Pleasant birds chirping was the main thing audible within the rather large room. The warm and bright sunlight shined in through the window, gently embracing the bed to the side of the room. And this sunlight also rayed upon the dark blue haired boy sleeping in the bed.

Kokei laid there, motionless. The only movements he made was to breathe, otherwise, he stayed completely still. He didn't have a shirt on but did have on some white shorts. Kokei's body was primarily normal, his forearms were a little raw and different colored from the rest of his body. His face looked unharmed, rather, it had healed back to normal as well as the majority of the rest of his body. Except for one point particularly: Kokei's left shoulder.

Kokei's left shoulder looked primarily the same as it had after his big brawl. It had lightened up some, but still was a dark black and purple lump that took up a majority of his shoulder. Now, even under covers that went up to his shoulder blades, there was some darkness visible to the top.

For a while, Kokei stayed motionless under his blanket and allowed for the sunlight to blind his closed eyes. Eventually, Kokei's eyes begin to flutter and slowly open. He immediately narrows his eyes due to the harsh sunlight that blinded him. "W.. what..?" Kokei questions, he peered about the large empty room he was in. For the most part, there was not a whole lot in his room except a television at the end of his luxurious bed and a few chairs. As well as a desk beside his bed, that also had a rolling chair to use for it.

Kokei attempts to move his arms but he feels an immense pain come from both in the instant he attempted. "Oww!" Kokei whines, setting his arms back to his sides and looking up to the blank ceiling. "Where.. am i..?" Kokei looks about his surroundings, it looked very modest and majestic. "Too good to be a hospital or Inko's apartment. I'm glad it's not a hospital, that'd raise a large amount of suspicion to me."

"Maybe you got abducted." Stain comments, "a helpless kid roaming the streets is easy to snatch."

"I doubt it." Kokei responds, using his ab muscles to crunch his upper body up. Then, shuffles his lower body upwards and rests his back upon the wall behind his bed. "Is anyone gonna come check on me? Maybe i should shout and scream." Kokei contemplates, "nah, I'll just loudly ask if anyone's there." Kokei raises his head and positions it to the ceiling, "hello!? Anyone hear me!?"

After Kokei speaks, rapid footsteps are heard coming from somewhere deeper within the building. Rushing feet that quickly arrived at the other side of his room door, but instead of opening it, the mysterious person knocked. Kokei looks to the door cautiously, then again, whoever was on the other end of that door may have saved his life. "Come in."

The door quickly opens, and who stood in the doorway was Momo. Momo gasps, "you're awake!" She eagerly runs up next to Kokei's bed, throwing both her arms around Kokei. Kokei grunts in pain from her pressure on his body, so she quickly backed off and apologized. "I forgot, I'm so sorry!"

"No no it's fine, you're good." Kokei responds, "could you tell me what happened for me to end up here?"

Momo nods, taking a seat in one of the chairs right next to Kokei's bed. "So, first things first, my butler found you passed out on a street a few days ago. He said he recognized you from the study group we had for the final exams. Also, you're in a guest room within my house right now. So you're safe from whoever did this to you."

Kokei sighs with relief, "that's good to hear."

"So, after my butler found you, he said he was going to take you to urgent care but you kept telling him 'don't take me to a hospital' and 'I'll be fine, just no hospitals'. So he assumed you didn't want Inko to know you had been beaten.. that bad. And he took you home." While Momo explains, Kokei listens intently.

"We got a personal doctor to come see and help you.. and.." Suddenly, Momo begins to tear up. "The doctor said she'd never seen anyone in your condition before.. she.. she feared the worst." Momo looks down at her lap, a few of her tears dropping from her face to her thighs.

Kokei shifts over to the left in his bed, getting closer to her. Then, he forcefully raises his arms up, from under the blanket, to wrap around Momo. "It's alright, I'm fine now." As Kokei consoles her, Momo leans into Kokei's embrace while she whimpered.

"I.. i thought you wouldn't make it." Momo admits, sniffling while she rubs her forehead on Kokei's chest. "You were asleep for so long.. 3 whole days."

"3 whole days!?" Kokei questions loudly, his dramatic reaction caused Momo to giggle.

"Yeah, three days." Momo leans away from Kokei's grip so she could make eye contact once again. "That's why i was so nervous. I thought you were in a coma.. or..-"

"Dead." Kokei finishes her sentence, Momo nodding to Kokei's words. Kokei places both his arms to his sides, "guess i lucked out."

"Mhm, say, what happened to get you in that condition?" Momo questions innocently, "you don't have to say if you don't want to."

"It's fine, i will." Kokei looks down to his blanket, 'What would she find believable? Well, we did interact with those thugs and i got beaten up pretty bad. Would it be unreasonable for that to happen again and in a more brutal manner? Well, it's my best bet.' Kokei clears his throat, then looks back up into Momo's eyes. "Remember those goons? Ugh what was the main guy called.."

"I believe his name was Reval, that guy was such a jerk. Good thing you beat him up really good!" Momo says happily, a gleeful smile on her face.

"Yeah, so, Reval and his group came and found me again.. but it wasn't just them, Reval brought along many stronger thugs and even a few powerful villains. And, as you saw, it didn't work out in my favor." Kokei smiles weakly, "i got a few of them before i went down, though. So don't worry about them coming back, i taught them good."

Momo nods her head, "if you say so." She peers down at Kokei's chest, "they really hurt your shoulder."

Kokei peers over at his shoulder, "ah yeah, but it's fine. At least it's nothing detrimental." Kokei looks at the end of his bed and up at the television. "soo, that tv work or is it just for show?"

Momo snaps her tongue, "ah yes, let me fetch the remote."

"Detectives say that they're still searching for the masked terrorist known as: All for One." The news reporter states, looking directly into the camera and having the destructed scenery from the big debacle of 3 days prior. "All Might suffered minimal injuries, luckily, and announced that he'll be back to prime condition by week's end or less."

"Pfft, wow All for One embarrassed himself." Kokei scoffs then sighs, looking down to his blanket. "I embarrassed myself."

"What do you feel like to eating?" Momo questions, she stood in the doorway with an apron on. "I know you must be hungry."

"Yeah, just uhh.. anything with meat or proteins." Kokei eyes Momo up and down, she looked like a mother. "Are you gonna cook it?"

Momo nods, "i need to learn how to cook for myself. I found this evident during the Forest Training."

"Mmm, you're shaping up to be a real good housewife." Momo pouts at Kokei's comment, to which he quickly corrects. "I-i mean you'd be more than the common housewife, of course, you're multitalented after all!"

Momo narrows her eyes at Kokei, then smiles happily. "Yeah okay, I'll come get you when food's done."

"Hey Momo," Kokei says, stopping Momo from walking off. "There a bath somewhere here?"

"Mhm! There's one connected to this guest room." Momo points to the white door on the white wall next to the brown desk. There almost was a pattern.

"Thank you." Kokei thanks, then, Momo left. Kokei rolls his body toward the edge of his bed. "I hope I don't need rehab. That'd suck." Kokei uses his toes to finagle the blanket off him and at the edge of his bed. Then, Kokei shifts his body to the side and places his feet on the ground. "This is gonna hurt." Kokei warns himself, yet still, when he stood up, he yelps and falls backwards onto his bed. "A-aha-ahaha.. ah- oww.."

Footsteps rush down from further in the manor, running to Kokei's room and hurriedly opening the door. "Are you okay?" Momo questions, she had a metal spatula in her right hand.

"Yeah, i just fell trying to stand. Nothing serious, I'm fine." Kokei attempts to stand up again, yet the same result occurs a second time. "Ack!"

"No, you're not fine!" Momo puts down the spatula on the desk beside Kokei's bed. Then, she wraps one arm around Kokei's body from his right. "Now you're gonna stand on 3. 1, 2, 3." Kokei grunts in pain as he pushes himself up to his shaky feet. But, with the support of Momo, he was able to stand and stay standing. "There, see?"

"Yeah yeah, thank you for the help." Kokei slowly puts one foot in front of the other, creating a shaky version of regular walking. "I'm sorry for being such a burden.."

Momo shakes her head, "nonsense. Anyone in your condition had no choice other than to request help. And you can stay here for as long as you want."

After about a minute of Kokei's slow walking, they make it to the bathroom door. "I can take it from here, there are walls to lean on."

Momo hums as she thought, "alright." Momo lets go of Kokei and retrieves her spatula, leaving the room and closing the door behind her.

Kokei growls, opening the door to the fairly large bathroom. "Damn you, Toshinori." Kokei limps into the room and closes the door behind him. "Reducing me to this drivel. You insolent 'hero' scum."

"I must say, it was impressive that you could take as many of those hits as you did." Jenny compliments Kokei as he undressed the only thing on his body: his shorts and boxers.

"No, it was complete destruction on me." Kokei aggressively snaps, "i got pummeled and disrespected." Kokei snaps his fingers while limped to the tub he turned on the water to fill it up. "It was an annihilation, every single time i got the upper hand i still LOST!" Kokei shouts, slamming his fist against his own leg. "And now he's gonna make a full recovery while I'm here.. like this."

Kokei lifts one leg up over the tubs' side, then lifts the other up and over so he could lay in the filling warm water. "I hate him, i hate him so much." Kokei fumed, curling both his hands into fists. "I need to get stronger, but for that i first need to heal up." Kokei sighs, looking up to the ceiling. "Mark my words, Toshinori, i will have my revenge." Kokei lowers his lower half up his head under the water and bubbles of the bath. "But, for now, i bathe."

"Kokei? What're you doing out of your room?" Momo asks, she was in the deluxe sized kitchen connected to the large dining room. Kokei had limped from his room all the way to there, which was a challenge. Kokei wore his same white shorts, but now had on a plain black t-shirt that was folded and waiting in the bathroom.

Kokei takes a seat in one of the many chairs within the dining room, sitting down felt like a huge load off his legs. "I got tired of being in that room. Thought I'd come see the chef in her natural habitat."

Momo giggles, "you came in time. I was about to deliver this food to your room but you beat me to it." Momo carries a tray of food over to Kokei, placing the large tray with an array of foods before Kokei. "Enjoy."

Kokei inspects the food, there were so many different foods varying from meats to wheats and vegetables on the side. There was steam coming off the meal, making it look very delicious. "Wow, this looks amazing."

Momo blushes and looks away, "oh.. it's not anything special."

Kokei shakes his head, "no no this really does look great. Thank you, Momo." Kokei thanks her honestly, slowly picking up his utensils and using them to indulge the foods. With each bite, Kokei felt more and more at peace. "This tastes like heaven." Kokei comments in between taking bites and chugging down water. He ate like a caveman, he seemed to not even chew and just gulp most of the foods.

All the while, Momo sat at the other end of the table and watched his consume her cooking at an alarming rate. "It shows that you haven't ate in a while." Kokei nods in response, not wanting to slow down his food binge. In total, Kokei ate the entire platter within about 10 minutes. "So.. what did you think?"

Kokei leans back in his chair, rubbing his stomach in satisfaction. "And you say you need to practice cooking. It's inexplainable how great that was, just.. wow. You're an awesome cook."

Momo shyly looks down at the table, "you're too kind."

"If anything I haven't been kind enough." Kokei leans up in his seat, "you've helped me when i was on the verge of death, gave me somewhere to stay- even catered to me!" Momo looks up from the table, meeting Kokei's eye contact. "I really appreciate your help, Momo."

Momo shifts about within her chair, her cheeks a bright pink and she attempted avoiding looking into Kokei's eyes. "Thank you.."

Kokei chuckles, "you don't have to thank me for thanking you."

Momo gasps, "you're right. I'm sorry I'm just.. flustered."

"You're fine." Kokei stretches his arms and legs out. "I'm gonna have to get back home to Inko soon, or, call her at least. Let her know I'm okay."

"You don't have to, i already called her when you first arrived." Momo responds, "i told her you'd be staying here for a while."

"Wow, you've got it all planned out." Kokei stands up, "i still wanna go somewhere. I've been asleep for so long, y'know?"

Momo nods, passion in her eyes. "We can go shopping!"

Kokei groans, "there goes my evening."

--

"This look good on me?" Momo questions, Kokei felt his ears were ringing that same statement and that was why he kept hearing it in his head. But no, it was Momo asking for another's opinion. She wore a orange top and black shorts, standing between three mirrors that allowed for her to see all angles of her body. Kokei sat behind her, his head leaned against the wall and his eyes narrowly open.

Kokei groveled in his stool of a seat, he stopped giving mediocre advice and started just basing what looked good upon made her look cute and what didn't. "Yeah, you look really nice."

Momo smiles happily, "thank you!" Momo scurries back into the dressing room, preparing another 'does this look good on me?'.

"I can think of so many better ways to spend a.. what day is it?" Kokei looks about himself in confusion, just then he remembered something. 'Oh hell, the villains all saw me get destroyed! They probably think that I died, except Tomura. He's a loyal puppy dog, hard to believe he's the grandson of some great hero.' Kokei twiddles his thumbs, 'i wonder how everyone's doing after the big fight. I'm sure AfO is the laughing stock now. Disappointing.'

"Alright, Kokei, I'm about to come out." Momo announces, stepping out from the dressing room in a new outfit and asking that fabled question. "Does it look good on me?"

The setting evening sun overshadows the deep blue waters at Takoba seaside bay. Kokei walked down on the sand with Momo's arm intertwined with Kokei's. It was mainly to keep Kokei standing and walking normally, but it still felt like something more. They both had taken off their shoes to walk on the sand barefooted, it felt nice.

"This was a really fun day." Momo tells Kokei, holding his arm tightly close to her grip.

"Yeah, it was. Though i wish you didn't try on every outfit you found."

Momo scoffs, "i needed to be sure i got the right one!"

Kokei hums, "mmmhhmmm." Then they both begin giggling at their tantalizing banter. "I know I've already said it a lot today, but, thank you. For all that you've done for me."

Momo shakes her head, "stop thanking me. As I told you, anyone would do the same in my position."

Kokei rubs his thumb against Momo's hand, "you say that but.. but none would be as kind and gracious as you've been. I seriously can't thank you enough." Kokei stops walking and looks Momo into her eyes, "you've been a great host."

Momo blushes and looks to the ground, "if you compliment me that much.. I'll begin to think too highly of myself."

Kokei smirks, "maybe that's what i want. Anyways, with that being said, I'm gonna leave tonight. Go back to Inko and Izuku, i worry for how they've reacted to my absence."

Momo sighs and leans her head against Kokei's upper shoulder. "Alright, if that's what you want to do."

Suddenly, someone walks up to the two. They had a big build and broad back, walking up to them like they knew them. And that's because he did. Who had come up to the two, was All Might. "What a coincidence you're here too, young Kyōryokuna and Yaoyorozu."

Momo quickly lets go of Kokei's arm and turns to face All Might. "Hello, All Might."

Kokei stares at All Might, containing his rage and instead feigning and smile. "Surprising to see you here, All Might. I thought you were meant to be in the hospital till the end of this week."

"Those old geysers underestimate my healing capabilities!" All Might then bows to Momo, "if you wouldn't mind, miss. Yaoyorozu, could i borrow your date for a short while?"

Momo gasps, looking in all different directions to avoid eye contact. "Wha-? D-date?! No!"

All Might chuckles, "i know, I'm only joking."

Kokei takes a step forward towards All Might, having to look somewhat up at the beast. "Yeah, where do you wanna talk?"

Kokei and All Might walk together, side by side, towards the loosely occupied peir. All Might had a faster pace than Kokei, since Kokei had a limp, so he kept having to slow his role. "Gotten into a scuffle, have you?" All Might questions, peering at Kokei's awkward leg movements.

"Yeah, didn't Momo tell you what happened after the Sports Festival, with Reval?"

All Might snaps his fingers and awes, "ah yes, she did! They came back and caused you trouble?" Kokei nods, "that's a shame. I wish I could've been there but- well, you know why."

"I do." Kokei gulps his spit, peering at All Might in disgust when the hero wasn't looking. 'Why would he need to talk with me? There's no way that he knows, there's absolutely no way. Maybe he speculates me but.. no hard evidence... i hope.'

All Might stops walking once they were jest next to the pier, causing for Kokei to stop as well. "Before i ask you anything, i want to let you know that you're not in trouble in anyway. I just want the truth, whatever that may be." All Mights' words had a certain weight to them, they felt more serious than any of his other words. "Do you know of the villain: All for One?"

"Yeah, I'm sure everyone in the world knows of him." Kokei responds, and All Might nods with affirmation.

"Has he.. visited you recently? In any way."

Kokei hums in thought, 'what is he getting at here? He must not have hard evidence of me being AfO since he's differentiating us. Is he getting at Air Cannon? He must be.' Kokei nods, "yeah, it wasn't too long ago."

All Mights' eyes widen, "please, tell me what happened."

"Well, it was near the same day.. or was it the same day? I don't know but sometime near when you fought him, i was in the area." Before All Might could ask anything as to why Kokei was near there, Kokei speaks again. "I had changed my mind about not doing the rescue mission for Katsuki, so i went there to find everyone that agreed to it.

"Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find them. But All for One found me. He came up to me and stood before me, he had this certain vibe about him that made me feel.. terrified. I couldn't move since i was so frightened, then, he simply walked up to me and slapped my arm with his hand. And after that, he walked away." Kokei finishes speaking, making for All Might to be deep into thought.

"Hmmm, sounds like what he did to young Midoriya as well." All Might connects the dots, "he must have something that can temporarily absorb quirks.. almost like-"

"Sounds like Neito's quirk." Kokei speaks nonchalantly, "but then that'd mean.."

All Might sighs, "thank you, young Kyōryokuna, you've been a tremendous help. And please, don't tell anyone of our theories."

Kokei smirks, "always happy to. And these lips are sealed." With that, All Might scurries off toward the city; off of the beach. Kokei chuckles, smiling deviously as All Might left. "Looks like I'm still one step ahead, Toshinori."

--

Kokei strolls down the dark streets, if his lie about getting jumped by thugs was true then this'd give him bad flashbacks. Fortunately, Kokei wasn't scared of them or of being alone at night. The thing he was most scared of was All Might. He was afraid that at any moment All Might'd appear and say he's got reason to believe Kokei's AfO. Or of All Might not being as merciful as he is with normal villains and instead give Kokei another beat down.

After a short while, Kokei stood affront Inko's apartment room door. He hadn't seen her, or even Izuku, for a long while so it felt nerve racking just being there again. Not to mention the last time Kokei saw Izuku was when he used him as a hostage and copied his quirk. Not to mention paralyzed him.

Kokei breathes in and out slowly, regaining his composure before slowly raising a weak arm and knocking softly on the door. It didn't take long for someone to arrive at the door and open it up, it was Inko who did. "Ah- Kokei!" Inko shouts merrily, wrapping her arms around Kokei's torso. "You had me worried sick!"

Kokei smiles, "I'm sorry, Inko, i just got into some minor issues. You don't have to worry about me."

Inko shakes her head, "no, while living here, like part of this family, i treat you as such. I'm only trying to step in for Sobokuna's place."

Kokei puts both his hands on her shoulders, "and you're doing a great job at it." Kokei looks up from Inko as she moved out of the way. Instead of seeing Izuku in the living room, it was All Might. Kokei balls his hands into fists, 'deja vu. The hell are you doing here too?'

All Might sees Kokei and waves at him, "hello, young Kyōryokuna, I'm glad to see you're back home."

Kokei smiles, "glad to be back." Kokei enters the apartment, Inko closing the door and locking it behind Kokei. 'Why would he be here? There's no way, he doesn't know anything... does he?' Kokei makes his way to the dinning table, taking a seat and relaxing in it. "So, to what do we owe this visit?"

All Might stands tall, posing with his arms to his hips. "I am here to inform the Midoriya family, with the addition of Kyōryokuna, that it has been decided to turn U.A. into a boarding school."

Kokei scoffs, "that means dorms." Kokei moves his eyes up to All Might, "you're here to ask for Inko's permission to have Izuku and I move into dorms, right?"

"Yes, and.. and he convinced me." Inko looks to the ground with a smile, "my little Izuku.. such a amazing hero already. Kokei, did you hear?" Inko looks up to Kokei, and Kokei shakes his head. "Izuku saved a little boy, named Kota, at the Forest Training!"

"Wow, that's amazing." Kokei smiles happily, 'so that's where he had to go. To go play hero with the kid, Izuku will turn into a perfect miniature Toshinori. Believing the few people he saves makes him higher than the rest, meanwhile all he's really doing is giving people a reason to become a 'villain'. It's counterproductive.'

Inko walks up to Kokei, even while sitting he was still almost as tall as her standing. "Kokei.. you're not my legal son, no matter how much i wish you were. So.. so I feel it'd be inappropriate for me to be the one who decides what you do involving this dorm situation."

"That's very considerate of you, Inko, thank you." Kokei inhales and exhales slowly, closing his eyes momentarily as he did. Then, he opened his eyes and answered. "Yeah, sure."

All Might smiles brightly, "that's great to hear, young Kyōryokuna!"

Inko gasps, "ooh i need to go get you and Izuku things to pack! Want to come with me, Kokei? And if you could be a dear, go get Izuku?"

Kokei smirks, gazing around the apartment room. Inko reminded him so much of Sobokuna sometimes, and it didn't come as a pain in the chest anymore. Now, it felt welcoming and homely. "Yeah, I'll go. Let me go fetch Izuku."
