Horrors Of The Battleworld.

The Battleworld is a massive place, and while heroes and villains are fighting on several parts of it. Some of it still remains unexplored. That was, until a young woman arrived in the untouched part of Battleworld. Her name, was Yuri Kozukata. When she was still a child, Yuri and her family were involved in a car accident that killed her whole family, leaving Yuri the only survivor. But something changed in Yuri after that accident. She developed a Sixth Sense, allowing her to see ghosts. This would lead her in to getting involved with a lot of super natural horrors. Armed only with a special camera Obscura, that allowed her to stay alive through her many ordeals.

However, things to a major change as Yuri, like so many others, found herself pulled away from her world when the universes where forcefully merged. Now she found herself in an area she had never even heard of before. But despite that, Yuri could still feel that there were horrors hidden around the area, so she needed to keep her guard up. But her traveling made her both tired and worried. She was just walking around aimlessly, she needed a destination or she would just die out here. She was growing tired and her feet hurt.

She sat down by a boulder and removed her boots, and looked at her bare feet, which were starting to form bruises from all the walking She almost wished a ghost would show up, if only to break this tense silence... she got her wish when a loud roar was heard.

Yuri jumped as she looked up. But what she saw was not a ghost, but something else. It was a large, bipedal creature with a spiny, armored hide covering it's body. It's outer shell features a bright and vibrant colors. It was bright red, with black markings throughout. It honestly looked like some kind of dragon. But while dragons do exist in the world from where this creature comes from, it isn't a dragon itself. This, was a Rathalos. A male Flying Wyvern, and known as King of the Skies, a title it defends furiously. Rathalos are highly territorial monsters, and as such, are aggressive towards intruders. They will chase away or attempt to kill any monster which may pose a threat to their land. While hunting, Rathalos will stalk prey from the air before swooping in for the kill. Once they have successfully brought down their prey, they will carry it away to eat in private, safe from scavengers or other large monsters which might attempt to steal the kill.

Yuri may not know all this, but she didn't need a history lesson to know she should not be spotted by this creature. She didn't even have time to put her boots back on as she was forced to hide when the monster landed near her. The large beast had also been traveling for a long time and was growing agitated by the lack of prey or any suitable places to nest. It only landed to rest it's wings for a bit and even began grooming itself... but suddenly stopped when it began sniffing the air, causing Yuri to curse under her breath. Of course it just had to posses a good sense of smell. Th Rathalos began searching the area and found Yuri's boots, sniffing them once before it began tracking the source of the smell.

Yuri had to sneak from one hiding spot to the next, constantly struggling to stay out of sight. But a Rathalos was not easy to escape from and it knew she was nearby. Normally it wouldn't bother this much with someone as small as Yuri. But it was not only tired, it was starving and would eat any living creature it came across. It was getting closer and Yuri was slowly finding herself in a corner. The Rathalos was smelling around her hiding place, and Yuri could feel it's warm breath on her bare feet. It had found her.

With no other option Yuri held up her camera and took a picture. The flash hurt the Rahtalos' eyes just enough for it to back up a few steps and roar in anger. Yuri took this chance to run. No time to retrieve her boots, she had to get away from that monster. The Rathalos roars as it chased after her, not even needing to fly, as it was quickly catching up to her, showing it was surprisingly fast of it's size.

"No no no!" Yuri said as she struggled to stay one step ahead of the monster.

The Rathalos opened it's mouth, and Yuri threw herself to the side, avoiding it's jaws by mere inches. But doing this would cause her to slide down a hill and she fell of a ledge and in to small forest down below. Luckily her landing wasn't to hear, only hurting her a little bit. But she heard the Rathalos roar and she quickly backed up against a tree to stay out of sight as she could tell the Rathalos was scouting the area from above. All she had to do was remain motionless and not make a sound. She hoped the monster would just cut it's losses and move on.

But this proved easier said than done as she felt something and looked down to see bugs crawling over her feet, which slightly tickled. Something that wouldn't be a problem if she had her boots. To make it worse, they began crawling up her bare legs, making remaining hidden a lot more difficult. Still, Yuri couldn't shake the feeling that the Rathalos knew she was down there, but something was keeping it from coming down. And in the end, it did indeed cut it's losses and left.

Yuri let out a disgusted sound as she quickly brushed of the bugs which were about to crawl in to her clothes. She had survived an encounter with a monster, but now she was lost in a forest she had never been in before. And she could feel there was something wrong about it. Given even the monster didn't come down to find her. Something in this forest managed to keep the Rathalos away, and Yuri had no idea what that could be.

With no other choice, she had to keep moving. Her feet was getting cold from the wet ground, but she had to keep moving and find a way out of this forest before whatever was dangerous enough to drive away the Rathalos finds her. She walked for an hour and still didn't see anything. She leaned against a tree and sighed. Was this ever going to end? Suddenly she felt someone was coming. She looked and saw a woman with smooth black hair and red eyes walking towards her, with a creepy smile on her face.

"Who are you?" Yuri demanded while taking a step back.

The woman's smile did not go away "Oh, I am not someone special. But I am thirsty, so very thirsty".

Before Yuri could react, the woman grabbed her and pinned her against a tree. Yuri tried to break free but this woman was far to strong. Much stronger than she was, and now Yuri was really getting scared. The woman smelled her and moaned from the sent.

"You smell lovely, your blood must be delicious. And I am so thirsty" The woman said, revealing her fangs, she was a vampire.

"No! Don't!" Yuri pleaded but the woman forced her to expose her neck.

The woman gave her neck a long lick, before getting ready to sink her fangs in to the younger woman's neck... but just as her fangs made contact with Yuri's skin, a gun shot rang out and the vampire screeched in pain before turning in to dust. Yuri got the chance to catch her breath before looking up and saw another woman. But this woman was different. She looked really tough and was armed to the teeth.

"Close one. You ok little girl?" The Woman asked.

"I think so. Who are you?" Yuri asked, she may be Japanese but she could speak English well enough.

"The name is Elsa Bloodstone, world class monster hunter" The Woman named Elsa introduced herself.

Elsa Bloodstone is the second of her name, daughter of legendary Vampire Hunter Ulysses Bloodstone. Elsa possesses the ancient Bloodgem artifact, granting her superhuman capabilities and the ability to destroy any vampire foolish enough to drink her blood. She used a bullet that contained some of her blood to kill the vampire that was about to drink from Yuri.

"I am Yuri... Yuri Kozukata" Yuri introduced herself "Thank you for saving me".

"No worries kid, monster hunting is what I do. So take it your are lost?" Elsa asked.

"Yes. I have no idea where I am... I don't know if I'm even in Japan anymore" Yuri answered.

"You are right on that. This isn't Japan, it isn't even earth. We are in another world" Elsa said.

"Another world? I don't understand" Yuri admitted.

"I will try to explain things the best I can. But I doubt this is the best place for that. But I do suggest you stick with me if you wish to survive this place" Elsa said.

"After everything I've been through, I will not argue. And you already saved my life, so you are at least more trustworthy than anyone else I've met so far" Yuri said.

"Glad we have an understanding... still walking around barefoot in this place might not be the best move" Elsa said as she looked at Yuri's feet.

"I had no choice. A monster attacked me before I could put my boots back on" Yuri said.

"And I didn't bring any spare. Well guess you will have to use the shoes from that dead vampire" Elsa said as she points at the pile of dust that used to be the vampire woman, but her clothes still remained.

Yuri hated the idea of wearing a dead person's shoes, but it was either that or continue to walk around in this cold wet horror forest completely barefoot. So she reluctantly put on the vampire's shoes. With that she followed Elsa as they continued their trip through the haunted forest... and neither of them noticed several creatures stalking them from the distance.

They hadn't even had a taste of the horror this forest has to offer.

Alright to explain something. Yuri Kozukata is the main character from the Fatal Frame series. She is the central protagonist of the fifth game in the series, Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, she appears as an Assist Trophy. When summoned, she follows enemy fighters around with her Camera Obscura in the form of a reticle and takes pictures at set intervals. If an opponent is caught in the reticle and isn't in an invincibility state, the flash momentarily stuns the fighters, leaving them vulnerable, and gives them an effect that continues to damage the fighter, even after she disappears.

While she may not be playable, she is still a physical representation of Fatal Frame, which makes the series fair game to use in this story. I only draw the limit when it comes to Spirits. A Game Universe needs to have a character that physicly appears in the game, be it as playable or in Yuri's case, an assit trophy.

But if a Game World only shows up as Spirits, and does not make a physical appearance, like Resident Evil, then that world will not be in this story.

So in short, a game wold needs to be properly represented in Smash to make it in.
