Barbie's POV

This was not good!

I noticed Brian came alone.

That was really weird.

I shrugged.

It wasn't the first time that Dunbar did something that I couldn't figure out why.

Since he was alone I difinetly could fight him off.

So I quickly kicked my sharp heel right...right in his groin then I punched him in his jaw!

He yelped in pain as I got the chance to escape from his grasp.

"You bitch!" Brian hissed in pain.

I smiled.

"You should have known that we can use dirty tricks," I laughed.

But I decided to run off.

But then Brian attacked me from behind.

He threw a punch as I caught it trying to defeat my opponent.

But he kicked my legs causing me to fall.

Before I could get up Brian held a knife right to my throat.

"Are you gonna kill me?" I asked calmly

He chuckled darkly.

"It's a pity that I have to kill such an intelligent spy. But too bad you chose to be against us... Dunbar would have spared your life if you were on our side," he laughed as he made a shallow cut to my throat.

I rolled my eyes.

I was never going to work for that man even if it meant that I had to die!

I scoffed.

"I will never work for that man... I'd rather die," I hissed darkly.

He shrugged.

"Fine then! Let's get this over with," he replied.

I decided to try and hold a fight and save myself from this situation.

So I hit my knee into his stomach.

But then I heard a sound of loud bang and then Brian fell on me unconscious.

He was so heavy!

So I pushed him off of me.

"Oh my God... I love these pans! Patricia, you really need to get one. They are so helpful in the battles!"

I looked up to see Stella holding a pan in her hand.

I broke down laughing.

Stella quickly helped me up.

I looked at Stella and Patricia in surprise.

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked.

Patricia smiled.

"Cassandra knew that she couldn't let you go without Dunbar trying to cause trouble. So she sent us to look after you in case you got in trouble," she explained.

Then Patricia glanced at Brian who was now unconscious.

"Damn! You really hit him with high heels in the most sensitive part!" Patricia snickered.

We all laughed.

"Let's go...before he wakes up," Patricia said.

"Shouldn't we take him and investigate him? Maybe he knows something that can help," Stella suggested.

Patricia snorted.

"No, because he won't say anything even if he knows. And besides, all he would cause will be trouble," she replied.

Right then my phone rang.

It was Cassandra.

I picked it up.

"Hey Cass. Thanks for the rescue. Is everything alright?" I said.

"Delaforse is about to arrive in thirty minutes. Teresa will help you with the details. And you know the address. And your welcome!" Cassandra explained.

I nodded.

"Yeah totally," I replied, "see ya."

Then she hung up.

"We're headed towards Sligo's mansion," I said as I shrugged.

Right then I heard some loud sounds.

"Guys, I'll be back in a minute," I said as I walked in an alley.

"Okay... Be careful!" Patricia said as I nodded.

Once I got there I saw three men beating up another guy who was begging them to let him go.

I had to do something.

"Hey! Leave him alone!" I shouted.

They glanced at me and then laughed.

"What are you gonna do, little princess?" one of them teased.

I scowled as I pulled out my phone.

"I am going to call police," I said.

Right as I said that all three of them ran off.

I quickly helped the other guy to stand up.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

He nodded.

"Thank you. If you hadn't arrived on time, they would have killed me," he said.

I nodded.

"I'm glad you're safe."

I was about to walk away.

"Thank you so much. I owe you one," he called.

I smiled as I nodded.

I headed out.

Then I got in my car then I drove to our destination, Sligo's mansion.

"Holy moly! He's rich!" Stella exclaimed stunned.

I chuckled.

On the other side of street I saw Teresa.

"Hey Barbie, I brought everything we needed to get this done," Teresa said as she pointed to her tablet.

She handed me one of the handsfrees.

"It's not clear," I declared.

Teresa nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, we need a better signal," she replied.

I quickly grabbed my phone and called Cassandra.

"Hey Barbie, is something wrong?" Cassandra said quietly.

"Yeah, we need to get closer because we barely can understand anything," I replied.

She sighed in frustration.

"This wasn't the part of our plan!" Cassandra whisper yelled.

"I know...but we don't have much of a choice," I replied back.

She sighed in defeat.

"Fine! I'll open the garage for you. Hopefully you can get a better signal there."

After that she hung up.

I glanced at Stella and Patricia.

"We're staying out here in case you needed help," Stella said as we all nodded.

After a few minutes the garage gate was opened.

Then me and Teresa rushed inside where Cassandra was waiting for us.

"Okay, you guys hide here. I have guests up there," Cassandra said hurriedly.

And with that she ran upstairs.

Then I put the handsfree back on.

I finally could hear and see what was going on up there.

"Nice... Audio and video? Good job, Teresa. How did you come up with this?"

Teresa smiled.

"It wasn't so hard. And besides, this video will be recorded. So we can use it whenever is necessary."

I chuckled.

"Now let's see what they are up to," Teresa suggested.

I nodded as we both paid attention to the video.

"This meal is the so delicious. Who prepared it?" Elena Delaforse asked while eating.

I couldn't help but to roll my eyes at them.

"My princess Cassandra prepared it. She is a perfect young lady," Sligo replied.

I snorted. This dude was so clueless.

"She is indeed," Delaforse agreed, "So what was it you claimed that you knew about the singularity? Cause I have everything that little Roberts girl had."

Sligo scoffed.

"You really think you're smart enough to find the legacy?"

I rolled my eyes.

"Well... I do have what I need. At least I am smarter than you to find it first," she shot back.

"Oh but I am smart enough not to kidnap a child while being under the investigation of police," Sligo scoffed.

"But it worked in my favor. That little damsel in distress came along with all the clues for the singularity to get back her little sweet sister," Delaforse chuckled darkly.

It took me everything not to burst out laughing.

Yeah, right! And she fell for the false clues pretty clean!

"Well, that Roberts girl won't sit and wait. She'll difinetly cause trouble for you," Sligo brought up which caused Elena Delaforse to laugh.

She laughed as if he was telling her a joke.

I smirked.

She didn't know that I was already causing her troubles.

Right then I heard sounds of footsteps around.

I looked over to see one of Sligo's men.

I quickly grabbed Teresa's hand and dragged her to the storage as we both locked the door.

The sound of footsteps was getting closer and closer...

Until someone tried to open the door to the storage.

Oh God... Please no!
