After flopping on the couch, Amanda reached out with her mind to speak to that omnipotent being with the powers beyond comprehension that had been responsible for bringing all of the survivors to this bizarre place. It didn't take long before she got a reply.

The Entity responded to her, using the gravely, mildly sarcastic tone that it always used when she contacted it herself, rather than the Entity being the one to decide to speak to her. It always seemed bemused when she thought to it like a hesitant girl trying to ask a parent if it was okay for her to attend the party being thrown by the popular kids in the school. The Entity said, "Yes...?"

She decided not to bother asking if it already knew what was going on. As she'd told Claudette, she knew it did. It watched all the trials even more closely now, and it would very clearly already have witnessed this Joey killer going completely easy on Claudette, and passing her a note in the latest trial. It was apparent that the Entity was bemused, as the punishments for letting her constantly escape hadn't been severe enough that Joey had been intimidated into never passing her that note at all.

Still, she felt a bit awkward, as she frequently tended to feel when she contacted it on her own. She almost felt like she was bothering it. It was a God, after all, and the only reason she'd contacted it just now was to make sure she had permission to tag along with Claudette while she talked to a killer. It's not like she was seeking the answer to the meaning of life. Amanda asked lamely, "Uh...Whatcha doin'?" At least that question would allow her to make sure the Entity wasn't busy and she wasn't bothering it at this particular moment, though she could have made herself sound less like an idiot when doing so.

"I was making the Wraith pay for his failures. He'll never know it, but you saved him from several minutes of additional torture by you reaching out. I could obviously do both, but it's more fun when I can focus entirely on watching them all squirm in pain. Besides, I of course know exactly why you reached out to me."

"What are your thoughts?" She smiled, wondering if the Wraith knew she'd saved it from several minutes of additional pain, She wondered if the Entity told him if the Wraith would have sent her a gift basket of metal parts and bones as a thank-you present.

"At the present, I have a number of ideas. It's been many years since you were in the position Joey is in now, and I have had plenty of time to witness that allowing you to grow and love your meat was the right decision. Since you have the unique perspective of transitioning from killer to survivor, I will allow you to share with me your personal perspective before sharing with you the ideas which are my own."

Amanda said, "Well first of all, I'm curious to know if you even approve of a conversation with Claudette and Joey, and approve of her going to meet him. I'm also very curious to know if I would have your approval to do what she asked and tag along with her as a, I dunno, chaperone, I guess?"

The Entity chuckled. "I do not recall you asking permission when you sought to stop killing, allowed the meat Jake to remain in your realm after you discovered his presence there when no trial was taking place, and then took him to your bed."

Amanda blushed. "Well...I mean, I...Fuck, I honestly don't know if anything would have gone differently. I know you can't feel the things we do...But the way he made me feel, the things I felt when he kissed me...Even though I didn't know that it would lead to where it has, I know I'd have made the same choice over and over again if it was given to me, and I'm sorry for that."

"Apologies are not necessary. If they were, I'd have demanded them long before now. I have told you about my feelings regarding free will. What happened between you, while not in the norm, was of your own choosing. If you'd threatened him, or tried to force him to your will, I naturally would have punished you severely," the Entity told her. "The potential for killer and survivor relationships was not something I readily prepared for, but I knew it was a possibility if the killer were somewhat human themselves. Because you looked normal under the mask, because Legion members did as well, I saw the potential if a survivor were to see you without them, and you did not regard them with the hostility they are shown within a trial."

The Entity paused, and the next statement it made was laced with uncertainty. "However, I do not see the potential of a similar situation arising between a survivor and the Oni, as an example. If it did, I would question the critical thinking of your species. I have personally witnessed things you would be unable to comprehend, however, I do not think even I am capable of witnessing something of that nature."

Amanda's mouth curled into disgust.

"Getting back to the point, I saw no reason to put any major plan in place, because there were so few killers in the realm that I viewed as even remotely being considered by the survivors as an ideal candidate for a human and killer relationship, so I merely watched and waited. The only requirement that I predetermined beforehand was that the relationship had to occur with both subjects as willing participants. I would not allow any killer, no matter how human they were, to use threats, manipulation, or their general abilities to coerce a survivor into a relationship with them. As the meat Jake was a willing participant, and because you were as well, I allowed it to proceed."

The Entity paused, possibly for effect, and kept speaking. "Since the situation has arisen again, and since you speak for me, I now have decided I will share with you my decisions on the matter, which you can then share with the survivors if the situation is to arise in the future. You will be happy to note that many of my decisions have been based on the relationship you have established yourself. A killer, falling in love with a human, saving herself from her death, tracking down the human she loved, then marrying them is an outcome that I am naturally proud of having had a hand in making a reality."

Amanda smiled at the Entity's boastful tone. For a brief moment, she regretted she couldn't have invited it to the wedding.

"If a survivor or killer wishes to pursue a personal relationship outside of a trial, they will be allowed to do so, dependent on both parties being willing participants. If lies or intimidation are used in its formation, it will not be allowed. The survivor will only be allowed to travel to the killer's realm, and naturally, only outside of a trial. The killer must continue to serve me in any trial in which they are selected for, and if the hesitation generated from the relationship prevents them from attempting to sacrifice at least three survivors to the best of their abilities, then the continuance of the relationship will be forbidden. If they are able to sacrifice all four, all the better, but I have decided the minimum they must attempt to sacrifice is three, so if the human they are courting is in the trial with them, they may allow that human to complete the trial and escape uninjured'

Amanda had a question but naturally, the Entity answered it before she spoke. "Before you ask, I did allow you to change your alliances, Yet I am now making it clear that will not be allowed if another killer were to follow in your same path. I'm sure you are asking yourself why. The answer is both simple, and cruel. While I have never experienced a regret over my decision, and while I am pleased with the results, It simply is not as easy to find killers suited for the realm as it is survivors, due to the limitations to their abilities. Even then, there are problems, as Krueger has shown you, when use their abilities beyond the rules that have been established in the realm.

It paused again, and then spoke in a tone of pleasure. "Also, I was able to see into your memories and discover the hostility you bore to the human known as Hoffman. As he had similar capabilities to you in the real world, and because I am cruel, I knew that if I allowed you to change your allegiances, I already had him as a suitable replacement for you. In your case, I was able to immediately replace you, with a killer already trained, and was eager to serve me. There was no void left by allowing you to be hunted, rather than hunt."

She thought to it again. "Thank you for the explanation, and I will pass it on as necessary. I mean, I knew you had to know already what was going on, but I've reached the point where your opinion of me matters now. When Claudette asked for my help, the very first thing I thought of, which I'm sure you already knew, was whether or not you'd give me your permission to tag along, and no matter how much I like Claudette and want to help her, if you said no, then it's a no. This is your realm. You gave us a lot of leeway, but I and Jake and the others are only here because you let us. I had to have your okay..." Amanda caught herself before she thought, "Dad."

The Entity was quiet a moment. "My dear Amanda, if I had the ability to feel appreciation, I would feel it now. You've demonstrated why I made the correct choice in doing the things I've done for you so far, and have shown I made the right choice in selecting you to have the privilege of direct communication with myself. Of course I witnessed the conversation, but wasn't entirely sure if the reason you declined to say yes immediately was due to simple fear, or because of your respect. Naturally, the knowledge it was out of respect pleases me," It said. "Of course, another reason why I'm so readily allowing my survivor/killer relationship plans to proceed is because Joey has only shown mercy to Claudette herself. Even with his concessions to let her go, he's consistently slaughtered the other three survivors without pity. Minor deviations in the status quo are more favorable than complete deviations. You and Joey made the right decisions with your actions in that regard, and thus, you are both now rewarded."

"Go with her tonight. Naturally I will be present to see what takes place, and I'm fascinated to view what happens. If a consensual bond is formed, she may continue to visit him at her own discretion," it said. "Now, I'm going to resume my cruelty and finish what I began with the Wraith. Until this evening," And with that, she felt it go.

With the okay given, Amanda turned to Jake, who had been watching her as she had her silent thought conversation with the Entity. She told him all that had taken place, and what was going on with Claudette and Joey. After she finished, he asked, "Do you think it's real? Does he, you know, like her?"

Amanda shrugged. "I liked you, and then I fell in love with you, so it's not completely impossible that he might be attracted to Claudette as I got attracted to you. After all, he's a young adult, the same as Claudette. But she's one of the most fragile, so I'm going to be watching like Hell for warning signs. She strikes me as the type who would be pretty messed up if she discovered she was, I dunno, duped?"

Jake nodded. "I know you'll look out for her. Wow, we're largely responsible for the Entity deciding to allow survivor/killer relationships in the realm. I mean, I agree, seeing like Nea and the Oni would be REALLY weird, and...Ugh...Ace and the Plague would be pretty disgusting, but in certain cases I could see how it could not only happen, but work out. I haven't seen him out of a mask, but Joey seems human enough to have a relationship with Claudette."

Amanda stretched out on the couch beside him, stretched out her legs, and rested her little bare feet in his lap. "Most definitely. And you know that survivor-killer sex is the hottest sex in the realm, from experience. Even if the killer switched sides, and doesn't have the power anymore. I thought we were gonna break the bed that first time at the Gideon plant. Good thing I'm just as good without my killer powers as I was with them."

She moved her feet gently, teasing him. Once again he found himself in awe of this woman who wore his ring. She'd been crying her eyes out less 30 minutes earlier, and now she was completely turned on for him. He knew when he said I do that they'd have lots of great sex even after marriage, but sometimes she seemed insatiable. What man would ever be ungrateful to have a woman as sexy and beautiful as Amanda was, and who not only wanted sex daily, but at the drop of a hat? Christ it was like a dream.

He raised his eyes to the ceiling. Thank you, Jesus...A...Men.

He turned his head to her, and his eyes roved her body. She looked incredible in a bikini. She wanted him, right there and now, and by God, he wanted her. As sexy as the bikini was, he wanted to see her out of it. He laid between her legs and kissed her. Amanda responded immediately, burying her fingers in his long black hair. She reached through the waistband of his pants and stroked his stiffening cock to full hardness as Jake pulled the bikini bottoms down her thighs.

She gasped, as she always did, when her pussy soaked itself in anticipation of him and he was able to slide entirely inside of her in his first thrust. She wrapped her legs behind his ass as he passionately pounded into her, their orgasms building quickly. Her legs rubbed against the outside of his thighs as she moved her body in an effort to milk him to orgasm.

She quickly peaked, moaning and biting into Jake's shoulder as her body exploded in the tingling heat from her core. She moved her body faster under him, milking his cock more strongly until he gasped and grunted as his orgasm filled her.

She felt it, so warm, so pleasant. She was disappointed she'd never have his kid, but even if she could, they definitely weren't prepared for one in the next nine months. The times she regretted a permanent lack of pregnancy were far less than the times she was happy she couldn't get knocked up. She was definitely grateful for the realm's "birth control" at the moment. She pressed her lips to his ear. "I could fuck you every minute of every day," she lightly panted into his ear.

"So could I," he quietly panted back to her. "You're insatiable and I fucking love it. I know before me, sex wasn't really something you enjoyed. You just did it for...You know. It's definitely a boost to the ego that I'm the guy that awakened your inner nympho and now you not only love it with me, but want it ALL the fucking time it seems like. I love you. "

She wrapped her arms around him tightly and smiled. "I fucking love you too." He had a much better control of his mouth than she did of her own, and his cursing was sometimes limited. She loved it when she made him excited enough to drop the F-word nearly as much as she loved the feeling of being fucked by his big cock.

Later, and dressed, Amanda wandered the camp until she found Claudette. She said, "We're on." Claudette smiled gratefully and Amanda shared the new killer/survivor dating rule, direct from the Entity.

After the sun dropped from the sky, Amanda and Claudette left the fire to walk through the other side of the woods to the border of the Legion realm. Claudettes shoes made quiet noises in the grass, while Amanda, who now practically lived barefoot, was walking virtually noiselessly beside her. She wondered as she walked if it was more than just comfort that made her do so, she wondered if it was also because a lack of shoes left her in a constant state of stealth wherever she roamed. Or maybe it was simply because she'd have to wear them in an office setting. Here, her day job was doing trials or wandering the camp. Who wouldn't take the advantage to not wear shoes if they could?

At the border of the realms, someone was already waiting for them. He wore a dark hoodie and clothing. it had to be Joey. The fact that he'd already been there waiting for them as soon as the sun went down definitely was a point in his favor. She'd have expected someone who was gaming Claudette to have made them wait for his arrival.

He was maskless, like she had been when she talked with Ash that first time, and all of the survivors after him. When he saw Claudette, he dropped the hoodie, revealing a young, handsome face, dark hair cut very short. She noticed for the first time that there were big black circles around his eyes, and he had a very thin beard, closer to stubble.

Joey looked pleased when he saw Claudette, but wary when he noticed Amanda was with her. Amanda quickly told him, "She asked me to come, and so did the Entity."

Joey's eyes widened. "The Entity speaks to you?" Amanda nodded. She quickly told him of the allowance the Entity was making as he smiled at the news.

"I'm not here to interfere. Anything you say is between you two. 'K.?" Joey relaxed a bit at that and smiled.

Amanda hung back as Claudette got closer to the invisible fence. She felt a presence in her head and heard the Entity chuckle. "I'm manifesting myself in you directly to keep my presence from being detected by Joey. It might make him hesitant, I am a God, after all." It was never an odd feeling, she noted. In a small way, feeling the Entity's presence in her was slightly powerful. More, she knew she was the only survivor in the camp that regularly felt the Entity's presence in this way. It demonstrated to her the high regard it carried for her, to be willing to be present in the body of now just a mere survivor.

"I'm not sure what to do here, so I'm just gonna start talking," Joey said, with just a trace of nervousness. "We've done a lot of trials together, and lately, I've noticed a...Change in how I felt about you. I guess you'd call it an attraction. I didn't want to say anything, because we're kinda from different worlds, but the more I saw you, the more I wanted to get closer, so finally, yesterday, I made a bold step. I admit, I wasn't sure you'd come, but I'm really glad you did."

Claudette smiled and blushed. Amanda, the Entity within her head, remained silent as promised. She watched his face, but saw nothing that indicated he wasn't sincere.

"So as I got attracted to you, I...Stopped doing what I was supposed to do when you were in trials with me, to let you know how I was feeling about you. I don't know how you feel about me, probably not a whole lot right now since you didn't really know until now...But...Man this is so fuckin' hard to say...I was wondering, if...Maybe...You'd be willing to come over here sometime and just hang out, the two of us."

Claudette was silent for a moment. "You mean...Like a date?"

Joey said quickly, "Just to hang out...Unless...I mean...Unless you wanted it to be a date. I wouldn't let anything happen to you while you were over here, I promise."

Without hesitation, the Entity spoke in Amanda's head. "As she should well know, the request is granted, if she chooses to."

Claudette looked at her, and Amanda nodded.

But then the Entity itself made the suggestion, that would set the next sequence of events in motion. Neither Amanda nor it had any inkling at the time of what was to happen because of it, however.

"The only condition is that you accompany her over the border. While Joey has affection for her, I have watched his interactions with the leader of Legion, a man named Frank Morrison. While Joey has affection for her, Frank does not. You will serve as my...Shall we say, representative. It will keep him in line without my being present myself, and I will not have to use my powers to punish him to follow my will ."

Amanda spoke quickly. "I'll be coming too. Entity's orders." She winked at the pair. Joey looked uncertain. "I won't be following you around, you two can do all the heavy petting you want."

Joey and Claudette both reddened in embarrassment as Amanda smiled sweetly and innocently at them. She thought to the Entity, "What if me being your rep isn't enough to keep him in line?"

The Entity responded, "If he is foolish enough to instigate something even if told you are there because I sent you, you will be more than prepared. Wear long sleeves."

Amanda gave it a slight nod. She knew it would have her covered. The plan was set. Claudette and Joey split up, and she returned to where Amanda was standing. "Tomorrow night."

*************************************************************************

Amanda had further informed Jake of the situation, and after they'd slept and faced the new day, they had both watched, mildly amused, as Claudette had gone through the day looking more and more anxious over the upcoming "date." As soon as the sun went down, she snuck off from the group as Amanda carefully followed her. Claudette was in a jog by the time they were sheltered among the trees.

They got to the border, but it was empty this time. Claudette took a deep breath and crossed the invisible line. Amanda didn't hesitate herself. As soon as she stepped over the "line," she felt a change come over her. It was something she hadn't felt in a long time.

"I have restored your abilities as the Pig," the Entity, seemingly reading her mind, quickly informed her. "You will only possess them while you are in this realm, and the abilities will instantly disappear when you return to the realm of the survivors. Their leader, Morrison, respects the power of the blade. If he instigates, and you give him a personal demonstration of your knife skills... Well, allow me to say the following in a way that you would describe it yourself. He will know not to...Fuck with you."

Amanda beamed. An F-bomb from the Entity itself. Would wonders never cease? It heard her thought and chuckled, and she felt its presence disappear.

Amanda was wearing a light, form-fitting dark blue silk top with long sleeves, but had retained a pair of the very short shorts she liked to wear. She'd also decided to not go entirely barefoot, but her concession to footwear was a pair of dark blue flip flops to go with the top. She simply did not like the feel of her feet encased in shoes anymore.

She also fully understood now the Entity's wardrobe suggestion. She raised the sleeve of her right hand slightly, and looked at the retractable blade strapped to her wrist. While the powers were restored, the murderous rage was not, and she was glad for it. These powers and tools were for their protection, not murder. She gave her right arm a familiar twist, and even in just the moonlight, she could see the long, sharp blade was gleaming. She retracted the blade and let her sleeve drop and hurried to catch up to Claudette.

Claudette was standing still. She had noticed the glow of a fire in the distance, and they both approached. When they were close enough, they saw four figures sitting around it. One was maskless, and they saw it was Joey. He glanced at another masked figure briefly, undoubtedly Frank, then turned back and smiled as Claudette smiled back. In addition to the masked masked man, there were the two girls.

One had long purple hair that spilled from her hoodie. The other had hair that was obviously short, as nothing was visible outside of her hood, but even in the light jacket, the outline of her breasts underneath indicated her gender. She knew Joey's first name, and knew the other male Legion member was Morrison, but had no idea of the names of the two girls.

While Joey's eyes were welcoming, the masked, blank faces of the other members of Legion that were facing Claudette and Amanda were decidedly not. Amanda could almost feel the hostility radiating off of them. They were outsiders who did not belong here without a trial, the silent, judgemental masks seemed to suggest. They were only to be slaughtered. Get out.

The man Amanda knew was Frank turned his mask from them to look at Joey. In a deep voice, he said, "She's here now. Do what you insisted to us you HAD to do, and be grateful." His tone was highly resentful. In addition to the hostile feeling generated their way from his mask, the tone of his voice further proved that he wasn't in favor of this at all, and would remain against it long after it was over and they had left.

Amanda read him with her eyes. He obviously ran things with an iron fist, and wanted to be in control over EVERYTHING. She'd dated a few guys when younger with the exact same mindset. They'd also been hitters, and she briefly grimaced. This was a man who commanded loyalty and fealty, who would bully and or break down anyone who dared go against his wishes. With a slight sense of revulsion, Amanda realized he was basically a Jim Jones or Charles Manson type. More like Manson, as while he had few followers, they were murderous on his command. Jones had only made one command for murders, and mostly had just wanted his hundreds of followers to die with him.

The major difference between those two evil people and the man currently sitting in front of her like an angry king would be the fact that Frank killed just as regularly as they did, unlike Manson, who had simply ordered it.

Amanda suddenly realized one of the things that had surprised her about Joey's note. She had assumed since there were two male and two female Legion members, that they were split off into couples. Thinking about it last night, she'd been confused at the thought of one of the two Legion girls now being single.

Now, hearing Frank speak and seeing the way he acted, she felt pretty certain that if sex took place in the Legion camp, Frank had claimed both of its female members for himself, and Joey was likely left with his hand. He'd developed an attraction to Claudette as, among other reasons, Frank wouldn't have his hooks into her. She kept her face blank, but already she despised the fucker.

Joey and Frank were staring each other down. As Amanda watched, she felt her initial thinking was absolutely right. There had obviously been a number of unseen arguments leading up to the "date," but Joey had finally refused to cave. Frank had apparently given up, but still seemed highly pissed about it.

Joey had taken Claudette's hand and quickly walked into the trees, seemingly before Frank could make Claudette feel any more unwelcome than he already had...Or simply before Frank could try to change his mind again. Claudette kept glancing over her shoulder to Amanda, asking with her eyes, 'Are you ok?' Feeling the light, but reassuring weight of the blade on her wrist, Amanda gave her a slight nod. She'd be ok. Go have fun.

And after a few more steps, Joey and Claudette disappeared from her line of vision, and Amanda was alone with the three resentful psychopaths. They'd watched Joey with apparent hostility until he disappeared from view, and then Amanda watched the three masks turn to threateningly stare at her. Her heartbeat slightly increased in speed, but she remained poker faced, sitting on the bare dirt and leaning her back against the log Joey had been sitting on.

Fuck these pricks. I'm not scared. She stretched her legs out, seemingly enjoying the small, relaxing fire like she was about to roast marshmallows during a camping trip, instead of sharing space with three people who definitely wanted her gone. Let them stare. If anything was to happen, the first move was theirs.
