Hey y'all! Welcome back to 50 Nobleshipping Drabbles! I chose this chapter's prompt for a similar reason that I chose the Colors prompt. Music can help people show their emotions in a constructive and healthy way. You can also tell a lot about a person by the music they listen to, similar to how their favorite shows or books can reveal a lot about them.

Prompt #34: Music. Rating: K
Music. That's what Critias heard when he woke up that morning. He could immediately tell it was coming from a piano and, knowing there was one in the music room down the hall, he followed it there. Entering the room he found Zigfried sitting at the grand piano in the room, playing it in such a way it was hard to believe he wasn't a professional. Critias smiled, recognizing the piece being played as "Adagio Sostenuto" by Beethoven. Zigfried had always liked classical pieces, preferring to play them over more modern styles of music.
Critias left the room, heading back to his own room to get ready for the day. After getting ready he walked to the kitchen to get some breakfast. He entered and opened the fridge, looking through it to find a good choice for breakfast. He eventually decided to eat some eggs and toast, grabbing everything and beginning to cook. As he cooked he noticed Leon enter the room, the younger male wearing a pair of headphones. "What are you listening to Leon?" asked Critias, glancing over.
"Huh? Oh, hey Critias!" said Leon, taking off one headphone to better hear the blonde. "I'm listening to "Love Story" by Taylor Swift!" he said, grinning. Critias smiled and nodded. Leon loved fairytales and stories, even having his deck based around said fairytales. It would make sense that he liked music and songs that reminded him of fairytales, and his music preference was a mix of some classical and modern. A strange combination, but it suited the younger male perfectly.
After eating Critias went back to the music room. He saw Zigfried was no longer playing the piano, but was looking through the different music books. Critias sat in one of the chairs, picking up the guitar they had gotten for him. They had music back in Atlantis, but it no longer had any place in the modern world. Instead, he had found himself drawn to country music. When asked about it, he told everyone it was similar to Atlantean music and that many country songs had great meanings and feelings behind them. He slowly began playing, watching out of the corner of his eye as Zigfried sat beside him to listen.
"I love it vhen you play liebe…. For someone who has never even picked up a guitar until recently, you play beautifully…." said Zigfried, smiling. Critias smiled as he continued playing. "I just like to play… you can tell a lot about a person by the music they like…." he said, closing his eyes as he played. "Vell, if zhat's true, zhen you're an honest, hardvorking man who loves his family and friends….." said the German, smiling. "and you're an elegant and sophisticated person who sees beauty in the world…" said Critias, opening his eyes again. Zigfried giggled and kissed Critias' cheek, listening to Critias play until it was time for lunch.
Done! I love country music. It's the music I grew up with! I do listen to other kinds, but nothing beats the old country music. Not every music is to everyone's tastes, but it's something we share and all love :3.
