Sessions
Chapter 33th
"You don't have to tell me Doctor about Marice! She is such a total woman when it comes to her talents as a reporter for the Washington, Post. Her past with having been with the Marines for a few years before switching over to being a reporter.
"Gibbs, she is such a strong woman having to be you're equal at times? However, there is a softness, love, concern, and a number of other features when it comes to you in many ways. No doubt she is extremely worried about what might happen for when you get out of the hospital?" she said to have Gibbs alerted.
"And what exactly is that Doctor Confalone?" he shifted slightly in his bed that is basically uncomfortable for the most part.
"We all know that you're upset with a number of issues and one of them is your suspension and Director Vance?" Doc will say to him with a strange look on his face.
"My suspension is my fault for having to be too aggressive with the owner of the dogfighting ring. Otherwise, Vance went way overboard with the suspension and wanted me out. Even though he had given me the option for which was discussing the last few years. But for some reason, his entire demeanor had changed for which I mentioned before."
"Okay, have you decided on what you're planning on doing in the first place even though that file that was mention to me in an earlier session?"
"I haven't decided as yet at this point until I know for sure that the heart valve operation does go well and that I am able to continue on," Gibbs replied with a slight cough needing to drink some of his cold water.
"Well in that case you need to decide quickly before Director Vance gets wind of this particular file. Anyways I have other questions that need to ask?" she commented with Gibbs looking up concerned about what those questions were going to be.
"And what questions are we talking about Doctor Grace Confalone?" as he bathed in his own anxiety that just might rise his heart rate talking.
"What about you're relationship with Senior Field Agent Timothy McGee and have you worked out your issues after the shooting at the airport during the undercover operation?" this was a two-fold question for Gibbs to answer.
"Tim and I are on good terms since we talked about me shooting him. When I was put into the choice to stop you with the plane blowing up. I hurt like hell deep inside even though I needed to stay calm in front of everyone while I was doing my job."
"So you're good on that point of it?" Grace commented with a shift with her own chair as if she was losing her circulation with her legs.
"Yeah, we are good. And what about you and Bishop?" she said to have his jump slightly for when it comes to Bishop having to be like his daughter as with others.
"If you're talking about the incident about knocking her down to the ground to push her off me when I punching out the dog-ring fighter?" he cried out with his memories still strong and Vance and Attorney General Coyle deciding on a deal with Gibbs to be released. "I haven't made my peace with her on what had happened and why she treats me differently now."
"What are you waiting for Gibbs?" she had to say to him that was important that Bishop knows that he does care a great deal.
"I have no idea right now," he exclaimed with the stress getting to him.
"BULL! You're just scared what she might do and say to too Leroy Jethro Gibbs?" she responded with her own anger at her patient.
"I am not scared of anything doctor! And I will be damn to prove myself to anyone because of what had happened. I was angry and it was the stress of the past year that had gotten to me finally. " he cried out with his response.
"I must tell you, Gibbs you're a real mess right now. You're going to be needing some time to relax once you're able to have the surgery. Doctor Cyril Taft is going to keep a close watch on you as his patient?" she had to say.
"No doubt that I am a mess. But nevertheless, I am not going to let everyone know this."
"Why? Because once again you're scared to let everyone know or have them care for you a great deal. You've been doing this all of your life hiding from your own emotions, feelings, and anything else in between."
"Doctor, you need to stop right now with trying to make me think that I am weak in every way?" Gibbs cried out with his heart rate beginning to rise and no doubt the doctors will be in the room soon...
"Who said anything about being weak Special Agent Gibbs? I must tell you, something has to change in you, or else you're going to self-destruct once again leaving a wife and child to be born soon behind?"
"Listen Doctor Confalone I need for you to stop already with giving me the truth of my own self? I am just sick and tire of your analysis of what I have to do with my own life in general?" Gibbs was currently livid with his outburst for the most part.
"Fine. I will leave you alone right now. I suggest that you call your wife and talk with her. Do it quickly before you lose her?" Doc said with her anger getting the best of her right now. She began to pack up her things to leave for her office to cool down.
Gibbs didn't say a word to his therapist to leave the room. He needed to calm down himself having to be stuck in bed and the hospital.
