Preface: Hello, again! This is it, the final battle of the Whisker Haven saga! I'm honestly a little nervous about this one - I literally only wrote this yesterday, and I nervous it could feel a little anti-climactic. But I guess I'll let you guys decide, right?

THE WHISKER HAVEN SAGA:
OF PLAYERS & PALACE PETS & KNUCKLES
Previously...amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Danny, Liam, and Kevin were summoned to the kingdom of Whisker Haven, where they learned that they must find a third set of Gadgets of Order across the multiverse in order to expose an imposter of the kingdom's guardian, Ms. Featherbon. So far, the team has achieved the first gadget from the spooky depths of Whisker Woods, the second gadget from King Bowser in the Mushroom World, the third from King Creep as he unleashed an infestation of creepers on Whisker Haven, and the final one within the Fountain of Dreams in Dream Land.
Now...the group returns to Whisker Haven, ready to finally expose Ms. Featherbon's imposter.

The heroes stepped out of the portal and entered the Pawlace for the final time. As B.D. excitedly looked around, everyone else was preparing for the confrontation ahead. "Alright, Treasure and I are going to get 'Ms. Featherbon'," said Pumpkin, making air quotes with her paws. "Buzzer, prepare the Gadgets of Order." She handed the fly all five of the relics.
The two pets scampered out of the room. "Well, this is it, guys," said Liam. "We're finally gonna bust that imposter!"
"Yep! We are!" said Danny, pumping his fist in the air. But the others noticed he sounded a little melancholy when he said that.
"You gonna feel bored after this, too?" asked Kevin.
Danny looked down. "Yeah," he said. "Even if we can't see each other in person…" He picked his head up a little and added "...not that we've been doing that anyway...we still make an awesome team! I thought I was excited for this to be over, but after thinking about it, I realized that I liked this little escape from reality."
Kevin nodded, understandingly. "I get it, man," he said. "One moment we're going on fantastic adventures through the multiverse, next thing we're reminded that we can't even at least attempt to recreate it. Well, not that dimensional travel is possible in real life, but you know what I mean."
Knuckles sighed, having heard the conversation. Deep down, he related to the players' plight, but he still kept a serious demeanor. "Look, guys. That's a bridge you'll cross when you get to it. For now, let's focus on the here and now."
"Knuckles is right, you three," agreed Buzzer. "But I must say, I am glad you're making the best out of a dire situation in your world."
Danny rubbed the back of his head. "Looks like I've been rubbing off on you two!" he said, chuckling.
Buzzer attempted to smile. Glad that his allies were back on track, he allowed the gadgets to hover around him, the red-glowing one on his left and the other four on his right, like what has always been done. However, he did not allow the gadgets' power to combine with his own just yet.
[BGM: End]
Shortly afterward, Pumpkin and Treasure returned to the throne room. "Ms. Featherbon is coming!" Treasure shouted. "Get ready, everybody!"
"Wha-what's happening?" said B.D., somewhat absent-mindedly.
"I'm not quite sure," responded Kirby. "But something tells me that it's gonna be big." He joined the others in getting into a defensive position.
The hummingbird fairy fluttered into the room, not expecting anything. "Alright, Pumpkin. What is your surprise?" she said, covering her eyes with her feathers.
Pumpkin looked at Buzzer, who began to properly use the Gadgets of Order. The relics began to twist and turn, making a small jingle, until they resembled the word "Mojang", with the fly as the 'o'. "This!" shouted the puppy as a blast of pure energy fired from the fly's body into the hummingbird. Right away, the fairy's imposter began to morph into his true form. Before long, the heroes were staring at the horrifyingly grotesque red creature with a big mouth, sharp limbs, and a singular eye that was seen in the book.
"Exetior!" Danny loudly whispered.
"Who?" said Liam, aiming his dispenser at the demon.
"That guy from the creepypastas?"
"Oh, you have got to be kidding me!"
"I have been anticipating this, fools," boomed the demon. A red glow seemed to fill the room around him. "Now that you've exposed me, it's time we settle this!" Exetior spread his arms out, opening a red vortex in the middle of the room. Right away, everyone in the room began to be sucked up by the vortex.
"Where are we going?" asked Pumpkin, in fear.
"I do not know," responded Buzzer, "but I have a small feeling we may make it out alive." WIth that, the fly was the last to be consumed by the vortex before Exetior himself jumped in. The vortex then closed, as if it was never there in the first place, and the room was quiet…

The 'generating world' screen vanished before my eyes, and I got my first glimpse at whatever hellish realm we've been taken to this time. We were all standing on a red platform decorated with flame icons that was floating in a void, lifeless except for the massive flames all around us.
Realizing what was going to happen, I got down on one knee and typed in "O fountain gems, stones of miracle, give me the power to defeat a great evil". But the gauntlet did not appear on my hand. "What the heck?" I shouted.
"The incantation doesn't work?" said Liam. "Oh, crap. We're dead."
Dreamy suddenly woke up, somehow having slept through the ordeal. "What is this?" she asked. "Are we in another nightmare?"
"No, I think this is really happening…" responded Knuckles, grimly. And he could not have been more right.
Hovering above us was Exetior himself. He looked down at all of his, his mouth dripping saliva. "Welcome to my realm, heroes," he boomed. "In this realm, I can create puppets of all of you who shall do my bidding." He grinned. "And if you die, you become one with them."
"Not going to happen!" cried Pumpkin. Fearlessly, she took out her Chaos Emerald...but then she, Treasure, and Dreamy all vanished.
Exetior picked up the emerald, and we could all see that they were trapped inside of it. "Sorry, pretties. But with that little emerald, you could spoil my whole plan. And we wouldn't want that, would we?" He then tossed the emerald into the air, where it began to hover above us. Exetior then held his spiky arms out, and that was when the real madness began.
[BGM: Tee Lopes - Ruby Illusions (Final Bos)]
Appearing in a red puff of smoke in front of me was, well, me. But my dupe had a darker coloration, sickly gray skin, and black eyes with red pupils and blood dripping from them. He held his own version of Chicken Blade, covered in blood, and I reached for my own version of it. Right away, we charged at each other and our swords clashed. And that was when I realized something crucial. "Hey! My sword lost its power!"
"Oh, did I forget to tell you that your magical equipment doesn't work here, either?" Exetior said with mock sadness. "Oopsie!"
Liam was fighting with his own .exe clone, who had a gray robe and a blood-dripping mask. "He's right," he called over. "My dispenser only fired one arrow!" He swung his pickaxe around, trying to dodge his .exe clone's arrows. "My pickaxe better not fail me now!"
Looking over, I saw that Kevin was struggling with his own .exe clone. "Sorry, pal. Gotta focus on someone else," I said to my .exe clone, and I slashed my sword in his face. Ignoring the massive gash I made in him, I used his vulnerability to run towards Kevin. Looking his gray, blood-eyed clone in the eyes, I jammed my sword into his body, causing a lot of blood to drip out.
"Thanks for that!" said Kevin, running towards my own .exe clone. "I'm gonna return the favor." My clone saw Kevin approaching him and began to fire lasers at him. Kevin simply placed a couple of cobblestone blocks in front of him to block them. "Can someone distract this guy?" he called over.
Knuckles pinned his own .exe clone to the ground, causing his dark red dreadlocks to spread across the floor. "I'll get him!" he shouted. Leaping into the air, he stretched his arms out and began to glide over the other .exe clones. Suddenly, Liam's .exe clone took a break from fighting his counterpart and fired a barrage of arrows into the echidna's body. Right away, Knuckles fell to the ground.
"Knuckles!" I cried, reaching my arm out in desperation. Kevin's .exe clone tried to use this as an opportunity to attack, but I just jabbed my sword in his face.
Kirby and B.D. were busy battling their clones, who had merged into one really grotesque being capable of firing bullets out of its deformed mouth, when they heard the commotion. "I think he's hurt!" cried B.D. "What should we do?"
Kirby got a determined look on his face. "Keep this guy busy. I'll take care of this." He ran away from and towards Knuckles.
The rabborgs were struggling with their own clones, due to their lack of magical powers. "(Y'know, sis,)" said Spawny, pinned to the ground by his dark gray clone, "(I've been meaning to tell you something…)" Before he could tell her, however, Kirby daringly inhaled a barrage of arrows from and spat a massive star bullet right in the way of the rabborg's clones.
"I think there's a saying behind all this," said the puffball. "What is it?"
"(No player left behind!)" cried Spawnette. "(Now, what were you going to tell me?)"
"Alright, Kirb!" Liam said, impressed. He wound up accidentally jamming his pickaxe into his clone's dispenser, causing it to break. "Alright, now we're talking!"
Kirby reached into some kind of pocket of his and took out a red tomato with an M on it. "Glad I always keep this on you!" He lifted up the tomato...and chomped on it into his mouth.
"Seriously, Kirby?" Kevin said, annoyed. But then we both realized what was happening. "Oh, no," we collectively said.
"I'm sorry, Knuckles," said Kirby. He bent down over the echidna's lifeless body and...well, if you played the Kirby games, I'm sure you know how they share food in multiplayer, so I'm not gonna say what he did. But I will say that we called a five-second truce with Exetior and our .exe clones to do a collective "EWWWWWWWW!"
"Gah! Make it stop!" cried Exetior. "That's worse than anything I've ever done!"
The power of the Maxim Tomato entered Knuckles' body, and he got up, all healed. "Thanks, Kirby," he said. "But please never do that again." After that, the echidna turned towards my clone, who was still reeling from what just happened. "And as for you…" Knuckles took the opportunity to charge up a Spin Dash and crash right into . The sword went flying through the air, and Kevin caught it from behind the cobblestone.
"Finally! I was starting to feel useless!" cried Kevin. My clone recovered from the attack and realized what was happening. Desperately, he flailed his arms as Kevin charged sword-first and slashed, reducing my clone to blood, as well as magic particles that floated up into the air. "Yes! That's what you get for making me hide!"
I gave a quick slash at Kevin's clone and turned to see that Liam had also defeated his .exe clone. That gave me an idea. "Guys! I think getting rid of their weapons weakens them!" I called out.
"(Really?)" shouted Spawnette. Curiously, she turned towards Spawny's clone, who prepared his scepter. Despite her twirls no longer having their strength, she began to do it anyway, dodging the magic blasts, before doing a swift kick in his stomach. The scepter flew through the air, and regular Spawny bravely caught it.
"(Now I'll show you!)" the rabborg cried, blasting his and Spawnette's clones with the magic. Before long, they were nothing but blood and particles, too. "(Hmm, where are those particles going?)" he wondered.
"No time to wonder!" I shouted. Liam was quickly crafting a shield for Kevin while I put up my own. Kirb-Dee was shooting bullets at me from his mouth, but my shield was causing them to ricochet over to the other .exe clones.
Knuckles ducked as a bullet attacked his .exe clone, weakening him to the point where one last punch reduced him to blood. "Watch where you're aiming that thing!" he shouted over to me.
"I would if I could, man!" I responded. Kevin had joined me, brandishing his own shield just as mine finally broke and I swung at Kirb-Dee. As my sword made contact, it left a scar on the hideous clone's mouth, finally causing the bullets to stop. B.D. used the opportunity to poke him with his spear a few times.
"Just doing my part!" he said as Kevin took his place. The creature began to use his spear against Kevin, now that his mouth was no longer an option. The shield absorbed every single hit before Kevin used a brief cooldown period to slice Kirb-Dee's arm off. One last stab from B.D., and the creature had fallen. "Yuck! Why do they turn into blood?" the Waddle Dee complained.
"And just one more!" shouted Kevin. He aimed his sword at his .exe clone and threw it right at his head. Splop, dissipate, you know the drill. "Yes! I can't believe we did it!"
"I can't believe Exetior didn't do anything to stop us!" laughed Liam. "He's as dumb as a Bond villian!"
We suddenly heard clapping behind us. It was a slow clap. A sarcastic one. Exetior must've done nothing on purpose. "Bravo, heroes. You've simply powered up the Chaos Emerald. The more .exe puppets you killed, the more power given to the emerald. And now…" He raised his hands, and suddenly, the final three .exe clones were right in front of us.
And they were a terrifying sight.

You can't believe the sight before all eight of you. Exetior was clearly waiting to unleash these final .exe clones. They are the ones of Pumpkin, Dreamy, and Treasure. All three of them have gray fur, blood-dripping black eyes, and are gigantic, about the size of Exetior himself. "We really messed up, guys," is all you can say. The realization that you're in trouble engulfs you.
"This is your last chance, heroes!" booms Exetior. "Surrender and become my slaves, or die trying to escape."
"What should we do?" Danny whispers. "Should we try to fight anyway?"
Your brain starts to think. Should you keep going? Or is it not worth it? Should you just give up and never play Minecraft ever again? But thankfully, the universe makes a decision for you: neither of them. Suddenly, the three giant .exe clones freeze, covered in a blue coating. "What?" cries Exetior. "Impossible!"
Next thing you know, blue and orange blurs enter into the fray, attacking Pumpkin's clone. Slowly but surely, she is reduced to nothing but blood. After that, a familiar piglet charges head-first into Treasure's clone, causing her to collapse on the ground. The piglet is then grabbed by the blue blur and the two are grabbed by the orange blur, who tosses them right through Dreamy's clone, causing one more blood splatter to occur.
The pig sets down in front of Danny, who gets a massive smile on his face. "Pork Chop!" he says. "Where'd you come from, boy?"
"Let's just say he had a little help," says another familiar voice. The blurs' identities are suddenly revealed as they stand in front of you.
"Sonic? Tails?" says Knuckles, stepping up to the two figures. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but thanks for appearing out of nowhere."
"No problem, Knux," says Sonic, shaking the echidna's hand. "But we didn't exactly come out of nowhere!"
Another new figure floats down, this time a silver-furred hedgehog with yellow eyes, black boots, and gloves with glowing blue highlights. Buzzer flies out of your inventory and is quite glad to see the figure. "Ah, it's very nice to see you, Silver," the fly says. "Did you find the real Ms. Featherbon?"
"Yep! And here she comes right now!" At Silver's words, the giant Chaos Emerald shrinks back to its regular size, and hovering in a glowing bubble are the trapped pets, who seem very relieved to see the hummingbird who's controlling the bubble.
Ms. Featherbon, the real one this time, pops the bubble with her beak. "There you go, you three!" she says cheerfully. "You're free as birds!"
"Whaddya know? The gang's all here!" says Liam. He turns towards Exetior. "Now you're outnumbered even more! What do you say to that?"
Exetior finally gets rid of his shocked expression. "Well, I have always wanted to meet the real Sonic the Hedgehog face-to-face," he says. Suddenly, his body begins to rearrange itself and drop to the floor. The hedgehog walks right up to the demon, who has morphed into a near-exact duplicate of him. The only differences are a darker color and the signature scary eyes.
"Hello, Exetior," says Sonic. "I've heard of you from those creepypastas everyone makes. I'm proud to meet you in real life, too."
"Be careful, Sonic!" warns Tails. "He may be doing something sneaky!"
Sonic turns around with a smug look on his face. "Don't worry, Tails," he tells the fox. "If he does anything sneaky, I'll-" Suddenly, Exetior reaches his hand out to strangle the hedgehog, but instead, the demon's arm gets grabbed, causing him to be thrown onto the ground. "See? I'm more prepared than I seem!"
"Well, even so," says Exetior, his pain quickly receding, "I got what I want!" Suddenly, he opens his hand, revealing seven, multicolored emeralds, all glowing with power.
"Is that why you told him to bring the Chaos Emeralds?" Tails says to Silver, abrasively.
"No! I swear! I had him bring them for something else!" Silver defends himself. But it's too late. Sonic backs up, and you all watch in horror as Exetior closes his eyes and emits a bright white flash.

Ms. Featherbon quickly blinked her eyes to get her vision back into focus. An absolutely terrible sight was before her. "Oh, dearest me!" she exclaimed at what she saw. Exetior had undergone a terrible transformation. He was still in his Sonic disguise, but now his quills were upturned with a glowing yellow color. A gold aura was emanating from his body, showing the demon's newfound power.
"Incredible…" he said. "This is the power of the Chaos Emeralds. And it's all mine!"
Tails gave Sonic a dirty look. "Alright, I'll be more careful next time," the hedgehog said, regretfully.
"Well, I guess I know my decision now, Danny," Kevin said, determinedly. "We are not going down without a fight!"
Danny took out his sword, which was still depowered. "We certainly are not!" he said. "Let's go get him, everyone!"
[BGM: Tee Lopes - Egg Reverie Boss Fight]
With that, everyone charged at Exetior, who began to charge back. The demon's eyes began to turn red, charging up lasers. "Not so fast!" cried Silver. Ms. Featherbon felt the hedgehog put his hand on her tiny shoulder. "Let's go help them!"
The fairy nodded. "Of course," she said. The two flew into the battlefield, ready to help. Ms. Featherbon began to chant a spell that she had just made up on the spot. "Doo-diddly-dum-dum-dong, make this fellow's psychic power more strong!"
Silver began to focus his power to put a shield over the heroes, when he suddenly felt a whole lot stronger. The shield went up over the battalion just as Exetior fired his laser eyes, protecting them all from the horrors of the sizzling red beam. "Wow! I've never become that powerful before!" he said, excitedly.
"Hey! Where'd this shield come from?" Liam questioned, brandishing his pickaxe.
"Who cares? Let's get this guy!" shouted Knuckles. The echidna punched the demon right in the face, weakening him, and Liam followed up by tossing his pickaxe in the same spot.
Exetior saw Silver and Ms. Featherbon powering the shield. "Ugh! Not you two!" he growled, reaching his arm out to capture them.
The Palace Pets noticed the arm reaching out. "He's gonna grab those two!" shouted Treasure. Suddenly, the three felt themselves being sucked up in a gust of wind.
"Sorry about this!" cried Kirby as he spat the three out, combined with a star bullet. The bullet hit Exetior's arm and alerted Silver and Ms. Featherbon what was about to happen.
"Thank you!" Ms. Featherbon called down. She and her ally flew down, joining the others. It was then that she noticed seven gray gems on the floor. "Oh, dear! The Chaos Emeralds have been depowered!"
Knuckles picked up the emeralds. "I'm not too sure," he said. "I still feel power emanating from them."
"Here, lemme see them," said Tails. The fox took the emeralds and stepped off to the side.
"And while he is distracted," said Exetior, seeing the fox take out his Miles Electric, "I shall destroy you once and for all!" He placed his arms around himself, turning the aura into a bubble shield. Power began to build inside of it.
"Or we can destroy you first, y'know!" cried Sonic. He turned to Liam. "Still got that arrow-shooting thing?"
Liam took his dispenser out. "Yeah, but I'm pretty sure it's…" He was suddenly caught off by Sliver using his telekinesis to lift up the dispenser. "Hey, Featherbon! Can you make this bigger?"
"Of course!" said Ms. Featherbon. "Make this device big to hold all, and allow them to fly out to make this demon fall!" The dispenser began to grow to an incredible size, allowing the heroes to all fit into the shooting hole.
Danny turned towards Pork Chop. "Wanna do it together, like old times?" he asked. The pig gave an oink in agreement. The two climbed through the hole of the dispenser, and Silver fired them through the air towards Exetior. Danny gave Pork Chop his pickaxe, held the pig in his hands, and began to spin around. The pickaxe made contact with the shield, and the power that Exetior had been building up exploded out of it, sending it flying through the arena.
"Me next!" cried Sonic. He was the next to hop into the dispenser, with everyone else slowly filling the device after him. As the hedgehog was fired towards the still-reeling Exetior, he curled into a Super Sonic Spin Attack and landed right on Exetior's head.
"Get off of me, you meddling hedgehog!" shouted Exetior, trying to grab the hedgehog.
"Not so fast!" responded Sonic. "I'm making sure you take the full blast!" He kept quickly stepping away from the hand as it tried to grab him, and the other fighters attacked Exetior while he was distracted.
"Enough!" shouted the demon. He finally picked up Sonic and threw him right in the way of the dispenser. In one fell swoop, the dispenser was reduced to rubble, and Sonic's impact created a shockwave that began to damage everyone on the platform.
"Whoa!" shouted Tails from the other end. He had finally finished his testing with the Chaos Emeralds when he saw Sonic lying face-first on the platform. "Sonic, are you okay?" he said.
"Well, my ego's a little bruised," Sonic responded, "but I think I can still fight."
"Yeah, we ain't doing so hot," responded Danny. He finally placed the cake he had been saving onto the ground and he, Liam, Kevin, and the rabborgs devoured it hungrily. "I should've made more!" Danny groaned.
"Anyway, I think I figured out what's up with the emeralds," Tails began, when suddenly, Exetior began to rain down lasers from his fingers.
"Everyone get under here!" Kevin shouted. He and Liam began to create a cover out of cobblestone blocks to protect everyone from the lasers.
"Anyway, it looks like Exetior only absorbed the negative energy from the Chaos Emeralds," Tails continued. "If we think of positive emotions, we should be able to repower them!"
"So I turn Super and kick his butt?" asked Sonic. "Because he seems to be pretty powerful already!"
"Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of this!" Kevin reached into his inventory and pulled out the magic, rifle-like device he decided to bring along this time.
"The Purifier!" shouted Danny. "Of course! That'll defeat Exetior!"
[BGM: Tee Lopes - Egg Panicky (Egg Reverie Pinch Mode)]
Suddenly, the cobblestone cover went flying into the air. "What's all this talk about defeating me?" Exetior taunted from the void. "That's it! Now I'm getting mad, and not just because I barely got to use my new power!" He curled into a ball and began to spin around, slowly growing and turning white. The fiery atmosphere in the void began to distort as his final attack began to be charged up.
Quickly, Danny and Liam grabbed the Chaos Emeralds and handed them to Treasure, Pumpkin, Dreamy, Ms. Featherbon, Kirby, Spawny, and Sonic. "Everyone! Think happy thoughts and aim at Kevin!" Liam instructed. "It's our last shot!"
There was no time to waste. Everyone began to think of their happiest thoughts. Pumpkin thought of the day she met Cinderella, dancing at glamorous balls, and dressing up. Kirby thought of munching on all sorts of treats, taking a nice long nap, and making sure that Dream Land was safe. Treasure thought of sailing the high seas, collecting riches, and all her friends in Whisker Haven. And Spawny thought of Rabborgia, his sister, and being brave. The power began to enter the Purifier, making the power already in there from the Gadgets of Order even stronger. "(Keep going, everyone!)" shouted Spawny. "(We're almost there!)"
The other three thought even harder. Dreamy thought of having a nice nap, dreaming all sorts of wonderful dreams, and giving Princess Aurora a big cuddle. Sonic thought of being absolutely carefree, munching on chili dogs, and making sure everyone is having a good time. Last but not least, Ms. Featherbon thought of the kingdom of Whisker Haven, the joy the Palace Pets bring her, and protecting everyone. That was the last little push the Purifier needed, and it began to glow all of the colors of the rainbow. "Buzzer, what's happening?" Kevin asked.
"It's in Hyper Mode!" declared Buzzer. "It is its second most powerful form! Nothing should stop us now!"
"I beg to differ!" the demon suddenly cried out. His final attack had finished charging, and he dashed right at everyone still alive there. If nothing happened, they would all be obliterated instantly as soon as he made contact.
This was it. The last chance. Kevin finally fired the Purifier. Magic energy flew right out of it, making contact with Exetior's body. Slowly, but surely, the demon began to be pushed back by the energy, but he would also push the blast back, too. "C'mon! Kill him!" Kevin gritted.
"It's no use!" cried Exetior. "Give up!"
"'It's no use,'" repeated Silver. "I'm getting real tired of hearing that!" With a real focus on his powers, he added a tiny bit of energy to the Purifier. Everyone watched as the energy finally began to engulf Exetior.
"Yes! C'mon, Kevin! One last push!" Danny shouted.
"C'mon, everyone! Cheer for him!" shouted Liam. Everyone began to chant "Ke-vin! Ke-vin! Ke-vin!" And with that, the Purifier finally registered, and the entire void began to be filled with white once more.
And as the heroes began to be sent back to whence they came, Ms. Featherbon felt the most joy she had ever felt in her life. Don't worry, Palace Pets, she thought. I'm finally home.
To be concluded...and next time: the aftermath!
Next chapter: "The Future Ahead" Exetior may have been defeated, but things aren't quite done yet! As the Whisker Haven Saga comes to a close and the players prepare to return home, Buzzer has a little more business to take care of. And some of that business involves a small sneak peak of what's to come next...
Postface: Chapter complete! I hope that was climactic enough for you! If not, I still hope it was a satisfying chapter, anyway. I'm really working hard on this story, and I want to make sure it gets finished.
I am a little nervous about how I executed it, but I really think that the way I depicted the final battle here was much better. It was cool having everyone fight clones of themselves based off of the different .exe forms of the Sonic characters in the Sonic . exe creepypastas (sorry I phrased it that way... rules!)! And also, Pork Chop is finally reunited with Danny after so long! And who was Buzzer's partner this whole time? Silver the Hedgehog, of course! I thought it made sense, considering the two were both psychic beings from the future trying to fix a disaster that ruined their time. Plus, Ms. Featherbon is finally free! Don't ask why Sonic and Tails are here, though - they just are! Anyhoo, Sonic's appearance means that the rest of the Chaos Emeralds are, too, so the form Exetior takes is slightly based off the UK Sonic the Comic's take on Super Sonic - that guy was practically a demon that existed within Sonic's body, and yes, that version really did have laser vision. As for the Chaos Emeralds being drained of their negative energy and needing their positive energy restored? That was a little something I took from Sonic Adventure, because that was what happened during the final boss fight. But why did the Chaos energy feed into the Purifier so easily? Stay tuned for an answer...
