Disclaimer: I do not own Digimon.

It has been awhile everyone. Nearly a whole month since the last chapter has posted. This chapter contains a lot of elements that will be explored later in the series and yet touches upon previous canon lore within my novels, and, I am happy to announce, nay, I am surprised to announce that this series which has spanned three novels is not going to end in four, but FIVE novels altogether with a possible 6th short story. I had to come to this conclusion after realizing just how vast and deep this back story ACTUALLY is. The events of the fourth will set up the Fifth novel quite nicely. All this time I had been agonizing whether to do it or not, or just to leave it at this chapter, but it would not do the story justice nor would I have been satisfied with presenting such a fill-in-the-blank kind of villain character. As you all probably know by now I don't pull ANY of that garbage. These characters do not exist for the sake of existing to advance a plot.

One final note. I have already written three chapters of it. I wanted to get a head start on it so such long gaps of time would not happen again, and I hope you are all still around. The next chapter after this one is going to let's just say be jaw dropping, so stay with me on this. This journey is still continuing!

So say it with me: 'Regardless the Digital Record Will be Completed!'

Chapter Thirty-Four: The Four Keys, The Four Primordial Darknesses

The four Primordial Digimon of Darkness leered down towards all of the Digidestined; all of them imposed by their massive appearance. True, they won when it came to numbers, but in regards to pure power they all must have appeared to them like dog food.

It showed, what with how banged up the digimon looked, some of the champion levels barely holding on.

"Hey Koushiro," he said, "With that information that Rei guy gave to you why does it seem like nothing we do is working?"

Koushiro's hands typed at lightning fast speeds, his eyes sifting through all of the data.

"Taichi," he swallowed, "You won't believe it, but these digimon are creations of Rei Kurenada mixed with left over garbage data of digimon that failed to become digimon," he said. "Their power is on the same level as the digimon sovereign!"

"A sovereign?!" Daisuke exclaimed. "You mean like Azulongmon?!"

"Then that makes this sound almost impossible!" Miyako lamented.

"And there is four of them!" Iori said anxiously. "How in the world could we even think about facing something like that?"

"I know," Taichi said. "Even after all that it's like we still can't see their forms. They look like just masses of black phantoms!"

"It's almost like they are taunting us," Akama said frustrated. "They look just as strong as Terrormon."

"Yeah," Ken agreed, "But with just not as big an ego. They seem to submit to whatever Kurenada tells them."

"We should be glad at least they have not destroyed us," Sora said. "After all it seems like they could easily wipe us out in an instant."

Yamato nodded his head, Taichi looking his way, both of them staring at each other as if they had thought the same thing.

"Homeostasis," he said, "How can we beat those things?"

"It's not possible," she simply replied clutching her hand over her heart. "Those digimon are the very strongest digimon in existence from the dark ocean. However, because they were trapped in the dark ocean they have not materialized over here. It's more like they are just phantasms breaking the laws of this world to appear here."

"Wow," Joe said, "I did not realize phantasms could cause such wanton destruction!" he shouted, the good doctor himself covered in bruises, only his glasses spared from any harm.

"He does have a point," Mimi said. "Is that why they have not wiped us out yet?"

"Yes," Homeostasis said irritably. She dropped her staff placing both hands over her heart, her eyes full of fear and desperation.

"Hey, what's wrong?" she asked. "Homeostasis!"

"It's nothing," she said, her eyes frantic, her mouth agape looking at them.

"What's wrong with you?" Yamato yelled. "Snap out of it!"

The reddish eyes of the monstrous digimon phantasms leered over at her more, Homeostasis almost at a loss, her arms feeling around her body as if remembering something truly unpleasant.

"Don't quit now!" Daisuke shouted. "We've got to be here when Takeru comes back with Hikari! Stay tough!"

"That's right," Miyako said nervously. "But Daisuke, I don't know how you can say that seeing Imperialdramon is getting thrashed."

"It's because we're tough," he said. "We'll get our chance!"

"I'm sure we will," Ken said, "But how much more will we, and especially they..." he said looking towards the mass of digidestined with only a champion level who were completely exhausted, "...be able to continue like this?"

"It's looking really bad," Sora said approaching Homeostasis and putting an arm around her shoulder. "It's ok," she said. "I don't know what you're going through, but it's going to be ok."

"No, it's not," she swallowed. "I remember it all. The pain of being mangled to death in the jaws of a monster," she said shaking. "Not just one time but over and over, every cut, every tear of sinew of flesh ripped open and then feasted on. For generations driving me insane!" she exclaimed panicking, rays of light released from her staff creating slight explosions of light, but not very strong.

"I feel that," Sora said, one arm over her heart. "It's no wonder you've tried everything you could to save the digital world. You wanted to make sure no one else would have to go through that, am I right?"

Homeostasis nodded her head and took a breath. "I lost my composure," she admitted closing her eyes. She opened them again with renewed determination. "But there is no cause for concern now. Takeru and Hikari will come back and Hallowedmon will destroy them all," she said. "And all the evil digital data will be washed away from this world and the digital world."

"I hope you're right," Meiko said. "But I wonder if it will really be all that simple."

Homeostasis nodded her head. "With Rei Kurenada, it never is."

"It may not be so simple," Yamato said, him looking at Taichi. "But I have hope. And I'm still fighting. I fight for my friends."

"And we still have the light," Taichi said. "I'm so furious right now at Rei Kurenada and all that he's done it burns so much it's going to burn all of this bad stuff away."

"That's good your so positive!" Sora smiled beaming towards each of them. "Now maybe you can look at each other without wanting to tear each other's heads off for once! After all your siblings get along so well together. Before you know it you'll be family!"

Taichi and Yamato stared at each other, both confounded at the realization.

"Tell me Yamato," Taichi said managing to force a smile. "How did this happen?"

Yamato seemed to smile back just as forcefully. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you. It just did."

"Well, then I say you better start acting like family," Mimi grinned. "You're both going to be uncles one day."

"Huh?" both of them said, their eyes twitching.

"Uncle Taichi. Uncle Yamato," Sora laughed, her arms around her sides. "I'm sorry, but this hurts so much I can't help myself!" she exclaimed cracking up.

The other digidestined also seemed to get a ride trying their best not to crack up.

"Well," Miyako said smiling, "They say you fight the most with your spouse and your family so I'm sure they will get along well together!"

"You all need to focus," Iori said. "How can you talk like that when those digimon have nearly crushed us?!"

"You have to learn to go with the flow Iori," Daisuke grinned. "You sound more like an old man than your old man!"

Iori started blushing, the thought appearing to irritate him.

"I am not!" he protested. "You keep up with this or when I graduate I will sue you for defamation of character!"

"Okay, okay," Ken said as if trying to calm him down. "But Iori you both are right. Just roll with the punches. I think we'll both live longer that way," he said slapping his back.

"Yeah," Iori admitted calming down.

"They sure are taking a long time to get here though," Meiko said. "It's like we're going to be talking like this and they're just going to suddenly show up out of nowhe-

-As if her words summoned them in a brilliance of light Hallowedmon, Takeru and Hikari appeared, both Takeru and Hikari crashing to the ground. Hikari landing on top of Takeru.

"Hikari!" Taichi said approaching them. "I was so worried about you! I-"

He studied their position, Taichi's protective big brother instinct kicking in. "Hey, just what's going on here!" he asked, infuriated.

"I should be asking that!" Yamato yelled. "Your sister's the one on top of him!"

As the two of them argued back and forth Takeru and Hikari smiled as if their smiles would deflect any animosity because of them. Hikari stretched out her hand helping Takeru up, Takeru smiling, the two of them laughing about something small, but it seemed to only make the flames of their brothers burn even more.

"You know, I have to say this," Akama said. "The two of you, no, all of you," he said. "You're all so animated! Why don't you interact like normal people!"

"You sound pretty animated yourself there," Meiko chuckled.

"Indeed," Homeostasis said observing them all. "You're all not taking this seriously enough. How did it go in there?" she asked. "Did you run into any problems?"

Takeru looked at Hikari who smiled pleasantly.

"Not all," he said. "Though, we kind of did collapse a castle."

"You what?" she said incredulously.

"Nothing," he said, him and Hikari smiling as if they were talking and no one knew what they were talking about.

"Well, we're just glad you're back!" Daisuke grinned. "I knew you could pull it off!"

"Thanks for believing in Takeru Daisuke," Hikari beamed.

Daisuke placed his hand over his heart, tears coming out of his eyes. He lifted up his head and wiped them away as if he had just experienced a taste of heaven.

"Anything for your smile Hikari," he bawled happily.

"Oh brother," Taichi smirked, Taichi noticing Koushiro acting strangely typing into his computer.

"Something happen?" he asked.

Koushiro's face looked horrified. "Look at them!" he shouted. Everyone turned towards the phantasm like digimon, the phantasm manifesting into reality, all of the digidestined looking upon four horrific monsters.

"What just happened?" Miyako asked.

"They just came here," Koushiro announced. "Somehow they were able to manifest! I don't know how!"

"So what does this mean?" Yamato asked. "Are they just going to wipe us out?"

They all stared at the digimon apprehensive, realizing the magnitude of their enemy's attack.

"Well you all seem to be in a good mood," a familiar voice called out to them.

"Where's that coming from?" Daisuke shouted.

"It's the dark ocean gate!" Ken exclaimed.

"Yeah, and I recognize that voice," Takeru said.

"Rei Kurenada," Hikari said finishing his thought, the sinister Rei Kurenada manifesting from the dark ocean gate, the four monstrous digimon around him bowing to him.

"No need for such pleasantries," he grinned, both hands casually in his pocket as if they, the digidestined, were not a threat to him.

"You say that," Takeru said, "But we messed up your plans. You're not going to use Hikari for anything. And you didn't kill me. In fact we were the ones that destroyed your personal butler," he said smiling cheerfully as if playing his game. "I'm sure that made you furious!"

"Let's not edge on the sociopath shall we?" Joe said trying to be discreet. "It's not like he could annihilate the freakin' planet or anything!" he added losing his cool.

Rei Kurenada only seemed to chuckle, his smirk ever so confident. "Is that what you think Takeru Takashi?" he chuckled. "You more than anyone here are blind almost to a fault. But then again, you do as I expect you to, and you don't even realize it," he said.

"What are you saying?" Hikari inquired. "You mean you want us to win?"

"Oh yes," he said. "After all, you see the result don't you?"

He lifted up his hands, the four terrible digimon glaring at them eager for carnage.

"Us?" Takeru said looking at Hikari who looked at him also confused.

"That's right," he said. "Because you destroyed my butler and personal servant Cthulumon, whom I might add I created from the digital barrier that imprisoned my power, all the barriers have been destroyed that sealed my power. I now have free reign of everything."

"What are you talking about?" Yamato asked. "My brother would never help you!"

"Hikari either!" Taichi shouted.

He held up his hands and clapped them as if praying for them because they would not be there much longer.

"All it took was for me to threaten Hikari with my tentacled servant having his way with her and that was enough. Oh, and of course some little lie about using her to draw darkness. They fell for it quite easily. I even guided him to where I was within my castle inside," he said. "They just made it all too simple. I now have everything I could possibly want to flood both worlds," he said, a surge of what sounded like water hitting the gate behind him.

"What was that?!" Mimi shouted.

"Oh nothing," he said. "Just the sound of the waters of the dark ocean threatening to burst through and flood both worlds."

"That sounds horrible!" Iori said. "We can't let you do that!"

Rei Kurenada sighed running his hands through his hair. "You all just have a terrible instinct of saying that. 'Let me?' he said quite nonplussed. 'You act as if you had any choice to begin with. What do I have to do so all of you puppets can develop minds of your own? It's no fun that way," he said. "Do I have to take away your dog dish so you'll force yourselves to live? I spoiled you rotten feeding you so often."

"I think he's insulting us," Daisuke said. "And I'm not having it."

"We'll just have to take him down somehow," Ken said.

"It's pointless," Homeostasis said dropping her staff. She walked over to him, a solemn look plaguing her face. She then hesitantly dropped to both of her knees.

"Hey!" Taichi exclaimed.

"What is this?" Rei Kurenada said approaching her stepping on the waters until he was next to her.

"This is a plea," she said. "Please, spare both worlds."

"Are you groveling?!" Yamato said amazed.

"Please," she said bowing her head to the ground.

"And why should I?" he asked.

"To show your mercy," she said. "If you have any part of your humanity left spare the worlds. We mean you no harm. We only want to survive and be in harmony and peace."

"Hmmm," he said walking around her as if in thought.

"To see the one who desires balance grovelling in front of me. How pathetic you look," he said. "I used to have respect for you, but for you to try to appease me like this, it leaves me with a taste of disgust," he said standing behind her.

He then set his boot forward on the back of her head into the water. "I decline," he said. "Every single one of you will get what you deserve. Your judgment will wash you all away into darkness," he said laughing. "And you all made it way too easy! Especially the hope and light you put your trust in! They couldn't be more dimwitted!"

Homeostasis lifted up her head, her face covered in a black tar like substance and scrapes from the exposure. "I don't understand," she said. "Their were so many safeguards against you," she admitted as if completely powerless. "How did you ever get through all of them? It should not have been possible."

"Not have been possible?" he said incredulously. "Possibility is just another law of this world. It's a chance. And I erased that relation to law. Possible is what you make of it," he said. "And what was once impossible in your world, because of my interference has become possible. My chains which binded me are now my whips striking all of you," he mused.

"Just what do you mean by that?" Akama asked. "If Homeostasis bound you like that how can you move so freely?"

"Well," he said standing in front of the gates putting a hand on one of the dark digimon, "I will admit she did make it difficult. If even one of these barriers would have remained they would have accumulated the power of all four, so I had an exceedingly frustrating time annihilating all of those hindrances preventing my power returning."

"And just how did you do that?" Koushiro asked.

"I suppose I have time before your destruction," he said observing their wanton helpless. "You've all been so obedient. I will be glad to tell you why I have returned and have my servants destroy your worlds to make room for mine."

They all looked at him expectantly.

"So, I had four keys I had to acquire," he said holding up four fingers. "Ever since I had been cursed these keys had plagued me from ever being free from the digital world and being free from this curse. The first issue was a key outside the dark ocean. Though my influence was strong enough I could not send in dark digimon directly here. So although my original plan for my servant Dogmamon was changed by Meicoomon and Meiko here to destroy my familial servant Hisashi they were still eventually able to put the digital code in the system so that information from the dark world could flow freely," he said. "She had proven effective at delaying my servants' plans, so I used her to accomplish this. Once I had succeeded the dark ocean coded digital data could flow at the current levels," he said.

Meiko shook her head, her eyes looking down at the digital incisors like they had betrayed her. "Yes, it's true," she said taking off her glasses. "Rei Kurenada had manipulated both me and my father to do this."

"After I had the first key to access any where digitally in the world I had to obtain the second. That one took quite some time and many methods. I had to use my servant Hisashi and the cult of Apotheoseia to brain wash idiots into becoming dark ocean coded beings to preserve my life as well as intervene myself directly with other people. For if I left the dark ocean, my data immediately started to disintegrate which would have been problematic for me," he said. "But thanks to that and the app Hisashi implemented I now have endless lives to fuel my restoration of data. No matter how much I disintegrate I am immediately restored. Hence, I am immortal."

Koushiro seemed riveted to the conversation. "Like a vampire to sunlight," he said. "You had to constantly feed in order so you wouldn't evaporate in this world."

"Precisely," he admitted. "The third and fourth keys worked hand in hand, but had to be completed in several longer periods of time. However I started working on both the keys at one time, so eventually they would all fall within my grasp," he said. "So to summarize the first key helped me with accessing information, the second key helped me with handling my curse, but the third and fourth keys were different," he said still one hand in his pocket, his trench coat blown by the wind slightly.

"Those keys required more creative efforts. I was aware of Homeostasis gathering the digidestined together for some purpose, though I did not suspect it was about myself, but rather my servants. So I inquired about them. The dark digimon were defeated, their information when deleted flowing back to the dark ocean from whence they came whispering what they knew. I knew what level you were, how strong your crests were, and who was the greatest threat. Imagine learning from a dark digimon the tiniest child carrying the crest of hope had so much potential..."

"I don't like the way this monologue is going," Takeru said hesitantly.

"Bear with it Takeru," Yamato said. "Stay strong."

"...Continuing on, I only thought I had to deal with seven children, but, when I learned after my studies about an eighth digidestined with the crest of light I started to put the pieces together. It seemed those children had the most success annihilating my servants or empowering the others," he explained. "So, I decided after Myotismon's defeat if I could not destroy them I would use them, just as I could see Homeostasis was using you. I'm really no different then she is," he laughed. It's funny isn't it? You call something light and it's dark. And you call something dark and it's still dark. It's all just powerful beings using other beings until they are no longer useful," he declared. But, that's the least of your worries."

"They are quite impressive though aren't they?" Homeostasis asked.

"For puppets, they play their roles well," he smiled. "When the dark information from Apocalymon told me about how they returned back from digital purgatory I knew that if I could take advantage of Homeostasis's meddling I could have them unlock the other keys remaining. To my unfortunate circumstances though because of the digivices having sealed away his data it took me years before I had realized Apocalymon had been defeated. But at least prior to all of this even began I had already started working on the third key. For the third key I somehow took a piece of myself and gave a digimon the power to mold the dark ocean itself," he said. "So with Fiermon, Freitmon, and eventually Terrormon I made all of you stronger and made you think you were winning a war I would not allow you to win, but I would make you think you had won the battle giving you a sense of overconfidence. And it worked like a charm. Terrormon kept you distracted enough, but I ran into a slight obstacle with him to."

"And that was?" Sora inquired.

"Well, since he was my will and technically 'me' in digimon form of sorts he was too powerful. There was no digimon that stood a chance against him. In order to get him to release the dark ocean digital code that would free me he had to fight nearly a deity. And only the digidestined of light and hope had any chance of making this happen. So, during a lull time I decided to conduct a little experiment. I had my most trusted servant chtulusmon, whom of course you destroyed," he said deferring to Takeru and Hikari, "try to see if he could get the crest of light to work somehow in our favor with certain shall I just say methods?" he inferred thinking to himself. "I also told his underlings to rebel as an alibi as if it wasn't his idea and you fell for it to. And-"

"-Why don't you just say it for what it really is," Mimi said angrily. "You say methods, but you mean rape."

Hikari covered her eyes as if ashamed of that time, Takeru comforting her.

"Well, I won't deny it," he said. "I was trying to trigger their digimon into somehow war digivolving into a mega form or even beyond that," he said, no matter what emotions it had to take to invoke such power. So I resorted to whatever method deemed this possible. But sometimes even your own minions get in the way of your goals," he said. "Myotismon knew what I wanted, but he decided to rebel thus making it harder for you to grow or digivolve to the next level. Armor digivolving was just a detour, but DNA digivolving, now that was something I considered. And it got me thinking if somehow hope and light could dna digivolve, a new being would appear of amazing calibur and power," he said. "Alas, in those years you were only friends being preteens, but I wondered if you were older and dna digivolved the first time if your partners would have been each other?"

"I can't believe it," Taichi whispered to Yamato. "Even Rei Kurenada shipped them for his twisted purposes. This is crazy."

"I monitored their development through Meicoomon in their teenage years," he said. "And, just as I thought their was a natural affinity for each other. And it grew without me ever having to do anything but wait," he said. "So I waited. And waited until you recently got into college. Then I decided one of two things would happen. Either one, I would destroy all of you or those two, or, I would wait until I saw a DNA digivolution of the two of you. What's all very entertaining about this is I hardly had to lift a finger. Fiermon set all of these events in motion and you all played your part as expected. Whether it was Homeostasis, or Hikari, or Takeru, it mattered not to me, as long as that digimon had the power to destroy Terrormon. Once he summoned Baphemosmon I knew only a very powerful holy digimon could take him down and they would do whatever it took to do it. This is why you saw me return. Baphemosmon was the key to do that, being made of the most critical infrastructure of the dark ocean. And by his death I have come. With Terrormon's demise at my hands, my will and resolve has only been clarified."

"But then what about the fourth key?" Miyako asked.

"I was just getting to that," he said making his hand reach in her direction and grasp it as if he would squeeze the life out of her. "Once the third key was in possession though I was back, my power was not. It seems Homeostasis when I was cursed found out about the dark ocean and sealed my power hoping to prevent my return."

"That's correct," Homeostasis confessed. "If your power returned the digidestined would not stand a chance."

"It's not like they do now," he chuckled. "But as for the fourth key I needed to unlock my power. And my powers were the waters sealed in the dark ocean. Somehow I had to get Hallowedmon there and defeat my servant, whom I had encrypted and created from that seal a long time ago. I built a castle on it and waited for the time hope or light would enter in and defeat him. Once that was accomplished what happened Takeru?" he asked mockingly.

Takeru swallowed. "The waters beneath the castle destroyed it," he said.

"Correct. And when they did my remaining power flooded out, the flood waters within the dark ocean. And now," he said, "See the Primordial Dark Digimon in actual form. We will now absorb this world into the world of the dark ocean," he declared. "No one has any purpose here anymore so I will dispose of you without further delay."

"No!" Taichi yelled. "We won't let you!"

"Again," Kurenada said annoyed. "That word. You are all fools," he said snapping his fingers, the four primordial dark ones roaring, ready to lunge at them. "Foolish to the very end. As soon as I give the signal, the flood waters from the depths of the dark ocean will be so great, it will completely flood this world and the digital world. Their will be no resistance and no one to stop me!" he shouted. "How long I've waited to taste this victory," he said glaring at them all his hands spread apart as if inviting anyone to oppose him.

"Isn't there any way we can beat him?!" Daisuke shouted. "Come on guys think! We've got to be able to do something!"

The others looked at Daisuke, but stared down at the ground as if their resolve had completely been shot. They knew no matter what they tried, Kurenada was impossible to kill.

"Crests, DNA digivolving, heck even if we combined all of our power he would just come back instantly," Yamato said sullenly.

"It would take a miracle," Homeostasis agreed.

Kurenada smiled pleasantly. "Digivolution can only take you so far," he declared. "In the end, only a miracle from a god can save you," he said. "So if you're there," he laughed, "Then show your divine mercy and spare them if you can!" he said enjoying himself. "Yes, come on down and show your divine hand of judgment!"

The digidestined looked at him apprehensively bracing themselves.

"Shall we start the countdown?" he teased. "Then let us begin! Ten!"

"We're digidestined aren't we?" Joe said. "I've come too far to not get my doctorate!"

"Nine!" Kurenada continued.

"I've come up with two more popular fashion lines and I am not going to let anyone stop me from getting them out online! You won't cancel 'Sparkling Dazzling Mimi Culture!'" Mimi yelled. "It's a fashion movement!"

"Eight!"

"I'll keep looking for answers right up to the end!" Koushiro shouted. "But right now I can't think of any options!"

"Seven!"

Sora grabbed Yamato's and Taichi's hands. "I'm going to love my family and friends to the very end!" she shouted.

"Six!"

"I've already gone to the moon and back with all you've put me through," Yamato said clutching onto Sora's hand. "So if the ocean wants to join then I let say let it! It won't tear our relationships apart!"

"Five!"

"It's not the end!" Taichi exclaimed. "I won't give up even it takes me away!"

"Four!"

"Even if it's certain death about to kill us I will stand my ground," Iori said grabbing his kendo stick and facing the enemy. "I will keep my moral integrity and character intact!"

"That's very noble Iori," Akama agreed. "You would do well with the crest of courteousness. But you are strong as you are, even as strong as I am," he said also drawing his blade.

"Three!"

"If it's going to be the end then it's no time to cry," Miyako said wiping her eyes. "I might be scared, but there's no use crying about it now!"

"I agree with you Miyako," Meiko said. "It's your actions that matter in the end. Not your feelings."

"Two!"

"Well," Daisuke said chuckling, "If we're going to die like this then we might as well go all out!" he shouted. "You with me Ken?"

"To the end my friend," he said. "We're all in this together!"

Rei Kurenada grinned even wider showing his teeth, but looking more like fangs with how demonic he looked, his eyes glowing spookily.

"One!" he shouted at the top of his lungs, the whole earth around them vibrating.

"This can't be the end," Takeru said upset in his spirit. "We've come so far! So close!"

"But there's no way we can just end up dying like this!" Hikari lamented. "Every life, every soul of every man, woman, child, and digimon. You can't just extinguish them all like that!"

"We're the digidestined!" Taichi shouted encouraged by them all equally frustrated. "No matter what happens, nothing will have ever changed that! If we perished then we died doing our very best! We didn't lay down and take it!" he yelled. "I'm proud of all of us! And I know that my life has changed because of all of you, and our digimon!" he shouted, all of the other digidestined roused by his spirit.

"Such brave souls," Homeostasis said with a hushed voice. "Truly they are-"

-Out of the corner of her eye Jesmon ventured forward towards Hallowedmon glowing fiercesomely. As he approached him Alphamon teleported over in front of him and Omegamon stood in front of him.

"What are they doing?" she said allowed, all of the other digidestined also staring, everyone firm in their resolve.

"And now farewell digidestined and all those who defied me!" Rei Kurenada said. He snapped his fingers. "Be gone!" he shouted, about ready to release the gates and the wrath of the evil primordial dark ones, but in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye Hallowedmon lit up in a blistering light, three other mega digimon entering into him, a razor sharp light cutting asunder from the heavens magnified onto Hallowedmon.

All of the mega digimon were then thrown away back to their rookie forms. Patamon, Salamon, Agumon, Hackmon, another digimon they could not see who teleported away before they could identify him, and of course Agumon and Gabumon.

Everyone marveled at this light, even to an extent Rei Kurenada as if he had never seen anything like it. Homeostasis stood up and ran over to the light and falling prostrate in front of it.

"That light is so beautiful," Hikari marveled.

"It fills me with such optimism for tomorrow," Takeru added.

From the bright shining heavens some heavenly form came down the light spreading out, a being of absolute magnificence appearing. A sash was scrawled on it's torso, it's face humanoid in appearance, or perhaps it was human? No one could tell.

"Who is that?" Taichi asked, his breath taken away from him.

"No idea," Yamato replied.

"I'm at a loss to," Sora admitted.

"Is that even a digimon?" Joe wondered squinting at it.

"It's not showing up in any database," Koushiro noticed searching through his records.

"It's prettier than any of my styles," Mimi said amazed. "Wow, how cool!"

"That is true nobility," Akama said taking a knee. "I know my position and I give due reverence."

"That sounds like the polite thing to do so I will to," Iori said copying him.

"I wonder if I can have skin like that Miyako exclaimed. "It's so glistening."

"You would do well not to ask the being questions unless you want to be reduced to ashes," Meiko warned.
