Once they arrived at Copernicus city, everyone was able to move around in zero g. Once the ship finished docking, everyone left the ship and went into the city.
"Where are we" asked Toki?
"We at Copernicus City, the only neutral city on the moon" said Cagalli.
Tenten looked around as she jumped up and down.
"Doesn't look like it or feel like it" said Tenten.
"It was made that way," said Kira.
"Why are we here" asked Yugito?
"This is the best place to wait until the Chairman makes his move since they allow anyone in" said Cagalli.
"Also, to find that imposter and take her out," said Kira.
"You think she is going to be here" asked Ino?
"Yes" said Lacus nodding her head.
"What's the plan to find her" asked Tenten?
"We let her come to us," said Kira.
"Since they can't attack me in public, they are going to try to lure us into a trap" said Lacus.
"Which we will turn around on them" said Yugito.
"Correct" said Kira smiling.
"How are we going to lure her out" asked Isaribi?
"By shopping" said Lacus.
"That's a great idea" exclaimed Ino.
They went to a local shopping mall and went to a clothing store. Lacus, Ino, and Toki started looking though the clothes and pulled Stella into joining them. The others stood off to the side discreetly keeping an eye out. Lacus and Ino were showing off some of the clothes they picked out when a red Haro bounced up to them with a note attached.
"They couldn't even get that right" said Lacus.
"They got it half right" said Cagalli.
"You mean like you used to pilot a pink mobile suit" said Lacus smiling.
"It wasn't pink" shouted Cagalli.
"It was rouge" she huffed.
"Which is a darker pink" said Lacus smiling.
"It's not" exclaimed Cagalli.
While Lacus' and Cagalli's 'argument' had everyone's attention, Kira knelt and created a Kage Bunshin who picked up the note and read it.
"They should have just filled it with explosives and claimed it was a terrorist attack" said Yugito.
"They wouldn't risk it since it could damage the city putting everyone, including them, at risk," said Kira.
The Kage Bunshin knelt and dispelled itself as Kira stood back up shaking his head.
"Could they have been more obvious," said Kira.
"How bad was it" asked Tenten?
"The only way to be more obvious is to say 'come here so we can kill you'" said Kira.
"We got their location" asked Lacus?
"Yes" said Kira nodding his head.
"They drew a crude map on the note," he said.
They all left the mall and headed to the location on the note which was an outdoor theater.
"They actually picked a good place for this" said Yugito.
"The imposter will be on one side and soldiers on the other" said Tenten.
"Once we walk out to her, we're dead," said Toki.
They snuck into the theater and saw the imposter sitting in the seats looking around nervously.
"Tenten, Yugito, let's go," said Kira.
"We will signal you when done" he said.
The others nodded their heads as Kira, Tenten, and Yugito disappeared in a burst of speed. They reappeared behind the soldiers on the other side of the theater and started taking them out. Once they were all taken out, Kira said "All clear."
Lacus led the others to where the imposter was sitting. They saw her get up only to step back in fear when she saw them.
"Hello there" said Lacus smiling.
"You don't have to worry about them coming after you anymore" she said.
"My friends took care of them" she said.
"Ms. Lacus" said Meer taking a few steps back.
Only to stop when Kira, Tenten, and Yugito landed behind her.
"You are not going anywhere," said Kira.
"Did you think you could get away with ruining my songs, my image, and my reputation" asked Lacus?
"But I am Lacus," shouted Meer.
"You are not me and you will never be me" said Lacus.
"All you are is an inferior imposter" she said.
"And you couldn't even get that right" she said.
Meer's hand shot to her bag only to fall to the ground dead with multiple kunai in her body.
"Nice reflexes" said Tenten.
Lacus lowered her arm as she started shaking.
"Why am I shaking" asked Lacus hugging herself?
"I have seen and caused so much of it" she said.
"It's different when you do it yourself" said Kira walking up to her.
He held her as she buried her head in his shoulder.
"Everyone goes through this the first time they do it" said Tenten.
Ino picked up Meer's bag and looked through it. She took out a gun, a photo, and a disk.
"What did you find" asked Yugito?
"A gun, a photo, and a disk" said Ino.
"I think this is what she looked like before" she said looking at the photo.
She turned the photo around allowing everyone to look at it as Lacus looked up at it. They saw a girl with black hair and eyes.
"She looks completely different," said Toki.
"I wonder why she went through with it" asked Lacus?
"That disk will probably provide us with the answers," said Kira.
"Let's head to a library and look at it" he said.
"I wouldn't trust that in our systems" he added.
"Ok" said Lacus leaving Kira's embrace.
Kira destroyed Meer's body with a Katon Jutsu before they all left.
They went to a nearby library and took out a computer and went to a private room. They put the disk into the computer and saw it was a diary.
"It's a diary," said Kira.
He quickly read though it before sitting back with a sigh.
"It looks like her voice matches yours" he said.
"That is why she was chosen" he said.
"She always wanted to be a singer and took this as her chance" he explained.
"Once she started, she didn't want to let it go" said Ino.
"She was a victim in this too" said Stella sadly.
"Once her usefulness was over, she was thrown away" growled Yakumo.
"I feel bad about what we did now" said Lacus sadly.
"It was for the best" said Ino.
"She was too far gone and would have done anything to keep up her delusions" she said.
"Including coming after you again" she said.
"I guess so" said Lacus sadly.
"There was no way you could have helped her" she asked?
"There was nothing of the old her left to build off of" said Ino.
"Anything that we did would be destroyed whenever she looked in a mirror" she said.
"Oh" said Lacus sadly.
Kira took out the disk and gave it to Yugito.
"Destroy it," said Kira.
Yugito sent lighting though the disk frying it before she crushed it and destroyed the remains.
"Let's head back" said Kira getting up.
Everyone nodded their head as they headed back to the Archangel.
Sometime later, the Chairman started giving a speech.
"This is it," said Kira.
"It looks like he is sitting on a throne," said Toki.
"He will probably claim his genes say he should be in charge" said Tenten.
The Chairman proclaimed his Destiny Plan as the final step needed to protect humanity.
"It is finally out" said Lacus.
"He is making it sound like we are all bloodthirsty savages" growled Yugito.
"He's wrong," shouted Stella.
"We all deserve to decide what we want to do" she said.
"Our bloodline shouldn't determine what we do" said Yakumo.
"Then let's go end it," said Kira.
"Contact our forces and tell them to prepare to move out" ordered Cagalli.
"Contact the Eternal and tell them it's time" said Lacus.
"It is time that Terminal revealed themselves" she said.
But before anyone could move, alarms started going off.
"What is it" asked Cagalli?
"Massive energy discharge detected from Daedalus" said the radar tech.
"They are using it" said Tenten.
"How could they" cried Lacus.
"What's the target" asked Cagalli?
"Arzachel" said the radar tech.
"The Alliance fleet is now gone" they said.
"We are the only ones left to challenge him" said Cagalli.
"Let's go show what a mistake that was," said Kira.
"Set course for Daedalus" he said.
"If we destroy the first mirror, that should buy us enough time to destroy it" he said.
"Right" said Murrue.
The Archangel launched from Copernicus City and joined up with the Orb fleet. They then joined up with the Eternal and its fleet of Alliance and ZAFT ships. Lacus transferred over to the Eternal and took command from there.
They arrived at Daedalus and saw the ZAFT fleet was guarding the first mirror colony.
"I wonder how the Chairman spun it to make them protect that" asked Toki?
"Open communications with the ZAFT fleet" ordered Lacus.
"Yes ma'am" said the commincation tech.
"It's open" they said.
"Why are you protecting this monstrosity" asked Lacus?
"After Junius Seven, we swore off of nuclear weapons because of the destruction they caused" she said.
"Now you are protecting something that destroyed multiple colonies" she shouted.
"What reason do you have to protect this thing" she asked?
The ZAFT fleet did not listen and did not answered as they continued to launch mobile suits and the Minerva came to join them.
"They are not listening or replying back," said Andrew.
Lacus released a sad sigh before her eyes harden.
"Then they have sealed their fate" said Lacus.
