Chapter 35 Reading Two New Problems
Chapter Text
"You were away for a long time yesterday," Iapetus said. "Did you succeed?"
"Did you kill Eros?" Oceanus asked eagerly.
"You can't really kill a primordial god," Kronos said, one of the few times he bothered to interrupt. "But you can stop them, take their weapon of power and make sure they sleep," he said.
Kronos shrugged. "No. The fool managed to escape before I could kill him."
Iapetus raised an eyebrow. "Then what are you so pleased about?"
"Why are you pleased anyways?" Percy asked turning to face the king.
"Just listen to the book Jackson," Kronos said.
Huffing Percy turned to the reader and listened.
"Kronos!" Percy yelled, storming over to their table in the mess hall. "What the fuck was that last night?"
"Why yell that in the mess hall?" Annabeth asked, glancing up at her Percy frowned.
"Um, I was mad and wanted answers right away." Percy rubbed his neck and sighed.
"Kronos?" Iapetus demanded. "You did something last night?"
"No," Kronos said hurriedly.
"Yes!" Percy exclaimed. "This massive dickhead came to the top of the tower and suddenly ki-"
"Thinking back this, it was so obvious what he was going to say," Hyperion muttered.
Kronos slapped his hand over Percy's mouth. "Hold your tongue," he hissed. "Before I do it for you." Percy narrowed his eyes, but Kronos just smirked. "Licking my hand's not going to do anything, Percy."
"Notice he changed to your first name?" Hades asked, raising an eyebrow, was this the sign that Kronos liked Percy enough to call him by name?
"Why do silly mortals need two names or more anyways?" Kiois always the slight idiot asked.
"Its to identify, status, family, so its not so confusing?" Malcom said with sass, he was tired and just wanted to sleep but nooo…. Don't get him wrong, he loved reading just like any other child of Athena. But he was tired, grieving and just wanted rest. But NOOOO they had to listen another chapter of the really big book. Grieving because his crush sat beside Percy, on the Titan's side. He had tried to get over it, telling himself that Luke had already hurt so many of them… But seeing him again hurt (**)
Iapetus raised an eyebrow. "Since when did you call him Percy?"
"Since he-"
"Outside," Kronos snapped, scrambling to his feet, and grabbing Percy by the arm to drag the demigod after him. "Now."
Ares scoffed and glared. "That was so obvious," he said tilting his heard with a type of laziness to Kronos who just gazed at him with cold gold eyes. Only breaking their gazes when Percy whispered something to him. Once Ares was sure the Titan wasn't facing him, did he sag slightly, he may not be entirely afraid of the Titan, since all of their powers to hurt were currently locked up. Thanks to the Fates, but still Kronos was scary. Everyone in this room was scared of him, all due to different reasons. With that thought Ares glances at Percy who smirks and mouths: were you scared?
Scoffing Ares looks away in denial and hears the brat snicker.
The demigods, Titans and monsters watched them pass by, but Kronos ignored them. The Titan pulled Percy into an enclave once they'd exited the mess hall. "Refrain from shouting it out to the entirety of Othrys, Percy Jackson."
Percy crossed his arms over his chest. "Can you at least tell me what the Tartarus that was last night?" he demanded.
Laughing Aphrodite turns to Percy with a smirk, her face blushed a light pink and her usaualy blue eyes turning gold when Percy saw them. "That was a kiss Percy, you've kissed Annabeth so many times, you should know what a kiss is." She said.
"Fuck off," Percy sneered. "What I had really meant was why was he kissing me?"
Kronos frowned, glancing up to see if anyone was watching before replying. "This?" he asked, taking a step towards Percy so they were only inches away from each other.
Percy's eyes narrowed. "Yeah. Exactly that."
"And… this?" Kronos asked, leaning down, but stopping less than an inch from Percy.
The demigod swallowed. "Ye – yeah. That too."
"Why'd you stutter bro?" Nico asked, popping up between Percy's feet, from the shadows making Percy jump slightly.
"He's my first guy crush… I had always kinda found him handsome and then he kisses me and ugh" Percy said explaining it to Nico.
Nico closed his eye but listened to Percy try explaining his feelings, ignoring whoever was reading. "I missed you," Nico finally said. "I knew you were alive, and I just remembered all those times I slept over at yours." Nico said.
"I missed our brotherly fun to Neeks," Percy said and made sure the others wouldn't hear. "But I'm a Titan now."
Nodding Nico said that he was okay with it and just wanted to be friends.
"Ask me when the book is done," Percy said and then begin to listen to the book once again.
Kronos smirked. "I make you flustered. I can hear your heartbeat, Perseus, it's ridiculously fast. Like it's about to take off. You're aware of me at all times – last night proved that."
Percy sucked in a sharp breath, trying to steady himself. "Wha – what does that have to do with anything?"
"Everything," Selena said and smiled.
"It's not just that," Kronos murmured. He reached out, his fingers ghosting down the side of Percy's face and tracing one of the scars. "But my touch too."
"Maybe that's because you were torturing me," Percy said, his voice subdued.
Kronos smirked. "I don't think so," he said.
Percy's jaw twitched. "Really? What makes you think I like you?"
"I had it confirmed by Eros," Kronos stated. "He said 'your feelings aren't unrequited'."
"Did you say it in Eros' voice?" a demigod (Pick a random name from PJO who said that) spoke up bravely to the Titan king.
"Of course, he did, sarcastic Kronos is hilarious," Krios spoke up from his spot in the corner.
Percy swallowed nervously, his green eyes staring into Kronos'. "Yeah? Well maybe he's wrong."
"Then swear it," Kronos smirked, shifting so his mouth was by Percy's ear. "Swear that you don't like me, and I'll stop."
"I swear on the river Styx that I don't love-" the words died in Percy's throat, and try as he might; he couldn't get them out.
Percy ignored all the stares he was getting and just stared at the wall, this had happened already, and he hated how his life was just being told to everyone he knew, but there was literally nothing they could do.
Kronos smirked triumphantly. "Told you," he hummed, his mouth moving to trail down Percy's neck.
Zeus scrunched his face up, he didn't want to know about his nephews love life, but on another hand he didn't entirely care, his family was insestual, etc… it was an everyday norm, that none of them blinked at it. Zeus glanced over at Poseidon who had a frown on his face, but he listened to not saying anything.
Percy's eyes widened, and then he shoved Kronos away. "Screw you," he snapped.
Kronos was completely unfazed and chuckled. "I thought that was the point."
Percy shook his head. "I can't like you! I – I'm supposed to be the Hero of Olympus, not a traitor!"
"At least we know you're still loyal enough to say that," Zeus said only to be smacked by a peacock feather fan, and a shush from his wife.
"And I'm supposed to be the heartless Titan Lord," Kronos remarked in amusement.
"You are heartless," Percy retorted, backing into the wall. "You killed Marie!"
"He's killed for worse," Iapetus warned Percy who scowled but nodded knowingly.
Kronos snorted. "I've said it before - this is war, Perseus. People die in war. It's a fact of life."
"Not kids!" Percy exclaimed angrily.
"Everyone is affected, and everyone could die." Ares admitted and scowled as he realized he agreed with Kronos on something. One thing Ares could admit that he liked about Kronos was his war strategizing and fighting style. Honed and sharpened, taught from Chaos himself.
"It was either I killed her, or one of the Titans would have kept her, Perseus," Kronos stated. "That is what happens."
"In the end he kinda ended up saving her,"
Percy shut his eyes, wrapping his arms around himself and sliding down the wall. "I can't love you," he said, his voice muffled.
Kronos crouched in front of Percy. "I thought the same thing when Iapetus confronted me about it eight days ago. I tried to ignore it – and you – but I can't. It's impossible."
"Nothing's impossible," Percy mumbled.
Kronos shrugged. "Well, that was," he mused. "I'm constantly aware of where you are, Perseus, even without trying to be."
"Sounds stalkerish," Hyperion said with a grin, only to pout as Kronos smacked his head really hard.
Percy frowned at him, completely aware that they were only inches from each other, but he saw that Kronos was genuine. "So… last night."
"I talked to Eros," Kronos grimaced, sitting on the floor opposite Percy. "He apparently decided I needed a kick up the backside."
"So, you decided to see my reaction when you came back." Percy sighed.
Kronos nodded. "Yes. And you definitely reacted," he added.
Percy scowled at him. "You surprised me."
"Yes Percy, everyone who is surprised when someone kisses them, then decides to kiss em back. Your natural instinct is to shove them away. Not pull, pulling is only if you like them," Aphrodite thought she smartly said, slightly sarcastic and partially serious.
"So… if I were to do it now, what would you do?"
"Kick you in your balls," Percy said confidently.
Kronos snorted. "And when I get pissed because you do that?"
"Run like every monster in Tartarus is after me," Percy grinned. "Or the heartless Titan who leads them."
Kronos smirked. "And if you're too slow?"
"Plus, he controls time, so of course Percy would be to slow," (Insert random name) said.
"That'll only happen if you cheat," Percy said, sitting up straighter.
"I always cheat, Perseus," Kronos said.
Percy smiled slightly, and then hesitated. "Look," he said, "I… can we just see what happens? And you have to stop ignoring me."
"What will you do in return?"
"Not ignoring someone is a simple and easy thing to do!" Percy exclaimed.
Kronos cocked his head to the side. "So, a simple and easy thing for you…"
Percy scowled at him. "Considering you ambushed me last night, not ignoring me is the least you could do," he stated.
"Especially if you're trying to get into my pants," Percy cheekily added.
Kronos sighed. "Very well," he said, standing up.
"But saying that," Percy said as he accepted the hand Kronos held out to him, "I guess since I'm already a traitor of Olympus due to my oath, that seeing what happens wouldn't kill anyone."
"But you were tricked, does it even count?!" Conner exclaimed and glanced at the gods.
"Even though Perseus was tricked, he did swear on the Styx, and a Styx oath is a promise," Hestia said calmly and stroked the flames and glanced at her favourite nephew.
Said Titan was standing behind Kronos' throne, braiding his hair into little braids; the Titan content with hands running through his unruly mane of hair. They seem so domestic she thought, she personally didn't want Percy with anyone, but she saw the tenderness in Kronos' eyes as he spoke or looked at Percy, when he thought no one else was watching. And was okay to see what would happen and help Percy if the time ever arose.
It was Kronos' turn to be surprised as he eyed Percy warily. He knew the demigod wouldn't say that without having a plan… but what was his plan? "To attempt to change you and prepare you for what's coming."
Ah, Kronos thought. Of course. The demigod was hoping that he'd be able to change Kronos. The Titan inwardly smiled – many had tried that over the millions of years since he'd become like he was now, but none had succeeded. The demigod would have a hard time.
Some of them present didn't think it would take too much to change Kronos, it had slowly progressed over the chapters they had already read. So, change was coming no matter how Percy's love story seemed to burn so slow.
"One more thing, Perseus," Kronos said. "Remember that you asked me if I trusted Cygsodol?"
Percy frowned. "Yeah? What about it?"
"Cariad said that he's going to start a war," Kronos said.
All eyes who didn't know about the war froze and turned to the reader who had trembling hands. They would have to fight in another war?!
Percy's jaw dropped. "Eros said what?" he demanded.
Kronos ran his head through his black hair. "We'll be fighting on two fronts," he grimaced.
"The army is strong," Hyperion always one to defend the army he and his friend Atlas commanded. Like that one-time about4 billion years ago, all the gods that mortals worshiped got into a big war and had almost demolished earth… ever hear of parallel universes? Gods were sometimes the reason why.
Percy glanced towards the door to the mess hall. "Can we talk later? If we talk here any longer someone will come out."
Kronos nodded slightly. "Tonight," he promised.
Percy raised an eyebrow. "You going to keep that promise? Or should I wear my armour for added protection?"
Kronos' mouth curled up into a smirk. "Depends on if you think you need that much protection. Usually one thing's enough." Before Percy could back away, he had kissed him quickly and turned to re-enter the mess hall.
The Pernos Fanclub were fanning red faces, with there hands, or the little handheld fans Leo had just finished making and some of the girls were on their knees squealing, this was so awesome! Like a manga love story. Those two were perfect together! Ran through their minds.
Percy just stared at thee Aphroditex2 and the Venus kids as they gushed over him kissing a badass Titan lord. Then shook his head, he would never understand some people.
Percy grabbed his arm. "Okay, stop doing that." Kronos turned to face him and raised an eyebrow. "If you're gonna do it," Percy grinned, "at least do it properly." A wolfish grin spread across Kronos' face and Percy ducked his head to hide his slight blush. "I mean, I did say we'd see what happens."
Almost everyone who wasn't part of the Pernos fanclub, heck there was shirts already made:
I 3 Pernos!
Covered their ears at the squeals and fan noise.
"SHUT |UP and let us read!" Nico finally snapped, and like and anime Nico had flaming black aura that made everyone instantly quiet down and rebegin the book.
Luke whistles quietly, "that's crazy that everyone actually did as he said, immortals alike," Luke said to Percy who nodded.
"Neeks is never angry, more monotone and bored, so when he gets angry people notice and take caution," Percy agreed.
Kronos chuckled. "I think I was right," he mused, and at Percy's curious look he elaborated. "You will be the death of me."
Percy shrugged. "I've got to keep my promise on the Styx somehow."
Kronos snorted. "Good luck with that," he hummed.
Percy shook his head. "I won't need any," he said confidently.
"Don't get cocky," Kronos whispered to Percy who smiled.
Kronos smirked and pulled Percy closer to him. He tilted his head down, feeling Percy tense as he neared, and then they touched. At first Percy was uneasy, Kronos could sense. Percy moved slightly, backing up against the wall, and Kronos followed him.
Percy hesitated before letting Kronos kiss him. It took him several long seconds to relax, but when he did, he actually found himself enjoying it. Kronos was rough, but not harsh, and there seemed to be a need for him in the Titan. Percy opened his mouth slightly, and Kronos took the opportunity in stride. The Titan smelt of fresh air mixed with the smell of a forest away from civilization, in other words he smelt unpolluted. Percy smiled slightly at his thought. Yet there was an undercurrent of danger, of a sharp smell which lingered in Percy's nose with a slight metallic tang and made him nervous of being so close to Kronos.
Kronos made sure his face was stone, he didn't entirely care that they were reading his and Percy's love life, but he was annoyed that they got to hear his thoughts to, Percy's thoughts and special moments they shared was only for them. Only Kronos was always allowed within a sliver of the former demigod's mind.
"What the Tartarus are the two of you doing?"
"AAAh my reappearance!" Iapetus said and smiled, this was kind of intriguing to listen to, they all got to see a side of their brother they never really got to. Or a side they never showed often…
Kronos jerked away from Percy, his nostrils flaring and his eyes dark. Percy sucked in deep breaths as he tried to calm his racing heart, and he swore under his breath. "Shit, Iapetus. You nearly gave me a heart attack."
"Both of you have now given me the need to wash my eyes out with disinfectant," Iapetus stated. "I hope it was worth it." His silver eyes frowned at Percy before turning to Kronos. "Brother, I would have a word with you."
Kronos cleared his throat. "Of course. Perseus, why don't you go on in and join your friends?"
Percy nodded and slipped out between the Titans, quickly retreating to the mess hall.
Iapetus crossed his arms as he glared at Kronos. "I thought we agreed there would be none of that."
"So, did I," Kronos said with a smirk.
Iapetus clenched his jaw. "And what if he wants none of this?"
"Did that seem like they didn't want that?" Harmonia asked and flipped her platinum locks over her shoulder and sighed, some people just didn't want others to be happy so they would ruin others.
"Did he look like he wanted none of it then?" Kronos said, moving to go past Iapetus and into the mess hall.
"This is a mistake," Iapetus insisted, grabbing Kronos' arm.
Kronos clenched his jaw. "I know what I'm doing."
"I bet you don't, when you're in love no one knows entirely know what they are doing.
Iapetus' eyes narrowed. "You're acting off your feelings. Use your head!"
Kronos slammed Iapetus into the wall. "You know nothing," he snapped. "I am thinking! I'm thinking about the safety of the whole world, Iapetus!"
"Originally we did just protect the land and stuff, guarded the mortals from monsters…. Then something happened," Kronos mused, crossing his legs and fiddled with a braid that Percy had done sometime ago. Maybe he should grow out his hair to make it into a braid? Some Japanese men he had hung out with had, had braids. A sign of honour for samurai. (*)
Iapetus froze. "What?"
"I was so annoyed you left me hanging," Iapetus said to Kronos who just rolled his eyes.
But Kronos had disappeared back into the mess hall.
The King strode to the Titan area of the mess hall and beckoned Krios over. The older Titan excused himself from the group and jogged over. "Yes?" he asked.
Kronos led him over to a corner where they could speak without being overheard. "I'll be leaving to check on something in Alaska. I should be back by the night."
"Should?" that was a word everyone had focused on, it was a key focus. Afterall they were just reading a book, none of this had happened so as the story progressed everyone had kinda slowly forgot that this was real. Because the characters and its world were in danger, and the only ones who knew was the protagonist view. Who was trying to do good, but was seen as evil by many? Di immortals, when had the gods become so arrogant, that they needed a book to tell them that they were pretty blind. Despite being super powerful too, egos shattered a bit they listened on.
"Should?" Krios asked uneasily.
Kronos grimaced. "If all goes to plan."
Krios raised an eyebrow before he shook his head. "I won't ask. Just try to not get yourself killed."
Kronos nodded. "Of course."
*eight days previously*
"You're saying," Athena said slowly, "that my daughter is burning up from the inside-out and you waited until after the battle to tell me?"
Athena looked up when her name was read aloud, she had wondered when the gods would be back into the story. She had been watching Percy and Kronos closely. Looking for signs that the elder Titan was forcing Percy. To try find a way to get his oath undone, without the sea spawn dying.
Apollo winced. "I thought the battle was more important. I mean, I know she's an immortal demigod, so I thought she'd be able to survive until you got back. And she has."
"You could have told me!" Athena exclaimed.
"You were in the middle of fighting a battle," Apollo pointed out.
"It would be an unneeded distraction, and it could cause a rift in the war," Ares sneered, he didn't really get along with any of his siblings, because they had so many different views, but he could agree with Apollo a lot, because despite him being a manwhore, he was actually good at thinking up plans. Plus, Athena and he fought on everything, both being wanting to be in first for war strategist. Childish but who ever wanted to lose?
"That's not the point," Athena said exasperatedly.
"We're wasting time," Will interrupted. "Annabeth's still going to die if we don't' start soon."
Apollo nodded and spun around, nearly running into the infirmary. Athena rushed in behind him, stopping only when she reached Annabeth's bed.
Annabeth felt a shiver as what was happening to her in the future, burning from the inside out didn't sound fun.
"She fell unconscious about two hours ago," Apollo said. "Will, how have her vitals been?"
"Generally stable," Will said. "And I've been keeping the nectar IV going like you said."
Apollo nodded. "Good."
Athena had been writing down important names, scenes, and tried to piece what was going to happen in the future. She wasn't sure if and once they were done reading the books, would it fade away like a dream… why where they supposed to read this book?
"So, what do we do now?" Will asked.
Apollo rubbed his hands together. "Give her an overdose of nectar and ambrosia so she erupts into her divine form. Can you take the IV out, Will?"
"At least that's a bit less painful then getting your flesh eaten and then being bathed in nectar," Iapetus said. "A mortal asked us to make him Titan, and the only way most can become one is if they have titan or godly blood in them. Mortals aren't made for immortality. So, we tried to make it as painful as possible and if they made it Kronos made them immortal. Only 2 made it that way."
Percy saw Iapetus glance at him then look away
what was that about?
Will quickly did so as Athena grabbed several flasks of nectar and half a dozen squares of ambrosia. "Will I be able to stay?" Will asked.
"It should be safe," Apollo said. "But I can't be sure. You choose."
Will nodded. "I'll stay," he said confidently.
Apollo nodded slightly as he tilted Annabeth up on the bed. "Then you can help Athena overload her system. I mean Annabeth's system," he corrected at Athena's glare.
"Athena is like the old hag of a teacher that no one entirely likes, because she'll whip our asses," a demigod whispered to Leo who nodded.
"I had one of those," he said.
Athena sighed. "Let's just do this, Apollo. Preferably without your irritating comments."
Apollo frowned. "I wouldn't say they're irritating."
"They aren't, I'm the healer, so what I say is important no mater if you want to hear it or not," Apollo said, and Athena scowled.
Smug git she thought.
BURRRRNNN! Everyone thought and struggled to keep a straight face. Even Artemis knew her goofy twin was always serious when it came to healing and Visions of the future.
Athena shook her head. "Just shut up, Apollo."
The god nodded. "Right. Shutting up."
Athena ignored him and slowly trickled one whole flask of nectar into Annabeth's mouth. Will picked up another one and did the same when Athena was done. Annabeth's temperature rapidly rose, and her skin started smoking.
"That must be the last bit of mortality leaving. Mortals are made of 95% of water or some odd number," Poseidon said.
Apollo frowned. "Will," he said, "you're going to want to cover your eyes. It's gonna be a big explosion."
Annabeth shifted, her eyes opening. "Mom?"
"How does it feel, Annabeth?" Apollo asked before Athena could reply.
"Hot," Annabeth said, her voice surprisingly not shaking. "But a good hot."
Athena smiled. "You're going to be a goddess, Annabeth."
"With Percy," Annabeth said firmly.
Athena frowned. "Yes. With the sea spawn."
"Last one, Annabeth," Apollo said. "This'll probably hurt."
Annabeth nodded and let Will trickle the nectar into her mouth, squeezing her eyes shut as her already burning body overheated more.
Then she abruptly erupted into an explosion of light. Will's jaw dropped. "Whoa," he breathed.
Athena smiled. Annabeth's divine form was a grey the colour of the clouds on a stormy day with streaks of white light intertwined with the grey. A faint outline of Annabeth was inside the light.
Before when the war was going on and people swore they saw falling angles, it was technically true, it was the gods without their mortal shells… so that's also why some people see angles when they see gods, in places where the mist are weak, something about the human brain trying to make sense why he saw something out of the ordinary for this modern world.
"Now," Athena said, "Annabeth. It should feel like you are floating. Think about your mortal form and draw it back into yourself. Think of turning off your divine form."
There was almost a minute of silence before Annabeth managed to change back into her mortal form. She took several deep breaths. "That was harder than I expected."
"It is your first time, give yourself credit," Apollo said and turning to face her he had a thumb up. "Good job getting it on your first try."
"It'll become easier with time," Athena assured her. "For now, however, you'll have to stay on Olympus until you can control yourself. Do you know your domains?"
Annabeth nodded. "Yes. Architecture and weaknesses."
"That is actually interesting and useful," Percy commented, then nodded to his ex girlfriend. He hadkinda cruelly dumped her if he really wanted to think about it.
Apollo raised an eyebrow. "Weaknesses? That's interesting."
"It's helpful," Athena corrected. "Especially against Kronos and the other Titans. Come on, Annabeth, let's go inform Zeus of your domains."
"It's the gods time to shine now and we aren't going to lose," Zeus thought to himself.
Annabeth nodded and sat up, getting off the bed. She followed Athena out of the room with a smile on her face.
It was dark outside. Kronos was late.
Percy stared out to the north, the whole of California spreading out beneath him. He knew Kronos was somewhere in Alaska.
That sensor Percy had finely tuned in with Kronos was working high tier and everyone was wondering what was going to happen.
Percy frowned, his gut twisting itself into knots – he had a bad feeling about this. It was an irritating twitch in the back of his brain, that something was wrong. Percy concentrated, trying to find Kronos' presence. He focused on the feeling that Kronos emitted – the way everything seemed slightly slow around him – and the tower disappeared around him.
The immortals all turned to stare at Percy who opened his mouth to ask what the problem was when Kronos glared at them all and they turned to the reader who coughed and began again.
'Kronos what was that?' Percy threw at the King through their Titan mind link, only on their wavelength though.
'you never actually ever told anyone how you found me' Kronos said. 'But what you just did was you remembered the feeling of my powers in the air, only Oceanus has ever felt that something about the molecules that water has memories…. Anyways, what you did, is since you're always with me and we had changed bodily fluids, my saliva, your powers took on mine and you pushed yourself into me somehow…."
'so, what you're saying is we merged?' Percy asked.
'Yea you saw out of my eyes, what I had seen, you also saw the past with my powers.'
Snow was coming down around him, so thick he could barely see. The sound of the blizzard messed with his hearing, and coldness numbed his fingers. But the hilt of Backbiter was resting solidly in his hand. He spun, trying to hear any sounds that could give him a warning, but there was nothing.
Then something slammed into the blade of Backbiter, sending the blade flying off into the snow. And a split-second later pain rippled down his back as a sword hacked through his armour.
A foot was planted squarely in his chest and he was flung backwards, his head slamming into a tree which loomed out of nowhere behind him. He fell face-down onto the snow-covered ground and tried to force himself up with his hands, but his back flared with pain. He clenched his jaw as he heard the snow crunching – they were walking towards him.
They crouched down beside him, gripping his chin and forcing him to look at them. "Let's see how long you last shall we? Out here in the snow and cold. With no one around to help you. You see, Kronos, I will take over soon. And there will be no one to stop me once you die out here tonight."
And Percy was wrenched back into his own body, supporting his weight on the parapets as his legs threatened to collapse beneath him. There were two things he was sure of – Kronos was in grave danger, and Erebus was responsible for it.
Eyes went to Percy who was still in slight awe at what Kronos had revealed, so it hadn't been a vision, but a memory of Kronos' essence, and him pulling on the strings of time.
A/N: Heh *rubs neck* I am alive and kicking, I am writing this story, I just have so many ideas I get stuck and then get writer's block on my stories. I am so sorry it's been five months since my last update!
I also had a special edition AU of RCBT coming out soon, working on the chapter right now. I am only posting it on Wattpad, so hopefully see you there on the story, my user name on there is: goodygoodi
**= A fanfiction idea I have been working on.
*= IDK if that's true, no flames please! But in my fiction world, that is what it was in the olden days, because who knows? Parallel universes hey?
