Epilogue

Seventeen years later, I found myself and my two husbands back in our wolf forms once more. None of us had phased since about a year after the twins were born because there were no longer any threats. The Cullens had stayed away, just like they'd told us they would.

Apparently our peacetime was short to last though. A group of nomads had started making their way through the Olympic Peninsula just in prime time for our children to phase.

We all knew it would happen when both Elijah and Sam's son Levi had broke out with high fevers at the same time.

Sure enough, we were woken up in the middle of the night by a howl right outside our house, followed by another only a few minutes later.

Aurora came rushing into our room just as all three of us were climbing out of the bed.

"Daddy, what's going on?" Aurora asked Paul, rubbing her eyes.

"I'm going to need you to stay here with your brother and sister, alright princess? Mommy, Papa, and I have to go help Elijah and Levi." Paul told her.

She nodded and Paul kissed her head before we all took off out the door.

The three of us phased in like we'd never stopped.

"Damn that feels good." Paul said as soon as we were phased in.

"Dad?" We all heard Elijah say.

"We're all here, honey." I told him reassuringly.

"Mom, Papa?" He questioned.

"I'm here too." Jared replied.

I felt Sam phase in shortly after us.

"Levi, Elijah, are you alright?" Sam asked them quickly.

"Dad?"

"Uncle Sam?" I always laughed when my kids called my brother Uncle Sam.

"Yep. Your parents and I are going to show you guys the ropes. Elijah, Levi is your alpha, just like I was your parent's alpha." Sam explained to them.

I knew that the guys would have things handled so I decided I would leave them to it while I went back home to the rest of the kids.

"I think you guys have got this handled so I'm going to go back home to the kids. It'll be alright, honey. Your fathers and uncle will show you what to do." I said into the pack mind before phasing back out.

After putting my nightgown back on, I walked back inside the house where all three of my other children were waiting patiently in the living room.

"What was that about, mom?" Aurora asked worriedly.

"Is 'lijah okay, mama?" My 10-year-old daughter, Nyla, questioned.

"Your brother is just fine. You don't have to worry about him." I responded.

"Did he phase like you, Dad, and Papa used to tell us about?" My 15-year-old son Henry asked.

"Yes, baby. Both him and Levi did. Your Dad, Papa, and Uncle Sam are helping them right now but they'll be okay. I promise. It's their turn to be a pack, just like we did." I responded to my worried children.

"Does that mean there's vampires nearby?" Aurora looked at me with clear worry in her eyes.

"My sweet girl, I promise they'll be okay. Don't you remember all those times I told you guys about your fathers and uncles taking out the vampires? It's what the wolves are made for." I reassured them.

All three of them insisted on waiting up until our other three got home, just to be sure they were safe.

It was about 3am when Jared, Paul, and Elijah walked back inside, having clearly found the extra pair of shorts I'd set out for my son.

I walked over and wrapped my arms around my oldest son as he stood proudly.

"That was so awesome, mom!" He told me as I pulled away. "I've never felt so free and we can run so fast!"

"Our boy is a natural beta, babe. Made me proud." Jared said, clapping Elijah on the back happily.

"I always figured you'd take after your Papa." I told Elijah as I ruffled his hair.

"Are you okay 'Li?" Aurora questioned as she walked over to him quickly, checking him over for any signs of injury. She'd always been the worrier in the family, especially when it came to her twin.

"I'm fine, Ror. I swear. Better than fine, really." He promised her. "Wow this whole heightened sense of smell thing is no joke. It's clear as day to tell that Ror and Henry are Dad's and me and Ny are Papa's. I always thought you guys were joking when you said you could smell it."

I laughed. He was right, too.

"We always told you who fathered who, kid. Now you just know we weren't lying." Paul told him with a chuckle.

We had promised to tell them exactly who their biological father was if they'd ever asked and when they did, we didn't hold the information from them. Not that they ever cared anyways. Both Paul and Jared were their fathers no matter what and that's exactly how they saw things.

Even though Elijah and Aurora were biologically only half-siblings, they still had the most incredible twin-bond. They always seemed to know what the other was thinking at any given time.

I was so incredibly happy with my family and how my life turned out that I truly had no words that could possibly express it.

My husbands were my sweet and spice and now my kids were my all things nice and I wouldn't ever trade that for anything.

Fin.
