Chapter 34

Olivia neatly folded and placed clothes inside her suitcase. She chuckled as Fitz tossed them out, throwing them on the bed, smirking, "you don't need clothes for the honeymoon."

"Baby we'll have to leave the bed at some point. We can't have sex all day." Olivia whined, placing the clothes back inside the suitcase.

"It's our honeymoon. We're fucking day and night." Fitz stated, smacking her ass.

Olivia chuckled. "You're so nasty, Fitzgerald Grant."

He twirled her around in his arms. "Mrs. Grant, you married me, so what does that make you?"

Olivia threw her head back and laughed. "I guess just as nasty as you."

"Exactly." Fitz said.

Olivia walked into the bathroom and grabbed her lotion, perfume, and deodorant off the counter. When she returned, she noticed a red satin bag sitting on top of her clothes inside the suitcase. She quickly opened it and looked inside. "Oh my." She grinned.

Fitz snaked his hands around her waist.

"Baby, what's all this?" Olivia asked.

"I thought we could explore each other a little bit on the honeymoon."

Olivia pulled out the purple vibrator from the bag and pressed the 'on' button, glancing back at Fitz. It swirled in her hands and she grinned. Curiosity set in and she dumped all of the items out of the bag. Her eyes zoned in on the vibrating cock ring. "What's this for?" She inquired.

He lifted the package and placed his mouth next to her ear, "it goes around my dick and vibrates on your clit when I'm inside you."

"Oh. This one…I definitely want to try this one." Olivia smiled, turning in his arms.

"Sweetheart, we're trying everything in this bag," Fitz said.

Olivia giggled. "Good, because I plan on having my way with you, Mr. Grant."

Fitz smiled. "I can't wait, Mrs. Grant."

Olivia rubbed her eyes as the wheels of the private jet landed on the runway. They had been up most of the night, enjoying their first night as husband and wife. She'd slept most of the plane ride and from the looks of it, Fitz had done the same. Fitz still had not told her the location of the honeymoon. She stretched her eyes and glanced out the small airplane window, looking for clues of the location, but she came up short.

Fitz awakened and pointed to the overhead speaker. "Listen, baby."

"Welcome to Aruba, Mr. and Mrs. Grant." The pilot announced.

Olivia's smile broadened. "We're in Aruba?"

"Yup!" He said, linking his fingers with hers. "Are you ready, Mrs. Grant?"

"Absolutely, Mr. Grant."

Olivia's eyes widened as the black stretch limo curved around the bend, leading to an enormous peach and white painted mansion. When the limo stopped, Fitz placed his aviator sunglasses over his eyes and stepped out of the limo. He walked over to Olivia's side and held out his hand to her.

"Welcome home, Mr. Grant." A gentleman dressed in a white linen shirt and a pair of black slacks stated, shaking Fitz's hand.

"Welcome home." Olivia whispered, turning to Fitz.

Fitz smiled and remained silent.

They followed the man inside the home and were welcomed by two additional staff members with silver trays, holding white washcloths to clean their hands and a glass of champagne. They wiped their hands and guzzled the champagne down in one gulp. Fitz linked his fingers with Olivia's and slowly pulled her through the large white French doors. Twirling her in his arms, she fell flush against his chest. "This is our home away from home." He said.

"Wait…what?" She looked around. "This is ours?"

He kissed the bridge of her nose. "It's ours, baby."

"Oh…My…God…Fitz." Olivia squealed, jumping up and down. "You bought this house, when…how?"

"Never ask how I do things, beautiful. It's your wedding gift from me."

"It's beautiful, Fitz. Thank you."

"Anything for you." He said, placing his hand on her lower back as they strode through the home looking in each room. It was exactly how the pictures looked on the website. His uncle Peter had found the home and shared the details with him.

"I figured you could host your next girl's trip here." Fitz said, taking an apple off the kitchen counter, biting into it.

"How did I get so lucky?" She asked.

"No, I'm the lucky one." Fitz said, walking to her. "Liv, I brought so much unnecessary baggage to your life. You could have walked away from me and this relationship, but you didn't. Words can't express how much I love you."

"Fitz let's not dwell on the past. This is our new beginning." Olivia dangled her left hand, displaying her wedding ring. "We're married and I'm Mrs. Grant, despite the daggers from your father."

He leaned over and kissed her forehead.

Olivia turned on her heels and walked through every room, admiring the beautifully painted pastel walls. The furniture was a mix of modern and old-world charm. She stepped inside the bedroom and smiled. The view was amazing. Floor-to-ceiling windows gave a breathtaking view of the beach. She imagined making love to Fitz and watching the sunset. She couldn't wait to get their honeymoon started. Olivia hurried out of the room and bumped into the gentleman who was outside. "Oh, I'm sorry."

"No worries, Mrs. Grant. I'm Rufus, your butler. My job is to make sure all of your desires are met during your stay. What is your first request?"

"Nice to meet you Rufus." Olivia said, extending her hand, shaking his. "I would love one of those fruity drinks with an umbrella."

Rufus chuckled. "How about a Pina Colada?"

"Yes, that sounds wonderful."

Olivia toed off her sandals and sat on the bed, watching the waves crash into each other. She was lost in her thoughts and didn't hear Rufus enter the room.

Rufus cleared his throat, handing her the Pina Colada. "For you, madam."

Olivia took a few sips through the red-colored straw, "this is sooooo good. Thank you."

"My pleasure." Rufus said, leaving the room.

Fitz leaned his shoulder against the door frame of the bedroom and admired his wife. She was beautiful and his heart skipped a beat. He watched as she sipped her drink, and leaned her head back in satisfaction. Her back was exposed and he imagined planting soft kisses up and down her spine. He slowly walked to her and tickled her lower back, joining her on the bed. "Do you want to go for a swim?" He asked.

She rested her head on his shoulder and slid her hand across his shorts, lingering her fingers at his crotch.

"Can we do more than swim?"

"Possibly." He said, standing and walking to his suitcase.

Her eyes roamed down his broad back when he tossed his shirt on the floor. He flexed and stretched his arms in the air before dropping his shorts to the floor, exposing his naked ass. It was nicely toned. Her clit throbbed and her nipples hardened when he turned and she got a glimpse of his semi-erect dick. There was no denying she wanted him and apparently his thoughts were the same. Sashaying to her suitcase, she found the purple rhinestone bathing suit and slipped it on.

His mouth hung open as she twirled in her bikini, "you look…wow…baby…you look amazing."

"Thank you, my love." She blushed. "Ready?"

He nodded.

Rufus knocked on the bedroom door. "Sir, I'm preparing dinner. Are there any special requests?"

"I need some alone time with my wife." He answered.

"Understandable. I'll alert the staff not to disturb you." He said, backing out the doorway, closing the door.

"Thank you." Fitz said, following Olivia to the private infinity pool.

She waded to him, running her hands up and down his naked chest. He captured her lips immediately, moving backward until his back hit the wall. His hands moved up and down her body, releasing the skinny strap of her purple bikini top. The sun shone brightly on her darkened nipple, inviting him to suck it. He wasted no time taking the hardened bud into his mouth, feasting on each one until Olivia purred in pleasure. Her hands found the band of his shorts and pushed them down. "Please, baby." She begged dryly, wrapping her delicate fingers around his hard length. He pushed her bikini bottoms down and turned her flush against the wall. Olivia placed her palms on the edge of the pool, preparing for the pleasure she desperately needed. Fitz didn't hesitate. He entered her forcefully and stroked until he felt her walls grip him tightly.

"Shit." He cursed at the tight and wet sensation.

Olivia leaned against the wall and spread her legs more, perching her ass out, meeting his strokes. Fitz was relentless in his strokes. She tried to watch the sunset, but the pleasure was too intense. "Slow, baby." She moaned, resting her neck on his shoulder, wrapping her arm around his neck.

He slowed his strokes and dipped his fingers in and out of the water, pouring small droplets on her back. Fitz leaned his chest against her back and whispered. "We're making love to a sunset."

She nodded, unable to answer.

He picked up his pace, swishing water around, creating waves throughout the pool.

"Fuck…shit…yes…Liv." He groaned.

"Yes…baby…yes…" Olivia cried out.

He grabbed her braided ponytail, bringing her neck toward his lips, sucking at her flesh, releasing his seed inside her. He slowly pulled out and dipped his head under the water, cooling off.

He emerged from the water and Olivia passionately kissed him. "I love you."

"Love you too."

"Shower." Olivia asked, grabbing her bathing suit as it floated across the water.

"Ok. No funny business Mrs. Grant."

Olivia laughed and stepped out of the pool, naked, tossing her bathing suit over her shoulder.

Fitz smiled as he watched the silhouette of his naked wife exit the pool and walk inside the house. He fell back in the water as the blood rushed straight to his dick.

After they showered, the exhaustion from traveling set in and they drifted off to sleep. Fitz draped his hand over to the nightstand, grabbing his phone as it buzzed. "Yes, hello." He answered groggily.

"Mr. Grant. The chef has prepared dinner for this evening. It's out on the balcony as requested." Rufus said.

"Give me a second," Fitz said, covering the bottom of the phone.

"Baby…Livvie…" Fitz whispered, kissing the top of her shoulder.

"Hmmm." She moaned.

"Dinner, are you hungry?"

She shook her head no.

"Rufus, can you leave the food on the stove. I'm so sorry we…"

Rufus interrupted, chuckling. "You're newlyweds, Mr. Grant. I understand."

Fitz clicked off the phone and nuzzled into Olivia falling back into a deep sleep.

Olivia's stomach growled as she walked to the bathroom reminding her that she missed dinner. She smiled when she returned to the room and saw Fitz sprawled across the mattress still in a deep sleep. She glanced at the alarm clock and it read 4:00 am. She tiptoed in the kitchen searching for something to eat. A note was left on the counter from Rufus.

Food is in the refrigerator.

She slid the silver top off the plate and her mouth watered at the sight of the contents on the plate. Steak, a baked potato, and asparagus. She placed the plate in the microwave for a few minutes and pulled it out when it beeped. She opened the balcony doors and sat at the small round table, digging her fork in the food, savoring every piece.

"There you are." She heard a deep baritone voice.

Her eyes immediately met his and she smiled at her husband. "I was hungry."

"I see." He said, joining her at the table.

"Do you want some?"

"Yeah." He said, picking up the fork from the table, pressing it inside the baked potato.

"It's beautiful out here." Olivia said, glancing up at the star-filled sky.

"Almost as beautiful as you." Fitz said.

Olivia stood and leaned across the table, pecking his lips.

Olivia rolled over on the mattress and realized the bed was empty. She stretched her arms in the air and yawned. When she stood, her legs felt like jelly and they ached. She stood at the edge of the bed and her thoughts drifted to the last few hours. After they had enjoyed their late-night dinner, Fitz had made love to her on the balcony, against the bedroom wall, and on the kitchen counter. She wrapped the white terry cloth robe around her skin and walked inside the bathroom, brushing her teeth and washing her face. She slid the balcony doors open and peaked her head out, looking for Fitz. His legs were stretched out on the lounge bed and a puff of smoke filled the air.

"Hey, baby." Olivia cooed, easing down on the soft cushion between his legs.

He blew a puff of smoke in the air and placed the cigar on the ashtray.

"Hey, sleeping beauty." He said, pecking her lower lip.

"What time is it?" Olivia yawned.

He twisted his wrist and looked at his watch. "Twelve."

"Why did you let me sleep so late? I had a whole day planned for us."

"Did it involve more sex?" He devilishly asked.

Olivia swatted him on the shoulder. "No…I can barely walk after this morning's multiple sessions."

"I needed you, babe."

Olivia ran her hand down his cheeks. "I know."

Fitz lifted the cigar from the ashtray and brought it to his lips. Olivia stopped him before he took a puff. "Baby, I wanna try."

"This?" He asked, tilting the cigar.

"I don't know, beautiful." He said.

"I thought I left my father in New York."

"Ok, hold it between your two fingers and slowly wrap your lips around the cigar. Similar to when you take me in your mouth." Fitz chuckled.

"Fitzzzzz." Olivia giggled.

He laughed. "What?"

Olivia positioned her lips around the cigar and looked at Fitz.

"Take a few short puffs and then blow out the smoke." He said.

Olivia took a few drags on the cigar and immediately coughed.

"Slow, Liv." He said. "Watch me."

He wrapped his lips around the cigar and took a long drag and eloquently blew out the smoke.

"Ok." She said taking the cigar in her fingers again and slowly taking a few puffs before blowing out the smoke.

"There you go." He said.

She did it a couple more times and realized it wasn't for her. She nuzzled into his chest, running her tongue over his soft exposed pink nipple. He moaned, adjusting his shorts as his dick began to swell. Olivia rubbed her hand up and down the outside of his shorts until she felt the familiar press of his erection. She sucked in her bottom lip and pulled on the band of his shirts, purring, "There's something else I want to wrap my lips around."

"Mmmmmm…. yeah." He swallowed hard, lifting his hips, and pushing down his shorts.

They started with a slow sensual kiss, increasing their desire for each other. Fitz's hands roamed her curves, pressing her ass deep against his erection. Olivia moaned as he dipped his calloused fingers in and out of her wet center. Her hips rotated on his fingers until her body buckled from her intense orgasm. She fell against his chest trying to catch her breath. Fitz attempted to lift her, needing to be inside her desperately. Olivia pecked his lips and whispered. "Not yet, baby." She scooted down on the lounge bed and wrapped her lips around his thick erection. A guttural sound escaped his lips as he watched her head bob up and down on him. She released him with a pop and quickly straddled his lap, sucking his thick length deep in her pussy. Fitz dropped his head in the crook of her neck, sucking at her flesh. He lifted his head from her neck and fell back against the soft pillows on the lounge bed. The sun beamed down on Olivia as she took control and rode him until he released deep inside her.

"Mmmmm…so good." Olivia moaned, continuing the movement of her hips.

Fitz flipped them over and continued stroking her pussy. Olivia wrapped her legs around his broad back, allowing him to go deeper. He sucked at her nipples, bringing the small buds in his mouth.

"Sir…" Fitz barely heard.

"Shit…fuck." Fitz cursed, slipping out of Olivia. Her eyes shot open when the fabric of her robe covered her skin.

He quickly found his shorts and slipped them on. Fitz attempted to calm his breathing as Rufus come into view. "Is this important?" Fitz asked.

"My apologies Mr. and Mrs. Grant." He said when he walked closer to where they were seated.

"Dinner will be on the private yacht this evening per your request. The limo will take you to the port for departure. Please be ready by 7 pm. Once again, I apologize." Rufus said.

"Thank you," Fitz said, dropping his head on Olivia's stomach.

She fingered his sweaty curls. "Next time, no butler."

Fitz chuckled. "Why? I'm sure this is not the first time he's seen a couple fucking."

"How long was he standing there?" Olivia asked.

Fitz shrugged. "I don't know, Livvie."

Olivia sighed.

"Baby." He said kissing her cheek, sliding the robe from her. "Let's finish what we started."

Olivia pecked his lips. "Mmmmmhmmmmm."

X

Olivia's heels clicked loudly across the marble floor as she quickly sprayed perfume on her neck and slipped on her jewelry. Fitz sat on the edge of the bed and glanced at his watch.

"Five minutes." Olivia smiled, looking over her shoulder. "It's your fault I'm running late."

"How?" He chuckled.

"Do it again…One more time…oh…I need…you." Olivia deepened her voice, mocking him.

Fitz laughed and walked toward her. "I can't help it if you're insatiable Mrs. Grant."

"Do not touch me, Fitz." Olivia smirked and put her hands out in front of her, blocking him from coming closer to her.

He chuckled and grabbed his crotch. "I'm hard to resist."

Olivia grinned. "If you don't stop, I'll be out of this dress in two minutes, instead of walking out the door."

He ran the tip of his fingers across her neck and kissed it. "Correction…I'll hike up this dress and fuck you against the wall." He said before walking out of the bedroom. Her clit throbbed and she felt the pool of fluid flow from her vagina and down her legs. She opted not to wear panties as a surprise for Fitz, now she'd second-guessed her choice. She quickly ran inside the bathroom and wiped the inside of her legs. She smiled at the thought of her husband and his profound effect on her. She heard him call her name and she jetted out of the bathroom, meeting him by the door.

The black stretch limo arrived at the small port and they exited the vehicle, walking toward the yacht. Fitz linked his fingers and guided her up the steps to the small round table. A white table cloth, gold china, and red rose petals adorned the table. The boat trailed across the waters while a five-course meal was served. After dinner, Olivia explored the yacht. She stood against the rail and looked down at the water as the yacht glided across it. Suddenly, she felt a pair of strong arms wrap around her waist.

"This feels like a dream." She said leaning into his chest.

"It's not. I'm real. Our love is real."

"You're the man I've always dreamed about but never believed existed."

He trailed his finger over her diamond ring. "The day I saw you in the airport. I knew you were going to be my wife."

Olivia smiled. "Did you? What made you think that?"

"I got this feeling deep inside, almost like butterflies when I saw you. It's hard to explain."

"I know what you mean," Olivia said, taking his hand in hers. "I feel the same way about you."

He kissed the side of her neck and held her in his arms, gleaming at the moonlight. He wished he could bottle this moment up as well, and keep it for the days when their relationship would be tested.

X

After 4 days of swimming, dining out, fun excursions, and touring Aruba, they decided to have a very low-key evening. Fitz loved being curled up against his wife. Naked. He closed the empty space that was between them, raking his fingers lazily up and down her arm. This was their last night in Aruba and he didn't want to waste a minute doing anything over the top. He knew once they returned to DC they had a mountain of responsibilities pertaining to the law firm and the school. The bedroom windows stood open and the sheer white curtains flowed back and forth from the quiet wind. In the distance, the waves from the ocean crashed into each other, creating a soothing sound. Olivia turned to Fitz and met his cerulean blue eyes, "I have a question." She asked.

"I'm listening."

"Fantasies, do you have any?" She asked.

He turned on his back and placed his hands behind his head, glancing up at the ceiling. "Let's see we fulfilled two of them."

"Really? Tell me." Olivia said, staring at his penis. As it rested against his leg, even flaccid it was a glorious size. She sucked in her bottom lip and softly moaned.

He looked in her direction and smiled. "Did I hear a moan?"

Olivia shook her head, trying to push down her desire for him.

He pulled her into his chest. "Remember when we had sex in the dressing room in Vegas?"

"Yeah. I still can't believe I did that."

He chuckled. "Sex in a public place was one of my fantasies."

"What was the other one?"

"Joining the mile-high club."

"Sex on a plane," Olivia said.

"Yeah. I do have one more, but I feel like my father ruined that one." He said, laying firmly on his stomach.

"Let me guess, making a sex tape." Olivia pecked his lips.

"Yes."

"I don't know, Fitz."

He shrugged. "It's fine my other two were fulfilled." He turned on his side and glared up at her. "Plus, I've been the only one who's ever graced this…" He groaned trailing his fingers down her legs, cupping her sex. "What are your fantasies, beautiful?"

"Don't laugh." Olivia shifted on the mattress. "Since I was a virgin for so long, I had time to think about all the things I wanted when I finally had sex. I watched a ton of porno, so I could learn what to do. I want one night where we do it nasty and rough, just like in the porno videos. Right before you finish, I want you to take out your dick and cum on my back." She answered nonchalantly like it wasn't going to affect every feeling inside him.

Blood rushed straight to his dick, causing it to stand at attention. Fitz cleared his throat. "Really? I can…we can definitely do that."

Olivia chuckled. "Mmmmm, I would like that."

"Anything else?"

"Roleplay. Let's meet at a bar and pretend we're strangers. You'll flirt with me and I'll do the same. Then you'll take me home and fuck me senseless."

His mouth hung open. "Where have you been hiding this sexy vixen?"

"She's always been here, Fitz." Olivia giggled and rolled on her stomach.

He lightly tapped her ass, "bring her out more often."

Olivia laughed. "I've always been the good girl. For once I would like to be a little bad. I'm married and I can do all of these nasty things with my husband." She said, tapping her finger on his nose.

"You damn right!" Fitz groaned.

He couldn't wait until they went home and started exploring some of her fantasies and maybe she would concede to his last fantasy. He had some planning to do.

X

Olivia vigorously flipped through the note cards while she sat in the back of the black stretched limo. Her nerves were getting the best of her. She took a few note cards in her hand and started fanning herself. She needed to calm down before her make-up began to run.

Fitz slid his hand over to her and linked his fingers with hers, "you've practiced this speech a thousand times, Liv. You're going to do fine."

"Baby I can't stumble over my words. I need to get this right. The mayor will be here. Everyone who is anyone in DC will be in attendance."

He took the note cards in his hand. "Give it a rest, baby."

She sighed, leaning her head back against the headrest. "I have to be twice as good to get half of what you have." She whispered, remembering the words from her father.

"What?" Fitz asked.

"I have to be twice as good to get half of what you have. It's something my father has always stressed to me. It's easy for you, Fitz."

"What are you talking about?"

"Fitz…I'm a black woman and all eyes will be on me tonight. If I mess this up, it will be a negative reflection that will follow me for the rest of my career."

Fitz sighed. "Liv, I'm sorry. You're an incredible woman. You deserve this. Don't doubt yourself."

He brought the back of her hand to his lips and kissed it. "I've never seen color with us and I'm sorry for being so blind."

"I appreciate that, baby."

"I got your back." He smiled. "Whatever you need."

"Thank you, baby."

The limo stopped and Olivia nervously stared out the window looking at the Pope Academy. She had settled on that name a few months ago, honoring her father. She'd spent many sleepless days and nights working on the grand opening for the school. She squeezed Fitz's hand. He turned to her and whispered, "I love you."

"Love you too."

Shaking her head and all of the negative thoughts that swirled around in her head, she stepped out of the limo with confidence. Her feet glided across the red carpet and she smiled as the photographers snapped photos of her. She paused when she heard a familiar voice call her name. It was Makayla.

"Hi, Olivia."

Olivia had a feeling Makayla might attend the grand opening. Invitations were sent to all of the local newspapers and news channels. She hadn't spoken or seen Makayla since she declined to be a bridesmaid. "Hi, Makayla." Olivia said with a slight smile.

"It's so good to see you." Makayla said. "You look amazing."

"Thank you. Are you working?" Olivia asked.

"Yeah." Makayla answered looking down at her shoes.

"Well, I need to get inside." Olivia said. Fitz smiled and placed his hand on the lower part of her back, ushering her inside.

"Olivia." Makayla called.

Olivia turned and looked over her shoulder.

"I was wondering if you had a moment to speak. I could use a quote for my article." Makayla said.

Olivia smiled and continued to walk inside.

Makayla's co-worker nudged her. "I thought you knew her. You said it would be an easy night for us."

"Hush, Molly. I'll get us a quote. I just have to do some schmoozing."

Olivia was in awe as she perused the gymnasium. The event planner had turned the school gymnasium into a beautiful ballroom. Round tables were covered with gold and purple linen representing the school colors. Tall calla lilies and roses cascaded out of glass vases adorning each table.

"Beautiful." Maya said.

"Olivia turned and hugged her mother. "Yes mom, it is."

"I love your dress." Olivia said as her mother turned and modeled her long flowing black dress.

"Your father bought it." Maya blushed.

Olivia smiled, glancing at her father talking to Fitz.

"How's married life?"

"It's wonderful, mom." Olivia smiled.

"Any talks about a grandbaby?" Maya asked.

"Not right now." Olivia said.

"It's cool. Her son is giving her a grandchild." Harrison said, moving closer to Olivia hugging her."

"Whatever." Olivia said, slightly tapping his shoulder.

"Hey, auntie's baby." Olivia said, rubbing Alyssa's belly.

Alyssa smiled.

"Nice setup." Harrison said. "I'm proud of you, Pope."

"Thank you."

"Where's hubby?" Harrison asked.

Olivia pointed in Fitz's direction and Harrison kissed Alyssa on the cheek before walking to Fitz.

"How's the pregnancy going?"

"It's going." Alyssa said.

"I know Harrison's in DC a lot more. Anytime you need a break from him, call me."

Alyssa nodded. "I will."

Emily walked up to Olivia and pulled on her arm. "I heard about the house in Aruba. Is it available for visitors?"

Olivia chuckled. "It depends."

"My brother will never allow me to stay there alone, but if I agree to bring his gorgeous wife with me, he won't say no." Emily said.

"In a couple of months, I'm sure I'll need a quick getaway." Olivia smiled.

"Cool." Emily said.

The event planner walked to Olivia and informed her the program was about to start. Olivia whizzed past Diana and Pearl hugging them on her way to sit next to Fitz at the reserved table. Olivia watched as the screen lit up with pictures that showed the construction of the school. It was her turn to speak.

Fitz held her hand and helped her up the steps to the stage. He gently kissed her cheek before letting her hand go. She reached the podium and took one last look at Fitz before starting her speech. The words rolled off her tongue and she didn't have to look down at her notecards. Her eyes roamed to the back of the gym as the door creaked open. She fumbled her words and lost her train of thought. It was Edison. She quickly shook her head, trying to focus. Her breathing hitched and her hands began to sweat. She looked at Fitz for support. He leaned forward and started whispering the words of the speech from the audience. She caught her breath and nodded as the words came back to her memory. When Olivia finished the speech, Fitz was on his feet, rushing to his wife. "What's wrong?" He asked as she guzzled down a glass of water.

"I saw Edison."

"Where?" Fitz asked, stretching his eyes, looking around the room.

"In the back of the room." Olivia answered.

Fitz looked toward the back of the gym and didn't see anyone. "I'll take care of it."

"Fitz don't make a scene."

He nodded and quickly walked away.

Olivia stood in her office, pacing. She watched as the newly hired teachers provided tours to the new parents and local dignitaries. She waved as they whizzed past and answered questions when needed. She stood in the doorway and waited for the next group. Edison rounded the corner and stumbled toward her. She took a few steps back, entering her office.

"What are you doing here?" Olivia asked as he came closer. He looked different. A thick beard covered his chin and his hair was in the shape of an afro.

"I came to see you. Congratulations." He said, waving his hand around, walking around the office.

She sniffed as he walked by her and plopped down in the chair facing her desk. He reeked of alcohol.

"Have you been drinking?" Olivia asked.

"Just a teeny bit." He chuckled, pulling out a small silver flask, setting it on her desk.

"This isn't like you. I've never seen you like this."

"I've always had you in my life. As a friend then as a lover. Now I have nothing." He shook his head. "This is my life now."

"Edison." Olivia whispered.

"You changed your number. Why?" He asked.

"Because you wouldn't stop calling me. I'm married."

His eyes glanced to the diamond ring on her finger. "You married him?" Edison questioned.

Olivia quickly withdrew her hand from the desk. "I did."

Edison stood and lifted the silver frame from her desk. It was a picture of Olivia and Fitz from their wedding day. He slammed the frame down on the desk, shattering the glass. Olivia jumped and stepped behind her desk.

Edison trailed his hand over the oak wood desk. "We used to be friends. Good friends, Olivia. Remember that?" He asked, staring at her.

Olivia swallowed hard. "Edison, you messed that up when you came to my graduation party and acted a fool." Olivia crossed her arms in front of her chest. "Do you remember that?"

"It was because you were with him."

Olivia huffed. "Nothing is going to change. I love my husband."

Edison groaned and took a swig from the silver flask on the desk. He dropped his head in his hands. "I need help, Olivia."

She felt a twinge of sadness rush over her. She could tell he wasn't in a good place. "Eddy, I don't know how I can help you." Olivia said, sitting in the chair next to him.

He looked at her when he heard the nickname she used to call him. "I can't seem to stop drinking. I lost my job, Livvie."

Olivia cringed at the nickname as it rolled off his lips. "Please don't call me that." She said standing. "Have you talked to anyone?"

He hung his head again. "No."

Olivia looked away, "Edison, I don't think it's a good idea for me to help you."

"Why?"

"Fitz wouldn't approve."

"Don't tell him. It'll be our little secret, ok." He said reaching his hand across to her, but she didn't embrace him.

"I can't." She said walking to the door as it swung open.

Fitz, Harrison, and Stephen walked inside the office.

"What's going on?" Fitz demanded.

"Nothing." Edison said, attempting to stand, falling back in the chair.

"This feels like de ja vu." Stephen said, pushing his arm in front of Fitz holding him back from Edison.

"What the hell?" Harrison asked. "Dude are you drunk?"

"He is." Olivia answered.

"Are you ok?" Fitz asked, swatting Stephen's hand out of the way, turning to Olivia.

"I'm fine."

"Did you drive here?" Harrison asked Edison.

"Yes." Edison slurred.

"I should arrest your ass for drunk driving." Harrison said.

"Harry, I don't think that's necessary, just make sure he gets home?"

Harrison cut his eyes to Olivia. "No. What I can do is make sure he has a comfortable night in a jail cell."

"You can't arrest me." Edison stood and stumbled, slightly pushing Harrison.

"I can and I will." Harrison said, sliding his suit jacket to the side, showcasing his badge and gun.

"You're a cop?"

"You ask too many questions. Let's go." Harrison said, linking his arm with Edison's trying to hold him up.

Olivia turned to her desk and scribbled on a piece of paper. "Harry, this is his address. Just take him home."

"You doing too much, sis." Harrison said, glancing at Olivia, then at Fitz. "I'll call for backup and have them take care of him. I can't leave Alyssa by herself."

Olivia nodded.

Olivia sat in the chair and looked at Fitz. "Edison is an alcoholic."

"Apparently." He said, sitting next to her.

"Part of me wonders if it's because of me."

"Because of you?" He shook his head. "Liv you can't be serious."

"Harrison had people beat him up. Since we broke up, he's been having a hard time."

Fitz raised his voice. "He brought that on himself."

Olivia took a deep breath and shrugged. "He asked me to help him."

"What did you say?"

"I said no."

He reached his hand over to hers, linking his fingers. "Olivia, he can't be a part of our life. I'm sure he has people in his life who can help him."

"I know, Fitz. I wouldn't do that to you…to us."

Fitz was silent as he watched his wife stare at the wall. He squeezed her hand knocking her out of her trance, before leaving the office.

The night winded down. Olivia had managed to say goodnight to the guests and keep it together for the remainder of the evening. She raked the broken glass from the picture frame, on her desk inside the garbage can. She slipped the picture out of the frame and placed it in her purse.

Fitz peeked his head inside the office. "Ready, Mrs. Grant."

"Yes." She smiled.

He reached out his hand and she slipped her fingers into his. "I love you, Fitz."

"I love you to." She said walking down the hallway. She stopped when they reached the seal of the school. It was a picture of the world with children all around it. She spun around in a circle and Fitz caught her in his arms. "I like to dream big but I'd never thought I would be the principal of my own school. Thank you, baby."

He smiled, cupping her cheeks, and kissing her. "I'm glad you're happy."

They walked outside and met Stephen and Abby on the steps.

"After party?" Abby chuckled.

"Yeah in my bed." Olivia said.

"You're a party pooper." Abby said. "What about you, Fitz?"

"I'll be in the bed with my wife doing husband and wife things." He answered.

Olivia smiled. "Abby did you see Makayla?"

"Um…yeah…why?"

"She said she needed a quote for her story. I wasn't going to do it at first, but I don't want to seem like a bitch. Do you know if she left?"

"Liv don't do the quote."

"Abby you're being childish. The article could be a good thing for the school."

"Or she could sabotage you and write a shitty article. She's not your friend Olivia."

"Good night Abigail." Olivia said, dipping her head inside the limo.

Soooooooo…..I know I said this was going to be the last chapter, but honestly, I'm not ready to say goodbye to them. I know the story has to end at some point but I have a few more milestones I want them to celebrate. Then we can say goodbye to our favorite couple. I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Does anyone feel sorry for Edison? Should Olivia blame herself for his downfall? Do you think Olivia should do the quote for Makayla? Olitz talked about fantasies. Fitz is gearing up to satisfy one of them in the next chapter. Check out my twitter account Sweetness04FJ for pictures of their new honeymoon house.
