"Seto, I don't care if the Duke of Glowerhaven has connections that could help the Kaiba Corp grow! I'm not going to marry that sweaty swinging scowling sack of swine shit!"

Despite his best attempts, he doubled over in silent laughter. He had become familiar with her comebacks thanks to the earlier phone calls but that had to be one of the most vividly painting pictures she had made yet. True to his word he had cleaned up, the mess he had made in the office and himself with a quick body shower, and Mai had brought him to the entrance of the extravagant dinning hall in "record time" evidently. A passing person accidentally bumped him from behind, causing him to stumble into the room slightly, and earning the gazes of two blue eyed individuals.

The man stood, his eyes narrowing when he spotted the newcomer, and made to stop Anzu when she moved around the table to welcome them. No doubt it was the same one he had seen upon the pier in the loch that was lead away by the bear-like dog. So this was her older brother. His whole being radiated with a pressure that would cause any to be compelled to follow him or any order he gave, but being the once merman he was more than capable of throwing off the other's male's presence. He himself was a prince, after all, and he would not bow his head to just anyone. Pride was important, something else that the humans seemed to share with them.

"I knew you cleaned up nice but wow!" She commended the clothing choice he had gone with; black button down shirt, violet satin vest that accentuated his eyes, charcoal stained jeans, a pair of polished black pointed dress nice in her eyes, even his hair had been combed well enough that she could now see the red violet tips from the black and the golden blonde bangs framing his face seemed like a crown. She found herself between a rock and a hard place when she noticed the way Seto was staring daggers at her new friend. Their earlier conversation came back and was currently haunting her; she should have ignored the summons to discover this person's name. "Don't be rude. He is my guest and I expect you to treat him as you tell me to treat one of yours."

He crossed the room with her, earning a raise of her lips in the form of a soft smile when he expertly pulled her chair out, then took his own once she had settled. Being a prince had taught him several different forms of mannerisms and he was sure that several would come in handy. Though her welcome was warm he couldn't help but take notice of the cold piercing gaze from the man who had returned to his seat at the table. His eyebrows rose when the brother, Seto, leaned towards Anzu to speak to her in hushed whispers and to make things even more confusing they had slipped into a language he wasn't familiar with. Most of the conversation went over his head, mostly from their use of a language he was not familiar with and her responding in a similar manner then reverting back when she spoke to him directly.

"You can take as much time as you need healing up," her hand drifted across the table's surface to lightly brush against his own. "I'm sure that accident was horrible for you so there's no rush. Stay as long as you want." The earlier the outfit she had been wearing hadn't been horrible, not by any means, but what she wore now was much more suitable than anything he had seen so far. She was dressed entirely different than she had been upon the cruise liner and the nights they had met were so dark he had no opportunity to take in her appearance. He could see everything now and the sight before him made his heart give a stutter; black stockings that reached her mid thigh, small pair of gray heeled boots that reached her ankles, a dress the color of sea foam hugged her figure in a way that accentuated her curves and lean build that corresponded with the love of dance he had witnessed, a mahogany sleeveless jacket, and chestnut hair that tickled her jawline. To say that she was beautiful to him was an understatement. That statue couldn't hold a candle to the real thing.

Dinner was served with large silver domes and he felt as though a lump settled in his throat when her brother's dome lifted to reveal a very panic stricken crab who silently begged for help. Amethyst eyes trained on the conversing pair, his hand lifted his own dome and gestured for the little crab to cross the table. He tensed while practically slammed the dome back down as their attention shifted back to him, hearing a soft whimper coming from within the metallic dome as the telltale impact of the crustacean inside meeting the far side of the dinnerware, his head bobbing in an excited nod when she asked if he wanted to join her on a trip into town.

It wasn't until he was safely back within the suite Anzu had shown him upon their arrival earlier this morning that he allowed the crab to come out of hiding within the vest pocket, placing it atop of the dresser. Though he himself had been unable to open and allow for friendships his younger brother, shy though he may be, had managed to make at least a few friends. "Nice to meet ya, the name's Jono." So this was the crustacean that Yugi had formed a strange partnership with. He held up a claw and explained that he had been asked by the younger sibling to help his now land walking older brother and the prince couldn't help the conflicting emotions of thankfulness and doom. "Stick with me an' you'll be just fine." Of the stories Yugi had told him, Jono was not known for his smoothness with females, but he appreciated the company.

Music caused their attention to shift to the open window, both blinking as they caught sight of something moving within one of the larger enclosed balconies. The prince watched with interest as a figure appeared, the the music coming from a source he couldn't see increasing in volume, and his breath stalled when she slowly started to sway in time with the music, settling farther within the frame to better see her figure gently move with the notes' rise and fall. It had been devastating when she had said earlier that her dancing was no more but it was obvious from the movements she was making. He nearly leaned too far forward that he about fell through the window sill if it hadn't been for Jono's quick pinch to bring him back down from the clouds. His cheeks burned when she caught sight of him and shyly bowed his head in acknowledgement. This earned a wide smile and wave before she disappeared from sight into the room that the balcony was attached to and the music ceased. He frowned when he caught sight of the crab staring at him with a flabbergasted expression. "Yugi was right, you got it bad."
