Chapter 35

As they are flying on the plane, they arrive at an island and they are in awe at how beautiful it is. Lillie asks, "Ash? What is this place? It is so beautiful."

"This is Cero Island, a place where I met Mewtwo and Mew for the first time." Ash says, "Just follow me."

As they follow Ash into the forest, they can see a lot of Pokemon roaming around. Kristen says, "Oh boy...I have never seen a place like this before..."

"Yeah...look at all the Pokemon we can see here on this island...that sure is a lot of diversity." Gary says.

"Actually, the Pokemon are created through cloning machines." Ash says, causing the group to look at him in shock. "Well, Mewtwo itself is actually a clone Pokemon from Mew."

"Can you actually tell us the full story?" Adam asks, "It will be better if we know about it."

Ash says, "It was just after I got my Earth Badge, Misty, Brock, and I got an invitation to come here to this island."

"Wait, what?" Brock asks, "How come I didn't remember about that?"

Ash says, "Just let me finish and you'll know, Brock." He turns to the others again. "Mewtwo was actually the ones that wrote the letters as he wants to show that Pokemon created through Cloning is better than the originals, which is why he gathers a lot of trainers to take our Pokemon for cloning."

"Wait, what? So he manages to clone your Pokemon?" Delia asks in horror, and Ash says, "Yes, Mom."

As they arrive at a cave, Mewtwo and Mew are standing in front of them as Mewtwo says, "Humans, what are you doing here on this island?"

"It can talk?" Clemont asks with a shock, and Ash says, "He can. Mewtwo. Do you remember me? I am Ash Ketchum, and I am Arceus' chosen one."

Mewtwo looks at Ash and he nods, and for Mew, she starts to fly around Ash and showing her affection. "I can't believe that I am seeing Mew and Mewtwo...but they look different..."

"They are." Ash says, "Mewtwo, Mew. We are here since we have intel that Team Rocket is going to target you two for their evil deeds."

Mewtwo grunts and says, "That group again..."

"It sounds like Mewtwo knows Team Rocket?" Lusamine asks, and Ash says, "Of course he knows, after all. He was created to be Team Rocket's ultimate weapon, but after learning how he was used as a weapon, he gets angry and he manages to escape. That is how the whole thing about cloning our Pokemon happened."

"And you didn't finish the story, what happened in the end?" Lillie says to Ash, who gives a frown and says, "I tried to stop those two from fighting...but I was reckless...I just got caught into their attacks, and...I died."

"What? You died?" The group is shocked and Mewtwo says, "Indeed, that is the worst mistake I have ever committed. But he got revived because of the legend known as Pokemon's Tears."

"I think I have heard of it, Pokemon Tears are magical as they are capable of bringing back life." Lillie says, "But why didn't you tell me about this, Ash?"

"I just don't want you to worry." Ash says, "After that, Mewtwo erases all of our memories about the whole thing so that we won't be able to remember."

"But how were you able to remember?" Brock asks, and Ash says, "Remember the incident in Mt. Queena? That was when I met Giovanni for the first time."

"Why was he there?" Mohn asks, and Ash says, "It is obvious, he has found Mewtwo again and he tries to get back what belongs to him."

"And I am intended to do the same as well." The group freezes as they turn around, they see that Giovanni is standing in front of them with a Cyborg which has a half-robot mask on her face.

"It has been a while since our last meet, huh?" Giovanni says with a smirk, and Ash says, "How did you know this island? Nobody should know about this except me!"

"And it is a good thing that Hitomi manages to place a tracking device on your shirt." Giovanni says, "So I can reunite with the weapon our mine."

Mewtwo says, "Fool, if anything this boy teaches me, I am not anyone's weapon and you are not going to take me again."

Before anything happened, Mew has already transformed into a Pidgeot as it goes for the Gust, and Giovanni says, "I see you even have a Pidgeot to help you, Debbie, take care of the hindrances while I take care of Mewtwo."

"Yes, Boss." Just then, Debbie glows as it teleports in front of Ash, punching him in the face as he falls back.

"Ash! Are you okay?" Lillie asks, and Ash says, "It seems like this Cyborg is specialized in Psychic Type moves, we need to use our Dark Aura powers."

Then they start to attack Debbie with their own powers and Pokemon, but Debbie also sends out her Alakazam and Xatu as they are fighting along with her. At the same time, Mewtwo is staring at Giovanni and he says, "If you think I am the same Pokemon that you think I was, then you are wrong about that."

It uses Psystrike on Giovanni's Nidoqueen and Nidoking, causing both of them to faint instantly, Giovanni just smirks and says, "I see you are more powerful than before. It will be a pleasure to catch you with this kind of might. Dugtrio, use Tri Attack!"

Dugtrio uses the move as Mewtwo is now paralyzed because of the attack, but it uses Recover to heal itself and then goes for the Ice Beam, which knocks out Dugtrio. At the same time, Debbie manages to use Future Sight on the group, as they are now on the ground.

"Surprised? That is how great being a Cyborg is." Debbie says with a smile. "That way, my Psychic powers are much more powerful and you aren't going to beat me even I am outnumbered.

"Is that what you think so?" Ash asks as Pidgeot starts to transform it back into Mew, and Debbie says, "Even Mew is here, and I thought we are going to capture it back in the Tree of Beginning. Mew's power is going to be mine."

Just then, she teleports in front of Mew and she starts to take the power, Ash notices it and he says, "Pikachu, Thunderbolt! Don't let her get Mew's powers!"

Pikachu nods as he fires the attack at the Cyborg, causing her to back away a little. "I see you know what we are doing, but you won't be able to stop me like that."

Mew throws something at Lillie and Ash. For Lillie, she got a Z Crystal, and for Ash, he got a Mega Stone. Mew points at Mewtwo and then Ash, and Ash says, "I see, I got it."

Then Ash rushes towards Giovanni and he sends out Gabena, "Use Dazzling Gleam!" Ash yells as Gabena fires the attack on Giovanni's Rhyperior and Persian, who manage to dodge as fast as they can. Giovanni says, "Well if it isn't the Ketchum boy. Coming to stop my plans once again."

"That's right, we can stop you back in Unova and we can do it again." Ash says as he throws at Mewtwo, "Mewtwo, catch."

Mewtwo grabs the Mega Stone and Ash says, "Now, Mega Evolve!" Ash presses his Key Stone and Mewtwo starts to glow, it has become Mega Mewtwo X and Giovanni says, "I see you are capable of Mega Evolution, but that is not going to stop me. Rhyperior, Rock Wrecker! Persian! Hyper Beam!"

Both Pokemon are attacking at Mewtwo, who manages to set up a Barrier to block the attack, then it fires Aura Sphere, knocking out both Pokemon.

At the same time, Lillie is doing the Psychic Dance with Mew, and she yells, "Use Genisis Supernova!"

Mewtwo starts to create a lot of balls that form a circle, and then they start to spin around, forming the shape of the DNA, and then they fuse into a giant ball and it crashes on Debbie, who wasn't able to dodge the blast in time.

After the blast, Debbie is now a little broken as she rushes to Giovanni's side, "Boss, are you okay?"

Giovanni says, "Did you get the data?" Debbie nods and he clicks his tongue, "As much as I want to get Mewtwo back, but with the Mega Evolution and that Z Move, we have no means to win. We should retreat."

Debbie nods as they teleport away. Amber says, "They got away!"

"It will be fine, they aren't going to bother us for now." Ash says as he turns to Mewtwo, who returns to normal. Mew is now on the ground as Lillie says, "Mew's energy was taken, which means that they are going to have that Cyborg have powers of Mew..."

"But why didn't they take Mewtwo's?" Ruka asks, and Ash says, "Mewtwo has the same DNA as Mew, but much stronger as it is his clone. If Giovanni can create Mewtwo in the past, there is no doubt that he can create Mewtwo's powers."

Lusamine says, "Which means that it is not going to be well for us."

Mewtwo says, "Ash Ketchum, what did you do to me and how did I get powerful all of a sudden?"

Ash says, "That is Mega Evolution, a technique discovered in the Kalos Region so that you will be able to get stronger. It is only a temporary evolution, but it also requires a close bond with trainer and Pokemon."

"If that's the case, I will be glad to be your Pokemon instead of Team Rocket." Mewtwo says, causing the others to gasp, Ash asks, "Are you sure? You despise humans and are you sure you are going to come with me?"

"If that means stopping Team Rocket, then I am willing to join." Mewtwo says. Ash nods as he takes out two more Cherish Balls and captures Mewtwo and Mew at the same time.

Back on the ship, Amber says, "Debbie has mentioned about Mew being in Rota Kingdom, what does she mean by that?"

Red says, "That is actually where Mew used to live. Mohn and I are actually from the Rota Kingdom, and Mew is the one that gave us the Aura Powers. Mew lives in a place known as the Tree of Beginning, a place that is dangerous to go to because of its defense mechanism."

"I think I remember about those blood cell-like things." Brock says with a shiver. "I never wanted to think about it again."

"Well, that won't be affecting Pokemon and Aura Users, but for other people, they would be thought of as germs and those blood cells would kill you." Mohn says as Kristen says, "That doesn't sound like a place I want to go."

"And it is a good thing we don't need to go there since Mew is now with us." Lillie says as they watch over Mew, who is resting beside the three Legendary Birds.

"So what is next?" Amber asks, and Wade says, "We are going back to the RPA Company, even though we may have the best doctors, but we don't have enough space if we failed to help another Legendary Pokemon."

"Wade is right." Gina says, "And with Giovanni being injured by Mewtwo, we can make sure that he won't be trying to do anything until he recovers."

The others nod as they quickly fly back to the RPA Company in the Galar Region.

Here is a new chapter, and in this chapter, I add Mew and Mewtwo's story and how Giovanni appears to catch Mewtwo again. I hope you like it and the next chapter will be about plans.
