"See you guys this afternoon, I'm going to go take this quest in the Goblin village a couple of cities over."

Just like that, after sleeping in, Naruto was gone for the day. Buying everyone who had yet to get anything to thank him with, the chance to get their birthday gifts for him. It was actually a massive relief for a lot of them since it came them plenty of time to work with.

-2 Hours Later-

"So... you're the Goblin Chief?"

"Yes, welcome to our village, it's a small village, but it's ours." A small green man, the size of a human child, spoke as he bowed his head to Naruto. He wore scraps for clothes for the most part, had yellow eyes with bar pupils, and long elf-like ears, not to mention jagged teeth. He was ugly by most traditional ways.

The village was also extremely underdeveloped.

Only 50 or so goblins in the village, 49 male goblins and 1 female goblin that was only a child, and half of the male population were children. There was also a single human woman carrying a pair of twins in her arms, a succubus female, and a birdmaid woman.

"So what is the problem?" Naruto asked as he tossed the paper to the Chief.

"A few of our rangers and scouts were killed, and we're worried. We don't have any Hob-Goblins in our village, and the Cave Village several miles west was destroyed. Our people are getting slaughtered." Chief Goblin seemed irritated, grinding his teeth with killer intent leaking out of him. "We believe somebody, or a group, are going around and destroying our brethren... find them and stop them."

Goblins were a 99.99% male species.

They had massive breeding abilities to breed with any other female species and create goblin children, but due to the speed of their breeding they were told to limit the amount of females in their villages to no more than 5 women. So, the current law of the land allowed them to buy a village sex slave for a period of 7 years to keep their numbers and sexual urges in check. Usually a succubus would also be willing to come and do their part for the species since they didn't mind too much, and breeding females were treated VERY well by the goblin species since they were protected, provided for, and when not in the middle of a gang bang treated with immense respect.

It was not unheard of for a sex slave after she gained back her freedom to keep living in the goblin village, gaining an affection for the little green men.

Goblins were also a violent species by nature, and they didn't speak the common language.

Naruto was using his chakra to connect his spirit to their spirit to erase the language barrier though.

"Can I see the bodies?" Naruto asked, curious to see if he could identify anything of the sort. "Where were they attacked as well?"

"7 dits... I mean 21 km in that direction."

When Naruto got to the bodies of the dead goblins in a tent, Naruto looked over them and he saw one was killed by a ranged weapon, an arrow of some kind. The other one was killed by blunt force, somebody throwing a fist sized rock at it and crushing his skull.

The Chief looked at the bodies with utter hatred.

"The Goblin tribes have coexisted with the new laws for generatins, but we still face such hateful discrimination from other species... killed for what the goblins of the past did!"

It would seem the Chief had a bone to pick.

"Calm down, I've got this. There at least 2 people, maybe more in the attacking group. Anyway, they unlawfully killed, so I'll take them back to the city to await trial for this. You'll get justice, so don't go seeking revenge, okay?" Naruto asked as he held the arrow that was found near the body and brought back. A broken arrow, but still something that Naruto could use to find the people that did it. "... This rock wound was inflicted by magic, but not a magic familiar to this world. That means this might be a case of somebody from another world being sent here. This entire mess might be an unfortnate case of a person seeing a goblin and freaking out." Naruto summarized.

The magic didn't feel the same as Zel's mana or even Crim's mana, it felt different in composition.

Tanya's magic felt different from Ainz magic, and both of their magic felt different to Subaru's magic or Kazuma's magic. Magic from different worlds tended to have a different feel to them by design.

"Magic users, take our village shaman with you, he will be of great use to you!" The Chief was happy to lend the manpower to Naruto.

Naruto just waved him off.

"No thanks, I've got this down. You guys aren't very fast, and speed is key to making sure no other goblins get killed by mistake."

-1 Hour Later-

"I see 2 guards outside of the cave, and they look tired. I can get both of them with one shot." A petite elf archer stated as she looked back at her group. "Dwarf, have you figured out where we are yet?"

"I've not a clue, these mountains don't match up with any map I've got on me. What say you scaley?" The Dwarf Shaman of the group stated as he was staring down at the maps.

Their group consisted of 2 humans, a high elf archer, a dwarf shaman, and a lizardman priest.

Said priest was putting great thought into the matter.

"We can't let our guards down, we must assume that the goblins used some kind of magical item to bring us here. They can't have been too intelligent-"

"Goblins aren't smart, but they aren't dumb either. They can learn, if taught." A fully armored man spoke.

"I'm taking the shot."

The second the High Elf Archer let the arrow from her bow, a hand came out of nowhere and snatched it right before it even got a foot away. Naruto came out from behind a tree and he looked at the arrow, and he pulled out the broken remains of the arrow that killed the goblin previously.

"Okay, so you guys are the ones killing goblins in the area. It seems there has been a misunderstanding here, but I'm going to need you to stop killing goblins okay?" Naruto asked them as he looked over at the group. They were now on high alert the second he caught the arrow.

"Stop killing goblins?"

"Goblin Slayer... can we listen to him?" The human girl, a Priestess, put a hand on his arm.

"No, an ally of goblins is an enemy. He sides with those who torture, rape, and kill for fun. We have nothing to talk about-"

-20 Minutes Later-

"You really should have talked to me." Naruto stated as he finished dragging the group, tied up and unable to fight back, to the goblin village. He had removed their armor and weapons from them, but kept them clothed. "Magic and weapons don't really work on me that well, only certain weapons can really injure me. Anyway, hey Goblin Chief, I'm going to fill them in on their situation and then take them to the city."

"Ofhsbfoittt Ihn!"

"He said kill them, but since you're not able to put up a fight, I can't exactly kill you. He's really pissed off, but he won't do anything." Naruto dragged all of the tied up and gagged adventurers into the tent. He forced each of them to sit down in the comically small, goblin sized, chairs that were waiting for them inside. "So, for starters... you're not in your world anymore." Naruto started off with that piece of information.

That got their attention.

Naruto removed their gags.

"Impossible."

"Very possible, I'm from a different world as well, but not your different world, but my different world. I have some friends from other worlds, but they adjusted pretty well... oh, and there is no way to go back. One way dimensional travel to this world." Naruto informed them of that little tidbit of information.

It seemed a little shock was going through the group.

"I see... and we can't kill goblins?"

"No, you can't kill goblins here. These goblins are hard working, tax paying citizens of the country. They sent our an official quest to help them capture the people killing their villages... which is you guys, isn't it?" Naruto answered the previously fully armored man's question. He went by "Goblin Slayer" it would seem.

"So what, these goblins aren't the same as the evil goblins of our world?"

"No, they are very similar actually. But they learned that acting on their evil urges means being wiped out by the MANY stronger species. So, they follow the rules to avoid being exterminated, but they DO follow the rules in order to maintain some level of peace and understanding." Naruto could sense the evil nature of the goblins in the village pretty easily, but the fact remains that they had adapted to follow the laws of the land and had changed. "But you still can't kill them until they break the law." Naruto added on as he looked at each member of the group right in the eyes as he said that.

"I... can't kill goblins?"

"I think you just broke his world." Dwarf Shaman stated as he looked at Goblin Slayer's face, which showed genuine shock.

"So, goblins in this world are civilized?" High Elf Archer asked as if she found that extremely hard to belief. She couldn't imagine it, she looked outside of the tent, and she saw several females walking around freely in the village. "... Those women..."

"Happy and healthy, other than during the full moon when they go into a breeding frenzy, they are treated with the utmost respect and protection. Goblin villages are allowed a maximum of 5 women per village so that they don't overpopulate. Usually, you can find a succubus or birdmain, but sometimes they go to big cities to enter a contract with a sex slave for a certain amount of time."

"How awful!?"

"Don't worry, the girls sold themselves into slavery. In this world, nearly all slaves become slaves of their own free will, and they have contracts. Any illegal slave trade is punished harshly. Also, a sex slave for a goblin village signed an agreement saying that she would be willing to pop out goblin babies for 7 years, then she would get her freedom back." Naruto explained the culture to them.

It was hard for him to adjust to this too, since he still wasn't used to some of the normal things of this world, that just were considered wrong in his world. Still, the fact that people had the choice to go into it did help ease his mind.

"... I can't..." Goblin Slayer just stared down at the ground.

"Considering my current status as Dark Hero..." Naruto put his hand to his forehead.

Damnit Death Abyss!

He would have liked the Hero title more, but apparently when he would have been given the title of hero, Death Abyss threw a fit and stated that she already gave him the title of Dark Hero. His title was officially changed from Hero to Dark Hero, which just did not sit right with him.

"Dark Hero?"

"Technically, I was suppose to be a Hero, but the Demon King threw a hissy fit. Awhile back, I went to Hell to train, and destroyed a good chunk of Hell while working out. Since I'm a Great Destroyer of Hell, I technically fulfilled the conditions for Dark Hero... and I gained the Hero title after defeating an army of demons... by fucking them..." Naruto had super red cheeks when he had to explain his status.

Blushes on the girl's faces, and surprised looks on the guys faces.

"You fucked-"

"My nickname is Legendary Army Fucker... but all things considered, I'll use my name to get you guys off with a lighter sentence. You did still commit a war crime against a goblin tribe, so usually you would get death, life imprisonment, or in the case of you girls, being required to replenish the numbers of goblins you killed." Naruto explained why he needed to use his title for them.

"Please, Legendary Army Fucker, use that title of yours and get us out of this, and we won't kill another goblin... now THIS is an adventurer right?" High Elf Archer asked the group as she smiled a wide smile. "We ended up in another world, this is the kind of unexpected thing an adventure should have. The gods rolled a good num-"

"OH! You're from THAT world." Naruto stated when that clued him into what was happening. "... No, the gods rolled a 1."

"Eh?"
"What?"
"Excuse me?"

"The world you came from, the way you adventurers live your lives is decided by the gods rolling dice. Well, from what we know, you guys sometimes get sent to this world when somebody uses Gate magic, but rolls a 1 and ends up with a critical fail. Thankfully, now that you're in this world, you're no longer subject to dice rolls." Naruto got up and untied each member of the group.

"Urhger viol huijja?"

"They came from another world, where goblins didn't integrate into society. They killed your people by complete accident, and they are very sorry." Naruto stated as he encouraged each member of the party to bow their heads.

"Uh... So-"

"He doesn't speak the common language, so just bow your heads." Naruto interuppted the actual apologies.

This was how Naruto spend his birthday.

He didn't know it, but he had a surprise waiting for him back home.
