All I Wanted
Chapter 34
Author's Note : I know i worried most of you bringing back Victoria and Ted. But there is nothing to fear. Brucas family isn't going anywhere. I'm thinking of showing the birth of the babies then a time the tuned.
Days Later
While .And Rachel were busy planning a baby shower for Brooke. And I spend a number of late nights trying to figure out where Victoria and Ted currently lived. No surprise to me after they did that interview they retreated back to New York.
They didn't expect any response from Brooke and I. So when i showed up on the front porch of their mansion.
My presence was unwelcomed. And i enjoyed that.
"I saw you're interview. Discussing Angie and her bio parents. You held alot of the power back when Brooke and i were dating as teenagers. But those days are long ago. And my warning to you was clearly taken as nothing but me assure you."
"Brooke. Angie. And our new babies. Are my entire life. So these games the two of you play of humilation and wanting to put a spotlight on matters you know nothing about ends today. We all have our limits. The two of you have brought me to mine. Stay the hell away from my family. Do not mention Brooke. Angie or anyone else in our life. Because at this point neither of you have anything but each other and that's not much."
"If you want to meet the dark side of me that almost murdered my father. I can do that. Empty threats. Acting as if anyone cares what you think or how you feel is laughable. I'm not scared of you." Lucas proclaimed. As he turned from them. And left the home.

The Submerge
"Where do babies come from.?" Angie asked. Looking to her mother.
Brooke took a long sip from her lemon scented iced tea and stared back at the young girl seated beside her.
Wanting to have quality bonding girl time. Brooke set aside time for lunch and a day at the spa just the two of them.
She knew this question was coming at some point. But she hadn't expected it to be in public when she was trying to relax.
"We will talk about this over milkshakes and some kind of dessert." Brooke replied.
Once they were seated in the outdoor seating area. Away from other people. With milkshakes on one side and a delicious dessert on the other.
Brooke locked eyes with her daughter.
"Babies are creations of love. Two people who are in love when they are old enough. Sometimes decide to express their feelings. By allowing themselves to become close to another person. Babies are hopes and dreams. Wrapped up in a new little being."
"Does that answer you're question.?" Brooke asked.
"Yep. So now i can tell you all about the sleepover. And how much much fun it was." Angie replied.
Brooke smiled warmly. As she put a hand on her belly.
"The babies are kicking away. I think they want to join the fun." Brooke said.
Angie stared down at her mother's belly. "Can i feel it.?" She asked. Unable to tone down her curiousity.
"Get over here." Brooke replied. Taking Angie's hand in hers. Placing it right down on where she felt the kicks the most.
Angie giggled. Her eyes going wide.
"It's like they're dancing around. I'm excited to be a big sister." Angie announced.
"I'm glad to hear that. These little ones are going to need you and look up to you so much. The three of you are going to be best friends. That's a real gift."
"I grew up as an only child. You're dad didn't get to be brothers with uncle Nathan until high school. But you are getting the chance to build a relationship from the minute they are born."
You're going to love them and they are going to love you. Unconditionally." Brooke proclaimed.

Weeks Later
Lucas placed on the walls of the living room framed photos from the baby shower and recent maternity photos that were taken.
At 37 weeks along. Brooke was 9 months into her pregnancy. Given the fact that she was carrying twins. The couple tried to prepare themselves for Brooke going into labor anytime.
Because at this stage the twins were considered full term.
...
Brooke felt such hope and pride looking around at the finished nursery. She was disbelief at how her life had evolved so much. When she first came back. She would of never envisioned the happy ending she was living now.
