Emma – Gray and Maddy were sitting in the gyrosphere. The two youngest children were now worried and suspicious. « Why didn't the ball turn back ? », « I dunno. Maybe there's a problem with the flying dinosaurs. But if you want to be less worried – there's a fence. We just gotta roll following it. ». The children have indeed seen a fence which had a strangely opened gate.
After rolling about ten meters the children stumbled upon red and brown dinosaurs with spikes on their back. They were now facing Ankylosauruses. Then Emmalin's phone started to ring. « Emma are you alright ? », « Yes we are. », « Where are you ? », « We're near a fence with three spiked dinos nearby. Why ? », « I'm going to retrieve you with a colleage – his tomboyish foster daughter and two Navy soldiers. ». But Claire had turned the loudspeeker on allowing Owen – Maisie and the two Navy sailors to hear them talk. « I know where they are. But tell them to go as far as possible from the Ankylosauruses. », « OK got it. ».
Emma then started to obey but the nearest Ankylosaurus charged at the gyrosphere and then striked it with its clubed tail.
The glass ball was hit so violently that it rolled towards the open gate and bumped into several trees before finally stopping. But it was badly damaged. « Talk about fifty caliber Browning M2 machine gun bullet ! » Maddy groaned referring to the Christopher Loyd-starring advert in which it was explained the gyrosphere could sustain a 12.7 mm high-explosive incediary armor-piercing bullet. As the children tried to drive the gyrosphere – two torvosauruses looked with curiousity at the strange spheric thing in front of them. The children then yelled in panic irritating the DX-infected carnivores which bumped into the gyrosphere to make it roll. They were playing with it. They kept on until the glass vehicle rolled down a slope.
The gyrosphere ended up with the top facing the ground. Then Emmalin's phone rang revealing Aunt Claire as the calling contact. She tried to grab the little machine with no success. Gray and Maddy were scared. The two dinosaurs then were further irritated and then hit the gyrosphere – causing it to roll and end up between two big roots. Fortunately the door was at the opposite side of the torvosauruses. The children got rid of their safety belt and ran. The two dinosaurs then grabbed the object only to realize their three preys had already fled away.
The children were running in a clearing when the two other torvosauruses caught them up. Arriving at a waterfall – the three children were now cornered on a cliff. In a nick of time – they managed to escape the dinosaurs by jumping in the lake. The dinosaurs then angrily returned into the forest after knowing their prey had just vanished under the water. The children them popped out of the water and crawled to the bank.
