He was right. English did drag. He couldn't focus. Wes was sitting so close to him. The smell nauseated his nose but in a good way. He tried to concentrate on the board in front of him, Mr Johnson's words but he couldn't. He glanced at Wes in the corner of his eye and he seen the tight grip he had on his pencil. He was crumbling too. The hour was excruciating. He heard his phone buzz and when Mr Johnson had his back to them he pulled it out and opened the text.

He refrained a laugh and typed back.

He heard Thad behind him laugh quietly and he put his phone away. Mr Johnson was talking about the importance of the English language, waving his hands round while he talked and then the bell rang. Thank fuck

"Please take your assignments from my desk and have a lovely day." Mr Johnson said cheerfully and the students said thank you and started to pack their things away and leave. He was glad he had Mr Johnson first, he already made the day more bearable. Between each classes they had ten minutes. It was a courtesy for the students because of how big the school was. Kurt stood up shakily.

"Kurt. I seen on your schedule you have Mrs Douglas. I was wondering as her classroom is only a few away that we could have a quick chat?" Mr Johnson said looking at him.

"Of course." Kurt said smiling and glanced at Wes as he was leaving.

Wes left the classroom quickly. He wished he could of stayed with Kurt. They all had Mrs Douglas. It was the only class they all shared together and they hated it. She was a hard woman and incredibly strict. She was like a robot. David, Jeff, Nick and Blaine was standing other the other side of the corridor waiting for them. They laughed when they seen his disheveled look.

"How was it?" Jeff said smirking. Wes rolled his eyes.

"Difficult. I forgot that Kurt sits next to me." Wes said laughing and walked over to them.

"He's talking to Mr Johnson."

They nodded and decided to wait for him. They knew how much Kurt hated this next class. She irritated him to the core and he knew it would be ten times worse now.

"I just wanted to see how you was doing Kurt. I know it's your first day at classes." Mr Johnson said gesturing Kurt to sit down. Kurt sat down and smiled.

"Thank you. I'm doing okay. I'm extremely grateful my first class was with you."

Mr Johnson laughed and nodded. "I'm thankful your first class was with me."

He gave a knowing look and Kurt laughed. "I'm doing okay."

"You can come talk to me anytime you need Kurt. My door is always open to you." Mr Johnson said looking at the young man.

"Thank you. I really appreciate it." Kurt said truthfully.

"I'm incredibly sorry for your loss. Your father was a great man. I'm truly upset by his passing. How are you coping?"

Kurt looked up and smiled. He felt his sincerity. "I'm better. Being here at Dalton is what I needed."

"Grief is like the ocean Kurt. It comes in waves and sometimes the water is calm, sometimes the water is overwhelming but all you can do is swim through it."

Kurt beamed. "Thank you Mr Johnson."

Kurt left the room and Mr Johnson walked him out.

"Don't let it drown you."

Kurt nodded and smiled. He walked over to his friends and they smiled.

"I fucking love Mr Johnson." Jeff said grinning.

"You and me both." Kurt said kissing him on the cheek.

"You okay?" Blaine said grabbing his hand.

"Yeah. I'm more than okay." Kurt said smiling.

"You ready for Mrs Douglas Kurt?" Wes said smirking. Kurt groaned and glared at Wes and they all laughed.

Mrs Douglas was aggravating him. All she did was demand and her voice was like nails running down a chalkboard. They was only half way through her class and they could all see Kurt struggling. He zoned her out or he felt like he was going to blow.

"Mr Hummel, is your hands more important than paying attention to my lesson?"

Don't you fucking start. He looked up and smiled. "I'm sorry Mrs Douglas. It won't happen again."

"There's no excuses now Kurt. A year was more than enough to grieve for your father."

The whole room was in shock. They couldn't believe the words had come from her mouth. She was disgusting. Kurt stood up and started to collect his things in silence.

"Mr Hummel, what do you think you're doing? Sit back down."

Kurt carried on. Ignoring her and then he looked up at her. "I'm leaving your class Mrs Douglas, what do I look like I'm doing?"

Mrs Douglas walked over to him and leaned on his desk. "I said sit down Mr Hummel."

Kurt laughed and looked up and her. "If you started to respect your students a little more Mrs Douglas, you would have their full attention. I'm leaving because I don't want to say something I shouldn't. Don't worry, I'll take myself to Principle Alexander's office. You don't have to tell me that either."

Kurt went to walk out but she stood in front of him.

"I said sit down."

"No I will not sit down. Unless you're going to forcefully sit me down then I'm walking out that god damn fucking door."

Kurt smiled at her shocked look. "Sorry for the inconvenience."

Kurt left the room and made his way to the office. "Fucking bitch."

They was all seething. His fucking dare she?

Blaine stood up. "I'm going too Mrs Douglas. I don't want to sit in this classroom anymore and watch you upset my boyfriend."

"Mr Anders-

"I'm sorry Mrs Douglas and I don't mean to be rude but that was incredibly insensitive."

Blaine left after excusing himself. He couldn't go and see Kurt as he knew he was already in Mr Alexander's office but he waited outside because he would need to see him too. He turned his head and seen that his friends had also left and he smiled. Thad, flint, Cameron and Ethan was also with them. The whole class had left.

He loved these people.

They all sat down outside the office and waited for Kurt to be finished but the door opened and Mr Alexander came out. He didn't want to smile but he had too.

"You're all excused from that class pending investigation. I'm extremely sorry for the distress Mrs Douglas has caused. You're all excused from your other classes before lunch." The students nodded and stood up and left.

"Tell Hummel we was asking about him." Flint said and Blaine nodded.

"Thanks man."

They started to walk away but Blaine stood up and shouted Thad. Thad turned around and walked back.

"Thank you for this morning and for now. I'm glad he's got you."

Thad looked down looked back up and smiled. "Tell him I'm asking about him?"

"Sure man."

Thad turned around and made his way back to his friends and Blaine walked back to his.

"You can all come in now." Mr Alexander said and they stood up and walked into his office.

Kurt was sitting in the chair. His leg was bouncing up and down and his hands was gripping the side of the table. His face was twisted in rage and he looked like he was ready to make his way back and snap her neck. He turned around when they entered.

"Sorry." Kurt said sweetly trying to mask his anger but he couldn't and he ended up spitting the words out instead.

Blaine walked over and wrapped his arms round him from behind and kissed him on the cheek. "Take deep breaths, focus okay? I'm proud of you."

Kurt nodded and Blaine moved away to sit next to his friends. They all watched Kurt and waited for the anger to subside but it didn't.

"I'm really sorry Kurt. For what she said. It was more than out of line it was rancid." Mr Alexander said as he moved back to sit in front of Kurt. "Whatever you need to say just get it off your chest."

"She's a fucking cunt."

Jeff choked out and laughter and threw his hand to his mouth. Blaine had his mouth wide open, Wes had his head tilted in fascination, David had his hand over his face trying to contain the laugher and Nick was beaming. Mr Alexander bit his lip and sat back down. They had never heard Kurt use language like that. He never ever used offensive language towards another person apart from the odd fucking, shit and asshole. Shocked wasn't in it, they was mortified.

"Do you feel better now?" Mr Alexander said with a smirk.

"Nope." Kurt said as his leg continued to bounce up and down.

"By all means, carry on." Mr Alexander sat back in the chair and clasped his hands together and waiting patiently for the uproar. He knew Kurt needed this.

"Who the fuck does she think she is? Oh my god I was this close." Kurt lifted his hands up and placed his fingers together so they was barely touching. "To grabbing her by that awful dye job of hers and slamming her face repeatedly through the window."

"And how does that made you feel?"

"Regretful."

There was laughs around the room. He was pissed.

"So, I think this is a great time for you to go and calm down with your friends. I will be having words with Mrs Douglas. Oh and Kurt?" Kurt looked up. "I'm proud of you for not slamming her face repeatedly through the window. They are double glazed and cost a fortune."

Kurt threw is head back in laughter and turned to his friends who was laughing too. "Okay."

Kurt was still still angry. His eyes was closed and he was leaning against his boyfriends side for comfort.

"I can't believe you called her a cunt." David said laughing. "I'm like a proud parent!"

"You kidding me David? It's the best thing that's ever slipped from them gorgeous lips of his!" Nick said high fiving eachother and sitting down by Kurt.

Kurt pulled back a little and laughed. "I couldn't fucking help it."

Blaine kissed him on the head and wrapped his arms round him.

"You didn't have to leave her class though but thank you." Kurt said looking at his friends.

"We wasn't going to sit there baby after what she said. It was disgusting." Blaine said kissing him again. They all nodded in agreement.

"I can't believe she's even allowed to teach." Jeff said climbing on his boyfriends lap. "Fucking bitch."

"Hopefully after the amount of reports that has been put in today, she won't be working here that much longer." Wes said in a hopeful tone. Seeing Kurt that way was upsetting. She tortured him with one sentence. He was proud though for him not reacting the way he wanted too.

"Me too." Kurt said curled up into his boyfriend.

It was lunch time at Dalton. They had all calmed down and had made their to the cafeteria and before Kurt sat down he looked up and see Thad.

"I won't be a minute." Kurt said and they nodded. He walked over to them.

"Hey." Kurt said softly at the four of them. Cameron had pulled a chair out and he thanked him and sat down.

"Thank you all for today. It meant a lot. The others told me you left too and was asking about me. I just wanted to say I won't forgot it." Kurt said smiling at them all.

"It's no problem Kay. Mrs Douglas is vile. I'm surprised you stayed for as long as you did." Thad said as he leaned over and squeezed his hand before pulling back. Thad could see his friend was doing considerably better now.

"No worries Hummel. She needs locking up and the keys thrown away. She's a bitch." Flint said smiling at him. He always liked Kurt. He was a decent guy. Never judged anyone before getting to know them. Plus, he was easy on the eyes.

"She must of made a deal with the devil to be able to get her teaching license." Cameron said laughing and they joined in.

"Fucking tell me about it. Remember that time she screamed in Jason's face because he had forget his pen?" Ethan questioned

They all groaned in the memory and laughed.

"Poor fucking Jason." Kurt said and they agreed.

"Hey, you wanna just eat with us Kurt?" Ethan said. He looked over to his friends and seen Blaine was smiling at him.

"Sure, I would love too."

Kurt had enjoyed lunch. He loved time with his family but it was really nice to have different company. It was refreshing. He slotted in perfect with them and it was like he has always been friends.

"I didn't realise how fucking funny you are Hummel, if I knew that I would of came to you after I split up with that bitch from Crawford." Flint said laughing

"That bad?" Kurt laughed and leaned in.

"Oh man it was awful." Ethan groaned in memory and flint threw an apple at him.

"Jesus man!" Ethan said holding his stomach.

"Trust me Kay. The moaning and moping around out of him was enough to hang myself." Thad said with a roll of his eyes. Kurt laughed and accepted the drink Cameron had gave him.

They talked until the bell rang and they stood up.

"Man, you're more than welcome to join us tonight." Ethan said hugging Kurt.

"Yes dude you should totally come! Having a few drinks." Kurt rolled his eyes. "Catch up. We do it every Friday!" Cameron said dragging Ethan off and hugging him. Kurt laughed at disappointment in Ethans face. Cameron let go and flint stepped forward and scooped him up.

"Please fucking come. You actually made my day." Flint said before pulling back and poking him in his chest.

"I'll think about it." Kurt said smiling.

"This is not up for discussion. You're coming." Flint said blowing him a kiss and walking away.

Thad stepped forward and pulled Kurt into a hug and Kurt wrapped his arms round his neck.

"You don't have to come but I would really like you too. I don't want to pressure you, I know you're finding your restraint." Thad said looking at him.

"Thanks Thad. I've really enjoyed spending time with you all."

"You kidding? They adore you. I think I'm getting replaced." Thad said with a laugh before hugging him again.

"You're hard to be replaced Thad. You're an absolute diamond."

Thad beamed and kissed him on the cheek and blushed before hugging him one last time and running off with a wave. Kurt laughed and looked over to his friends who was waiting patiently for him. He walked over and wrapped his arms round his boyfriend.

"You should go." Wes said smiling. He didn't go close to him. He kept his distance.

"You think so?

"I think it'll be really good for you Hummel." Wes said nodding. He wanted Kurt to be able to socialise with others. He didn't want him to be confined to them. He didn't feel worried or jealous anymore.

The rest of the day went by. Classes after classes. The amount of assignments Kurt had was knocking him sick. He was smart but he forgot how bad to work load was. He started to become stressed looking through is laptop. He groaned in annoyance and placed his head in his palms. The guys was going out tonight for a hunt. It had been a while since they had. They knew Kurt wasn't ready to go out yet so they knew not to ask. They knew he would be okay with Thad.

"Kurt sounds like he's ready to throw his face threw the window, never mind Mrs Douglas's."

"Yeah dude. The catchup is going to be a ballache for him." David said back to Nick as he ripped his fangs into the blood bag and moaned

"We need to make sure he doesn't go the way he did last time." Jeff said laughing and they groaned. Coffee

"Don't think I can handle him in that state. Him being a human was hard enough." Wes said agreeing with them laughing at the way his friend was feeding shamefully.

"You're telling me. I was petrified of him. He was an animal." Blaine said groaning

Wes was itching to go and see him. He hadn't kissed him since that morning and he was feeling like he was going into withdrawal. He didn't want to be overbearing. Kurt was stressed and he knew he needed time to adjust. Blaine could sense it from him but he knew Wes was a gentleman and he wanted to give him some space.

Kurt had started one of his assignments. It was from Mr Johnson. It was pretty easy which he was thankful for. He knew he was trying to slowly get him eased back into school life. It had taken maybe forty minutes and he had finished it and send it off straight away. He went to start the next one and there was a knock on his door. He stood and walked over and opened it. Thad smiled and moved him out the way and walked into his room.

"Please Thad! come in!" Kurt said sarcastically and Thad just laughed.

"So, are you coming?"

"I don't know I'm just-

"Assignments?"

Kurt groaned and laughed. "Yep."

"We are meeting up in a minute in Flint's room so if you wanna come just let me know okay? Don't kill yourself Kurt."

Kurt laughed and rolled his eyes.

"Thanks Tea for everything."

"No problem kay. Oh! This coffee is for you!" Thad winked and passed him it and ran out the room.

Kurt was missing Wes. A lot. He had had no contact all day apart from formal conversations and it was killing him. He was so grateful Blaine though. He couldn't imagine if he couldn't have them both today. He ran into the common and shut the door and rushed over to Wes who was speaking to David and tackled him forcefully to the floor. Wes let out a yelp in surprise and the whole room starting laughing. He started to kiss his face and Wes screamed out a laughter and relaxed his arms out. He then pulled back and leaned in and kissed him on the lips and Wes stopped laughing and wrapped his arms round his neck and kissed him back. After a minute Kurt pulled back.

"I fucking missed you!" Kurt shouted with a laugh before kissing him again.

"Oh no." David said looking to up to Nick.

"Please no." Nick said groaning

"Maybe he just misses Wes?" Blaine stood up. He hoped his boyfriend just missed his partner.

"I don't think he just misses him." Jeff said laughing

"It's been like so long I nearly forgot what that gorgeous little face of yours looked like!" Kurt said excitedly before climbing off quickly and pulling him up. Wes beamed and cupped his face and kissed him, Kurt deepened it and Wes pulled back with a groan.

"I taste coffee." Wes said rolling his eyes

Everyone laughed and Kurt nodded frantically.

"Yes! I had coffee. Only one teenie tiny one!" Kurt said breathlessly and leaned in to kiss him again and pulling back and running over to Blaine and jumping on him and wrapping his legs round his torso and Blaine put his hands on his ass to support him. Kurt kissed him too and deepened it and his tongue entered his mouth and Blaine groaned and pulled back too.

"I taste coffee too."

Kurt laughed and jumped off. "Blame Thad!"

Kurt went round and hugged them all just as excitedly making them all laugh at the eagerness. He was so loving.

Kurt was currently had Jeff on his back and spinning him round.

"Oh my god!" Jeff was screaming as Kurt went faster. Kurt got dizzy and missed his footing and went flying taking Jeff with him. They all stood up to rush over but they stopped when they heard the manic laughing from them both. Kurt jumped on top and Jeff, he was out of breath and he leaned down and kissed Jeff on the nose. Jeff giggled and kissed him back.

"Fucking adorable!" Nick said into Blaine's ear and he nodded. They loved seeing them both together. It made them happy.

"So Kurtie, we are going on a hunt tonight." Jeff said with his hands up and Kurt joined his with jeff's.

"We was going to ask you to come but it might be to much for you."

Kurt nodded. "Oh yeah I'm not into that no thank you."

Jeff laughed and carried on. "So we all think it'll be good for you to spend some time with your other friends."

"I just have so much to-

"Kurt! Come on! You have eternity to study! Live a little!" Jeff said smiling. "Thad will be there to help you."

Kurt bit his lip and nodded. "Okay."

Kurt looked down at his friend and was staring at him. He really didn't know what he would without him. He loved Jeff more than anything. He would die for him. He started to feel emotional and a grin spread across him face.

"Kurt?" Jeff had stopped laughing and looked back at him. "Is there something on my face?" Jeff lifted his hand on and ran it down his face and looked at it. "Fuck I'm not dribbling am I?"

Kurt stopped grinning, they was both staring into each other's eyes and it was to much. It was intense. Kurt leaned down and placed his hand on the side of his neck gently, wrapping his fingers round the back and his thumb was placed on the side.

"Kurt?" Jeff breathed out.

Kurt closed the gap and kissed him on the lips. Jeff inhaled deeply. They had never kissed like this. It wasn't sexual, it was intimate. There was no tongues or eagerness, it was just sweet. Jeff lifted his hand up and cupped Kurt's face. It wasn't just a kiss, it was a thank you. Kurt pulled back but remained inches from his face. Jeff eyes started to water and he laughed a little and turned away but Kurt pulled his head back firmly. Jeff leaned up and kissed him more forcefully.

Nick was standing there with his mouth wide open. His mouth felt dry. His boyfriend was kissing his best friends boyfriend rather passionately in front of them. He didn't even feel jealous. They had never seen them kiss before, especially like this.

Nick turned to Blaine and Blaine turned to him and he was smiling. They knew how much Kurt loved Jeff. He needed to show him that. Blaine walked over to Nick and placed a head on his shoulder and wrapped his arms round his waist and Nick put his arms round his.

Wes and David was watching them too. Wes was smiling at them and his head tilted on David's shoulder.

They knew it wasn't malicious and there was no threat. This was them showing there love for eachother. It was beautiful and beautiful to watch.

They pulled back and looked at eachother for a while before Jeff grabbed Kurt by his shirt and pulling him forward again. Jeff opened his mouth slightly and Kurt deepened it and moaned into his mouth. They kissed slowly and passionately. Completely forgetting they wasn't alone. Air was becoming short and they both pulled back. They rested their foreheads together. There was a tear running down Jeff's face and Kurt lifted his hand up and brushed it away. Kurt let out a watery laugh and a tear fell from his so Jeff lifted his hand up, brushing it way.

"What was that for Hummel?" Jeff choked out.

"I just love you Sterling."

Nick gasped as Jeff pulled him in again and opening his mouth for Kurt to deepen it. He moaned and slapped his hand over his face and he felt the tight grip on his body and Blaine chuckled and lean over.

"Don't worry, we are all thinking the same thing." Blaine said and pointing over to Wes and David.

Wes had jumped up and was leaning over the sofa to get a better look and David was behind him leaning over Wes with his mouth wide open. Damn.

Jeff giggled and started to blush. Kurt laughed too and stood up and helped his friend off the floor. Jeff leaned in and kissed him on the cheek and Kurt smiled. They turned there head and seen the others. Kurt eyes glanced at Nick and he started to panic.

"Nic-

"Don't Kurt. It's totally fine. You're more than welcome to do that again." Nick said quickly looking between them smiling.

Kurt and Jeff laughed and held hands.

"Yeah man. Totally." David said with his mouth hanging open and Wes slapped him across the head.

"Jesus Wesley!" David said laughing

Jeff smirked. "Hummel is an exceptional kisser. You both." He pointed to Wes and Blaine. "Are extremely lucky."

Blaine and Wes nodded and laughed.

"More than lucky." Blaine added and Kurt blushed and laughed.

"Now you know why we can't stop kissing him." Wes said to Jeff and he threw his head back and laughed.

"Agreed. It was phenomenal." Jeff moaned out and Kurt slapped his arm.

"I'm going now before I die."

Kurt left and he heard laughing from behind him. He quickly made his way through the halls. Fuck it. He stood outside flints room and knocked and flint opened it quickly

"Hummel!" Flint shouted and pulled his arm into a hug. "So you decided to come to the dark said huh!"

Kurt rolled his eyes and smiled and hugged him back. "I'm here for the wine exclusively Wilson!"

Flint pushed him into the full playfully and Kurt laughed.

"Please say you have wine."

"Of course Kurt! I heard you have a thing for the good old red." Thad said smirking and picking up the bottle and waving it.

"Good boy."

He walked over and kissed him on the cheek and sat down. Cameron had just walked in with glasses and walked over to Kurt and passed him his.

"Good to see you man! You ready to get wasted?" Cameron said pulling him in a quick hug and pulled back.

"Fuck yeah!"

They all laughed and Cameron sat down.

"Where's Ethan?" Kurt questioned as he tried to hold the glass out steadily but the caffeine was making his hands shake. Thad laughed and grabbed the glass and poured him a wine.

"He should be here in a minute. He's having trouble with the misses." Flint said rolling his eyes. "They are arguing."

Kurt nodded and placed the glass to his lips and took a sip and swallowed.

"I really don't know how you can drink that man. It's like vinegar." Cameron said wrinkling his nose up in disgust.

"It's good for you!"

"How is red wine good for you?" Flint said laughing

"Grapes." Kurt said smirking

The room went up in laughter and Kurt rolled his eyes and took another sip. It was nice being around other people. He felt like normal. Ethan came rushing into the room quickly looking very angry.

"Oh my god she just doesn't stop! Three hours on the phone! Three fucking hours! I couldn't get her to stop it was constant nagging and moaning and shouting at me!"

They all laughed and he sat down grabbing a bottle of beer and moaning as it ran down his throat.

"Oh shit hey Hummel!" Ethan said excitedly and leaned forward and brought him into the hug.

"Trouble in paradise?" Kurt whispered in his ear and Ethan nodded.

"Dude. She said I spent way to much time on the phone to another girl. That I'm disgusting excuse of a boyfriend."

"Seriously?" Kurt asked shocked

"Dude, the another girl is my fucking sister."

They all laughed and Kurt nearly spat his drink out and started to dribble and Thad reached over and caught the liquid before it went onto Kurt's clothes. Kurt swallowed and laughed and flint passed him over a tissue from a box that was casually sitting on his nightstand.

"Is this fucking clean? It's not one of your cum rags is it?"

"Oh my fucking god." Thad choked out.

Cameron was staring at him in horror and Ethan was rolling round the floor crying in laughter.

"You fucking kill me Hummel." Flint laughed out shaking his head. Damn this kid is funny.

Kurt smirked before cleaning himself up and leaning over and placing it in the bin.

"How long have to you both been going out?" Kurt said Ethan when he had finally stopped laughing.

"Two years dude. I do love her but I just can't cope with her shit no more." Ethan said taking another sip.

"His sister is sick." Thad added.

"I'm sorry." Kurt said sincerely and Ethan thanked him.

"Cancer is a bitch man." Ethan said looking at Kurt.

"Yeah it is." Kurt said smiling softly at him.

"Have you been through it Kurt?" Cameron asked. Kurt looked like he had. He looked like her understood.

"My mom when I was six. I was pretty young but I still remember is like it was yesterday."

"Shit sorry man." Cameron said sincerely.

"Oh it's good don't worry about it. I'm here if you want to talk about it though Ethan."

"Thank you dude, that means a lot." Ethan said smiling. This kid isn't real. He's a fucking angel

Thad smiled. He was glad his friends liked Kurt. They really enjoyed his company.

"So Kurt. I heard you and Anderson are pretty tight." Flint said smirking.

"More than tight." Kurt said winking.

"So everything good with you two now then?" Ethan asked while he leaned over to throw his empty bottle in the bin.

"Yeah more than good." Kurt replied back.

"That's good. Anderson was a wreck whe-

"Flint." Thad said sternly

"Fuck oh my god sorry Hummel I for-

"It's fine Flint. I made a mistake and I regret it everyday. It's all in the past now." Kurt said quickly.

"Still sorry man I literally forgot." Flint said leaning over and squeezing his hand quickly.

"It's okay honestly." Kurt said smiling. "So, you guys up for a game?"

They all smirked and nodded their head.
