A/N Hey, guys. Welcome back to more of the third and final arc of the Godzilla Meet The Civilians fanfic. So first off, I hope you guys are doing well, staying safe out there, and keeping your distance as we continue living in this wild world. Second, this is the continuation of the third and final arc. And third, this is the thirty-third chapter, which is basically the second chapter of Godzilla vs. Kong, obviously. I also got a PM from user about Doctor Graham making an appearance in GvK. I don't know if I'm gonna be adding Doctor Graham in this because she resigned from Monarch in the previous chapter, which is the start of Godzilla vs. Kong. But, anyway. This is the thirty-third chapter of the Godzilla fanfic, and let's get to it. Also, I won't be switching up from my characters' perspective for the rest of the third and final arc so that way they'll have a better role than they did in the second arc.

I only own my characters Will, Bianca, and Sonya.

New York City, May 14th, 2024

The next morning, Will woke up as the sunrise brightens outside of his bedroom window. He rubbed his brown eyes as he sat up and got off his bed.

"I'm tired." he muttered as he walked to the bedroom door and opened it.

He walked to the bathroom as he closed the door before he turned on the sink and grabbed his empty cup and filled it with water along with his toothbrush and his toothpaste.

After adding water to his toothpaste, Will started brushing his teeth before he washed his face and trimmed off his moustache with his razor.

He then took off his pajamas and stepped into the bathtub as he turned on the shower and washed himself off to get ready for the day.

And after five minutes of taking a shower, he turned off the water and stepped out of the bathtub as he grabbed his towel and dried himself off.

After drying himself off, Will puts on his pajamas as he opened the door and walked out of the bathroom before walking to his bedroom.

While he was walking to his bedroom, he almost bumps into Bianca, who had just woke up and walked out of her bedroom.

"Morning, Bee. You up already?" he said.

"Good morning to you too, sleepyhead." she replied groggily as she walked to the bathroom.

Returning to his bedroom, Will sat down on his bed and grabbed his phone off his bedside table and unlocked it with his passcode.

"I miss you mom and dad." he said to himself as he looked at the wallpaper of himself and his parents when he was a toddler.

While he was looking through his phone, a notification popped up and he grabbed his late father's glasses and read the notification.

"Breaking News from CNN. Godzilla Attacks An Apex Cybernetics Facility In Pensacola Florida, Godzilla No Longer A Titan Savior." he read aloud.

"Holy shit." he muttered.

Will quickly read the news article and he couldn't believe what he was reading.

"Why would Godzilla suddenly appear in Pensacola Florida and attack a facility? That doesn't make any sense." he said.

He grabbed his phone and ran out of the bedroom to get his friends.

"Bee! Sony! I just got breaking news from CNN!" he called.

Bianca popped her head out of the bathroom door and Sonya walked out of the bedroom, still feeling a little groggy from waking up.

"What's with all the shouting?" asked Sonya.

"Godzilla attacked a facility last night in Pensacola, Florida." Will replied.

"Did you just say Godzilla attacked a facility last night?" asked Bianca.

"He attacked an Apex Cybernetics facility. And a few employees were killed in last night's attack. And there's no other information yet." Will clarified.

Just then, Will gets a phone call from Maddie, who had moved to Pensacola with Mark five years after Godzilla defeated King Ghidorah in Boston.

"Maddie, what you got?" asked Will as he answered and put the phone on speaker.

"Get this. Bernie Hayes, one of the surviving employees at the Apex Cybernetics facility, released another podcast about the attack last night. He said Godzilla had suddenly appeared out of nowhere attacked a facility for some unknown reason. It doesn't make any sense on why he would attack a facility." Maddie replied.

"Did you talk to Mark about it?" asked Bianca.

"I spoke to my dad and he said he doesn't know why either." Maddie replied.

"And aren't you supposed to be in school right now?" asked Sonya.

"I had to skip the mandatory assembly. I'm just not up for it." Maddie simply replied.

"Maddie, listen to me. We'll come to Pensacola as soon as possible so we could learn more about last night's attack at the Apex Cybernetics Facility." said Will.

"We'll see you soon, all right?" said Sonya.

"I'll see you guys when you get here." said Maddie as she hung up.

"Looks like we're heading to Pensacola." said Bianca.

"Wait, before we start packing our bags, there's more to this story." said Will.

"I thought there wasn't any other information yet." said Sonya.

"According to Walter Simmons, the CEO of Apex Cybernetics, said that he formed this organization to make humanity more safe and they're now seeing Godzilla as a threat to them, and they have to get rid of him." said Will.

"This Walter Simmons seems to be a shady businessman." Bianca muttered.

"We don't know for sure yet, Bee." said Sonya.

"The employees at the Apex Cybernetics is building something as well. And we need to find out what it is before it falls into wrong hands." said Will.

"I guess that's the end of the discussion. Let's start packing our bags and head to Pensacola so that we could learn more about this Apex Cybernetics." said Sonya.

And I will end the thirty-third chapter there for now. So what do you guys think of the chapter so far? Love it? Hate it? I already watched the movie the other night and I have to wait for the date on when it'll be available to download on iTunes or Google Play so I could fully understand the transcript since it is only available for rent at home right now. And to the guest reviewer Panda39, yes, Will is gonna go and be with Maddie and her friend Josh to meet with Bernie while Bianca and Sonya will meet and be with Doctor Nathan Lind, Doctor Ilene Andrews, and Jia. But again, if you guys watched the movie, please refrain yourselves from giving spoilers in the reviews section otherwise the viewers won't appreciate being spoiled. But yeah, that's pretty much it for the thirty-third chapter. More chapters of the third and final arc will be coming soon. I'm really happy to see that the movie like Godzilla vs. Kong is exploring a character like Jia who's diagnosed with a disability such as deaf hearing and mute and using sign language as a way to communicate with others. So yeah, that's pretty much of the rant from me.
