Three girls, who were wearing the Akatsuki cloaks. The first one had white hair that was in a high ponytail. She had dark blue eye shadow and dark blue nails. The second one had long brown hair with yellow eyes and dark purple eye shadow. The last one had puffy purple hair with blue eyes and red eyeshadow. The white-haired girl had a hidden mist village headband around her neck with a line across the metal plating. The brown-haired girl had a hidden leaf headband on her head with a line across the metal plating. The purple haired girls had a hidden cloud headband on her head with a line across lining.
"How much longer until we find that Jinchuriki, Icy?" The purpled haired girl asked
"Soon Stormy, we're almost there" Icy said
"This is a really boring mission" The browned hair girl said
"Relax Darcy, I'm sure there'll be some excitement once we get there" Icy said
"Who would've thought that there would be a jinchuriki in the hidden waterfall village?" Darcy said
"I wouldn't have guessed that, but our leader trusted us to get this one and we will" Stormy said
The three of them then made it to the village and saw that it looked like a normal village.
"This doesn't look like a village where ninja live" Darcy said
"They would be helpless if an attack were to occur" Stormy said
"Focus sisters, our job is to find the Jinchuriki" Icy said
They traveled through the village to it a mountaintop where they saw a girl with short green haired girl sitting there. She turned around and saw that there were three ladies there with some weird cloaks.
"Wow! It's been a while since someone came here. You want to be friends?" The girl asked
"Your name is Fu, right?" Icy asked
The green haired girl was surprised that they already knew her name.
"How do you know my name?" Fu asked
"We have information on you" Stormy said
"You're the jinchuriki of the seven tails" Darcy said
Fu was shocked again. She never told anyone about her tailed beast besides her very close friends.
"How do you know that?" Fu asked
"We have our resources but we're going to need you to come with us. The Akatsuki needs your power" Icy said
Fu then looked at them again and saw their cloaks.
"Akatsuki?! You're that organization that's been capturing jinchuriki!" Fu said
"So you already know about us, then come with us" Darcy said
"Forget it! You're not getting me to come with you" Fu said
The three girls then started to laugh, and this confused Fu.
"What's so funny?" Fu asked
"You don't seem to understand. You don't have a choice" Darcy said
"You're coming with us whether you want to or not" Stormy said
"Now then we can either do this the easy way or the hard way, the choice is yours" Icy said
Fu glared at them and then did some hand signs before releasing a jutsu.
"Ninja art: Silk trap"
Fu unleashed a sticky silk from her mouth, and it was heading towards the trio.
"Looks like she's choosing the hard way" Stormy said
"Let's show her, Icy" Darcy said
"Gladly" Icy said as she made some signs.
"Ice style: Blizzard strike"
Icy sent a blizzard at Fu. It froze and overpowered Fu's jutsu. The jinchuriki was hit by the jutsu and her legs encased in ice. She punched the ice and broke free. She then grew some insect wings flew up into the air.
"Ninja art: Scale powder"
Her wings released some bright white powder that was capable temporarily blinding someone.
"You're up Stormy" Icy said
"I'll enjoy this" Stormy said as she released her jutsu.
"Storm style: Electric twister"
Stormy unleashed an electrical twister. The scales were blown away and Fu found herself caught in the twister and was electrocuted and tossed around before slamming into the ground.
Fu stood up and tried to fight back with another jutsu.
"Ninja art: Ball of sticky silk"
Fu unleashed a ball of silk at the trio.
"Darcy" Icy said
"I got this" Darcy said
Darcy's body glowed red and absorbed the technique.
"Huh?!" Fu asked in shock
Darcy then unleashed a ball of chakra that was twice the size of Fu's jutsu.
The jinchuriki tried to fly away but she was stuck. She saw that her wings were frozen along with her legs. She looked back and saw that it was Icy who had caused this.
"Ice style: Frozen moisture"
The moisture surrounding Fu was freezing in place and it froze her body in place. She gasped and was hit by the ball of chakra that Darcy threw at her. she fell down the mountain and fell into the river.
Fu was unconscious in the river until a small whirlwind lifted her up and she fell into the grasp of Stormy.
"Capture complete" Stormy said
"Let's go then" Darcy said
"We need to take an alternate route sisters since there are many villagers around. We need to keep a low profile" Icy said
The other two nodded and moved along a different path.
Icy then brought up her ring and their leader appeared as a hologram.
"Did you find the jinchuriki?" The leader asked
"Not only did we find her we captured her as well" Icy said
"Well done, now go to the nearest base and we'll discuss your next mission, since we our members are dropping one by one" The leader said.
"Dropping? What do you mean?" Darcy asked
"Kakazu and Hidan were defeated by the ninjas of the hidden leaf" The leader said
"Kakazu and Hidan? I didn't expect them to be the type of people to be defeated" Stormy said
"First its Sasori, then it's followed by Deidara, Kakazu and Hidan" Icy said
"Kisame and Itachi had already captured the four tails" The leader said
"No surprise there, those two are practically the strongest members of the Akatsuki" Stormy said
They made it back to the hideout and sealed the seven tails.
Meanwhile at the hidden leaf Tsunade asked for a large group of shinobi to go after Itachi Uchiha. It was Sai, Kakashi, Yamato, Kiba and Akamrau, Sakura, Naruto, Shino, Flora, Bloom, Musa, Hinata, and Daphne.
"Do we really need this many people going on this mission?" Shizune asked
"Itachi is a member of the Akatsuki and is recognized as one of it's strongest members. I wanted to assemble the strongest shinobi that are available right now" Tsunade said
"Alright then lets get going!" Naruto said
The group then went on to where Itachi was location was.
They were on their way and Musa was nervous because she didn't even know what she was going to say to her big brother.
They made it far before they were stopped by some guy in a swirly orange mask.
"Hey there" The mask guy said
Naruto was surprised by his sudden appearance but managed to recover rather quickly.
"Who is that?" Flora asked
"I'm the new guy, just call me Tobi" Tobi said
"The new guy? A new member of the Akatsuki?" Sakura asked
Naruto tried to punch him but he dodged an hit him back and Naruto disappeared in a puff of smoke.
"A shadow clone?!" Tobi asked in surprised
The real Naruto then tried to attack him with a rasengan but to everyone's surprise Naruto passed right through him.
"Did that just happen?" Flora asked
"I think it did" Musa said
"Could he be ghost?!" Kiba said
"I don't think so" Hinata said
"Darn it!" Naruto said
Many attempts were made but no one was able to land a single hit because of his jutsu that allowed him to pass through anything.
"We're wasting time here! We won't make it to Itachi on time!" Kiba said
"Then I suggest that a small group moves ahead and while the rest of us stay here an keep him busy" Kakashi said
"Then who should go?" Shino asked
Kakashi looked at Daphne.
"Daphne take your team and move on ahead to the destination. The rest of us will keep him busy" Kakashi said
Daphne looked at him and nodded.
"Bloom, Flora, Musa, we're going on ahead" Daphne said
"Alright lets go" Bloom said
Tobi then popped up out of the ground like a mole and tried to hit them with a random stick he found but they back up to avoid being hit and he did this to everyone but they all managed to avoid being hit.
Yamato managed to catch him in a wood style jutsu, and Shino managed to trap him with insects. This gave Daphne's team the opportunity to move ahead.
They moved ahead but Bloom told them to stop.
"Stop!" Bloom said
Everyone stopped and looked at her with confusion.
"What's wrong?" Musa asked
Bloom sensed some Chakra up ahead.
"There are four types of Chakra up ahead and I recognize one of them belonging to Kisame Hoshigaki" Bloom said
"Oh no!" Flora said
"Looks like they're all on the same side too" Bloom said
"We'll have to take an alternate route to avoid them" Daphne said
The team had no choice but to find an alternate route in order to avoid a fight. They needed to save as much chakra as possible. They managed to find another route snuck into the compound and saw that there was the result of a fight here.
The ceiling was completely destroyed, and it was raining outside.
"Let's check outside" Daphne said
They jumped onto the roof and saw that they were black flames surrounding the forest. Bloom then saw a slumped figure on the ground near a stone slate.
"Over there" Bloom said
Bloom then jumped and she was followed by her teammates. Daphne froze when she saw that it was the body of Itachi Uchiha. She started to shake and tried her best to hold back her tears.
Musa was in shock and saw her other older brother. She thought he was dead.
"No big brother" Musa whimpered
Musa's sharingan then changed. Her three tomoe started to form three straight lines. Her sharingan look like a shuriken with three blades and the center was an unshaded circle.
Flora looked at Musa was shocked to see her eyes.
"Musa, you're eyes changed" Flora said
"Huh?" Musa asked
The young Uchiha took out a kunai and looked at her reflection and saw that her eyes were indeed different.
"What happened to my eyes?" Musa asked
Daphne knew the answer right away.
"That's your mangekyo sharingan, Musa" Daphne said
Musa was shocked to hear that she had managed to unlock her mangekyo sharingan. She didn't even know how she was able to do it in the first place.
Bloom went over to examine Itachi's corpse or what she thought was a corpse. She placed her ear against Itachi's chest and she managed to hear a heartbeat and she also managed to feel a very weak pulse but it was there.
"Everyone! Itachi is still alive!" Bloom said
Their eyes widened when they heard this. It was almost hard to believe that Itachi was still alive. His eyes were missing however but that didn't change the fact that he was still alive.
"Bloom are you sure about that?" Daphne asked
The redhead nodded.
"I felt a heartbeat and I managed to find a very weak pulse so he's still alive" Bloom said
"Then we need to get back to the leaf at once" Flora said
"He's on the verge of death, he won't make it if we try to take him back there" Bloom said
"Then what are we supposed to do?" Musa asked
Bloom lifted Itachi up.
"We need to go back inside and treat him now" Bloom said
The group then went back inside compound and went towards a corner where the rain couldn't reach them.
Bloom then started to perform medical ninjutsu on him right away. She managed to heal him long enough for him to survive his trip back to the hidden leaf village. Musa managed to find some sharingan eyes in laboratory and told Bloom to implant them in her brother's eye sockets. The redhead nodded and started to perform surgery along with Tsunade, Sakura and Shizune
"His injuries are more severe than we thought" Sakura said
"I also saw that he had a sickness" Bloom said
"A sickness?" Shizune asked
"Hemoptysis is likely the cause of his sickness, we need to treat that too or else he won't survive" Bloom said
The medical ninjas worked around the clock on Itachi's treatment and didn't even stop for a break because they couldn't afford to stop because they were afraid that stopping even for moment would lead to Itachi's death.
After so many long hours of surgery they had managed to save his life. Bloom managed to implant some sharingan eyes into Itachi's sockets.
Itachi was then given some antibiotics to fight any other infections or other traces of the disease that could still be there.
Bloom then came out of the surgery room and saw that her older sister was sitting on a bench nearby.
Daphne saw that her younger sister was there and rushed up to her.
"How is he?" Daphne asked
"He'll be alright now. We managed to save him just in time. I was leading the surgery so it should be fine" Bloom said
Daphne sighed with relief.
"Thank goodness" Daphne said
"But big sister, why are you so worried about him?" Bloom asked
Daphne looked away from her younger sister.
"I don't want to talk about it right now, sorry" Daphne said
Bloom had a confused look on her face, but she reassured her that she can tell her when she's ready.
Bloom was left in charge of Itachi and the older Uchiha had been in a coma for two weeks.
Itachi started to open his eyes and the first thing he saw was a white ceiling. He then heard some beeping. He looked over to see that it was heart monitor. He knew right away that he was in a hospital, but what kind of hospital?
He weakly sat up and felt different. He usually felt sick but right now he felt fine.
"What happened to me?" Itachi asked himself
The Uchiha then heard a door open and looked over to see that it was a girl with long red-hair that was put up in a side ponytail. She was wearing a medical ninja uniform for those who perform surgeries. He noticed that the girl was wearing a ninja headband and saw that it was the symbol of hidden leaf's headband. That told him that he was in the leaf village.
The redhead looked over and saw that Itachi was awake.
"Aw, you're awake, that's good" The girl said
"Who are you?" Itachi asked
"My name is Bloom Uzumaki, I'm in charge of taking care of you today" Bloom said
Itachi's eyes went wide when she heard her name. Uzumaki? That meant that he was back in the hidden leaf and that this was Daphne's younger sister.
"You're the younger sister of Daphne Uzumaki" Itachi said
Bloom gave Itachi a look of surprise.
"How you know who my sister is?" Bloom asked
"So it's true then" Itachi said
"Well yes, my older sister is Daphne Uzumaki I'm surprised you know who my sister is" Bloom said
"We were very close at one point" Itachi said
"Well that explains her reaction" Bloom said
Itachi looked at the red head with a confused look.
"Her reaction?" Itachi asked
"Well we brought you back to the hidden leaf village and you underwent emergency surgery. Your injuries weren't the worst of it though. You had a sickness and we managed to treat that too" Bloom said
"That explains why I don't feel sick anymore. I've been cured of my sickness" Itachi thought
"However, there was one thing that was weird though. When we found you, your eyes were missing" Bloom said
Itachi was shocked. His eyes were missing? Does that mean that Sasuke had taken his eyes with the intention of implanting them into his own eyes?
"If my eyes were missing then who's eyes do I have now?" Itachi asked
"Well Musa arrived with some sharingan eyes and asked me to implant them into you. They looked like mangekyo sharingan eyes too" Bloom said
Itachi remained silent. He didn't what to think right now. That means that he now had the eternal mangekyo sharingan. But this wasn't how things were supposed to be. He was supposed to die in that battle.
"I'm supposed to be dead" Itachi said
"Well if we had arrived any later then you would've been dead. When we found you we thought you were dead. Musa was convinced that you were dead and awakened her mangekyo sharingan in the process" Bloom said
Itachi wasn't expecting to hear that his little sister had awakened her mangekyo sharingan too.
Itachi gripped his bed sheets tightly. His plan to die had been foiled.
The door opened again and when he looked over he saw the one person that he was hoping to never see again because he didn't want to bring her pain. It was Daphne Uzumaki, his girlfriend.
The blond girl looked at Itachi with so much emotion on her face. She was sad, happy and probably angry too. The Uchiha noticed that the older Uzumaki was shedding an endless supply of tears on her face.
"I-Itachi" Daphne whimpered
"Daphne" Itachi said
Before Itachi could even blink, he felt some arms wrap around his body. His girlfriend was embracing him in a warm hug. He had almost forgotten how nice it was to feel Daphne's arms around him. She felt so warm.
The Uchiha then felt Daphne's body shaking. He then heard sobbing and felt guilty for making her cry.
"I'm so happy that you're ok, Itachi. I was afraid that I lost you for good" Daphne said
"Daphne" Itachi said
"I let you go last time, this time I won't let go off on your own again" Daphne said
Bloom then chose this time to speak up again.
"Now I know there's some history behind you two" Bloom said
Daphne let go of her boyfriend and started to wipe her eyes with her sleeve.
Another person had entered the room and Itachi saw that it was his younger sister, Musa.
Itachi was actually glad that his sister didn't attempt to walk down the path of revenge.
Musa was going through some mixed emotions right now. She loved her brother but at the same she hated him. She was glad that her brother was ok but she was also unsure how to feel about him being alive.
"Little sister" Itachi said
"Big brother" Musa said
Itachi was then deemed well enough to leave the hospital but then he went to leaf's prison and he wasn't really shocked about this.
He was placed in an interrogation room with Daphne and Musa present.
They demanded that he tell them everything he knows about the Akatsuki and the Uchiha. Itachi was willing to share the information about the Akatsuki but the truth about the Uchiha was a different story but he cooperated and told them everything he knew about both the Akatsuki and the Uchiha.
Tsunade gave the Uchiha a look of suspicion. Itachi suspected that she didn't completely trust all the information that he had shared with them.
"So you killed the Uchiha with some help from a masked man in order to protect the village and you worked as an Akatsuki spy" Tsunade said
"That's correct, that's the truth" Itachi said
"Is there any way that we can confirm that what you're saying is true?' Tsunade asked
The Uchiha was about to say no but some else answered before he had the chance to say anything.
"He's telling the truth" Daphne said
Everyone looked over towards Daphne. Itachi didn't want her to speak out like that since she would more than likely get in trouble.
"How do you know that, Daphne?" Tsunade asked
"Because, Itachi told me everything that was going to happen on the night of the Uchiha massacre. I witnessed everything and just stood by and watched him carry out his mission" Daphne said
Tsunade glared at the blond.
"You knew the truth the entire time and you kept quiet about it?" Tsunade asked in anger
"I'm sorry Lady Tsunade, but I made a promise to Itachi to not reveal anything about the massacre" Daphne said
"Lady Tsunade, please don't be mad at her. I made her promise me to keep the truth a secret. Be mad at me not her" Itachi said
Musa was angry at her sensei for keeping the truth from her, but she forgave her since she was only keeping her promise to Itachi.
The hokage just sighed.
"Well you did cooperate with us, so we have to thank you for that" Tsunade said
"What's going to happen to him now?" Musa asked
Tsunade thought about it for a moment before making her decision.
"Well, since he was performing a mission assigned him by the leaf then there's no need to keep him imprisoned any longer. He'll be let go right away" Tsunade said
Some people were not happy because they believed that the Uchiha couldn't be trusted but the hokage told them that her decision was final.
"Itachi, with you're knowledge of the Akatsuki then we're going to need your help in order to fight them" Tsunade said
"Don't worry, Lady Tsunade, I will help you fight the Akatsuki" Itachi said
Zetsu managed to spy on their little meeting and traveled back to the hideout and told everyone the news.
"Itachi Uchiha is alive and was revealed to be a hidden leaf spy" Zetsu said
The leader, Pein, was not expecting this but he managed to keep a cool head.
"So he was traitor from the very beginning" Pein said
Konan, Pein's partner, then asked what they should do now.
"What should we do now? Should we strike the leaf to get to Itachi?" Konan asked
"It's waste of time doing that" Icy said
"What do you mean?" Pein asked
"Even if he shared all the information on us won't change our goal. They won't have any way of knowing where we'll strike next. Let's just leave him be for now and track down the remaining jinchuriki" Icy said
"She's right, there's no point in pursuing him at this point" Darcy said
"We already have seven tailed beasts we'll be going after the nine tails sooner or later. Killing Itachi will just be an extra bonus for us" Stormy said
"Good point, we'll continue our mission to hunt them down and complete our goal" Kisame said
"What do you think Pein?" Konan asked
Pein thought for a moment and then came to his decision.
"Very well, we'll continue hunting down the tailed beasts and sooner or later we're bound to run into Itachi and if you ever see him at any point then kill him" Pein said
