Paw Patrol X: The Hearts of Truth

Nephilim arc Episode fourteen: Zuma's First Infiltration

Nathan Sharp's cover of the Overlord opening theme played with Charm's eyes opening after a transition of sorts. Flare was then shown to be blocking a punch from Trickery as Nathan Sharp was heard singing. "Can someone give me the (Flare kicks at Trickery, who dodges the kick with ease) a-answer, (Marshall is shown to be tending to a wound Skye gained in the fight) to my (Richie is shown to be shooting at Charm, who dodges the bullets with ease) que-estion? (Chase is shown to be taking out some robots with Snow beside her) Where's my (Rocky and Everest smash a robot's head into the ground with full force) soul?"

A stream of grass was shown as the words Paw Patrol appeared on the screen from gun shots going though them, followed up by the X being made with two sword slashes as the music continued. The Hearts of Truth then appeared through a blazing flame going across them with the Paw Patrol then shown, leading up to Flare giving a peace sign as the song continued with the lyrics coming back.

Flare was shown to be gaining some kind of dark power during his battle with Trickery. "It's like a virus in my body (Flare dashes at Trickery and grabs his neck) while I'm (Flare starts choking Trickery, who likes the feel of the moment, disgusting Flare) dreaming. (Marshall finishes tending to Skye's wound and gives her a thumbs up) When I wake up, all that's (Marshall scratches his head and laughs innocently as he looks at the screen with his eyes closed) left of me are bones."

Richie was shown regaining his balance after a brutal kick from Charm as the song continued. "I'm in a panic! (Richie dashes at Charm and aims a punch at him) Get out, (Charm grabs Richie's fist with Richie trying to knee him but failing) hurry. (Chase throws a soldier at Snow with full force) Oh there are mysteries, (Snow kicks the head of the soldier, knocking him out instantly) and many miseries. (Rocky is seen roundhouse kicking a soldier to the floor) Dead of alive, I'm on the brink (Everest stomps on the soldier's face and kicks him aside brutally with a creepy smile) of self destruction."

Skye was watching the battle before grabbing a gun and aiming it at some soldiers "As I'm (Skye starts shooting the soldiers, catching the others attention) roaming, (Rubble gives a thumbs up to Skye) from left to right to (Skye smiles in response to Rubble's gesture) An invitation, (Zuma is shown to be casually using a soldier as a pinata) to come disappear . (Flare knocks Trickery to the ground and glares at him furiously) We're dancing one, two, three steps (Flare snaps out of his trance and grabs his head, gaining an immense headache) on this dark stage."

Charm was rising up in an elevator as he looked at all of the destruction he was causing in certain towns and cities. "Raise your flag, march and fight. Break your mask and show some pride! (Charm takes out a soda can and takes a sip with a proud smile) While this war just sends a shiver down my crooked spine. (Charm is shown to be speaking about the future) Wars and swords, tears and blood. Feel my heart begin to race. (Charm chuckles devilishly as he gives an evil grin) As I laugh through this bloodbath we've made!" Charm is shown to be in Flare's nightmare, waking him up and giving him anxiety.

Richie was shown to be having some kind of demonic surge in his body that he tried to fight back "Can someone give me the (Rocky is shown to be trying to get to Richie with Marshall holding him back) a-answer, to my (Flare rushes over to Richie without warning once he sees that he starts turning evil) que-estion? (Flare hugs Richie, who smiles upon his gesture, only to suddenly go crazy again without warning) Where's my soul? Where's my heart? (Richie's body heats up and ends up sending Flare back, sending him into a tree) Am I losing my own self?"

Rocky was shown looking at his sword in some sort of bus, seeming to be on edge about how the mission went. "Don't you hesitate, go this way-ay-ay. (Flare looks over at Rocky, seeing that he's feeling down about something) I don't know. And I don't care. (Flare puts his paw on Rocky's shoulder to comfort him with a smile) Tell me, are you not entertained now?"

Richie was fighting back against his demons in his mind with his power as he slashed at his demonic side with his sword "I'll just keep (Richie's demonic side grabs his sword and crushes it) surviving, (Richie kicks his demonic side, sending it back with full force) I just cannot hide it all. (Rocky is looking at a picture of him and Richie with sadness surrounding him) I am not to fall a victim, (Rocky punches the wall out of rage and sadness) I'll continue living in this, (Zuma puts a paw on Rocky's shoulder, who starts cring and hugs him) misery driven (Zuma pats Rocky's back, knowing he's going through a hard time) world!" Flare was sitting under a tree as he thought about Richie with Snow walking up to him to see how he was doing. Flare clenched his fists with confidence that they could save Richie as the song ended with Paw Patrol X: The Hearts of Truth being shown above him.

Rocky and Zuma were heading into the lookout elevator as Rocky asked Zuma something about their future. "Let's say we eventually leave the Paw Patrol, and as a result, we start seeking out our true passions in life. What do you see yourself doing when that time comes?"

"Besides snuggling with you at night?" Zuma asked flirtatiously, making Rocky smile as Zuma then got serious about the situation. "Actually, I'm not sure. I nevew took the time to consider what I wanted to do."

Rocky could feel what Zuma was feeling right now, having some struggles with his decision as the elevator started going up. "Yeah, I hear that. I bet Chase would probably become a cop and Skye would become an ace pilot at an airport, or perform shows in them. Do people do that?"

Zuma shrugged as he and Rocky arrived at the top with Ryder looking at the base as he spoke to them. "Thanks for coming you two." Ryder turned around as he started talking about the military base he was looking at. "This is one of Charm's military bases. If we can take it out then we'll gain an advantage in the final battle, since Charm will have less soldiers and less weapons to work with. We can't send too many members of the team though, as we still have to keep up with our training, so I decided to see how well you two work when on missions alone."

Rocky felt like they could handle this with Zuma wondering if he would be up for taking out a base from their strongest enemy. "Sounds pretty straightforward. Let's do it!"

"Yeah, I guess." Zuma responded, hoping he wouldn't mess up. His rare instance of being worried about his skill surprised Rocky quite a bit. "I've never infiltwated a base before."

"As long as you work well with Rocky and focus on the mission, you'll do great." Ryder assured Zuma, and Rocky put a paw on his shoulder to assure him that it'd be okay.

The Paw Patroller was driving Rocky and Zuma to their destination with Zuma still wondering if he could pull this off. Rocky was concerned for Zuma, but he knew chastising him wouldn't work, so he decided to just talk casually and see how things went. "So. This isn't like you. Must be something to deal with your first infiltration. At least taking part in said infiltration, since you helped Richie that one time during the first month Flare and Marshall joined us."

Zuma had to admit that Rocky was right, but he also knew that this would be tough for him, since he was a first timer. "I guess I'm just not used to this sort of thing so I'm worried I'll scwew it up at some point. (Looks at Rocky) How many times have you done this?"

"In the time I've been with the Paw Patrol? I'd give it a solid three." Rocky answered, chuckling a bit as he told Zuma that it'd all be okay. "And it's not like you're doing this alone either. We just confirmed that I have experience with this sort of thing, so I'll be able to show you how I do things and what you can do to work off of me."

Zuma liked the sound of that, having to admit that Rocky being there made things a lot better. "It would be nice to see how well we work on missions. Shouldn't be to hawd if you ask me."

Just then, robotic barks were heard from the front, startling Rocky and Zuma before a robot dog was shown wagging his tail and looking at them. Ryder came down on a screen next to him as he explained who he was. "Oh, right; you guys haven't met Robo-dog yet. I recently built him as the driver of the Paw Patroller, and also a fighter in the final battle." Robo-dog barked playfully and wagged his tail, showing that his personality seemed to be that of a real life dog. Rocky and Zuma weren't sure what to expect, but Rocky smiled, already taking a liking to it.

The Paw Patroller was nearing the destination as Rocky was playfully teasing Robo-dog while the machine was in auto-drive. He was holding up some kind of dog toy that had a chrome coating to it with Zuma laughing as he watched. "Cmon Robo-dog, get the stupid dog toy. (Robo-dog jumps up) And feel free to show off your built-in jetpack if Ryder bothered to give you one." Robo-dog jumped up again with Rocky throwing the toy into the air and making Robo-dog fly up to it with his jetpack, making Rocky laugh as well as he saw it. "It's almost as if Ryder made a pet just for us!"

Just then, the car stopped with Rocky grabbing onto the seat so he wouldn't fall over as Zuma looked out the window and they all saw the base. "Guess we're hewe." Rocky and Zuma went to exit the Paw Patroller as Zuma looked back at Robo-dog. "Hold down the Paw Patwoller for us Wobo-dog. We'll be back as soon as we can." Robo-dog barked and gave a salute, and then he saw the dog toy and jumped down to it before grabbing it and smiling.

Rocky and Zuma got a good look at the base when they got close, making sure to stay out of the view of the guards. Rocky signaled Zuma to stay behind him, which he did as the two of them sneaked around while looking for a proper entrance. It wasn't easy though, and the fact that it was Charm who made it didn't help. Then Rocky got an idea and started digging a path under the wall, managing to dig his way underneath it as Zuma grinned to the audience proudly in response to what Rocky was doing. "It helps to have a boyfwiend who loves getting dirty."

Zuma hopped into the hole and went behind Rocky as the latter put on some x-ray goggles to have a better chance at seeing above. Zuma took a liking to this and smiled a Rocky commented on it. "And Chase thought I was gonna take these apart for another invention. Boy would he be slapped in the face for blindly assuming that." Rocky found a good opening and started digging to the top of it before cutting a five second fart on Zuma, making Zuma smile seductively as the yellow rotten egg cloud hit him smack in the face (phhhhhhhhhht).

Rocky smiled proudly as he then rose to the top, leading to someone pointing a gun at him as Zuma went up as well. The solider was on his knee and when Rocky looked around, he saw that he was all alone. "Did you seriously fart underground with those x-ray glasses on? At least make my job a challenge for me." Rocky laughed a bit and then disarmed the soldier by grabbing his gun and pulling it out of his hand. He then ducked under the soldier's kick and tackled him to the ground, pinning him down while holding the gun up to his head. "You wouldn't kill an unarmed soldier, would ya!?"

"Well...seeing as you're working for the biggest threat in the world, AND you aimed your gun at me and pretty much threatened to kill me..." Rocky knocked the soldier out with the butt of the gun after kicking him in the stomach, putting the gun away for future use. "Let's hope we don't run into any more inconveniences like that."

Zuma walked over to Rocky and complimented him on how well he did there. "That was pwetty hardcowe Wocky. I always took you for more of a sword weildew over a gun weildew."

"You can thank Richie for that." Rocky informed Zuma, and then he walked over to him and gave a flirtatious grin as he spoke up. "Maybe we can fool around with this bad boy after we finish the mission."

Zuma wagged his tail happily with one of the soldier's taking notice to them while he was eating a burger and turning around to watch them. "Darn it, I knew I should've put more soldiers out there!" The soldier grabbed the microphone as Rocky and Zuma entered the base, alerting everyone of their presence. "Attention everyone in the building! Two dogs, one a mixed Terrier breed, and the other a Chocolate Labrador, and apparently they were stupid enough to miss the camera by the entrance!"

Rocky and Zuma looked up and saw the camera outside the entrance with Rocky having something to say about it. "Oh crap."

The soldier finished his statement as he grabbed his burger, and it was then revealed that the power source was in his room. "Stop them now! I'll guard the power source from my room!"

Rocky scoffed, finding the soldier's condescending remark to have instantly become outdated. "Well it's a good thing he's an idiot and just revealed he's near the power source. He could've stumped us for at least ninety percent of the game."

Zuma laughed a bit as soldiers then appearing in front of Rocky and Zuma, aiming their guns at them with the one in the front demanding that they surrender. "Drop your weapons and come with us!" Rocky smirked and did as they wished, only to then drop a flash grenade and covering both his and Zuma's eyes as they slid under the leader's bullets. "I should've been more specific!"

Rocky punched the guard in the face with Zuma knocking out the second one, leaving Rocky to slam the third one's head into the wall, knocking him out cold. The fourth and fifth soldiers regained their vision with the fourth one kicking Zuma back, only for him to regain his balance and charge at him. Zuma then grabbed his punch and uppercutted him in the jaw, leaving Rocky to grab the arm of the other soldier and slam him into the fourth soldier. That knocked them both out and gave them bumps on their heads as Rocky and Zuma hi fived in celebration.

Rocky and Zuma arrived in a room that seemed as if it was empty, leaving Rocky to give Zuma some advice on how infiltrations usually went. "Some infiltrations lack the intense action that usually come with the ones Richie gets assigned with, but that's okay." Rocky spotted a switch and took out a ball, throwing it over to the switch and hitting it. This caused the room to reveal a bunch of hidden lasers as Rocky and Zuma expertly went through them, jumping over the ones that were too low, and sliding under the ones that were too high, while making sure to avoid the rest.

At one point, Rocky frontflipped over Zuma as the latter slid under some beams, leaving Zuma to toss Rocky up to the ceiling and kick open a vent. Zuma did his best to avoid the lasers as he arrived at the wall, running up it and jumping off as he then grabbed Rocky's paw. He put his knees up high and his butt and tail were barely able to avoid the last laser, leaving Rocky to pull him up as the two of them started crawling through the vent to find out where the source of the base's power was.

Rocky was quite proud of how well that went as he then finished his explination to Zuma. "Some of the infiltrations require puzzle solving. Granted that wasn't too complicated of a puzzle, as all I had to do was throw a ball at a switch to get it unlocked, but still."

Zuma was glad to be learning all he was about base infiltrations, finding the one he was on to be a bit of a rush. "It's definitely a new expewience for me. I hope we get to team up like this on missions more often." Rocky was glad to hear that, and then he put his focus on the mission so he and Zuma could find the source. They just had to find the room with that moron who announced it.

Rocky and Zuma soon arrived at a part of the vent that had them go down, which they did, continuing onward as they started to smell food. They then noticed that there were two open vent drafts right by one of the tables, and as two of the canine guards were eating, Rocky snickered and got an idea. He gestured to Zuma, who paid attention as Rocky put his butt up to the vent. As he did this, he happily released a five second fart into the cafeteria, allowing the green, moldy cheese cloud to exit the vent and go under one of the guards, causing him to react (pfffffffffft). "Are you serious?"

The other guard spoke up as Rocky and Zuma snickered with Zuma then putting his butt up to the other vent. "What? That wasn't me." Zuma grunted quietly and ripped a five second fart, letting out a green cloud of fish underneath the other guard (brrrrrrrrrruuuuuuuuuup). The other guard flinched as he then denied the flatulence. "That wasn't me."

Rocky and Zuma were trying to hold in their laughter as they kept farting and getting at the guards for it (phhhhhhhhhht) (pfffffffffft) (brrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaat) (pfffffffffft) (bllllllllllaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrp) (phhhhhhhhhht) (pfffffffffft) (bllllllllllaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrp). The two guards were trying to refrain from punching each other as Rocky and Zuma winked to each other, leaving their butts shown as they both cut loud and bassy twenty second farts into the cafeteria, making their butts vibrate as they let out yellow eggy clouds (PHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHT) (PHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHT).

The guards got fed up with the first one pushing the other guard's face into his butt, ripping a loud and bassy three second chilli fart right on him and burning his nose with a green cloud (BRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUP). The guard covered his nose as he jumped onto the guard and sat on his nose, rubbing his butt on him as he shouted. "You wanna fart on me buddy!? I'll show you a fart!" The guard ripped a loud and bassy five second yellow clouded fart, hitting the guard with a nasty gas cloud of rotten eggs as he arched his butt forward (BRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUP).

The guards continued farting as Rocky and Zuma were shown crawling through the vent and snickering about the situation, avoiding loud laughter so they didn't alert the guards of their presence. Zuma was already having a great time, wishing he'd gone on more infiltrations in the past. "Dude, that was awesome. I should go on infiltwations more often."

"Yep. this is one of the best parts of being on the Paw Patrol." Rocky replied happily, glad to be showing Zuma a good time. "Kinda makes me wonder why Flare started going on them first." Zuma started to wonder that too with the two of them climbing up and arriving at another path that was above everyone. As they continued onward, Rocky saw one of the guard's entering a room while making sure no one was watching him through the vent, taking out a screwdriver as he gave a sly grin. "Let the victory commence."

Rocky unscrewed the vent and pulled it back in, making sure no one was watching him as he jumped out with Zuma coming out after him. Rocky successfully caught Zuma as Rocky flirted with him a bit as he walked on for a bit. "Seems that happiness just keeps falling into my arms."

Zuma giggled a bit with Rocky setting him down once they arrived at the room the guard entered, leaving Zuma to wonder what the backup plan was in case the power source wasn't in the room. "Let's say this doesn't end up being the room with the power souwce, and the place goes on lockdown. What's our backup plan?"

"Simple. We hide in the vents until we find the REAL room and then shut this place down for good." Rocky explained, tossing a gun over to Zuma as he explained where he got it when pulling out his sword. "I borrowed it from Richie. You ready?" Zuma nodded confidently, knowing that battling was something he knew more than enough about to participate. "Alright then. Let's party."

Rocky kicked the door open with the guard shown to be near a bunch of monitors as he turned to Rocky and Zuma. "Do you two mind!? I'm trying to guard the power source from two intruders- (Realizes how dumb he is) and I just revealed the location of the power source, didn't I."

"Yeah, pretty much." Rocky and Zuma replied in sync, and then they spoke in sync with each other while looking at each other and smiling as they found their random in sync talking to be adorable. "Stop it. You stop it. Okay, find; we'll both stop at the same time." Rocky and Zuma stopped for a moment and aimed their weapons at the guard, who was starting to get annoyed. "Alright buddy, we're- (Look at each other with grins) Oh, you lovable trickster; I thought I had you there."

Rocky and Zuma giggled lovingly as the guard demanded that they hurry up and get the battle over with. "Can you two save your flirting for later!? We have a battle to get to!" Rocky and Zuma winked to each other and then dashed at the guard, who vanished with a smoke bomb and teleported behind them. This led to Rocky slashing at him, only for the guard to pull out a metallic glove and grab the sword, leading to Rocky kicking him back. Zuma shot at the guard's foot, making him lose balance before Rocky slashed at him again, only for him to duck underneath it.

The guard aimed a metallic punch at Rocky, only for the latter to sidestep away from the punch and kick him in the face. This led to the guard falling on the ground as Zuma dashed up to him and held a gun up to his head. Then, Zuma froze with the guard taunting him as soon as he noticed. "Ha! Is this your first time killing someone!?" Zuma started shaking a bit, and Rocky took notice, starting to worry about Zuma as he walked over to him. "Well you're doing a pretty good job at making it yourself!"

The guard pulled out a gun of his own with Rocky kicking it away and using his sword to block the metallic hand as he put his other paw onto Rocky. Together, the two of them pulled the trigger on the guard and finished him off, leaving Zuma stunned as Rocky slashed at the power source. Rocky then noticed that Zuma was in shock of what just went down, kneeling down to him and consoling him as the alarm went off. "You can let it all out as soon as we get to the lair. But we should probably bail or else we'll be the Charm's new target practice dummies."

"Yeah; okay, let's bail." Rocky and Zuma ran as fast as they could with Rocky holding Zuma's paw, spotting a window that was just about to close. He and Zuma jumped through it just before a couple of guards could shoot at them, running towards the entrance and climbing up it, getting over just in time. As more guards came out, Rocky and Zuma made a break for the Paw Patroller with Rocky throwing a grenade at the guards. One of the guards' bullets shot the grenade, causing it to explode and send them all to the ground with Zuma still contemplating what was going on.

Rocky and Zuma were heading home with Zuma still contemplating what happened as Rocky sat down next to him with some chocolate milkshakes. Rocky felt it was best to let Zuma talk about what happened, knowing that he had a high chance at getting through to him. "This is about that guy we shot, isn't it."

Zuma accepted his milkshake and admitted to this being the case with what he said next. "I've never killed a living being befowe. Wobots, yeah, but never something with actual blood flowing thwough their veins." Rocky understood what Zuma was getting at, putting his paw on the one Zuma had available as he continued. "I know he was working for the bad guy, but it felt...wrong."

Rocky understood what Zuma meant, knowing that killing wasn't something that everyone was comfortable with. "Everyone responds to their first death differently. During my time as a stray, I met this pedophilic Rottweiler who tried to kiss me, making me believe he was giving me shelter, so I shoved a knife into his neck first chance I got."

Zuma wasn't shocked by this, since Rocky killed someone who was clearly a bad person, but had to admit that the backstory intrigued him. "You were a lot younger when that happened. How did you feel? If you don't mind me asking that is."

"I felt...strong." Rocky admitted, having to admit that he didn't mind the feeling at the time, or at all now. "That guy was clearly a terrible person, and he was plotting to do something that would've traumatized me. If I didn't do what I did, I wouldn't be where I am today, protecting our town and stopping evil. (Looks at Zuma) It's important to know when to forgive. But it's just as important to know when NOT to forgive. When someone's gone too far, you have to put your foot down, and say no."

Zuma found Rocky's words to be heavy, noticing the seriousness in his voice as he said it, only having one word in mind. "Dude." Rocky saw that Zuma was stunned, only for Zuma to bring him in for a kiss, much to Rocky's enjoyment as the two of them let it sink in. Robo-dog was watching in curiosity, wondering what the two of them were doing.

Rocky and Zuma arrived back home with Ryder waiting for them outside the Lookout to congratulate them on their success. He was quite proud of them, since taking down that base made great progress for the Paw Patrol, and increased their chances of winning. "Great job guys. We'll be stopping Charm's evil plans yet!"

"All in a day's work Ryder." Rocky stated confidently, having had an amazing time with the infiltration. "And I think the next time Zuma and I team up will be even better, now that he knows what he's doing."

"Oh, stop it." Zuma joked while playfully shoving Rocky's chest, leaving the two of them to head inside and get some food, since they haven't had lunch yet. When inside, Zuma revealed that he still wasn't quite okay with what happened. "I know killing is a pawt of war and all that, but I still feel off about what happened at the base."

Rocky opened up the fridge to make some food for him and Zuma, assuring him that he would be there for him no matter what. "Would your favorite lunch cheer you up?" Zuma happily nodded his head yes, knowing that Rocky knew him well enough to master what he loved to eat the most.

Rocky was currently making some hot smoked salmon with freekeh salad, knowing that it'd help ease Zuma's mood about earlier. As he was preparing it, he saw that Zuma was still thinking about earlier today, seeming to be contemplating about what was told to him by Rocky. Rocky knew that this would help him though, taking the food over to them once it was done and setting a plate down in front of Zuma. "This should help you get your mind on the right track."

Zuma smiled and took his first bite after Rocky sat down, knowing that Rocky was going to be a good cook for a long time to come. "Thanks Wocky. Spot on as always."

"Well it's usually Skye who cooks it, as you already know. I just followed her recipe." Rocky explained, and Zuma nodded in response as the two of them continued. Rocky then got an idea for something Zuma could do that didn't involve killing. "Ya know Zuma, military bases usually have medical professionals on duty to help everyone without getting involved in the violence. Basically healing them and tending to their wounds." Zuma gave Rocky his full attention as he finished what he was saying. "Maybe we could ask Ryder to make you a team medic."

Zuma found the idea tempting and thought for a moment, wondering if it would work out in the end. "It's definitely an idea. But I don't know if Wyder would be okay with me sitting out of the battles just because I got anxious after killing one dog."

"Zuma, you're clearly gonna be taking longer to get used to killing than I did." Rocky didn't want Zuma to be pressured, knowing it was best to let him get used to killing at his own pace. "I'd rather have you get used to killing at your own pace rather than force it on you." Zuma was grateful for Rocky's words with the Mixed Terrier breed getting down so he could talk to Ryder. "Can you watch my food for me? I'm gonna go see what Ryder thinks of the idea."

"You got it." Zuma assured Rocky, who ran off to the elevator with Zuma putting a napkin over Rocky's plate to keep anything from getting on it. He also put a dome around it so no ants could get on it before commenting on it. "Pewfect."

Ryder was looking at the progress on how the Paw Patrol's victory was looking with Rocky coming in from the elevator. Ryder gave Rocky his full attention, seeing that he most likely had a reason for coming up unannounced. "Hi Rocky. Is something up?"

"Besides the sky, no." Rocky joked, and then he got serious as Ryder kneeled down to him, explaining the situation with Zuma. "So you didn't see this, so it's not your fault, but when Zuma and I encountered the leader of that base Charm owned, we ended up killing him, and it's hitting Zuma pretty hard." Ryder nodded in understanding as he rubbed his chin with Rocky stating what his idea was. "So I got to thinking about ways that Zuma could help the team without getting involved in battle. The first thing I thought up was making a Paw Patrol medical office."

Ryder took a liking to that idea, feeling that the Paw Patrol could use some medics on sight. "Now that you mention it, having a medical unit here would be a lot easier than driving into town to treat wounds and tend to injuries. (Starts thinking hard) I wonder how long it'll take to make one."

Rocky found out a way he could speed up the process, knowing that it'd help Ryder quite a bit in terms of motivation. "Did I mention that if we hired Katie to work here, we'd already have a strong medical professional in our care? (Ryder flinches) And she did provide some decent help a couple times since Flare got here."

Ryder saw what Rocky was getting at, in more than just trying to set him up with Katie, and he decided to start planning on that as well. "I'll get started on building this place after we defeat Charm. It'll make a massive improvement for the team's resources." Rocky gave a thumbs up to Ryder as he then headed to the elevator, pumping his fist as he cheered about how he was helping Zuma.

Dragon Ball Super Usubeni cover by Mark de Groot instrumental played during the credits as Flare was shown walking around the lookout as he thought about life. Flare looked up to the sky as he then thought about how he was going to help the team in the future. The music suddenly got more intense as Flare was then shown fighting off four members of the Waste's, seeming to have fun while doing it as he kicked one right in the face and made him fall back into another. The next shot showed Flare and the others witnessing Richie's in his demonic form as he looks in horror.

Richie glared at Flare, unable to contain himself as he and Flare started their battle once a male voice was heard singing. "Farewell, (Flare blocks Richie's kick, only to get sent into a tree) beautiful lover. (Flare dodges Richie's fire ball, not wanting to hurt him to an immense degree before saving him) I love you so, (Richie kicks Flare across the ground, hurting him immensely) but still I let you go. (Flare gets determined and charges at RIchie with full force) Under this pink sky is where we went our (Richie blocks Flare's kick and clenches his fist) seperate ways."

Flare regained his balance from getting send back and blocked three hell fire balls as the song continued "I want you to (Richie dashes up to Flare) know I love you, (Flare lands a punch on Richie after the latter grabs him by the neck, showing that he knews he has to figth back in order to save him) so I won't let you go. (Richie throws Flare to the side) I wish I had (Richie lands a solid flaming kick on Flare, who blocks it the best he can) said these words to you, (Flare is shown to be heavily wounded on the ground) But I have left all these words unspoken."

Flare thought about the promise he made to Rocky, refusing to let him down when he's so close now. "Like pink petals start to fall. From the blossom tree so tall. (Flare stands up and faces Richie, who shows respect in his refusal to give up) And they dance to a, bittersweet, melody." Flare and Richie went into their fighting stances as the two of them got ready to continue. An illustration of them in their stances was shown as the song ended.
