A/N: a rather short chapter just to so I can update you guys on some things, so Updates might be sporadic for a while as some personal things have been happening though they have calmed down so updates might go back to normal idk though

Naofumi was relaxing under a tree's shade, sweat lightly painted his this body's face, the sun was starting to disappear beyond the horizon it was quite a beautiful sunset, Naofumi was staring at it as he pats the tiny pink bird on his this body's outstretched arm

"Thank you, you've been a big help" Naofumi states as he continued to pat the bird his this body's tail was unknowingly lightly wagging

"I should really name you, Hmm" Naofumi stated while putting a hand under his this body's head

"Filo I feel like might be a good name but it also feels a bit lazy doesn't it? Hmm" his this body's furry ears now flat as he tried to think he then lowered his this body's back as he laid down on the ground, the pink bird jumped off his this body's arm and fluttered to his this body's chest

"I don't even know if you're gonna look the same when you grow up so can I really name you right now?"

"Kya!"

Naofumi let out a small sigh "I guess that is a yes" Naofumi stared at the pink Filolial that was making his this body's chest her home

"Let's see… pink?" the bird gave him a death glare

"Yeah can agree still not the best…" and so Naofumi went back to thinking trying to scour his memories trying to find something and then it hit him

"Sakura..." he muttered

"Pia! Pia!" suddenly the bird on him started to jump Naofumi started giggling at the bird's action but then stopped as he tried to reign in his laughter

"So I guess you like that name huh,"

"Kya!"

"Alright then, well Sakura are you ready to go back to the inn and get some food?" he asked with a soft smile

"Pia!"

So with that got back up made sure the bag which held all his money still tied to his this body's hip after that he then looked to his left where a small pile of balloon scraps were laying and picked those up he didn't really have a container for them but it was alright as the pile was small enough to fit in his this body's dainty hands while he was doing this Sakura fluttered up onto his this body's shoulder

While walking towards the inn Naofumi heard a conversation now most of these he tried to ignore but this one seemed actual important

"Balloon scrapes huh, I can buy 2 for 1 copper" it was a man inside a stall talking to another man they were exchanging hands

'Ah, so I can sell these things there' he thought as he grew closer though Naofumi was uncertain if he wanted to deal with people but the slow and painful dying cry of his coin pouch convinced him to attempt to sell something for money

"Why don't we make a stop before we head to the inn," he says to the perched Sakura

"Kya!" The bird squawked with a sad tone it was excited about a meal but it now had to wait longer for that

"Ya Ya don't worry we will get food soon"

Naofumi now stood near the stand his head barely above the stand

"Wel-" The shop keeper stopped as he saw Naofumi standing before the counter

"What do you want," The man asked with a false sense of cheerfulness but Naofumi could feel the disgust in his voice

"I want to sell these balloon scrapes" Naofumi stated as he dropped the small pile of around 10 balloon scrapes

"Hm 10 scapes how about 1 copper coin for all of it?" The merchant asked with a sleazy smile

"You sold the other dude 1 per 2 so that should be 5 copper" Naofumi stated furry ears once again flattened against his this body's head

"Ehy, did I? You have to understand, I am being very generous already by buying and selling things to demi-humans-" the man continued to give poor excuses and his voice was just very grating on Naofumi he wished that he had kept some of those balloons alive so he could throw them at this man but with Sakura, it would be impossible to try to hold onto one of them

"Kya!" Sakura squawked at the merchant

"It's alright Sakura, we will be just leaving" Naofumi spoke as he picked up his balloon scrapes

'Let's hope we can find another merchant one that isn't an asshole but first let's get something to eat' Naofumi thought as he continued to walk towards the inn

It was the next morning Naofumi was eating his breakfast which was the same as yesterday though this time he was feeding Sakura some soup as he fed Sakura, Naofumi heard something very interesting amongst the normal conversations that took place

"Is that her?"

"Yes look at her arm"

"Ah! Yes, I see it what should we do?"

"Obviously we introduce ourselves"

"But is she not eating?"

"True but it should be alright"

"Hm if you say so"

And with that Naofumi could hear footsteps come towards him he turned towards the footsteps with an eyebrow raised.

A/N(2): so I know this chapter is rather short and that is for a couple reasons my mind won't just get off this even if I try to:

I can't find a depiction of the envoys I know it isn't that important but it keeps tearing at my mind I tried to ignore it but it still ate at my mind so if you have a description let me if there isn't let me know what race would make sense as I know that there is a political power thing going on with your race so want to be accurate even though it isn't important at all but it still pulled at my mind and on that note

so we are going with teenage Sakura. but the only thing I got for comparison is child Sakura as the wiki only states that their is a adult Sakura but it doesn't have a description for adult so It is hard for me to make a description for the in-between of those forms (teenage) so if you have a description for adult Sakura please let me know again it isn't important but my mind once again is having a fit that I don't have a description
