Paw Patrol X: The Hearts of Truth
Season two Episode fifteen: Flare's Birthday
Nathan Sharp's cover of the Overlord opening theme played with Charm's eyes opening after a transition of sorts. Flare was then shown to be blocking a punch from Trickery as Nathan Sharp was heard singing. "Can someone give me the (Flare kicks at Trickery, who dodges the kick with ease) a-answer, (Marshall is shown to be tending to a wound Skye gained in the fight) to my (Richie is shown to be shooting at Charm, who dodges the bullets with ease) que-estion? (Chase is shown to be taking out some robots with Snow beside her) Where's my (Rocky and Everest smash a robot's head into the ground with full force) soul?"
A stream of grass was shown as the words Paw Patrol appeared on the screen from gun shots going though them, followed up by the X being made with two sword slashes as the music continued. The Hearts of Truth then appeared through a blazing flame going across them with the Paw Patrol then shown, leading up to Flare giving a peace sign as the song continued with the lyrics coming back.
Flare was shown to be gaining some kind of dark power during his battle with Trickery. "It's like a virus in my body (Flare dashes at Trickery and grabs his neck) while I'm (Flare starts choking Trickery, who likes the feel of the moment, disgusting Flare) dreaming. (Marshall finishes tending to Skye's wound and gives her a thumbs up) When I wake up, all that's (Marshall scratches his head and laughs innocently as he looks at the screen with his eyes closed) left of me are bones."
Richie was shown regaining his balance after a brutal kick from Charm as the song continued. "I'm in a panic! (Richie dashes at Charm and aims a punch at him) Get out, (Charm grabs Richie's fist with Richie trying to knee him but failing) hurry. (Chase throws a soldier at Snow with full force) Oh there are mysteries, (Snow kicks the head of the soldier, knocking him out instantly) and many miseries. (Rocky is seen roundhouse kicking a soldier to the floor) Dead of alive, I'm on the brink (Everest stomps on the soldier's face and kicks him aside brutally with a creepy smile) of self destruction."
Skye was watching the battle before grabbing a gun and aiming it at some soldiers "As I'm (Skye starts shooting the soldiers, catching the others attention) roaming, (Rubble gives a thumbs up to Skye) from left to right to (Skye smiles in response to Rubble's gesture) An invitation, (Zuma is shown to be casually using a soldier as a pinata) to come disappear . (Flare knocks Trickery to the ground and glares at him furiously) We're dancing one, two, three steps (Flare snaps out of his trance and grabs his head, gaining an immense headache) on this dark stage."
Charm was rising up in an elevator as he looked at all of the destruction he was causing in certain towns and cities. "Raise your flag, march and fight. Break your mask and show some pride! (Charm takes out a soda can and takes a sip with a proud smile) While this war just sends a shiver down my crooked spine. (Charm is shown to be speaking about the future) Wars and swords, tears and blood. Feel my heart begin to race. (Charm chuckles devilishly as he gives an evil grin) As I laugh through this bloodbath we've made!" Charm is shown to be in Flare's nightmare, waking him up and giving him anxiety.
Richie was shown to be having some kind of demonic surge in his body that he tried to fight back "Can someone give me the (Rocky is shown to be trying to get to Richie with Marshall holding him back) a-answer, to my (Flare rushes over to Richie without warning once he sees that he starts turning evil) que-estion? (Flare hugs Richie, who smiles upon his gesture, only to suddenly go crazy again without warning) Where's my soul? Where's my heart? (Richie's body heats up and ends up sending Flare back, sending him into a tree) Am I losing my own self?"
Rocky was shown looking at his sword in some sort of bus, seeming to be on edge about how the mission went. "Don't you hesitate, go this way-ay-ay. (Flare looks over at Rocky, seeing that he's feeling down about something) I don't know. And I don't care. (Flare puts his paw on Rocky's shoulder to comfort him with a smile) Tell me, are you not entertained now?"
Richie was fighting back against his demons in his mind with his power as he slashed at his demonic side with his sword "I'll just keep (Richie's demonic side grabs his sword and crushes it) surviving, (Richie kicks his demonic side, sending it back with full force) I just cannot hide it all. (Rocky is looking at a picture of him and Richie with sadness surrounding him) I am not to fall a victim, (Rocky punches the wall out of rage and sadness) I'll continue living in this, (Zuma puts a paw on Rocky's shoulder, who starts cring and hugs him) misery driven (Zuma pats Rocky's back, knowing he's going through a hard time) world!" Flare was sitting under a tree as he thought about Richie with Snow walking up to him to see how he was doing. Flare clenched his fists with confidence that they could save Richie as the song ended with Paw Patrol X: The Hearts of Truth being shown above him.
Skye was currently decorating the living room for Flare's birthday party, since he was turning eight years old today. They'd already gotten a lot done in terms of the decorations, managing to cover the entire living room and even having a good amount of the banquet set out. Snow got a good look at it all when she came in with her present for Flare, being impressed by how far Skye was going with this. "Wow Skye. You really know how to set up a party, don't you."
"My friends deserve the best, and I give them the best!" Skye exclaimed, and then she finished putting up the banner before sliding down the ladder and asking Skye about something. "How's distracting Flare going? I know it's not that hard, but it's still worth looking into."
"Chase and Marshall made extra sure to give Flare lots to do while we set up the party." Snow explained, and then she giggled a bit as she thought about that phrasing. "Or I should say YOU set it up and I make sure you don't cover everything in pink glitter." Skye rolled her eyes while smiling and continued setting up as Snow mentioned one of the things Chase and Marshall had in mind. "They started by taking him to Mr. Porter's for lunch. Did you know that he recently added in the feature of allowing customers to watch the food be made right in front of them?"
Skye was surprised by that, knowing that someone like Flare would love it, and that she would as well. "Sounds like you guys already have an idea on how to distract me for MY next birthday."
"Yes, because we're planning your party four months in advance." Snow deadpanned, and then she asked where the gift table was so she could set her food down. "Where can I set my gift for Flare down by the way?"
"The gift table is by the Tv." Skye informed Snow, who walked over to it and set the gift down next to Zuma's, and then saw that everyone else had their gifts set for Flare. Snow smiled, glad to see that Flare was getting the surprise birthday party that someone like him deserved to get. She just hoped he wouldn't think too deeply about what future events may bring for the party.
Flare was at Mr. Porter's as Marshall and Chase sat with him while the pizza they ordered was being made. Even though he'd seen pizza being made before, the fact that he was able to see it be done by a real chef was something that amazed him. Chase and Marshall could tell that Flare was impressed with Flare then realizing something as he looked at the two of them. "Hang on. Won't our day in town together slow down our training?"
"It's worth spending time with my little brother on his birthday, isn't it?" Marshall asked, and Flare couldn't argue with that, continuing to watch as he saw Mr. Porter putting the sauce on the pizza and was about to ask something with Marshall chiming in. "No, you can't lick the ladle."
Flare closed his mouth and watched the toppings go on the pizza as Mr. Porter then put the pizza in the oven, revealing it to be bacon mushroom, Flare's favorite, as Chase spoke up about it. "Something tells me you're gonna own a restaurant someday Flare."
Flare thought about what Chase said there, wondering what a restaurant he owned would be called. "What do you think I'd call it?"
Chase shrugged as Marshall put a paw on his younger brother's shoulder and spoke up about the situation. "I know what you're probably thinking about Flare. What'll happen in the final battle thanks to today? Well I think if we take the time to really give it our all in the battle, all of the training we've done so far will be worth it. Besides, if you train all day and don't have fun, there's no point to it. There's always a way to balance them out."
"I know that. I just don't want my birthday to overshadow the important stuff." Chase took notice to this, amazed that someone of Flare's age was mature enough to put his birthday behind really important stuff like saving the world. Though, he also found it kind of sad that Flare felt the need to do so. After all, his birthday still mattered.
Zuma was currently doing some yoga in his pup house with Runt opening the door after knocking a bit and catching him in a Downward Dog pose. Zuma took notice to this and cut a quick, but loud, fart that let out a green cloud of coconut milk (PHHT), making him fall onto his face as he then got up with Runt speaking while trying to hold back his urge to whiff Zuma's fart. "Am I interrupting?"
"No, just doing some yoga before Flawe's party." Zuma explained, and then he exited his pup house and wondered what he should do now. "Though, I was admittedly getting ready to do something else. You wanna hang out?"
"Yeah, I could use someone to hang with right now." Runt admitted, not really having much to do as he walked off with Zuma, asking him a question regarding Flare. "So, I think you'll have noticed that I don't really like Flare that much. Though, I don't work well with children, as you can already tell."
Zuma laughed a bit, looking back on that day Runt babysat for a family. "Yeah, no kidding dude. I still remember when you took up that babysitting job. You were pwactically in a ball when we came ot pick you up."
Zuma snickered a bit with Runt looking back on that day in horror, hoping to never have to live a terrible day like that again. "Don't remind me. Hopefully Flare becomes an exception to me not working with them."
"Yeah. Flare would definitely fit for that." Zuma responded, looking around to see what the two of them could do together.
Rocky, Rubble, and Everest were behind the lookout with Rocky looking at some blueprints while explaining the plan. The plans were pretty straightforward: To put a hospital on the side of the Lookout that currently didn't have any rooms next to it. As he got a good look at the plans, he made sure the hospital was close to the kitchen, and right next to the living room, so everyone had proper food and entertainment. Everest was currently looking at her phone and showed it to Rocky, who was impressed by what she accomplished. "Let me know if you wanna scalp a baseball stadium."
Rocky saw that Everest was able to scalp one hundred thousand dollars worth of medical supplies, leaving Rocky to believe that she would be a useful member on the team for that alone, even if what she was doing was technically illegal. Rubble was currently bringing the support beams in his bulldozer, setting them down next to the lair and walking over to Rocky after he put them down. "I got the support beams for the medical facility Rocky. Why are we making one anyway, if you don't mind me asking?"
"It's for Zuma." Rocky admitted, leaving Rubble and Everest impressed with how far Rocky was going to please him. He then started getting sentimental as he explained what it was all about. "See, the last infiltration was the one we went on, and we ended up killing the leader of one of the bases Charm was holding captive, which led to Zuma feeling uncomfortable. I'm making this so he can help people without killing, so he can adapt to it naturally." Rocky then realized the possibility of Zuma never getting used to killing at all. "Assuming he does get used to it anyway."
Rubble had to respect that, seeing that Rocky was currently making an amazing boyfriend for Zuma. "Rocky my friend, if you weren't taken, I would kiss you right now for that alone." Rocky laughed a bit, knowing that Rubble was serious, but finding it kinda funny the way he came off of it. "Anyway, I'm gonna go get some more supplies, so you guys can do whatever you want until I get back, and then I'm thinking we can discuss how the building will begin. (Walks off) Good luck guys!"
Rubble went back into his bulldozer with Everest looking at Rocky as she felt they could take a break, since they didn't have to do anything right now. "Wanna get a smoothie?"
"Sure." Rocky and Everest headed back to the lookout, hoping they wouldn't disturb Skye and Snow with the party decorations.
As Rocky and Everest entered the lookout, they saw that Skye was just about done with the decorations of Flare's birthday party, and now she was working on the buffet again. Snow was helping her with that, setting down the food they were making while making sure their fur didn't get on it. While they were doing this, Rocky couldn't help but comment on it as he looked around. He knew Skye was crazy about birthday parties, but he didn't think she'd go this far for Flare. "Dang girl. And I thought you went all out for MY birthday party."
"Don't worry Rocky, I'll go above and beyond for your next birthday too." Skye assured Rocky, and then she made sure that everything tasted right and was at the right heat for eating. She didn't want anything about this birthday party, or any other birthday parties she was planning, to go to waste or have any flaws. "Oh, and if you have to fart during the party then use that machine over there." Skye pointed to a machine that specifically said it was for farting into. Rocky and Everest shrugged, heading into the kitchen to get the smoothies they came in for.
Flare, Marshall, and Chase were at the shooting range as Chase was currently helping Flare hold his gun properly for the shooting part. He made sure that Flare's arms were properly adjusted, and when he was aiming the gun properly, he made sure he knew what to do. "Fire." Flare did as advised and successfully hit the target. It wasn't a bullseye, but he got pretty close for a first timer. "Okay, that was pretty good. Most people don't get the bullseye on their first go anyway."
Flare was having a good time learning how to shoot, having an idea on how to deal with the bullseye. "Maybe I should view the bullseye as a pedophile."
"That might help." Chase responded with confusion, not knowing if a pedophile was going to be easier to get a dead shot on than a clear target.
Marshall was sitting back and watching as he gave Skye a call, wondering how the party was going as she was shown decorating Flare's cake on the other end. "Hey Skye. Chase and I took Flare to the shooting range. How's the party coming?"
"It's coming great Marshall." Skye assured Marshall, setting the cake on the table as she barely managed to balance it. After it was on the table, it was shown to be four layers of sugary goodness. "Do you think four layers will be enough?"
Marshall was surprised by how much Skye put into the cake, not sure if Flare would even be able to finish his first slice. Then again, it was Flare. "I think two layers would've been MORE than enough. Now you're just risking the chance of him getting diabetes."
Skye got a good look at the cake and scoffed, not believing that Flare would get diabetes from it. "Flare's WAY too healthy to get diabetes." Marshall saw that Flare was shooting the bullseye perfectly now and celebrating with Skye assuring him that the party would be a blast. "This is gonna be his favorite birthday party ever Marshall. Maybe even his favorite DAY ever."
"We'll have to see about that. Later Skye." After Skye said bye, Marshall hung up and saw Flare continuing to use the gun well, being proud of what he was doing. "He'll be one of our best members one day, no doubt about it."
Zuma and Runt were looking at pools online, finding that a good chunk of them were out of their personal budget. This made Zuma bummed out, as he was really hoping to be able to do some swimming outside of missions and when he went to the beach. "Dude, these pools are so expensive. Why's it costing so much to do some swimming at home?"
"If Rocky wasn't doing what he was doing then we'd be golden for this pool thing." Runt responded, hoping that this medical office was worth it. "This'd better be worth it. You know how hard it is to run an entire hospital?"
"No, but luckily for us it'll only be one woom." Zuma answered, hoping that he could repay Rocky for this someday. "I hope I can wepay Wocky for this someday. I can only imagine how much money HE'S putting into this thing."
Runt instantly had an idea for Zuma, feeling that he could use it if he ever had the money for it. "Well I know that Rocky loves recycling stuff and using it to make new things. Maybe you could add something like that to the Paw Patrol base sometime in the future." Zuma liked the sound of that with Runt taking notice to his tempted look and smiling in response. "Rocky really cares about you Zuma. Don't take that for granted, okay?"
Zuma looked at a picture of him and Rocky, glad that he had a boyfriend as supportive and caring as him. Although he'd never been in any kind of relationship prior to the one he's in now, he knew for a fact that he would have an amazing time in his relationship with Rocky. "I don't plan to."
Rocky and Everest were drinking their smoothies in the kitchen as the two of them talked about this hospital thing Rocky was working on. "So, about this little Paw Patrol hospital you have planned. Ryder's really willing to use a whole boatload of cash to build just one room for Zuma to work in?" Rocky's attention was caught by Everest's words as she then explained what she meant. "I mean, I know the team is small and all that, but what if the team gets bigger? We could risk having so many patients that we won't be able to fit them all in that one room."
Rocky knew that Everest was right, but he wasn't sure what he could do about it. He knew Ryder had a lot of savings, but building an entire hospital was a lot more expensive than building one emergancy room, obviously. He hoped that one day, they would have enough team members for more than one medic. "Well if the team gets bigger then we could hire more medics." Everest saw Rocky's point with the latter smiling as he finished his statement. "Maybe we could use that to our advantage."
Everest liked where Rocky was going with this, finding that hiring more medics would be more than helpful for the team. "Yeah, I like that. (Snickers a bit) Maybe Marshall and I can even make out on a patient's bed if one of them's cool enough to give us privacy." Rocky rolled his eyes while scoffing, finding that Everest's horniness had it's limits of being funny.
Skye was just about finished with Flare's party; or, she was finished about twenty minutes ago. Or an hour ago. Who knows by this point? It's Skye; she went crazy. Regardless of how long ago she started however, she was all finished with the preperations. The banquet, the gifts, the games, everything was ready for Flare's eighth birthday to truly mean something. Even the machine she had Rocky make for farting into was ready. It was definitely going to be a great day for Flare, and it would give everyone a well deserved break from training for the toughest battle of their lives.
Everyone was in position with Ryder coming down after finishing his gift for Flare, taking it over to the gift pile and setting it down next to Skye's gift for Flare. As he joined the others, he got a good look at the party decorations and found that Skye did a fantastic job with everything. "Another fantastic job Skye. (Gives Skye a thumbs up) You never let us down."
"Thanks Ryder." Skye noticed that Rocky was feeling a little down, and she knew what it was. "Richie will be here for Flare's next birthday. And he should be back in time for yours too."
Rocky smiled softly at the sound of that with Skye turning the light off and everyone got into position. As Flare, Marshall, and Chase entered the house, Chase and Marshall were currently discussing one of their favorite shows. "I'm just saying; Weed's gotten a lot softer since the previous series."
"Maybe, but if he has, I didn't notice it." Marshall admitted, having his own mindset on what they were talking about. "No parent wants their kid to be a murderer."
"Well you're right, but Masamune deserved to die, no matter who it was from." Chase stated, and then they noticed that the lights were off and gave a smirk to Flare and Marshall. "Hmm. Are those turned off lights?" Just as Skye was about to turn the light on, Chase's butt was shown with him still smirking as he looked at Flare and Marshall and cut a loud and bassy one minute fart, making his butt vibrate as he let out a yellow cloud of rotten eggs (PHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHT).
Chase's fart cleared out the entire first floor, making everyone struggle to hold their breath as Ryder turned the fart sucking fan on. Luckily the food was covered up by containers that couldn't be hit by noxious fumes, so it was all safe. As the gas cloud cleared and the fan turned off, Skye turned on the fan and allowed everyone to shout with glee. "Surprise! Happy birthday Flare!" Despite the fact that this came right before one of Chase's biggest gas passes ever, Flare was ecstatic to find that his friends felt celebrating his birthday was worth it at a time like this.
Flare and his friend were currently playing some party games with Flare being the first to play pin the tail on the donkey. Marshall had just finished spinning him around with Flare asking about that part of the game. "Why do we have to spin around for this anyway? I already have the blindfold on."
"I think it's to add some extra challenge to the game." Marshall answered, and then he stepped back and smiled as he spoke to Flare. "Go ahead Flare. Walk straight." Flare walked straight the best he could, and as he kept moving, he eventually walked into the wall. Marshall was worried for Flare, but thankfully, he wasn't hurt, to his brother's relief. He then stuck the tail on the mouth after waving his paw up for a few seconds, which then led to him taking his blindfold off. He was a little bummed out that he missed so hard, leaving Marshall to pat his back to cheer him up. "You'll get it next time buddy."
Rocky got a good look at the picture, having a good joke in mind that he felt Flare would like. "Well when you think about it, he wasn't too far off. At least in terms of the back end."
Some of the other pups started snickering with Flare being confused by what the joke meant. "I don't get it."
Flare and the others were by Flare's cake with Marshall lighting all eight candles with Flare being excited to blow them out and eat his cake. As Flare was about to blow out his candles, he then got an idea and opted out of it for now. "Wait! I wanna open my (Points to his presents) presents first."
"Really?" Marshall asked, wondering what Flare was up to with his desire to open gifts before blowing out his candles. "Why?"
"Well I don't know what I got, right?" Flare asked, and Marshall nodded his head yes in response, still being a bit confused as to what he was getting at. "Well if I don't get what I want, then I can make a wish with the candles, and I can get what I want through that!"
Marshall thought for a moment and felt that Flare was in charge of when he did what. "Yeah, that's actually a good idea. Let's do it."
Flare and the others went over to his presents with Skye blowing the candles out to keep them from melting before joining them. Flare took notice tot his and had a joke in mind that he knew he would get. "I wasn't aware I had a twin." Skye and Marshall laughed a bit at the joke with Rubble snickering a bit himself before Flare spoke up. "Alright, now let's open up presents!"
The first present Flare got was from Rocky, who had a good feeling that the former would like what he got for him. When Flare opened it up, it was revealed to be Flare's very own tool kit, one that was a lot like Rocky's, but a bit more fit for single digit aged kids like himself. Even though he was a dog, but whatever. It got Flare's tail wagging in a happy enough way to satisfy Rocky. "I know how much you like messing around with my tools, so I thought I'd get you some of your own. Maybe you can learn how to make a car and get the ladies."
Flare set the tool kit aside to open the next gift, glad that Rocky go it for him. "Thanks Rocky. I wonder what I'll make with this first." Flare then accepted the next present, which was from Chase, and it turned out to be this video game that looked a lot like GTA. Flare was excpted to play this, showing the cover to Chase as he commented on it. "How to break the law in all the right ways."
Chase laughed a bit as Snow then handed Flare the gift she got him, and when Flare opened it up, it was revealed to be a power controller. Flare put it on and felt that he was in total control of his power, leaving Snow to comment on it as she walked over to him. "Just in case you go crazy and start going all rage fury punch on the baddies again."
"Thanks Snow. Let's hope it helps against Charm." Flare responded, and then Ryder handed him his present with Flare opening it up and being esctatic to find that it was his very own pup pad. "My own pup pad!? This is so super awesome!"
Flare instantly started getting a good look at the pup pad, finding that this was the best gift he'd gotten today yet. His excitement was thrilling to Ryder, who made sure to give the pup pad all of the latest updates that came with everyone else's pup pads. "I made sure it came with the latest up to date technology along with every update that came to the pup pad's since day one. It should run as smoothly as any other pup pad."
Flare hugged his pup pad a bit more as Marshall handed him his gift to finish the scene off with. "Since we don't have the time to show ALL the gifts we got you, I'll give you mine now."
Flare opened up the gift and found that it was a brand new gaming console, as well as a couple of the games that came with it. "A Babestation 5!? (Looks at Marshall with a wide smile as his tail wags) Thank you so much Marshall! How did you manage to get this!? They're like two thousand dollars on Scalpbay!"
"Oh, I managed to find someone who could help me." Marshall replied, laughing a bit at all the trouble he went through to get this thing.
Flare and the others were getting ready for Flare to blow out his candles as Marshall lit them once again. Flare then put his front paws on the table and got ready to blow out his candles; and we're not singing happy birthday because that song is cringe. Anyway, as Flare blew out the candles, it was revealed that Flare wanted an anthro bear that was wearing skinny jeans and a tank top while twerking like crazy. "Yeah! That's what I wanted baby; Candy! Stripper bear I saw on Tv!"
Flare started cheering with Marshall being baffled that someone like Flare would wish for such a thing. "Wait; this is what you wanted?" Flare nodded his head yes with Marshall sighing as he regretted the settings on the Tv. "I've gotta turn parental controls on that Tv for Flare's viewings."
As Flare was enjoying himself, Chase had a question in mind about Candy. "Wait. She's underage, right?"
Flare thought for a moment and wasn't quite sure if Candy was underage or not. "I honestly don't even know. I just saw her on Tv and wanted her here."
Runt was laughing on his end of the table, finding Flare's wish to be something hilarious from someone so innocent and cheerful. "Wow. How innapropriate for a child's birthday party."
"Well who cares? I got Candy. (Raises paws) Happy birthday to me!" And as Candy twerked, everyone continued to have a good time for Flare's eighth birthday party.
Everyone was done partying with Flare setting up his new pup pad, setting the background to his liking and downloading some cool game apps. As he was doing this, Marshall walked over to him and rubbed his head, seeing that he was happy with how his birthday went out. "You enjoy your birthday Flare?"
"Sure did. And I can't get enough of this new pup pad." Flare was so drawn to his pup pad that he couldn't look away from it for even a second. Well, that was partially because he was still getting a bunch of cool stuff on it, but still. "I'm so glad Ryder made this thing for me."
Flare then let out a yawn, indicating that he was starting to get tired, which led to Marshall chuckling a bit as he stood on his hind legs and picked him up. "Cmon buddy. Let's get you to bed."
"Five more minutes?" Flare asked as Marshall started walking, leaving Flare to yawn again as Marshall made sure that he didn't drop his pup pad. Flare was starting to get a little drowsy, but he still had a smile on his face, as he was more than grateful for the party his friends through for him, and also the day he had with Chase and Marshall before they got back to the lookout.
Dragon Ball Super Usubeni cover by Mark de Groot instrumental played during the credits as Flare was shown walking around the lookout as he thought about life. Flare looked up to the sky as he then thought about how he was going to help the team in the future. The music suddenly got more intense as Flare was then shown fighting off four members of the Waste's, seeming to have fun while doing it as he kicked one right in the face and made him fall back into another. The next shot showed Flare and the others witnessing Richie's in his demonic form as he looks in horror.
Richie glared at Flare, unable to contain himself as he and Flare started their battle once a male voice was heard singing. "Farewell, (Flare blocks Richie's kick, only to get sent into a tree) beautiful lover. (Flare dodges Richie's fire ball, not wanting to hurt him to an immense degree before saving him) I love you so, (Richie kicks Flare across the ground, hurting him immensely) but still I let you go. (Flare gets determined and charges at RIchie with full force) Under this pink sky is where we went our (Richie blocks Flare's kick and clenches his fist) seperate ways."
Flare regained his balance from getting send back and blocked three hell fire balls as the song continued "I want you to (Richie dashes up to Flare) know I love you, (Flare lands a punch on Richie after the latter grabs him by the neck, showing that he knews he has to figth back in order to save him) so I won't let you go. (Richie throws Flare to the side) I wish I had (Richie lands a solid flaming kick on Flare, who blocks it the best he can) said these words to you, (Flare is shown to be heavily wounded on the ground) But I have left all these words unspoken."
Flare thought about the promise he made to Rocky, refusing to let him down when he's so close now. "Like pink petals start to fall. From the blossom tree so tall. (Flare stands up and faces Richie, who shows respect in his refusal to give up) And they dance to a, bittersweet, melody." Flare and Richie went into their fighting stances as the two of them got ready to continue. An illustration of them in their stances was shown as the song ended.
