also, I am the Devil Queen of Rias Gremory, Akeno Himejima!" Akeno yelled.
Both Virgil and Issei stops while watching from the ground, smiling happily of seeing Akeno overcome her personal hatred of her heritage.
"You can do it." Issei said.
"Thunderbolt!" Akeno shouts as she points her finger towards the sky. Up above was her magic circle as lightning rains down, gathering in the palm of her hands. Then with her other hand, she infuse the lightning with Holy Lightning of her Fallen Angel origins. With both of her lightning fuse together, she blasts them towards Midgarsomnr, causing the Midgard Serpent to roar in agony as it suffers from both bolts of lightning before crashing into the ground.
From where Rias stood, she watched her childhood friend took down Midgardsomnr with a smile on her face. She was proud of her, having come a long way to overcome her fear and her hatred of her Fallen Angel heritage.
"You did it." Rias said, wiping away a tear from her cheek. "You finally put it behind you. I'm so proud."
Skoll was then killed by Rossweisse, Irina, Tosca, Tsubasa, and Reya since they were able to fight them. Xenovia, Kiba, and Twilight Odin were still holding Fenrir since the giant wolf was trying to pry its way out.
From above, Loki was disappointed that both of his grandsons were killed and his son was having trouble.
"I smell teenage danks. How disgustingly cliche." Loki said.
"Lord Loki!" Rossweisse called his name when she floats in the air behind the Prince of Lies. "It isn't too late to apologize! The Allfather may still forgive you-"
"But before, you said I was unforgivable." Loki interrupts with a smirk, turned to her. "And why should I be the one to apologize when he's clearly in the wrong?"
"You leave me no choice!" Rossweisse proclaimed with a scoff when she summons twelve magic Nordic circles, firing the magic bullets at Loki, but he deflected them when he was caught by Saji's Absorption Line, causing him to turn his head to him.
"I caught a big one." Saji said with a chuckle, leaving Sona relieved to see him alive.
"Saji, that was awesome!" Issei exclaims.
"Nice work, Saji." Virgil said with a smile.
"I'm fighting for a school out here, man. This ain't nothing." Saji exclaimed with a smirk.
"I guess that kind of talk makes you my best frenemy." Issei said.
"Oh please, this can't hold me." Loki said with annoyance when he summons his magic circle to break free, but nothing happened, much to his surprise. "But how!? Why didn't it break!?"
Saji grins as a purple glowing light shines around his arms and legs before disappearing, revealing his partial armor of the Absorption Line.
"Azazel give me an upgrade this past month." Saji explained while closing his left eye, revealed what appeared to be a dragon's eye. "Now all of Vritra-type Sacred are at my disposal."
From his Sacred Gear was a jet-black flame with a hint of purple mixed into it travels up the line towards Loki.
"Ah, so these are the Vritra dragons dark flames." Loki said, looking at the flame which it doesn't harm him.
"Damn straight! And even a God can't shrug off my curse power like it's no biggie." Saji exclaimed.
"Perhaps you have higher-expectations of us." Sona said with a smirk. "Just give it up, Loki."
"Hot damn! I should've known Azazel have pulled out all the stops." Issei exclaims. "Alright!? You're done!?"
"It's over Loki! You're finished!?" Virgil yelled.
"Such outstanding arrogance!?" Loki yelled as the flames around him has vanished and a bright light surrounds his body, causing the Absorption Line to break free as the entire sky was lit up with blue light. Everyone look at the sky as lightning flashes from the clouds and the wind began to blow harshly with enough force to shatter rocks.
"Lord Loki, stop!" Rossweisse pleaded to the God of Mischief. "Please, I beg you! At this rate, you'll destroy not only the Underworld, but the Mythological Worlds as well!"
"Which is exactly what I want, dear!" Loki said with a smirk as the gale force picked up speed. Using his powers to turn the storm into a hailstorm with large chunks of ice falling from the sky.
Issei then rush towards Rias as he covers her, making himself a shield while Virgil told the Nekoshou sisters to get behind him as he use his paradigm to switch ravager to sentinel, activating his Steelguard to protect the girls.
"Ragnarok is coming! This moment is what I've been working toward from the beginning!" Loki proclaimed victoriously.
"How can he do this!?" Rias shouted over the rushing winds as Issei keeps her covered.
A few meters away, Rossweisse takes shelter behind a boulder as she look around to see the destruction that the Prince of Lies caused.
"He's strong enough, even destroy Hell! He's a God!" Rossweisse shouts.
The others weren't lucky when Kiba was struck by an ice block and was forced to release Fenrir as Xenovia then pulled him away from the area as the storm suddenly ceased and Fenrir was then free.
"Oh, don't be like that! This is the dawning of-"
"Artemis's Arrows" Virgil then began to leap towards Loki when he used his Anti-Gravity device and use his paradigm to switch sentinel to commando. He then began to give him a lightning slash combo, leaving him scream with agony.
"Army of One Evolved" Virgil then spins his body while slashing, performing a combo of lightning slashes and gunshots.
"Lightning Strikes" Virgil then conjure a horizontal line of lightning bolts to strike Loki, causing him to scream with pain.
Loki was crash down to the ground, feeling the numbness of electricity and the slash wound. He then look at Virgil with a glare.
"You dare interrupt the Ragnarok!? You will pay for that insolence, boy!?" Loki yelled with anger.
He then saw Fenrir being tossed by Twilight Odin when it bash the giant wolf with the shield while flash-step towards it, fatally slash Fenrir as it collapse down to the ground.
"What!? Impossible!? How could your monster be eligible to slay my son!?" Loki exclaimed with shock.
"First, that monster happens to be my Eidolon, Twilight Odin." Virgil corrected the Prince of Lies. "Second, I'm not just a Champion of Etro, I'm the son of the Six Heroes of Gran Pulse and the two Brave Saints, Lightning Farron, Cornelius Quarta, and Griselda Quarta. Also, I'm a l'Cie, Virgil Farron."
Rossweisse then got a transmission from Odin as she spoke.
"Yes, I understand." Rossweisse said after letting down her left hand from her earpiece after ending transmission. "I've got good news guys!"
The sky soon lit up with a brilliant blue magical seal and out of it came a massive hammer that has a black outer frame with a blue structure throughout its entire design from the head to the handle. There is a Norse symbol on its middle piece. The hammer was floating down to the sky.
"Wha-What that hell is that!?" Issei exclaims with shock.
"It's the mighty Thor's weapon of choice!" Rossweisse answered. "With the single swing, the God of Thunder reigns down Divine Punishment."
"Mjolnir!?" Loki exclaims with worry.
Rossweisse then got a transmission from Odin.
"Right." Rossweisse said as she ends the transmission, turned to Issei. "Odin sends the message. Give Mjolnir to the Red Dragon Emperor, he's the only one there powerful enough to wield it."
"No shit!?" Issei exclaims.
"I'll kill you all!?" Loki yelled, but got caught by Saji's Absorption Line.
"Where are you going?" Saji shouts with a question.
"All yours." Rias said seriously, leaving Issei excited.
Issei then charge towards Mjolnir as he was about to get Mjolnir, but Fenrir use its last strength to charge the Red Dragon Emperor as was about to bite Issei, causing him to scream with agony.
"Issei, no!" Rias yelled with horrified shock.
Fenrir then toss Issei towards the ground while Kiba and Xenovia then began to fight the giant wolf. Issei's Balance Breaker was disintegrated, revealing the multiple bite marks that were bleeding out profusely. He was then crashed towards the rocky wall and crashed down towards the ground. Rias then rush over towards him while Mjolnir then crash down to the ground.
"Hang in there, Issei! You'll be okay! Come on!" Rias said, shedding tears.
"I'm...I'm so sorry...I almost had him...My bad..." Issei said weakly.
Virgil then toss the Phoenix Tear to Rias as she caught the vial while looking at him.
"It's best you give it to him while he still lives, Rias." Virgil told her with a scowl. "I'll give him what he wants."
Rias knew what Virgil meant as she give him a nod as Issei spoke.
"Hey Virgil...Give him hell for me..." Issei said with a weak smile.
Virgil then give him a nod as he then look at Loki with his dark glare.
"You really shouldn't get all worked up." Loki said with his arrogant smirk. "After all, Ragnarok will rejoin with him soon."
"Loki!" Virgil called his name with his dark tone, earned his attention. "You want Ragnarok, I'll give you Ragnarok!?"
Virgil then began using his paradigm to switch commando to ravager.
"Thundaga: Savage Thunderstorm" Virgil then began to call out the thunderstorm as the thunder began to scatter the strikes, striking Fenrir and Loki, leaving him scream with pain.
Virgil then use his paradigm to switch ravager to synergist.
"Enthunder" Virgil then increase his lightning attribute as he then use his paradigm to switch synergist to commando as he then use his Anti-Gravity Device to leap after him with his blinding speed.
"Heavy Slash" Virgil then unleash his flurry of powerful slashes, sent him flying.
Twilight Odin then joins the fray when the Eidolon then unleash Thundaga to strike Loki, leaving him shock with electricity while using Skyward Swing to combo slash him and launches him.
"Lightning Blitz" Virgil then use his lightning slash combo at Loki.
Loki was then sent flying towards the ground, coughing a bit of his blood as he look at Virgil with a scowl.
"We do this together! Gestalt Mode!"
Twilight Odin then began to transform into a horse, leaving Virgil grab hold of the double-edged swords while riding on its back. He then detach the double-edged swords, readied to fight.
"How intriguing." Loki said with a smirk. "A monster that transformed into a horse.
Virgil then charge after Loki as the God of Mischief then form a magical barrier to defend himself, but Virgil manage to penetrate and use his Razor Gale to slash him, leaving him scream with pain as his expression formed into disbelief. Virgil then use the Thunderfall to struck him down.
Fenrir then pry himself out of its way as the giant wolf then charge after Virgil, ready to pounce him while planning to bite him, but Twilight Odin then kicked to wolf with its hooves while Virgil then slashed it, much to everyone's amazement when Fenrir was sent flying towards the rocky cliff, leaving him knocked out.
Virgil then look at Loki with his pure anger when he saw the Prince of Lies heavily wounded and shocked from the electric. Everyone observed with silent, somewhat terrified of Virgil's anger with the way he fight against Loki. Issei was all healed up thanks to the vial of Phoenix Tears, but he felt guilty that his death state caused his friend to get angry.
Growing irritated, Loki summons a large blast of magic. Virgil then reattach the double-edged blade as he then throws it at the magic projectile, causing it destroyed and stike Loki down with the Lightning Strikes, causing him to shout with pain when he felt the electricity and slashed. Virgil then charge after him with the Razor Gale to slash him once more.
"The storm is here!"
Virgil shouts when he readied his double-edged swords as he then flash-stepped Loki.
"Zantetsuken"
Loki was then slashed by Virgil as he then crashes down toward the ground, leaving him fatally wounded when Virgil then doing one last thing before Twilight Odin departs as he then grab hold of Mjolnir. The hammer was then grew into size and formed into the similar appearance of the double-edged swords, gained a dark green and grey themed designed. The two ends used for attacking grew razor wing blades, one for each corner.
"You don't have to this, I surrender!?" Loki cried with alarm when Virgil was still riding on Twilight Odin. "Please...I'll do anything!? You don't have to do this!?"
Virgil then stopped as he look at him with anger.
"I promise, I won't cause Ragnarok!? Please, don't seal me!?" Loki pleads. "I'll tell you where the Khaos Brigade was hiding!?"
Virgil knew that Loki would try and cause Ragnarok as he then spoke.
"Go to hell." Virgil said with his dark tone as he then use Mjolnir to slam him, piercing his torso, leaving him coughed a bit of his blood. He then glared at the l'Cie as an array of sealing circles converged into him.
Virgil then relinquished his hold of Mjolnir, allowing it to revert to its usual form while returning the double-edged blade to Twilight Odin as the Eidolon then departs. He then turned to his friends with anger, causing them to tense up in apprehension. The Midgard Serpent then rises up to attack once more, but Virgil then use his Anti-Gravity Device to decapitate the head, leaving it exploded and vanished.
Virgil then panted heavily which it not fatigue, it was anger as Koneko then dismiss her nekoshou features while moving to her friend. Kuroka then joined her sister while heading towards him.
"Virgil, it's over, we've won this fight." Koneko told him. "You don't have to be angry."
"She's right, dude." Issei agrees, earned his attention. "I get it you're mad after what Loki did, I understand that."
Virgil then soften his expression as the Nekoshou sisters then began to embrace him with comfort. He then embrace them in return, the rest of his friends felt relieved as they then regroup and wait for Ajuka to bring them back to the Gremory Estate.
That's it for the 33rd chapter. Sorry about the delay, I have to work with Roxy since she still have a long way to go for becoming a service dog for my brother. Reason is because he had a seizure a decade back which he had it more than once. He was on medical pills and right now, I have to keep an eye on him in case he was about to have a seizure.
