Chapter 34: Currents, Part 3

Yoshiro then walks into the retail store to look at the TV controlling the group of people's back side.

"Hmm… What if Global Warming can destroy it?" Yoshiro wonders. "Will that stop the mind controlling?"

Global Warming then emerges to attack the TV, but the TV disappears.

"What?! It just disappeared!" Yoshiro shouted. "But to where?!"

Yoshiro then went outside to see the TV standing at a brick wall.

"Oh that's cool." Yoshiro said. "Not far, but I'm still gonna destroy it!"

Yoshiro then sees a man walking towards the TV, which was the same man that bumped into him earlier.

"Huh? That man…" Yoshiro said. "He's back…"

Yoshiro then sees the group walking towards the TV, still under the control of it.

"And those people are still under the control of that TV?!" Yoshiro shouted. "Alright, what now?!"

Yoshiro looks at his hands and clenches them.

"I don't have a choice!" Yoshiro shouted as he rushed over to the TV. "Global Warming!"

Global Warming then punched the TV, but the TV disappeared as it was about to attack.

"Great, where did it teleport off to this time?!" Yoshiro said.

"Hey! We were watching that!" A woman shouted.

"Yeah! Give us a break, damn it!" Another woman shouted.

The crowd then surrounded Yoshiro and trash talked him.

"Ok, plan B!" Yoshiro said.

Global Warming then activated its ability to summon a heat wave, heating up the temperatures of those that surrounded Yoshiro. Yoshiro then easily escaped the crowd as they were struggling to find something to cool them down.

"God!" Yoshiro shouted as he was out of breath. "Where is that TV now?"

Yoshiro then searched around.

"Since I am searching for the TV, where's the User?" Yoshiro wonders. "The User really isn't anywhere near that TV Stand… So I guess that TV is Long-Ranged, huh?"

Yoshiro then hears static.

"Ah! It's somewhere in this street!" Yoshiro shouted. "But where?!"

Yoshiro then continued to hear the static with his eyes closed. He then opened his eyes a minute later to see the TV on the ground, next to the city fountain.

"Oh you have got to be kidding!" Yoshiro shouted. "I don't want to break the fountain with Global Warming! Wait!"

Yoshiro then runs towards the TV and tries to stomp on it with one of his shoes, but the TV disappears again as soon as Yoshiro stomps the ground.

"Gah! It ran off again!" Yoshiro shouted as he then looks around and tried to hear the static.

"Hmm… The more I do this… The more possibilities I might get on finding the User!" Yoshiro shouted as he then saw the crows under the TV's control walking. "And the crowd is following me! Got to do this quickly!"

Yoshiro then rushed to a neighborhood and saw the TV on the street.

"Ah-ha!" Yoshiro shouted as he tried to stomp on it, but it disappeared again. "Ok! Listen to the static…"

Yoshiro then looks behind him to see the crowd far away.

"Still following me…" Yoshiro said as he then started to jog. "Where is the static?"

Yoshiro then kept jogging until he heard the static.

"Ah! Somewhere near that food market!" Yoshiro shouted as he saw the TV on a wall of the supermarket. "Found you!"

When Global Warming attacked, the TV then vanished again.

"Now where are you at?" Yoshiro wonders as he then hears the static again. "Ah!"

Yoshiro then turned to a hotel.

"A hotel huh? I see…" Yoshiro said. "The User might be in that hotel…"

Yoshiro then looks at the hotel.

"That hotel might have a lot of security…" Yoshiro said as he then heard the static again. "But I don't know where the User would be at!"

Yoshiro then turned away to see the crowd slowly walking towards the hotel.

"Shit! Alright, I don't have a choice then!" Yoshiro shouted.

Yoshiro then went inside the hotel and saw that the hotel didn't have any staff in the main lobby.

"Huh? Odd…" Yoshiro said. "No security or staff… Wait…"

Yoshiro then went to the elevator and pushed the button to go inside.

"They are obviously under the TV's control here, but where?" Yoshiro wonders.

The elevator then landed on the 3rd floor. Yoshiro got out and continued to hear the static.

"Somewhere in one of these rooms…" Yoshiro wonders as he then hears the static coming from a room. "Room 309! I'm coming in!"

Yoshiro then used Global Warming to punch the door down. A man was watching a sports game and then got up as he saw Yoshiro breaking down the door.

"Shit!" He said as he turned off the TV. "Hey kid! What are you doing here?!"

"Listen! I hear static! You know something about a TV?!" Yoshiro shouted.

"A TV?! I am watching TV until you break in!"

"Yeah sure! Do you have a name?"

"Katashi! Uhh… Katashi Terebi."

"Alright Terebi! Where's that TV at with the static?"

"I feel like you're going insane, kid! What static are you even talking about?!"

Yoshiro then walks over to Katashi and grabs him by the shirt.

"I have no time for games!" Yoshiro shouted as he then let go of Katashi.

"Shit… Alright, listen… You want to lend in on a secret?" Katashi asked.

"Sure, go ahead!"

Yoshiro then hears the crowd slowly pulling up to the outside of Katashi's hotel room.

"Shit! They found us!" Yoshiro shouted. "But they're not doing anything!"

Katashi then smiled.

"You foolish son of a bitch!" Katashi shouted. "I got you right where I wanted you all to be at…"

"What are you talking about?" Yoshiro said.

Then, Yoshiro heard loud static as the main TV in Katashi's room came alive and grew electrical arms. The TV was then the same TV that hypnotized Koi and the crowd.

"WHAT THE?!" Yoshiro shouted.

"Currents!" Katashi shouted. "Get him!"

Yoshiro then got out his Global Warming to attack, but Currents' arms quickly dodged Global Warming. Yoshiro then quickly avoided Currents' attack as it then hit mugs.

"Looks like Currents has control of these mugs…" Katashi said. "That's ok… Because I have something to do."

The mugs that Currents took control of then fired thunder at Yoshiro. Yoshiro then avoided all of the electricity being fired at.

"Ok! This is starting to get troubling!" Yoshiro shouted.

"Heh heh! But that's not all that my Stand can do!" Katashi shouted.

Currents' arms then got closer to Yoshiro. Global Warming tried to block the arms, but got around Global Warming and got Yoshiro under the static.

"ARGH! I can't move!" Yoshiro shouted.

"Now drain his energy, Currents!" Katashi shouted.

"Drain my what?!"

Yoshiro was then electrocuted from Currents.

"GAAAAAH!" Yoshiro shouted.

"When Currents drain energy from something it has affected on, then it becomes more faster than you could possibly ever imagine!" Katashi shouted. "Ha ha ha! Now look at the TV and you'll be able to be under its control just like your friend and the rest of the crowd!"

Yoshiro was then on the floor as Currents let go of him.

"Fuck…" Yoshiro said. "This guy and his Stand are getting out of hand…"

Yoshiro slowly got up.

"Not giving up…" Yoshiro said. "I will beat you!"

Global Warming then attacked Currents, but Currents disappeared to the kitchen. Global Warming then grabbed Katashi, but was stopped by Currents.

"You still don't have the agility that my Currents have!" Katashi shouted. "Now take this!"

"No, take this!" Yoshiro said.

"What?"

Global Warming then took off its glasses to shoot out a ball of fire at Katashi, setting him up in a blaze.

"GAAAAAH!" Katashi shouted. "BULLSHIT!"

"Now attack the TV, Global Warming!" Yoshiro shouted.

Global Warming then punched Currents, dealing damage to it and Katashi.

"URGH!" Katashi shouted as he was on the ground. "Get the fire off of me!"

"I gave you a minute in flames…" Yoshiro said. "Let the flames die down…"

A few more seconds later, the flames died down that was burning Katashi. Koi and the crowd were then out of Currents' control.

"Huh?! What the hell happened?!" Koi said.

"Koi! Stay right there!" Yoshiro shouted as he closed the door. "I'll be out in a minute!"

Yoshiro then turned to Katashi.

"Now talk!" Yoshiro shouted. "What made you attack us?"

"Damn it all… Fine! This businessman in blue told me to! He forced me and two other allies of mine, Doku and Koru to attack you people…" Katashi said. "However, my Currents are Long-Ranged and Doku and Koru's Stand are Close-Ranged and I can't bring that TV around with me all day you know."

"That snake bastard… And that girl covered in slime… Do you know anything about my sister's death?"

"Your sister died? Never knew anything about that… Sorry for your loss."

"Are you being serious?"

"Yes! I'm being serious! Don't hurt me damn it!"

"Right… Fine… I'll be leaving…"

Katashi then looked away.

"Cause destruction here huh…" Katashi said. "I don't need anymore orders from that businessman in blue…"

Yoshiro then left to be with Koi.

"Yoshiro… What just happened? I had a crazy and long vision…" Koi said.

"Let's talk later." Yoshiro said. "All it matters is that a TV took control of you."

Yoshiro and Koi then left the hotel.

Katashi was walking around downtown Tokyo when he felt something cold.

"Brrrrr! Shit, don't tell me that he's here…" Katashi said as he then saw ice forming on the ground. "Yeah no! I'm out!"

Katashi then runs away.

"Bold move of you, Katashi…" A Masculine voice said. "I won't be needing your useless ass anymore…"
