"Shelby we love you but Uh" Santana looks around at our shivering club "Why are we outside this boys and girls club in the cold?"
"Because of the snow they weren't able to have the toy drive" Alice wake up with Elaine, Diana, and my grandma "So we are going to pass out toys and after a bit you all will be a food a show!"
"What?" We look over at one of the prissy Cheerios named Talia "This is unbelievable! I'm going home!"
"If any Cheerios leave you are also off the team!" Sue walks over in a jacket and hat with a bundled up Becky "Let's go girls!"
Talia huffs and stalks toward the building "Fine!" She shakes her head "I'll play nice with the germ spreaders!"
"That's the spirit!" Sue smiles before walking toward the building "Come on crew! I have a reputation to fix and I have put money into making sure these kids get good toys!"
"Wow" I turn toward Santana who shares the same shocked look the other have "Sue paid for toys"
"She does every year" Becky shows a smile "She always comes and makes sure the toys are handed out! She does actually have a heart!"
"Hard to believe" Quinn shakes her head and starts walking "Let's stop gawking, talking, and start walking!"
Theres a cheer from the club and I smile "They are good kids" Mom wraps a arm around me "They got a good teacher"
"Thank you" I watch as they enter the building "I can only hope to be a good role model"
"You are" Judy smiles brightly "You are the best role model they could have"
"Agreed" We all jump when a heavily bundled Emma walks up "Sorry! I just got dressed by my date! She is supposed to be here"
"Emm" Frans words stop as her eyes go wide "Uhhhh mom! You weren't supposed to be here"
"Well this should be fun" Judy points toward the building "We can talk and hand out toys"
Fran pouts as Judy leads her in. Well this will definitely be more fun now! I can't wait to hear the story behind this.
-Time skip-Rachel pov-
It has been a nice day today. I can't help but notice how off Talia has been. Strangers that work here will walk up and talk to her. She nods and points to the same place every time.
I know it's none of my business but..if I left it alone then I would not be me. I see someone talking to her and they start walking toward the area. She's not escaping without a proper fight!
"You following?" I jump and turn to see Santana "I'm going whether you do or don't"
"I'm going" She nods and we follow to the entry point "You think we can follow?"
She shrugs and we slowly turn the corner "It's all here" The lady that lead her over here is talking "Theres new clothes and everything dear! I'm sorry it could not be more discreet"
"It's fine" Talia sighs and runs a hand through her hair "My sisters and mom will appreciate all of this"
"We are always here to help you" She gives Talia a hug "I'll leave you to talk to the two spies behind the wall"
"Damnit granny" Santana walks out and I follow suit "How did you know?"
"I caught Dave's signal" She smirks "Signals are not just a young mans game you know!"
"Thanks Jenny" The lady nods before walking away "So...you gonna tell I really have nothing but donated clothes?"
"No" Santana looks at Talia inquisitively "Why act like you do though?"
"Why act like you do?" Santana glares and Talia sighs "You Wanna hide your broken home too...you are just one of the lucky ones who get out of the broken"
"You can too" We all jump at Sue's voice "I've been back here trying to scope out a Santa...Anyways! The school is working on a program to help students and their families that are in need...means better homes and jobs"
Talias eyes fill with hope "Really?" Sue nods and a smile breaks out on Talias face "My mom can stop begging! My sisters can stop being made fun of!"
"You will be the first family in it" Sue pulls Talia into her "We got you covered kiddo"
"You need a Santa right?" Everyone's eyes move to me and I put my hands up "I'm singing Santa in! But we do have someone who's taller and better fit for the role!"
-Time skip-
"Remind me to take all of your presents away" I smile as mom puts on the fake belly "I'm going to rip that smile off your face Rachel! I know where you sleep!"
"Sorry!" I chuckle as I go to the door "I have to sing you on"
I walk out and look at the stage. Quinn is going up now for the reindeer part. She looks so lovely. Today is definitely pay back to mom for taking my judge spot.

"Alright!" Everyone claps as sue walks on and Quinn walks off "Now kids get ready! Cause now that the reindeer are here...well who comes next?"
"SANTA!"
"That's right!" Sue motions me up "So here comes our singing to get Santa up here!"
I start to go up but I stop. I turn to see Talia waiting a bit away. This place means more to her than any of us. I walk over to her and hand over the mic.
"You get this one" She looks at me surprised and I smile "You got it ok?"
"Thank you" She takes a deep breath and then rushes the stage being cheered on "Are you ready?"
"YEEEESSS!"

The kids go ballistic as mom walks on dressed like Santa. Thank god she is a actor too. She lowers her voice and changes her mannerisms. The smile on her face is as real as can be.
We have loved doing this drive today. Maybe next year we will come back and do it. I'd love to be able to support families like Talias. It's good to give back to people who need it.
It's what being a person so much more enjoyable.
