Chapter Thirty-Four
Ten minutes into the ballet, I realized why Carlisle wasn't a huge fan. It was terribly boring. I had to fight back the yawning.
"Hey," Edward whispered in my ear.
"What?" I whispered back.
"You want to go see the observatory?" He asked.
"We can't leave. Your mother will be upset." I said.
"Please?" He begged.
"We can see it after the performance is done." I said, "Why are you being so pushy?"
He reached around and grabbed my hand, then placed his on his crotch. He was extremely hard.
"We are not going to have sex here!" I whispered.
"Come on Bella," He said, "You know I'll make you feel really good."
"Not now, when we get back to my apartment." I said, moving my hand back to my lap.
He growled, pulling me tighter against him. He was pressing his erection right against my rear. I rolled my eyes and focused my attention back onto the show. A few moments later, Edward's hand started creeping up my leg.
I did my best to ignore him, but, when his hand slipped under the slit in my dress, I pinched his arm to get him to stop. It didn't deter him.

"We're not going to get caught." He said, "Everyone is in the ballroom watching the play. It'll be fun."
"I want to see the observatory. It sounds really cool."
The elevator opened up when we reached the top floor. We stepped out and found the door that lead to the observatory. He opened the doors and we walked through. He locked the door behind him.
"Wow," I said as I looked up, "The stars look so pretty."
He rubbed my rear as he looked up too, "It is really pretty."
He started to nibble the back of my neck as I looked around. I giggled, and gently pushed him off of me.
"Why do you want to have sex so badly on the boat?"
"Because of the excitement," He said, "Have you ever wondered what it's like to have sex in a public place? The risk of getting caught, the thrill of knowing you had sex here and no one else knows. Come on Bella. I think you'll love it."
"I don't want to get caught."
"We won't," He grabbed my hips and held them in place as he pressed his erection against me.

I groaned, my will breaking. I wrapped my arms around his neck and lifted my leg around his hips. He picked me up and sat me on a table, my back against a window. While we were making out, he pushed my panties aside and pulled himself out.

"Alright, let's get back downstairs, or else your mom will kill us."
We both took a minute to fix ourselves. We slipped back into the ballroom just as the ballet was ending. I prayed no one saw us leave and figured out we snuck off to have sex.
I clapped enthusiastically as it ended, then I reached over and grabbed my glass of water. I was parched.
"How did you like it Bella?" Esme asked me.
"It was wonderful." I said, "Truly spectacular."
She smiled widely, "I'm glad someone else likes the ballet as much as me. Perhaps we can start going to the ballet together."
I forced a smile, "That would be great."
The ballet dancers left the stage, and the band took their place back.
"Hey, Bella, will you go to the bathroom with me?" Alice asked.
"Sure."
"I want a dance when you get back," Edward called.
I rolled my eyes and followed Alice to the bathroom.
"You are dirty!" Alice said as soon as the bathroom door shut.
"What?" I blushed.
"I saw you two sneaking off! Oh my gosh! I'd never thought you'd be so dirty!" She squealed.
"Do you really have to go to the bathroom?" I asked.
"I do," She laughed as she walked into a stall. I waited while she went.
"So, are you enjoying yourself?" She asked as she walked out of the bathroom.
"I really am," I said, "Your mother did a great job."
The door opened, and Tanya's friend Victoria walked in. She spotted both of us and smiled.
"Hey Bella." She said.
"Hey, Victoria," I said, "How are you enjoying the party."
"Oh it's wonderful," she said, "So, Tanya said you owned a bakery."
"I do. On Bloor street."
"That awesome." She smiled, "So, I'm actually planning a birthday party for my younger sister. It's her twenty-first birthday, so we're having a big blow out. I wanted to order a special cake for it, do you make specialty cakes? Tanya said that you catered a wedding, and everything was so beautiful."
"Yeah, I do specialty cakes. I actually have a couple books on the cake designs I do. I do appointments and you can come by to try cakes and look at designs if that's what you want. My specialty cakes have to be ordered at least two weeks in advanced."
"That's perfect, her birthday party isn't until the end of January. I'll call you and set up an appointment." She said.
"Who was that?" Alice asked when Victoria left.
"Her name's Victoria. She's Tanya's best friend."
"Huh." Alice said.
"What"
"I don't know. Edward and Tanya dated for a while and I never met her."
"Maybe they just met," I said.
Alice nodded slowly, looking as if she were thinking about something. We walked out of the bathroom and back into the ballroom.
Edward saw me and stood, grabbing my hand, and dragging me to the dancefloor. We danced to a couple of songs before Esme announced that we were in front of the statue of liberty. I squealed happily and dragged Edward up to the roof.
We stood on the roof and watched the firework show over the statue of liberty. It was amazing. The show lasted for about forty-five minutes. After it was finished, the staff had four tables that were filled with all kinds of desserts and they served coffee.
By the time we got back to the port, my feet were sore, and I was exhausted.
"It was an amazing party Esme," I told her as we hugged.
"Thank you so much. I'm so glad you could come and experience it." She said.
"Thank you for inviting me." I smiled at her.
Edward hugged his family then we walked back to our limo. I couldn't wait to get in and take my shoes off. We slid into the limo and I immediately slipped my shoes off.
"I'm so tired," I yawned.
He chuckled, "Me too. I can't wait to get out of this tux and get into bed with you."
"I don't know if I'll be able to do anything tonight," I yawned again.
He chuckled, "Did you have fun?"
"It was amazing. I can't believe how extravagant it was. Your mother throws an amazing party."
"Yeah, she does do a great job." He said.
I snuggled up against his chest, trying not to dose off. A few moments later, his cellphone started ringing. He picked it up and sighed heavily.
"Hello?" He said, "What! Are you fucking serious?"
I jumped at his tone. He put an arm around my shoulders, pulling me back down against his chest.
"Yeah. I'll be there in less than an hour. Handle it until I can get there." He snarled.
"What's wrong?"
He shook his head, "Trouble at one of my businesses. I have to go handle it. Do you want the limo to drop you off at my house?"
"No, it's closer to my house. Why don't you just drop me off at my house and I'll grab my stuff and head over to your place."
"Alright, that sounds good." He told the driver where to go. A few moments later, we were on my street.
"I don't know what time I'll be back tonight," He said as he walked me to my door.
"It's okay. Go take care of it," I kissed him, "I'll see you later."
He walked down the stairs and back to the limo. I opened my apartment door and turned the lights on. I tossed my shoes to corner of the room.
The thumping of loud footsteps made me look up. I screamed when I spotted a masked man, running from my bathroom straight towards me.
