Spunky

"Crap, crap, crap! We're gonna be late!" Mina cried as they ran out of the dorms. "This is all your fault!"

"I like to cuddle!" He replied just as scared of their teacher's wrath as she was. "It's not my fault we fell asleep!"

She scoffed. "Well, it's not my fault you wanted the Clutch Gusher!"

Izuku choked on his spit, coughing out. "You're ridiculous, you know that, right!?"

Mina ran ahead of him and turned around to face him, running backwards just to let out her tongue and pull down her lower eyelid with her middle finger. Izuku rolled his eyes at the bratty nature he was determined to protect, (and discipline.)

"At least I don't ask you to 'go beyond',"

Mina gasped, now running next to him. "I will poke you." Nudging her horns to him.

"Babe, I will pull on them." He retorted.

Mina shuffled away, "Woah, this isn't the bedroom."

He drew blank eyes, "For the love of g-, ahh!" He tripped on the front steps of the school, not realizing they arrived. He rubbed his scraped-up cheek as he got up and dusted himself off, he was ready for her to laugh at him, holding her sides, which she did obviously, but he didn't expect the next part.

"Aw, are you okay, Sweetie?" As she cupped his face and checked his wounds, she found a small cut and gave it a quick smooch, "There, all better." Although she was being playful, the underlying care was there.

"Um, yeah, thanks, Babe." Their outrageous argument ended as they entered the school.

"Remember when it was impossible for us to talk about sex and stuff like that?" Mina casually asked.

Izuku grew pink cheeks but nodded. "Y-Yeah, I mean it's still kinda hard for me but you're getting pretty lax about it." He chuckled a bit.

She giggled along with him scratching her cheek with closed eyes. "Yup! I guess it started to happen after the hotel and the conversation with Midnight was actually really helpful." She opened her eyes looking at the floor in affectionate thought at how their relationship was developing.

"You're right... but there's one thing."

"Hm, what's that?" She mindlessly asked, still in her fluffy thoughts.

"We're still gonna be late!" Izuku reminded her as he clasped her hand, running down the hallways, dragging her along.

"Ah, I was too caught up with being sentimental!"

"I know and it was cute so I didn't want to interrupt!"

They rushed to their classroom as the clock winded down. For some reason, when they ran through the doorway, Iida and Uraraka were standing by the side acting like the referees. He blew a whistle while she made the safe call, swiping across with her arms.

"We... made... it..."

"Yeah... but just... barely..."

Izuku and Mina were panting with their hands on their knees.

Uraraka laughed, "That was fun you guys!"

Iida adjusted his glasses. "Midoriya, I expect this from Ashido but not you!" He pointed with his robot arms.

Mina crossed her arms under her bust with a huff. "I am not afraid to corrupt your broccoli boy and have him join the traffic light trio."

"Wait slow down, what?" Kaminari didn't get the reference.

"Just stop..." Kirishima grumbled off to the side, overhearing their conversation.

"Go on," Izuku was puzzled but intrigued.

"This can't be happening right now!" Toru was the only one who heard all three and bursted out laughing, banging her fist on her desk.

The light-hearted atmosphere carried on throughout the rest of the morning, the class wanted to unwind after the heavy party they had over the weekend, as if they all unspokenly agreeing to deal with the fall-out just a little later on.
