To my beloved old readers and my delightful new readers,

Thank you so much for occasionally commenting on this story! I DO want to finish it! I haven't forgotten about it! I will admit, your wonderful comments have certainly helped to keep it at the top of my mind!

I'm presently three weeks away from finishing my current degree and will have the entire summer off before I begin University in the fall. I'd like to spend the summer wandering around the US, and working on my writing. In that time I'd like to see this story through to the end, as it's probably been one of the most fun things I've ever written. I'm also hoping to finish my novel, Siren's Bay, that's been 4 years in the making, and get it sent back to my editor for re-evaluation. The story is already complete, but she's like to see more dragons (and I'll never argue about adding more dragons!) so I'm planning to incorporate some ideas from a separate story to flesh out some of the dragon history and presence. It's also a romance novel about a social outcast and the ex-fiance of the town chief defying all odds and turning their lives around. And also dragons. Lots of dragons.

But I do NOT want that to draw away from the ending of this novel, as Siren's Bay also began as fanfiction. Eventually, I'll probably adapt this story into its own novel, and I'd like it to be the sequel to Siren's Bay. One of the reason's I'm so excited to be going back to college is to bring more realism into my writing! Not as in "more like real life", but closer to "hey, this could really exist!" rather than "because... um... magic." And in all honesty, my schooling has already been helping me! I'm in chemistry right now, and from where I'm standing, it's not far off from potions haha.

So, please. Keep commenting. And we'll finish this story together! 3
