Rebecca's Point of View

He left me. He left me in the library to do something. My guess was to castrate Iliana, or whatever her name was. It legit didn't bother me what she did. I could care less, and now I was wondering whether I should stay here or go find him. I didn't know where he was, nor where the receptionist area was, so I decided to stay here. It's smarter that way, since this is the first place, he would look for me. As I guessed he would, so what to do now?

I like reading, but I also liked it when he was there, so I really just stared at the wall until I heard the door open. I had expected Aro, but instead it was Marcus. It had been thirty minutes and Aro wasn't back, yet. It made me feel restless, "where's Aro?" I looked at Marcus who was on top of me by now. "My guess" I said, "is castrating someone named Iliana." His eyes unfocused for a moment then refocused. "I have the feeling you're right."

He sat down next to me, "I'm guessing this was not something you wanted?" I shook my head, "no, she just thought I was a receptionist, and tried to take me to some desk job." "Hmm, is that injury on your arm from her?" I nodded, "yes, but it doesn't hurt, so I'm not sure why it bothers him." He looked like he was thinking for a moment.

"Think if it like this, if you saw the same mark on Aro what you would do?" oh my, I guess he was right "oh, well I probably would have found whoever made the mark and taken it upon myself to punish them." "see?" he said, "besides, you must also remember that an immortal feels the need to do something like that more than you would." At first, I was going to tell him to not do it again, that it was mean and rude; but Marcus was really putting things into perspective.

Aro's instincts, were telling him to remove the threat, even if he consciously knows that the receptionist would never hurt me… again that is. "Thanks Marcus that helped a lot." he chuckled dryly, "of course, but the next time you're angry at him for something like this. Think what you would do if you're roles were reversed." I nodded and he left, I also thought of lunchtime a few minutes ago. When Jane brought up the bowl, I had gotten angry at Aro because it took a hit to my pride.

But he didn't want me to leave the couch, just as much as I did. I sighed, I really made things hard for him today. I stayed on the couch inhaling his scent, but of course the minutes turned into an hour, then two so I took a reading book in the meantime to occupy myself.

Aro's Point of View

Now that Iliana was taken care of, I was strolling with vampire speed to the library. I only came across a few of the guard on my way there, not stopping for polite chatter. I wanted to get back to Rebecca, having access to her memories, I knew about her logical mind and that she would probably be there waiting.

It was around three a 'clock in the afternoon, so we still had some time before she had to reoperate her energy by sleeping. I opened the large doors with ease and found her sitting there on the couch book in hand. I used my vampire brain, (yes let's say that's a thing) to look at her beauty that continued to enrapture me. At the speed of a human, she looked up and saw me there. I was at her side before she could blink, and she snuggled into me.

"Aro?" what could she want to tell me? probably about killing Iliana, "yes?" I said tentatively, "I know why you did it, and I'm just going to say, if I was in your place, I would have done the same thing." I relaxed at that, "and also, I want to say that I'm sorry for how I acted a few hours ago. About Jane bringing up the food." I frowned "you don't have to apologize for anything cara, (dear) but out of curiosity why are you apologizing?"

She took in a deep breath and let down her shield. So, Marcus had talked with her and made her understand my motives. She wasn't necessarily happy about what I did, but she understood, nonetheless. I also saw the last few hours, she was lonely in that time, I don't think she meant to let that part out. I held her closer to me and she was good with that, we cuddled each other for a few more hours before she fell asleep in my arms. looking at her lithe form, I was so glad I had her, that she was mine and no one else's.

Charlie's Point of View (yes, he's back)

Bella had been going out with Edward a lot, and Rebecca was in Italy. So, that left me alone a lot at work, or at home. I decided I would text her to see if she was in Italy yet, or not, because she hadn't done so. then I remembered that she didn't have a phone, and I had no idea her address. I sighed; I would have to wait until she made first contact. *tap* *tap* *tap* I looked to the window to see a raven, or a crow, it was very pretty. Its feathers were sleek, and it looked like the pet my niece owned.

But that wasn't the thing that was so weird. It was that it had a message on its leg, not only that but the paper seemed very brittle. I opened the window to let it in, it circled the room before perching on the hat hanger near the door. I approached it and took the letter off its leg.
