A/N-One more chapter to go before the epilogue. Thank you all who are continuing to read the story. This chapter separates the lives as Fitz and Olivia to President and First Lady. They come together, as always for each other. Hope you enjoy, leave a review if you wish to do so. Happy reading.

Some of you had reached out to me about the character of Lacey Thomas. I have history of mental illness myself and I understand coping skills and needing to seek help. I am in no way trying to demeanor the character at all, in fact I want to bring awareness to while seeming "fine" on the outside, we can all be dealing with our silent demons on the inside. I hope I did Lacey justice in this chapter.

Next chapter we will put a final touch on the Mellie drama brewing. Thanks again for reading.

Chapter 33-Reality

Liv opened her eyes feeling comfort, a sense of being. It wasn't too often she was holding Fitz; it was usually the other way around. Last night had been their first intimate night of lovemaking since Little G was born and Fitz didn't disappoint.

Liv felt a bit of pride knowing she out did him some of the times they had made love, but she never felt better about herself for it. He taught her so much in the bedroom and she wanted to show him just how good a teacher he was.

Fitz's temple rested on Liv's breast. His curls were a messed-up disaster, but they looked so cute. Liv was so tempted to rub her hands through them, but she didn't want to wake him. She couldn't remember a time when he was so peacefully sleeping.

His chest was rising slowly up and down, and Liv just stared at his features. Yes, they were husband and wife, but Liv always felt things happened so fast they missed the little details in their relationship. She never would have believed you if you told her, she would be married to the President of the United States and the mother of his child two years ago. She would have laughed it off. Her only goal was to be a secret service agent, it wasn't to fall in love and start a family with whom she should be protecting.

Did she waste all that time training? Did she let her parents down by not sticking to her goal in life? She didn't think so but there was always that ounce of guilt that hit her each day. She spent hours at the shooting range, hours learning codes, and hours learning martial arts. Was all that to just become a wife and mother?

Then, she looked across the room at the cradle Little G would sleep in as a newborn, she looked down at Fitz, his arm wrapped possessively around her, and she thought about what it took to get to this moment in time. She had no regrets. She deeply loved this man, had no words to describe being a mother, and was adjusting to being the First Lady. She would always have her doubts, but there were three things she would never doubt: Being Fitz's wife, being G's mother, and choosing the life she is living now. He may be the president now and maybe for four more years, but then he's Fitz, and that's who she loved. That's who she would make more babies with.

Snapping out of her thoughts, Liv looked at the clock. It was only 4 a.m. Her internal motherly clock was not breaking routine. Even though G was still with Abby, she woke up on his schedule. If she could slither out from Fitz, she could workout. It had been a while since she did martial arts, and she could use some stress release.

With her slightest move, Fitz wringed his arm tighter around her waist. Geez, this man was possessive. She tried again, and this time he wiggled his head into her breast. "Livvie", he said groggily, "you ok?"

"I just need to go to the bathroom," she whispered. Fitz poked his head up, planted a soft kiss on her lips and rolled on his side falling back to sleep.

Fitz woke to the sound of grunts and heavy breathing. He felt for Liv, but the bed was empty. He rubbed his eyes, remembering the night of passion he had with Liv for the first time in a while. It was everything he missed and everything he could've wanted. She did things to him no woman could ever do to him. God how he loved her. But where was she?

He followed the sounds of the grunts and the breathing and found her in a wide empty space in the room looking in a full-length mirror. He stayed out of eye's way and watched her in awe. He knew she was good at martial arts but watching her practice these moves was a first for him.

She was in a Adidas white sports bra and loose, black workout shorts. Her arms and wrists moved with grace and the height her legs showed on her kicks were impressive for a woman of 5'4. He was most shocked by the force of her fist as she moved it front and back. She quickly, even faster than quickly, went right into an elbow strike right back to a hook punch.

Her legs moved swiftly, showing rear kicks, knee lifts and swift foot kicks. Her body was showing signs of how hard she was working out as the sweat started to drip and he could see through her bra. That was enough to bring him into view. He grabbed her from behind, stopping her in mid punch and she turned around.

"Hi! You look delicious", Fitz said as he kissed her sweaty neck.

"Hi and Fitz, I am a sweaty mess, stop. I need a shower."

"I am all for that too, I will shower, either way, here or in there, you are wet. You have quite some moves Mrs. Grant, can you kill someone with your martial arts?"

Fitz was not ready for her answer. "I can. Huck taught me a move called the Silat. It's one of the deadliest moves in Martial arts, and if perfected it can kill. I don't think I have perfected it, but I hope to never have to, it is amazing though to learn."

Fitz kept that in mind. "Remind me to never get on your bad side, Livvie."

She stepped closer to him and pulled him down for a tongue-tying kiss. "You will never be on my bad side Fitz; I love you too much for that. Besides someone other than me has to wake up to feed G in the middle of the night. Now about that shower." as she lifted her bra over her head and Fitz chased her into the bathroom.

Liv tried to start the shower, but Fitz caught up to her and started kissing the top portion of her body, despite the sweat. His mouth rested on her left breast, as he slowly licked her nipple, wet and soft. She let out a small moan as her hand rummaged through his thick curls. She could feel the aching brewing in her core.

She reached down to feel his erection. "You are always ready for me, Mr. President." She slipped his boxers down to feel him and to begin stroking him. This time, it was his turn to moan. "My Livvie, I may be ready for you, but you are always ready to take care of me."

Liv slipped her own shorts off, still a bit sweaty from her workout, but Fitz didn't seem to mind. He picked her up and lead her to the edge of the sink and sat her down. He was lined perfectly with her entrance, and he put one finger down to smear her juices just a bit.

"God, Fitz". She quivered with the touch of his finger. She was sensitive from what they put themselves through last night.

He grabbed her from behind holding a firm grip on her ass cheeks and slid her forward. With that, he pushed himself forward and entered her hard. With no hesitation he held her in position and thrusted his hips forward as they looked in each other's eyes.

Olivia used her hand to push his head to her lips where she locked hers with his and danced with his tongue. She just let him move their bodies and it felt so good with him so deep in her. He finally let one hand lose and caressed her spot with his two fingers. Slow circular motions that had Liv break away from the kiss and bury her head in his neck.

With his thrusts, relentless, and his fingers, he heard his name come softly out of her mouth as her body shook against his and he felt her become wetter with her orgasm. Gripping her a bit closer, he began to move faster so he could reach his and as she pressed her warm lips against his neck, Fitz could no longer hang on and he grabbed her in a way where she was suspended off the sink and he held her still pumping into her as he emptied inside.

Not putting her down, still inside her, he walked to the shower. Liv reached and turned it on. After a minute he stepped inside with her, setting her down and holding her close to his chest. They let the water beat down on them as they enjoyed some tender kisses and their last few moments of freedom from their busy schedules and Little G.

Lacey greeted Fitz as he exited the elevator from the residence on his way to the Oval. Cyrus was also waiting for him, but he was expecting Cyrus, he wasn't expecting Lacey. He glanced over at his agent who whispered to him, "she just showed up around a minute ago with her press pass, saying she needed to speak to you. I was just about to send her back to the press room, but you showed up."

Without stopping, he nodded at Lacey. "Ms. Thomas what can I do for you? If you are looking for Mrs. Grant, she is getting dressed upstairs and should be in her office shortly."

Before Cyrus could begin telling him what he needed to say, Lacey started following them, matching their pace step for step. "Oh, no Mr. President I came to see you, to talk to you. The other day Mrs. Grant mentioned Garrison's wellness visit and I noticed you weren't with her. Before I write the full story for publication today, I wanted to be sure everything was alright and get your comments on his visit. Mrs. Grant said our baby was 14….

"Our baby? Ms. Thomas, you may want to correct your use of words, Fitz looked a bit puzzled at Cyrus. Cyrus was getting annoyed, and Fitz could see it in his face. "Ms. Thomas, get to your point before I enter the Oval, please."

"I am sorry Mr. President, Mrs. Grant said our baby, meaning yours and hers. It came out wrong. She quickly corrected what wasn't wrong in her world. Garrison was their baby, she should have had him, not Olivia. "Anyway, I just wanted your thoughts on his wellness visit."

They had just arrived outside the Oval and Fitz turned to her. "Fine, I will have Lauren send my comments to Loretta or Abby and one of them will get it to you within the hour, now if you'll excuse me."

Lacey was deliberately standing in front of him and as he moved to step around her, she side stepped with him and he put his hand on her shoulder to brush her aside. That small touch, though, went through Lacey's body and brought chills down her spine.

Fitz entered the Oval, closing the door behind him, not realizing what that slight touch did to Lacey. He carried on his business with Cyrus so he could turn his attention to the Mellie issue.

"Sir, your approval ratings. I am sure Lauren briefed you last night about them." Cyrus had the biggest smile on his face.

"She did Cyrus, things are looking good getting into the home stretch of the campaign. What's on the agenda?"

"Actually, Liv is campaigning for you today. A difficult women's group is having a brunch. You are going to want their endorsement. They are very influential, and it could seal the women's vote for you. I think Liv can do this."

"I have no doubt Liv can do this. She very big with women's issues, equal pay, and women's rights. I am sure this will go well." Fitz said proudly.

"You have three calls to take. The governor of Michigan, being the target of coup is calling in a half hour to discuss National Guard deployment. After her call, you're going to want to address the press about the standoff in Arizona at the military compound. A soldier held his wife and child at gunpoint after she threatened to leave him, he shot two fellow soldiers and put the gun on himself. He suffered from mental illness, and it may be wise to put light on the subject. The final call, you're going to want to speak to the German Prime Minister as Cyrus handed him a paper on the topic.

"Got it Cy, thanks. You said I have a half hour right, give me the room so I can make a few of my own calls."

He tried calling Liv, but she had already left the residence. She was on her way to the brunch. She was doing her part of the campaign push for Fitz. Maybe she shouldn't have packed her gun, but she did. She hadn't in a while and since she didn't have Little G with her, she felt it was a good time to do so.

"Abby, how was he, did he keep you up all night crying for his mama?" Liv was in the car when Abby called.

"Quite the opposite. He slept peacefully through the night. He woke up at 6 for a feeding and he's just raising his tired head now to show me he is awake. Sorry, but he loves his Aunt Abby."

"Whatever, I am off to a brunch, Lia is waiting for you to bring him to the residence. Should I tell her you'll be a bit later than expected being he just woke up?"

"Yeah, do that, please, this way I am not in a rush to get us both ready. Tell her I should be there by 2. You and Fitz reacquaint yourselves last night, hmmm?"

"Goodbye Abigail, and this morning too." She laughed as she hung up while Abby's jaw dropped open and then turned into a smile.

Lacey had seen Olivia leave the White House. She was supposed to meet up with her at the brunch and write a small piece of the interactions, but she sent a junior reporter instead. She had other things on her agenda. Her patience was getting shorter. She wanted to be in Fitz's life. There was only one way. He needed to see her with Garrison, see that she could take care of him and Fitz at the same time. She was slowly making this crush a dangerous obsession. She just found it hard to control herself.

She had plans to try to get to the Residence while Garrison was there. She would find a way to get him, make a story up for the service agents with him. They all knew she was Liv's reporter; Liv was wrapped up now and she sent for her to get Garrison. Whatever the way, she would sit at her desk and plan her next move.

"Madam First Lady." Belinda Barnes, the President of the Women's Emancipation Group greeted her warmly as she entered the brunch. Liv brought her detail of Santiago and Beth with her. She figured it wouldn't hurt the women of the group to see Liv had no qualms about having a woman as an agent. This was a sight Belinda immediately noticed.

As Liv made her way around the room, the constant talk was about the birth on live TV. It was still a hot topic four months later and it was starting to wear down on Liv just how much of an impact the birth of her son on live TV had on the nation.

"I don't know how you did it ma'am. I would've been a screaming wreck, those childbirth pains are no joke. "You didn't even have an epidural, did you?" "I have followed your story since you were on Metro PD, you always were one tough cookie."

These were some of the things she was being chatted along with as she kept a smile on her face and greeted as many as she could.

After brunch, Liv took the podium. She had a few words to say, and she was going to take some questions. Hopefully, they didn't all revolve around the birthing experience. She wanted to go more in the direction of Fitz's campaign and their endorsement.

"As many of you are fully aware, the women in the line of secret service workforce, such as my agent Beth, Liv looked over and nodded to her, and of myself is that of 10%. My father always reminded me, the field I was getting into was known as a man's job, never mind me succeeding as not only a woman, but a woman of color. President Grant is slowly breaking down these barriers for women in the so-called men's work force. So much so, the Simms's Academy for young girls wanting to get into law enforcement is up and running. The focus is for girls to learn the skills needed to work in the field Beth and myself have chosen. It is to be better than the men that currently control the percentage. We can only do that if we have a President the next four years that believes women can do the job as well as, if not better than men. "

After a round of applause, Liv directed the attention back to Belinda. Belinda addressed the ladies and said there was time for five questions. Belinda would let the questions be asked by Louise, the communications director for the organization. "Serious questions only." Belinda looked at Liv. "You know the President is quite handsome, the questions may deem inappropriate by some, so we will filter them. "

Liv gave an embarrassed smile. It never really dawned on her that the women in the country saw Fitz as attractive. It wasn't lost on Lacey, but Liv wasn't going to base it on what Lacey Thomas thought of her husband. Thinking of…she scanned the room for Lacey but saw Rafael jotting down notes. While Belinda was still talking to the ladies, she whispered to Beth to get a hold of Huck and ask if he could meet after the brunch.

"Mrs. Grant, my name is Julia Baker, I am very impressed by your sharp shooting skills both as an officer and as an agent. Are you continuing to carry a firearm as First Lady, and if so why, if not why?"

Liv didn't know if this was a good thing or not. She tried to approach the question with caution. "Ms. Baker, thank you for your question. Yes, I have been sharpshooter, earning awards throughout my enforcement career for that category. I was able to thwart an assassination attempt on President Grant's life. I do still carry, only when I am not in the presence of my son. I frequent the shooting range. I carry for the sole purpose of protection. I do so because I can. The brave agents you see will take a bullet for me, and for that I am grateful, but if they go down, who protects me? I protect me. I am currently instructing and teaching the safeties of firearms and using them correctly to the young women at the academy. A gun should not be used as a weapon of destruction, they should be legally purchased with background checks. I am for gun control if it prevents breaking the law."

She couldn't read the women's face. She didn't know if she answered to her liking, but it was her thoughts. Belinda was staring at Liv with a crooked smile before she realized it was time for the next question.

Liv answered questions about the academy, admissions process, and donor money. She answered questions about being a mom, refusing a full-time nanny, and doing her duties as First Lady. She spoke of Fitz and his policies and bills in the works for single moms, working moms, and same sex moms.

As the brunch was winding down, Liv said her goodbyes. As Belinda walked her to the door, she said she would be in touch with Loretta by the morning. Liv gave her pamphlets about the academy and reassured her it was all Fitz's idea after one of his best female service agents was killed on the job. Belinda nodded politely and Liv walked out.

"I don't even want to think about it", Liv said it to Beth who let out a chuckle. "Ma'am, you were fine. I think you won them over. Huck said to call him immediately when you are finished. Shit, Liv thought, she didn't get to talk to Rafael. She scoped the room before she left, but he wasn't anywhere. Liv took out her phone.

"You're going to want to come to this address Liv, Huck said as he answered the call.

"What address? What's going on?"

"Liv, just come here. I will meet you at the entrance so your agents can stay downstairs. You need to see this."

Huck hung up the phone as he was standing in the middle of Lacey's apartment. His first sight was the crib and that sent a shiver through him. When he saw the wall filled with pictures of her and Fitz and Garrison, he knew this woman was not stable. Liv had to know the truth.

Liv gave Fitz a quick call. He was in between calls and was able to speak to her. "How did the brunch go?"

"I don't know. They weren't exactly the type of women I would usually have brunch with. I just hope I didn't make things worse for you."

"You could never do that, Livvie. If I don't get a second a term, then, we are off to Vermont to live our lives."

Liv couldn't help but smile. She thought of the pictures being sent to them weekly. The house was coming along and should be ready by year's end. They were thinking of spending time there after Christmas.

"Nice try Mister, but you are winning a second term. I am not doing all this smiling and talking for you to run off to Vermont."

"What time is Abby dropping my little guy off?"

"Around 2, so in about fifteen minutes."

"Have her bring him to me. I will call up and tell Lia. I'll take him up there before my next phone call."

"You sure, I am just going to see Huck for a few things about the Academy", she lied. She always felt Fitz knew when she was lying.

"The Academy? Is everything ok?"

"Yeah, just a few things to go over. I will call you when I am on my way back. If you're busy I'll leave a message with Lauren. I love you."

"I love you too, oh and Livvie, do something for me?"

"Yes?"

"Get all sweaty again later so I can…."

"You are shameless Mister, goodbye."

"I love you Liv." Smiling as he hung up the phone, he was looking forward to seeing his little guy.

"Abs. When you get the White House, drop Little G in the Oval, Fitz is there, and I notified Lauren. He wants to spend some time with him."

"How did the brunch go?" Abby had scheduled it, and wanted to be there, but Little G stole her heart, so she stayed with him instead.

"Ugh, I don't know. Belinda Barnes said she would contact you or Loretta tomorrow. I don't want to think about it."

"Tomorrow? No way. After I drop off G, I will get a hold of her. We aren't waiting on this."

"This is one of the many reasons I love you Abby. I'll see you later."

Lacey saw Abby enter the White House and she started to make her way towards the Residence again. If Abby was dropping off Garrison upstairs, she would be there. She didn't notice Abby take the detour to the Oval.

"There's my guy." Fitz grabbed G from Abby as he hugged him close with kisses on his cheek. "Mommy and I missed you so much. Say thank you to Aunt Abby. She helped make daddy a happy man last night." He looked over at Abby with a smirk, "oh and this morning too."

"Goodbye Mr. President." She gave Garrison nose grab and quick kiss on his forehead as she left.

Fitz had a blanket on the floor he rested Garrison on his belly. Fitz had a little musical toy he was holding next to Garrison, when suddenly Garrison rolled over towards the toy. "Look at you big guy. You just rolled over for the first time. Don't tell mommy ok, I am going to try to get this on video."

Fitz tried several more times, and sure enough, Garrison gave him a show for his camera, rolling over towards the toy. Fitz was so happy; he didn't even hear Cyrus come in.

"Sir, the call to the German Prime Minister."

"Sir, the call to the German Prime Minister," Fitz said in his best baby voice to G. "Let me call…."

"Sir!", Lia came running in, "Lacey Thomas was up in the Residence over Garrison's crib. When I saw her, she took off, and she exited the White House before I could stop her. She took one of his blankets though."

Fitz looked confusingly at Cyrus. Suddenly, his gut told him Liv wasn't with Huck for the Academy. "Cyrus, reschedule that call for me." He handed Garrison off to the nurse and called in two agents. "Stay with her, do not leave their side."

"Yes, Sir." They headed up to the Residence while Fitz called Huck's phone.

Olivia was wide eyed, staring at all the pictures of Fitz and Garrison. She felt a lump in her throat when she saw the crib. She took a hard swallow as she was standing over it. A pit formed in her stomach as she thought of Little G in that crib. Clearly, Lacey was more unstable than she thought.

Huck grabbed her bag. Liv snatched her neck around. He opened the bag and took her gun. "What the hell, Huck?"

"You can't have this while she is here."

"While who is?" Liv turned and saw Lacey standing in the doorway holding G's crib blanket.

"What are you doing in my house?"

"What are you doing with my s…." Liv stopped in mid-sentence.

Suddenly, Olivia eyes began to water, and she felt the heat rise in her face. She felt her hands begin to tremble a little, and she slowly calmed herself down. Liv dealt with many Lacey Thomas's from her time on the force. This is your family though Liv, the little voice in her head said. Calm it down Liv the other voice said. Liv took a step closer to Lacey and squinted right into her eyes. Huck had a small tug on Liv's jacket as his phone started to ring.

Liv's eyes didn't leave Lacey's. "Get your phone Huck, I am fine here."

Huck saw it was Fitz calling. He stood in the doorway so he could have eye contact of Liv. He told Fitz what was happening and gave him the address.

The whole car ride there, Liv's words played repeatedly. "Huck taught me a move called the Silat, it can kill if perfected." "Fitz, if anyone tried to hurt you or him, I would just…"

Fitz ran his fingers though his hair. He called to Beth and Santiago who were downstairs waiting as per Liv's orders. It seemed like hours when they finally pulled up to the building. Fitz was on his way inside when he heard Huck's voice. "Liv, NO!"

Then he heard yelling and loud sobbing. It was Lacey yelling at Liv as Liv was approaching her while Lacey was backing away. Lacey was yelling and when Huck saw Liv going towards Lacey, that's when he yelled.

Liv turned to face Huck and put her finger on her lips to shush him, she noticed Fitz standing behind Huck. She did a calming motion to Fitz letter her know she has this.

Liv approached Lacey who was staring at the wall with the pictures. Lacey didn't realize Fitz was there yet. Liv placed her arm around Lacey's shoulder. She pointed to a picture of Fitz and Lacey. "When was this taken?"

Lacey glanced cautiously over at Liv. "You aren't mad that I have this?"

"Mad? No I am not mad at all Lacey. I am curious, I would like to know about these pictures because I haven't seen many of them before."

Liv let Lacey describe the pictures. She didn't judge her, she didn't interrupt her, she just listened to her.

Liv pointed to the picture of Garrison. "That was just the other day, right? What do you think of that picture?"

"He's such an adorable baby. I wish he was mine." She looked at Liv, with tears in her eyes. "I know he isn't mine. He is yours. He is yours and the President's. " Lacey started to sob a bit, and Liv pulled her in for a hug. Liv was able to see into the hall and Fitz had called in a few people. He pointed to one as a psychiatrist. Liv let Lacey keep talking signaling to Fitz to hold off for another minute or so.

"Lacey, why don't you tell me what you're feeling?"

Lacey started to open up to Liv. She told her how she thought Fitz was handsome and she had asked him out, but he was very professional. When she saw her and Fitz were going to get married, she was angry and started collecting the pictures. Then, after the wedding, it had come a reality and Liv was pregnant, Lacey started feeling lonely.

Liv turned to Lacey. "Lacey, I know you understand Fitz and I are married, but he still likes you, he thinks you're a great reporter."

Lacey shook her head, not believing it. "I think after all of this, he is going to hate me, Olivia. I am very sorry about all of this."

"He isn't going to hate you." Liv signaled for Fitz to come in, and he went on the other side of Lacey and rubbed her back.

"Lacey, will you do something for me?" he asked cautiously.

Lacey nodded, and Fitz said, "Will you speak to this gentleman? This is Matt. He's going to talk to you about a few things."

"Am I under arrest?" Lacey asked nervously.

"No, of course not." Fitz said. I just want you to feel better about yourself and to talk to someone who understands your feelings.

Lacey lifted up G's blanket and went to hand it to Liv. Liv stopped her and said, "keep it." Lacey pulled Fitz in for a hug, and she was very surprised when he returned it. She stepped aside and walked to Matt, who led her out of the apartment.

Without hesitation, Fitz grabbed Liv and pulled her into his chest. Liv just began to tremble and to cry in his arms. He hadn't heard Liv cry like this before. "You ok?"

"Fitz, my first instinct was to hurt her, possibly even kill her. Huck took my gun, and I still can't tell myself that I wouldn't have used it. I wanted to use force also. I was able to calm myself, the training I received on the force to talk down suicidal people. I just went with it. Thank God I saw you out there. I just…..she sobbed again….I just saw the crib….and….can we just go to Little G…please."

On the car ride back, Liv rested her head on his shoulder as she heard Fitz arguing with Cyrus. "Clear the schedule. I want it announced I am taking my wife and my son to Camp David for a few days. Yes, I realize it's campaign time, but I am still doing it. I will take any other work with me. The next three days, the President, First Lady, and their son will be taking a break before a full blown campaign trail winding down to the election."

As soon as Fitz hung up, Liv's phone rang. It was Abby. "Great news Liv, the women's group loved you. I never heard Belinda Barnes to be so in praise of someone, but you really won her over. They are announcing their endorsement of President Grant in the morning. This should follow with an influx of other women's groups." It made Liv smile, the first in a few hours and her eyes were sparkling telling the news to Fitz.

"Well, I have even better news." Fitz pushed a button on his phone as he watched Olivia see G rolling over in the Oval.

"Oh my God, he did it." Liv was overjoyed, watching the clip over again.

"Yep, in the presence of his daddy, but he wouldn't do it until the camera was on him so mom could see", Fitz smirked. "You know how he loves the cameras."

Back in the Residence, Liv lay on the bed with Little G in between her and Fitz. He kept rolling to his back to face either one of them, smiling as he did so. Liv couldn't stop staring at him, and Fitz couldn't stop staring at her.

"You did great today Liv, I was really worried. I thought about that move you told me about in martial arts and I just wondered if that would be the time you tried to perfect it. I shouldn't think like that of you."

"Fitz, when I signed up to be an agent, it was to serve at the pleasure of the President, to protect you, and to possibly kill for you. You had every right to think that, I am not offended."

They both looked down at Little G. He had exhausted himself to sleep as he lay calmly between his parents. Liv caressed his thickening curls and continued down to chubby cheeked face. "I love you so much Little G."

Fitz put his hand over Liv's as she caressed their son's face. She looked at him as he reached over to give her a kiss on the lips. "And I love you and him more than anything."
