A/N: So very sorry for the long delay. Adult children should never, ever, have to live with their elderly parents. Technically, my father is living with me now, but whatever. It's been a rough transition.

"Janie, are you sure you don't want to wear a dress?"

"Ma! No dresses. I just need something midnight blue."

Angela looked at her daughter. "Not white?"

Jane sighed. "Ma, when Korsak got married, Maura told me that I would wear a midnight blue, strapless dress as her maid of honor. I told her I had to have straps."

The sales lady approached them with some sort of suit, in midnight blue. She handed it to Jane.

"I think this style with your coloring will be perfect." She held it out for Jane and Angela to look at.

"Oh Janie, it's beautiful. Go try it on."

Jane, who really liked the outfit, looked at the price tag, and nearly choked.

"Ma..."

"Shush. My daughter is only getting married once and since we aren't getting a wedding dress, this will do just fine."

Jane tried the Dominic Sleeveless Tuxedo Jumpsuit on and immediately fell in love. She loved the way it fit and that it wasn't too girlie. She came out of the dressing room, and both Angela and the sales lady gasped.

"Oh Janie, you look stunning."

"I want this. I think Maura will love it."

The sales lady agreed and winked at Jane. "She's a lucky woman."

Jane blushed and replied, "No, I am."

Angela responded, "You both are. Now let's go find you some decent shoes."

Jane knew better than to argue with her mother on this.

"I really think she would like the white one, Frankie."

Frankie, who knew what Jane was going to wear to the wedding, steered Maura toward the red jersey.

"Janie loves the red jerseys, Maura."

Maura looked at the red jersey. "Is there something special about the red ones?"

"Maura, trust me. Get the red one." Maura nodded and grabbed a second one.

"Ok, we need to get one more thing Frankie."

"What?"

Maura spied what she needed and started grabbing the small glass jars of infield dirt.

"Frankie, start grabbing these."

Frankie did as told and asked, "Why?"

Maura was busy flagging a sales clerk down, asking if they had any more bottles of dirt. She watched as the clerk went into the stockroom in search of more bottles of infield dirt.

"Frankie, can you get me one of those home plate things?"

Frankie chuckled. "Home plate thing? Yeah, I can get you one of those things."

Maura was making her way to checkout when she looked back at Frankie. "Hurry up. I have to drop the jerseys off to be bejeweled."

"Bejeweled?"

Jane was having coffee with an old friend who owned an amusement company. Since they couldn't get married over an actual volcano, Jane was looking for a viable alternative. Though she wasn't sure what exactly that might be, she wanted to at least try.

"So she wanted to get married over a volcano, and that is not an option. So I'm looking for something like that. Make sense, Chuck?"

"Yeah. So we can't build an erupting volcano, but I think I have a solution."

"Cool!"

"Let me work on it, and I will be in touch."

Jane, feeling excited, hurried home to Maura and Avery.

Maura was nursing Avery as Jane was cleaning up the kitchen.

"How's he doing?"

"He's perfect. And a little pig." She shifted him so that she could burp him.

Jane had worked up her nerve to bring up their honeymoon. Her previous two attempts had not been received well by the doctor.

"So, Maura, I think we should talk about our wedding night."

Maura stood with a now sleeping Avery, and looked at Jane.

"Take Avery and put him to bed then join me upstairs."

Jane did as told, and found Maura in bed, waiting on her.

Jane began to strip. "Maura..."

Maura held the covers up, revealing her naked form.

"Jane, I do not feel comfortable being away from Avery right now. He's still so little. And..."

Jane finished for her, "He was premature."

She slid beneath the covers and tried not to react as Maura began playing with her nipples.

"Maura, what are you doing?" She gasped as Maura moved between her legs and began stroking her.

"Isn't it obvious?"

"Maura...Maura, stop." She was breathing hard and pushing at the doctor.

Maura, finally realizing what Jane was saying, stopped. "What's wrong?"

"Baby, I want to wait until we can both do this."

Maura kissed her. "I saw the doctor today. I've been cleared for light oral."

"Light oral?" Jane shook her head. "Maura, I want to wait until we are married."

"What? Jane, that's 10 days from now!"

"It is. And we can make it." She kissed Maura and continued, "And I want us to spend our wedding night away from here." Before Maura could object, Jane finished with, "Hear me out. I have a compromise." Maura nodded. "How about we spend that weekend in a hotel here in Boston? And one or all or whatever, of the mothers stays in the hotel with Avery, on another floor? We can have the nights to ourselves, and have Avery during the day?"

Maura considered what Jane had said. "Ok."

Jane smiled. "Ok? Yeah, ok!"

The nine days before the wedding passed in a blur, each woman had their plate full trying to take care of Avery and get their respective wedding surprises finalized.

Maura had left Avery with Angela, and had gone to pick up first the jerseys and then the home plate and infield dirt display. She smiled as the looked at the red jerseys, bedazzled with Swarovski crystals. The back of each jersey had "R&I" emblazoned in navy crystals. Maura's jersey had the number one done in navy crystals, and Jane's had the number 43 in navy crystals. The front was also don up in coordinating crystals.

She went to the framing store and clasped her hands as she saw the home plate with their last names and the date of their wedding printed on it. Home plate was surrounded, under glass, by the Fenway Park infield dirt.

She got the items in her car and headed to The Dirty Robber, where she was meeting Frankie.

"Oh Maura, this is awesome! Janie will love this!"

Jane had met Chuck to pick up his answer to the volcano.

Chuck presented her with a detailed mini volcano, built to scale from the perspective of where they would have been standing if they were at the actual volcano.

"Wow! That's incredible. Beats the hell out of that fake volcano I made in sixth grade." Jane took a closer look. "Hey, can you make it erupt?"

Chuck looked at her and shook his head. "No! You specifically said no eruptions!"

"Oh. Yeah." She picked it up and headed for the car.

Her next stop was to pick up Maura's surprise wedding dress. Hope had gotten Maura's measurements by telling her they were ordering new lab jackets. Hope had handled the dress with the help of Maura's regular boutique.

"Oh wow. Wow. She's going to look stunning."

Hope smiled. "Yes, she is."

"Thank you Hope, for helping with this."

"She's my daughter." She hugged Jane. "I will see you tomorrow."

Jane met Frankie at The Dirty Robber.

"Oh man, Janie...that's...wow!"

"You know what to do tomorrow, right?"

"Yes Jane, I know what to do. You good for tomorrow?"

Jane smiled and looked dreamy. "I am."

Frankie rolled his eyes. "Pick you up later for your get-together?" Jane nodded and headed for the door.

As she opened the door, she suddenly remembered to remind Frankie where to pick her up.

"Remember, I'm staying at the hotel tonight."

Frankie watched his sister leave and shook his head. Both women were going to be pleased with their respective surprises.
