The Airship approached Beacon, Tiger got up and into the pilot seat, still crying she managed to land the Airship safely, opening the doors, right in front of her was Professor Ozpin, Qrow, Ray and Nell. She couldn't believe her friends were here to welcome her back but could she bring herself to tell them what had happened? She continued to sit in the pilot seat, her hands still on the stick, she started bawling her eyes out, in the back of the Airship Jade and Daisy were a mess just holding onto each other. Ray and Nell ran into the airship unable to wait for their friends to come out, they didn't know why they weren't coming out and when they got in all they could see was Daisy and Jade sitting against the wall holding each other crying.

They rushed to their friends aid, Nell stayed with Jade and Daisy trying to find out what happened, thinking perhaps another airship with the rest of the team was still on its way. Nell told Ray to check who was in the pilot seat as somebody would of had to land the airship, Ray had guessed what had happened, she feared the worst but was slightly relieved when she saw Tiger in the pilot seat but she was just crying like Jade and Daisy. She grabbed Tiger and basically had to drag her out of the seat and turning off the engines of the airship where she held Tiger asking what had happened. Professor Ozpin and Qrow entered the Airship to find Ray holding Tiger and Nell trying to get through to Jade and Daisy.

Professor Ozpin and Qrow looked at each other, they knew what happened instantly, Qrow slammed his fist into the wall of the airship, he had helped Austin become a Huntsman, he had trained with him for years, they weren't father and son but Qrow was his mentor and to find him having not returned made him angry. Not at Austin for not returning but he blamed himself for his death, he took a swig from his flask and sitting on one of the seats blaming himself and his luck. Professor Ozpin bowed his head, he knew he had to give them time but he had known at least one member died which was Eada as the next Fall Maiden had been revealed so he continued to remain silent out of honour and respect as everyone was starting to deal with the fact of what happened.

It took a couple of hours just to get the 3 survivors off the airship and into the infirmary at Beacon, the girls were checked for any physical wounds as Jade was also checked to see if she had anything unusual in her system, Tiger and Daisy were the talkers if you could call it that, they only told brief glimpses of what happened, giving them a rough idea of what had taken place. Jade was cleared as they were given some time alone to let their emotions out and grieve, Tiger told Professor Ozpin the mission was successful, they believed Dr. Merlot to be dead but they never found a body however Eada did mention he lost control of his own bomb so the evidence did match up.

It took a couple of days but eventually the three girls could give a detailed statement of how the mission went, what went wrong and how Eada, Austin and the Silver Eyed Warriors lost their lives, Professor Ozpin had sent a rescue team out to the lab's sight just in case there were any survivors but also just to confirm the lab was destroyed but he didn't mention that part to the girls, Team JDTE mostly stayed in their room, they had ventured out only a couple of times, one visit out of their dorm was into Vale where they ate at Nell and Ray's restaurant then had Ray and Nell to hang out with and try help them the best they could, the other time they left their dorm was when they all sat on the roof which was Austin's favourite spot at Beacon.

Tiger had given Jade Argenti Lustitia which she had on her when Austin gave it to her before picking up Jade as he carried her in his final moments, she had forgotten she had it attached to her belt but now it was something for Jade to treasure or even throw away. It reminded Jade of Austin, a bittersweet memory as she asked Daisy what she should do with it, Daisy couldn't answer that and wouldn't hold anything against Jade on what she did with it. She kept it by her bed for a couple of days before discussing it with Ray, Daisy, Nell and Tiger and ultimately they told Professor Ozpin that they wanted a memorial service for Austin and Eada, they could also put Argenti Lustitia on display being the weapon Austin used in the Vytal Festival.

Professor Ozpin had agreed and a few days later they had their memorial service, each remaining member of Team JADE and Team TGRN gave a heart warming story as they spoke at the memorial, a lot of people were in tears and Jade was the last talk. She told Beacon of who the real Austin was, Austin who would've had a happy life if luck went his way and stuck with his love for music, how Eada wouldn't of become the caring person everyone now remembered instead of the close minded spoilt Princess when she first arrived at Beacon. The friends also acknowledged Gretchen and how everyone between Team JADE and Team TGRN were close and like a family, to finish off the memorial Jade pulled the curtain open revealing Argenti Lustitia on display.

Austin and Eada's photo were put up in the memorial hall of Beacon right next to Gretchen, after the memorial the friends had gone back to Ray and Nell's restaurant, they each had a drink reminiscing the stories they shared, they had known each other almost two years but it felt like a lifetime, the amount of training, studying they had put in was tremendous however they all agreed it was worth it getting to know such great people. Yes they weren't around anymore but they weren't gone, they lived on in the hearts of Ray, Nell, Daisy, Tiger and Jade, maybe they'd never be known for the sacrifice against Salem but they were remembered as great students and Huntsman that ever attended Beacon.

Over the next couple of months life started flowing into a routine for each member. Ray and Nell's restaurant was going well and with some help from Tiger they expanded adding a bar to their restaurant which was run by Tiger, she went out for a couple of Huntsman missions a couple of times a month but they were short and more for escorting people to places and nothing full on like search and destroy. She also keeps her training up, teaching Ray and Nell in their spare time, not really to fight but to stay fit and keep their muscle up just in case they needed to throw someone out of the bar/restaurant, fitting into her busy schedule Tiger had been attending a class on mixology challenging herself to know how to mix every drink known to help the business with her friends.

Eada and Jade had traveled to Atlas, fulfilling Eada's last request of them, her parents had been at the memorial and they had a change of heart telling Remnant that their son had been found but sadly deceased stopping the lie so everyone could now move on, they also tracked down Crystal making sure to tell everyone the news, it was for Eada after all and they knew she wouldn't like them not giving the news to everyone, Jade and Daisy went on missions together, watching each others back and had the rule of both having to agree to the mission that was presented to them. It had worked well for the past couple of months, they had visited Vacuo, found the graves of Frank and Helena Avery and introduced themselves, talking to Austin's parents and added a 3rd headstone between them with Austin's name.

They then headed to Menagerie for a small vacation having explored each Kingdom in Remnant, the two girls looked at each other after a few days in Menagerie as they both simultaneously told each other that they miss home, the two laughed and when the laughter died down Jade got down on one knee, pulled out a ring and asked Daisy if she would marry her. Daisy broke out in tears and instantly screamed 'Yes!' multiple times holding her hand out as Jade put the ring on her finger, they hugged and kissed celebrating that night and planned to return home the next day. They arrived back in Vale, headed to Jade's parents flower shop where they surprised them returning early and gave them an even bigger surprise showing them the ring.

They celebrated with Jade's parents and later in the night they headed to Ray, Nell, and Tiger's Restaurant/Bar which was now called Eada and Gretchen's with Austin's pub. Walking in on closing time they found Tiger behind the bar wiping it down as Nell and Ray sat on a stool each having a drink after a hard days work. They couldn't believe it when Jade and Daisy came in early from their vacation as Tiger poured them both a drink, Jade winked at Daisy as she grabbed their drinks and handed Daisy hers to the hand with the ring on it. Daisy made sure everyone could see the ring as she took her first sip and the other three girls screamed with joy congratulating them and inspecting the ring as they celebrated Jade and Daisy's engagement.

A few years had passed, Eada and Gretchen's with Austin's pub had been doing so well that they were now establishing a hotel, Ray had found a boyfriend and had been going out for a year, the other girls had their own theory of when and how he was going to propose but she still put in hours at the restaurant/bar/hotel whichever you wanted to call it, Nell hadn't dated much, she was never the type of girl to really do so, she had put in some serious hours and learnt to bring her cooking to a whole new level where she had won a few awards on some of her dishes, she had really found her passion since leaving Beacon. Tiger had finished her course on mixology but still was yet to perfect every drink which she kept working at behind the bar with her husband.

They had actually met in the same mixology class and the couple like to challenge each other, both are trying to best one another in mixing drinks but better yet they supported each other and they were in love, she just knew Gretchen had something to do with her joining that mixology course. Daisy and Jade had settled down, they only went on a few small missions but nothing for the war against Salem, Professor Ozpin understood that they just couldn't do it anymore, at that point of their lives they lived in Patch, Daisy taught classes at Signal Academy and even helped out at Eada and Gretchen's every now and then, Jade did a little bit of work at Eada and Gretchen's along with even helping at her parent's flower shop.

However most of her time was spent raising little Eada with Daisy, after Jade and Daisy got married they had discussed the future about kids, Daisy had been holding on to a secret from the last day they spent with Austin as he told her that he left a certain substance with a clinic in Vale meant only for Jade or her to use. The two talked it over and both agreed on using Austin's last gift, Jade and Daisy both thanked Austin as Jade was inseminated and with 9 months later a healthy baby girl with silver eyes was born. Daisy and Jade just grinned at each other knowing they had to name her after their team mates which led to her full name, Eada Gretchen Ryann-Avery, Daisy had given up her name Hartley when she married Jade.

When she was born Daisy invited everyone in where she introduced baby Eada to Nell, Ray, Tiger, David and Julie. It turned out that David and Julie were not dead after all but were still imprisoned along with a few other victims, not everyone was found as their was no trace of any of the Silver Eyed Warriors but the team that went looking for survivors had found them, David and Julie had been together and still worked on the cruise ship, the crew welcomed them back after they were cleared to work from the doctor, however they both had to apply for leave not wanting to miss their oldest friend's birth of her first child. Everyone choked up about her name as it truly was a happy day as Jade and Daisy swore they saw Gretchen, Eada and Austin standing by their friends.
